Hi all,
This is to your notice that SpiceJet airlines at IXB station has their own rules. I had a cabin luggage and a backpack where I had carried my laptop. I was asked to weigh both the luggage and pay extra amount of ₹3600/-. I accept the fact that my cabin luggage was 2 kgs extra and I was ready to pay for it but why weigh my laptop bag? I’m a frequent traveler and have never seen such kind of scenario in other stations. When asked to the ground rep.she informed that it’s applicable in all the station, which is completely a wrong statement.
I also saw a ground staff standing at the boarding gate with a weighing scaler and another staff member with a card swiping machine. They were literally weighing the luggage of passengers with two luggage and creating a chaos and havoc to the passengers. This is completely not acceptable if the airlines is looking forward for customer satisfaction.
First, I had to pay extra amount and second the passengers had to face issue at the boarding gate. This is completely not ethical and have not ever seen in any other station throughout India.
Requesting the team to look into this and try to refund my amount which was not applicable for the extra laptop bag.

    Who faced the same issue, read my message.
    I spent 4 months talking to spicejet, but they didn’t do anything.
    At the same time I raised transaction cancellation via my bank support. They made some another request to visa and after a few months bank returned me the money spicejet took. I don’t know how it worked out for me, but my advice to you is to raise the request via your bank, spicejet is just scam who steals money

      I booked spicejet online and funds were charged by them without releasing a valid PNR and even after one month and writing them numerous emails my funds are not released. Let's see how you help to release my funds.

      I spent 4 months trying to get my money back from spicejet

      Raise transaction cancellation via your bank, I don’t know why it worked, but my bank returned me money for this transaction just today. Although it took a few months as well to wait for the approval

        We were 12 members flying from Delhi to Ahmedabad on a SpiceJet flight SG 193 on 12th Feb at 8:30 PM. Our PNR Number is CJ4VFR and WJZLWX.
        When I tried to web check-in around 5:45 PM I came to know the flight had already departed around 1:40 PM. We did not get any intimation from SpiceJet via email, sms, or phone call.

        I called up SpiceJet customer care and they tried to put us in next available flight but they did not have any tickets available for the next 2 days. so I had no choice but to cancel the tickets and get a full refund. They agreed to a full refund and started the process.

        However, because there was no intimation. I had purchased last minute ticket from the airline and it cost me 65000 Rs more than usual.

        This was the carelessness of the airline and I want to file a claim against them.

          I was supposed to be flying out from Dubai to Mumbai on the 18th of December. My flight was initially booked for the 13th of December, however on the 11th of December I made the change in my flight ticket on the Spice Jet website to fly on the 18th of December. I have a credit card charge to confirm this change as well. I checked on the Spice Jet website on the 17th and it said that the flight is on the 13th of December, however I had already PAID for a change in this flight.
          I had to be in Mumbai for some important family issues and the only thing the agents kept telling me was that there's nothing they could do. When I asked for a manager or supervisor they had every excuse available, from no supervisor would be able to help me, to there's no one in the office, to anything they could to keep me from getting on the phone with some sort of manager or supervisor or anyone. I had to buy another ticket last minute and spend a lot of money on a flight.
          When I initially called Spice Jet and spoke to the customer care executive, she said all I would have to do is write an email and you would refund me the money right away. I have been calling Spice Jet almost every single day and all I have been hearing is that it is coming, then someone said that Spice Jet has issued a refund but they can't tell me the amount, then someone else said that they assured me in 24 hours I would get a response to my email saying that I would get a refund but then when I called back they said oh no wait for 72 hours. Every single time I waited, I never got a single response. I have had to call back and explain the situation EVERY single time. They have consistently refused to give any sort of solution to this issue. They've been giving me the run around for 2 months now, and I still haven't gotten anything.
          This is the first time I flew with Spice Jet but I can say with conviction I will NEVER work with Spice Jet again.
          There was not even any communication from Spice Jet regarding this supposed no-show. If someone had contacted me, even sent me an email about this, then at least I would have 5 days to get some sort of solution before I had to fly.
          At this point, I just want a refund from SpiceJet so that I can finally stop dealing with them.

            We were travelling from ahmedabad to Dubai on 4th of Feb by Spicejet SG 15 flight PNR-G8WVGF, which was late by 1 hour and after reaching Dubai, while waiting for the baggage- we received our baggage very late and when we received it, that was completely damaged from one side which made it easy for the items to come out. We lost items in the baggage, and some items are damaged. We have been chasing the [protected]@spicejet.com since then and yet we are not getting a satisfactory response as they are saying, ignoring all the hassles and delays we had to face, that they are not responsible for any of these and that they cannot pay us more than 3000 inr which is not even equivalent to the baggage we have lost. they are making us feel like they are doing some great favor to us that no one has ever received

                    Dear sir or madam

                    Am fed up with spicejet airline's refund process. On 8th jan 2023, i have add an add-on service but the service was not added to the ticket and rs 8997 money was detected from my account.
                    Spicejet booking pnr ydt83g: 08 jan 2023 dubai-kozhikode for mr. Paramel saloman
                    I have raised a complaint regarding this incident but no action has been taken simply in the mail (Our corner team looking).
                    And the worst part of each mail i have to wait 72 hours. Till now i have done 53 emails.
                    One month over still no proper update from their end simply say they have called you regarding this but till now i didn't get any calls.
                    Now i have to pay an extra amount to hdfc bank as the statement generated will spice jet bear that additional amount?
                    I have attached all the details below.
                    So kindly do some need full help

                      Lost baggage
                      I lost my checked in baggage on 10th November 2022 on my flight from Dubai to mumbai . Even after contacting customer relations of Spicejet no one got back to us. We had the most important items in our bag and no one cares?? This is your customer service? This horrible service has costed us lost of thousands and worst flight experience ever. Where is our bag? It’s lost since more than a week and no one cares to find it and revert back to us?? FIND US OUR BAG.

                        Dear Sir/Ma'am,

                        I would like to lodge a complaint against the SpiceJet authorities for the harassment which we had to face on 5th February, 2022 at Pune International Airport. Please find the events which occurred on that day in detail below:

                        1) I had booked two flight tickets from Pune to Kolkata (PNR: QB5SJP/ SG, Booking Ref. No:[protected] for the passenger names, which was scheduled at 5:15 PM. (File Name: SpiceJet Tickets)

                        2) I had received a text message from SpiceJet asking me to come an hour earlier to the airport for check-in. I arrived at 4:15. (File Name: Screenshot_2023_0208_233702)

                        3) Once I went to the airport, there was a queue at the SpiceJet counter, and like any other customer, I was waiting in the queue with my fellow passengers.

                        4) The time my turn came up, it was about 4:40 PM, and we were denied entrance, saying that we were late. I did not understand the man's words as I had followed whatever was asked of me.

                        5) After asking several times, me and my mother were harassed as were heckled out by the SpiceJet staff off the airport, and were instead asked to book the same ticket for the next day.

                        6) To my surprise the next day, the flight took off at 6 PM, a time which was easily achievable the day prior given my time of arrival. (In the File: Screenshot of IMG_20230206_173212, you can see the screenshot of the details of the Image "IMG_20230206_173212", which apparently shows the departure at 4:50 PM, yet we were all standing in the queue at 5:32 PM).

                        I am extremely shocked and disappointed at how SpiceJet treats its customers. I'd like to lodge a formal complaint against the behavior and ask for a rightful refund for my denied journey on 5th February, 2022.

                          Dear SpiceJet,

                          My luggage was badly damaged during a recent flight on your airline, and I have obtain guidance from your Airport staff (Sindu V) for further assistance and help in getting the appropriate compensation. Please help me resolve this situation immediately.

                          On Jan, 4th, 2023, I travelled from Pune Airport to Bangalore Airport on SpiceJet Airlines, Flight SG 532; my PNR/Booking reference number is PDSSCW. I checked in 2 bags at Pune, and arrived promptly to reclaim it at the baggage carousel (Number 6) at the airport in Bangalore. I was shocked at the condition of my 1 big suitcase, my hard shell suitcase was cracked right from midway through the top handle-end of the suitcase. The damage to the suitcase were not typical of routine handling; they were clearly abused and damaged during the flight/offload. It had major crack at 3 places, and made it very difficult for us to finally carry it back home.

                          The current replacement cost of the damaged suitcase (Carlton – Anti-theft zipper polycarbonate, Big size) is approx.. INR 12000/-

                          I have been a loyal customer of SpiceJet Airlines for years and have never had a problem like this. I was very disappointed by this type of service (and damage) from your company. In addition to the reimbursement described above, I also expect that you will speak with the ramp personnel responsible for the damaged condition of my personal property.

                            I have booked an air-ticket on 20th Oct 2022 for the month of December through my Mashreq Bank Credit Card. Due to Spicejet online page error i got a warning message saying that payment was not made yet and to resend it. So i resubmitted the payment form again thinking the amount is not deducted yet and gave credit card details again and i got deduction for 2 times for same PNR No: CIHU4R cost of AED. 1495.40/-.

                              My name is jilu joseph. I have booked a flight on Feb 5th dubai to kochi, flight number Csg 17 which delayed 8 hours without any notice . When we arrived in the airport, the status of the flight had shown as "Open". They don't arrange any temporary accommodation or food facilities for the customer which is nit professional and ethical.

                                I’m travelling from several months an than I arrived in India. After one month on mainland and the last week spent on Andamans Islands, I had a flight from Port Blair to Kolkata and a connection flight from Kolkata to Bangkok.
                                Once arrived in Port Blair Airport, the employees told me that, not having an immigration office there, I had to take my backpack in Kolkata and check-in again.
                                Fine.

                                Arrived in Kolkata and collected my bag at 13.45, I move to SpiceJet desk for the Check-in the flight for Bangkok (SG43) scheduled for h15.45

                                After a long wait in queue, the guy at the desk (you can check the employees’name from my boarding pass issuing time) communicate me that if I would enter in Thailand, I should need to have and show them the Hotel reservation, Health insurance statement and a confirmed flight out of Thailand in one month.
                                I was pretty sure that having an Italian Passport, I didn’t need a VISA for Thailand (up to 45 days) and I tried to explain this to your desk-employee.
                                His answer was just:
                                ‘even for Italians is mandatory!’
                                I asked him several times if he was sure, but he was inamovable.

                                So I said ‘ok let’s check-me in and if I’ll need, I’ll buy a flight ticket at the Visa-office in Bangkok’
                                No way, the clerk didn’t want to let me get the flight without the required documents.

                                At 14.45, with the plane leaving soon, I found my self in the senseless situation to buy an useless flight from Bangkok to Vientiane (that I would never use as I will continue my travel by land to Laos and then to Vietnam) just in order to take my plane for Bangkok!

                                A few hours ago I arrived in Suvarnabhumi Airport and at the Passport control gate, the girl simply told me ‘No Sir, you don’t need anything. As per Italians citizens, you’ve 45-days visa free’ …

                                after many emails, customer service continues to apologize for the delay of the flight…. no refund, no communication from management even in Cc. embarrassing non-management of the problem and indeed, general ignorance, beyond stupidity

                                  With reference to the above subject and PNR no. I would like to bring to your attention that Spice Jet has not refunded the amount since 3 years.
                                  I booked an air ticket with above PNR no. on 28th February 2020 and travel was planned for 17th April 2020 to Kochi and back on 25th April 2020 to Dubai.The flight was cancelled due to pandemic situations and I was eligible for full refund. That didnot happen until now.
                                  Every time I sent an email, they say to wait since the issue is escalated to the higher authorities. I approached customer care, customer relations India and Dubai, Refunds in Spice Jet, Appellate Authority etc. All of them have the same answer and they have no shame in asking customers to wait. It has been 3 years since I am waiting for the refund. Refund of AED 1, 200 is not a big deal for a company like SpiceJet but for me, it is hard earned money.

                                  Please see the latest email from Spicejet on Nov 2022 and the content is the same since years.

                                    I have cancelled my Airticket when SpiceJet rescheduled the flight in Oct 2022.
                                    I have requested for refund to my Bank Account & have been waiting for the last 3 last months to get the refund and there is no proper response

                                    They claiming the funds has been processed & i did not receive any funds in my bank account and I have shared my bank statement to them as a proof.
                                    My concern is why they are not providing transfer/swift copy for a proof, if if processed then, i can cross check with my bank it will be very difficult to track with bank,
                                    if they provide such proof after 6months or 1 year

                                      Hello,

                                      I had a flight from Khajuraho to New Delhi today scheduled at 5:40 pm.
                                      When I reached the counter, the female with the name “Aasna Hashmi” did the worse that she could. She said my baggage is heavy, check in is close sand I have to pay 4, 000₹ (the actual cost of a one person flight) if I need a boarding pass. She did the same thing from the customer who was ahead of me and I saw him paying 6000₹ extra.
                                      - Please note for the same flight, I had traveled with a heavier bag and they took my bag near the plane where the crew is present. With absolutely no hassles.
                                      - On the other scenario, the same flight had accepted me when I reached 30 min prior the scheduled departure time.
                                      - I have also seen MLAs arriving 5 min prior and boarding the flight with no questions asked on check in counter being closed.
                                      - the most shocking part was my bag became completely empty when it weighted 7 kgs, the most shocking part. It felt as if they have tampered their weighing scales so customers have to pay more money to compensate for the empty flight.
                                      - this flight flies usually empty with empty seats every time.

                                      With this whole experience I feel this was a strategy to harass customers make them pay more and make up for the empty seats.

                                      This is utterly disappointing and the worse customer experience ever. I am filing an official complaint on this channel and would like this to be resolved. For those of you are wondering I had to keep my clothes with a coffee counter with a promise to pick them up jn 2 weeks. I am a frequent traveller to Khajuraho from Delhi, another reason to be disappointed by this crew to treat the customer in this way.
