I’m travelling from several months an than I arrived in India. After one month on mainland and the last week spent on Andamans Islands, I had a flight from Port Blair to Kolkata and a connection flight from Kolkata to Bangkok.
Once arrived in Port Blair Airport, the employees told me that, not having an immigration office there, I had to take my backpack in Kolkata and check-in again.
Fine.

Arrived in Kolkata and collected my bag at 13.45, I move to SpiceJet desk for the Check-in the flight for Bangkok (SG43) scheduled for h15.45

After a long wait in queue, the guy at the desk (you can check the employees’name from my boarding pass issuing time) communicate me that if I would enter in Thailand, I should need to have and show them the Hotel reservation, Health insurance statement and a confirmed flight out of Thailand in one month.
I was pretty sure that having an Italian Passport, I didn’t need a VISA for Thailand (up to 45 days) and I tried to explain this to your desk-employee.
His answer was just:
‘even for Italians is mandatory!’
I asked him several times if he was sure, but he was inamovable.

So I said ‘ok let’s check-me in and if I’ll need, I’ll buy a flight ticket at the Visa-office in Bangkok’
No way, the clerk didn’t want to let me get the flight without the required documents.

At 14.45, with the plane leaving soon, I found my self in the senseless situation to buy an useless flight from Bangkok to Vientiane (that I would never use as I will continue my travel by land to Laos and then to Vietnam) just in order to take my plane for Bangkok!

A few hours ago I arrived in Suvarnabhumi Airport and at the Passport control gate, the girl simply told me ‘No Sir, you don’t need anything. As per Italians citizens, you’ve 45-days visa free’ …

after many emails, customer service continues to apologize for the delay of the flight…. no refund, no communication from management even in Cc. embarrassing non-management of the problem and indeed, general ignorance, beyond stupidity

    With reference to the above subject and PNR no. I would like to bring to your attention that Spice Jet has not refunded the amount since 3 years.
    I booked an air ticket with above PNR no. on 28th February 2020 and travel was planned for 17th April 2020 to Kochi and back on 25th April 2020 to Dubai.The flight was cancelled due to pandemic situations and I was eligible for full refund. That didnot happen until now.
    Every time I sent an email, they say to wait since the issue is escalated to the higher authorities. I approached customer care, customer relations India and Dubai, Refunds in Spice Jet, Appellate Authority etc. All of them have the same answer and they have no shame in asking customers to wait. It has been 3 years since I am waiting for the refund. Refund of AED 1, 200 is not a big deal for a company like SpiceJet but for me, it is hard earned money.

    Please see the latest email from Spicejet on Nov 2022 and the content is the same since years.

      I have cancelled my Airticket when SpiceJet rescheduled the flight in Oct 2022.
      I have requested for refund to my Bank Account & have been waiting for the last 3 last months to get the refund and there is no proper response

      They claiming the funds has been processed & i did not receive any funds in my bank account and I have shared my bank statement to them as a proof.
      My concern is why they are not providing transfer/swift copy for a proof, if if processed then, i can cross check with my bank it will be very difficult to track with bank,
      if they provide such proof after 6months or 1 year

        Hello,

        I had a flight from Khajuraho to New Delhi today scheduled at 5:40 pm.
        When I reached the counter, the female with the name “Aasna Hashmi” did the worse that she could. She said my baggage is heavy, check in is close sand I have to pay 4, 000₹ (the actual cost of a one person flight) if I need a boarding pass. She did the same thing from the customer who was ahead of me and I saw him paying 6000₹ extra.
        - Please note for the same flight, I had traveled with a heavier bag and they took my bag near the plane where the crew is present. With absolutely no hassles.
        - On the other scenario, the same flight had accepted me when I reached 30 min prior the scheduled departure time.
        - I have also seen MLAs arriving 5 min prior and boarding the flight with no questions asked on check in counter being closed.
        - the most shocking part was my bag became completely empty when it weighted 7 kgs, the most shocking part. It felt as if they have tampered their weighing scales so customers have to pay more money to compensate for the empty flight.
        - this flight flies usually empty with empty seats every time.

        With this whole experience I feel this was a strategy to harass customers make them pay more and make up for the empty seats.

        This is utterly disappointing and the worse customer experience ever. I am filing an official complaint on this channel and would like this to be resolved. For those of you are wondering I had to keep my clothes with a coffee counter with a promise to pick them up jn 2 weeks. I am a frequent traveller to Khajuraho from Delhi, another reason to be disappointed by this crew to treat the customer in this way.

          I bought a ticket from Bangalore to Jharsuguda which was on 14th June 2022 and at Bangalore airport, I paid 3, 300/- rupees via credit card for the extra luggage weight.
          Due to some technical issue, the flight on 14th June got delayed and I was not able to travel on that day so SpiceJet has rescheduled my flight for 15th June (On 15th-June-2022 my luggage weight was under the given limit).
          But on the 14th of June 2022, only I raised the complaint to the SpiceJet helpdesk at Bangalore airport to give me a refund and they said that it will take approx 21 days to initiate the refund and I'll get my refund back to the source of payment(My credit card).

          After that, I also called SpiceJet customer care more than 7 times, and every time I got the same response "We have escalated this to our backend team and they are looking into this. Please wait for the next 21 working days. You will get back your refund."

          I have also written multiple emails to SpiceJet at [protected]@spicejet.com and from there also I have got the same reply.

          Now more than 6 months have passed and still I am waiting for my refund. I have no clue when I'll get my money back.

              We waited in airport for 2 hr. After boarding also, the waiting time was more than 1 hour. The reason for delay was not practical since we waited for he passengers to board from a flight which was already delayed. This might hamper the connecting flights for the passengers in this flight

                  Not refunding amount for cancelled ticket

                  I have booked ticket for my Mother under PNR#PJ7BE for an amount of around INR 15000 which I have to cancel it due to some reasons. As per policy they have deducted cancellation charges of around INR 6000 and balance INR 9000 they have kept under my mother name to be used for future ticket. Now My mother surname got changed and when I am trying to utilize balance amount, system not allowing to use. So I approached customer care of Spice Jet...

                  I was charged twice on 7th Jan for a booking once on my credit card which according to site did not go through due to error in SpiceJet site then on my debit card. Credit card company says amount if credited to SpiceJet but at SpiceJet all I get is our systems down please write to this email that email a case number no call nothing . Worst service no worry about customers . Case number is 10282239

                    Today at 17th January SpiceJet suddenly cancelled flights before 2 hours.

                    SG 2872, January 17, 2023, Mumbai (Terminal 2) - Jabalpur (Terminal 1).

                    When I asked for refund airport staff said they have processed the refund and it should come through email or SMS.

                    It’s been 6 hours since now and no communication has been sent to me regarding...

                    I lost my checked in baggage on 9th January 2033 on my flight from Dubai via Delhi to Bangkok. Even after contacting customer relations of Spicejet no one got back to us. We had the most important items in our bag and no one cares?? This is your customer service? This horrible service has costed us lost of thousands and worst flight experience ever. Where is our bag? It’s lost since more than a week and no one cares to find it and revert back to us?? FIND US OUR BAG.

                    Forget about your bag sir..no one will respond or find your bag.I lost my bag in DEC 2022..i am still begging everyone to give some update.They will say wait for 24hrs, 48hrs, 72hrs...so on months passed.And one great thing is even the Nodal officer or the appeal officer will not respond to your email or they will not pick the call.
                    God knows what scam is going on...iam really frustrated...

                      With reference to the above subject, we wish to state that as follows:
                      We purchased an air ticket for the sector Kochi to Goa on 08.09.2022.
                      We paid by American Express Card ending No. 04006.
                      An amount of Rs.44728/- was charged to our account.
                      The booking was made by Suresh Ragunath on his American Express card.

                      On 2nd Dec 2022, we noticed the same charge under the head spice jet Gurgaon reflected on the Amex statement for Rs.44728/-

                      Again on 27th Dec we noticed another charge again for the same amount under the head Spicejet - bill desk Gurgaon.

                      We request you to correct the mistake and reverse the charges made on.
                      Please note that the amount has been wrongly charged and is also irregular.

                      Also note that we will not be making the payment to the card provider until we receive the same from your end.

                        We have travelled through Spicejet from Delhi to chennai on DEcember 31st 2022 in 6:50PM flight with PNR-KCR6QJ.We have give 4 bags in checkin and received an email on successful checkin.Upon arrival in chennai at 10PM on same day, we found that one bag out of the 4 was not delivered from the airlines.We have raised an complaint at the airport with all the details of the bag.The assistance staff and the help desk staff were very careless in giving any reponse and gets angry if we ask for any update.They say what can we do if your bag is missed.They are asking to wait with patience but no one gives any status update since these 10 days.
                        We got valuable and important clothes in the bag which are very important to us.

                        Note:At delhi airport the executive who took the checkin baggage was not fully educated on the procedure.She pasted wrong checkin details on our boarding pass.When asked she said sorry and said there is no problem with that.
                        We doubt she would have pasted a wrong details on the chekin bag as well.
                        We are really struggling to get any answer from the Spicejet management.They dont respect the customer or have any curtesy towards our situation.They say we are still seraching since 10days.
                        We have escalated to the nodal officer 5 days back.They did not reply at all.

                          Iam Stephy paulose had reschedule my travel on November 6 And My Account was debited by 527Aed but not rescheduled the ticket.
                          Now 2 month finished. Many time I follow up with spice jet line I didn’t get any refund not yet
                          My pnr is RJ58YH
                          I am waiting for 2 months till now i didn't get my refund, this is really bad experience, simply cheating customers

                              I Afsah Manzoor was travelling from delhi to darbhanga on 19th of november 2022 ( flight no. SG8495) seat no 2F which departed at 11:25 am, i was carrying a laptop bag which had a laptop a powerbank and a couple of clothing items in the Spicejet aeroplane and as i was searching for space in the overhead bin the air hostess and some flight attendent told me as there is no space in the overhead bin they will be sending my bag with the main luggage to which i told them no this bag contains a laptop if you put it with the baggage it will be destroyed to which they reassured me that care will be taken and i should not worry, again i told that spicejt attendent wearing a black suit to kindly tell the team that this bag has a laptop in it and asked him to put a fragile tag so nobody tosses it around to which i was again told do not worry nothing will happen to your laptop, then they took the bag and when i received it in darbhanga from the Belt i immediately opened and checked my laptop and it was damaged and i immediately reported it to the spicejet counter, they have given me the following acknowledgement which i am sending u in attachment, i was also told at the darbhanga airport that refund will be sent to my account, kindly give me the full amount of my laptop plus compensation for such carelessness even upon prompting again and again the laptop had all my stuff it in .
                              It’s been more than a month and they did nothing they now are willing to give me a coupon code worth Rs 5000 for breaking my laptop which was almost worth 60K, please help me get my full money back from these cheaters and careless people plus compensation
                              Here is the confirmation that my laptop was broken by the airlines

                                I am an UAE resident. I cancelled my ticket from SpiceJet (PNR-UFNMXD) one month back. I was informed within 20 days I will get the refund of AED 652.40/ after deducting their charges. I waited 20 working days, then also the refund not credited .I made many calls from overseas to customer care and sent multiple emails to all available customer service email IDs, including higher authorities, escalation departments etc.. and I am getting notified with the same reply that the refund is in process, the team is working on it, etc.. It is more than one and half months now. The amount is not yet credited in my account and I have requested to share the reference number(ARN / merchant confirmation number) for checking with my bank if they already processed the refund, but that also not providing by them. It is sad to inform that this is a very bad experience as a customer from the SpiceJet. I was waiting for long time after the cancellation for a refund and it is still going on in a loop without a proper solution.
                                I am waiting for 2 months till now I didn't get refund, this is really bad experience, cheating the customers

                                  Hi,

                                  This is Abhishek shekhar. I am writing this in behalf of my sister Ratna Sinha who supposed to travel on 22nd december from Bangalore to Pune. Flight number is SG 531. Since 21st we were trying to download boarding pass but we were unable to do. So on 22nd she reached the airport early. When she was doing her web check-in, they told that all seats are filled and web check-in already over might be a day before. And they have booked the ticket for the next day.

                                  My 1st que is that is flights have become a general compartment train? If you have already filled the seats on what earth you guys are selling the tickets. She had to attend important client meeting. Because of this bluder she had to reschedule the whole meeting and also had to pay rs 2560/- for travelling expense for both ways. Who will gonna pay this?

                                  I am really fed-up and not leave this issue easily i want the resolution for this and also want full compensation for the travelling expense. I will not ready to pay useless.
