My travel date was on jull'20 with #spicejet and the flight got cancelled due to covid19 situation and i was not able to travel.in return spicejet is not refunding me the amount and have kept the amount in their credit shell which they say i can use in my next travel which is valid till 31st march'21.
Issues
1. My travel for jul didn't happen & all my work was cancelled
2. I don't have any travel plans in near future considering the pandemic situation.
3. Travel period is not even 12 month, if it is in credit shell let it open for me and i can use whenever i want, i. E., more than 1-2 yrs (Many other airlines are doing so)
4. I cannot even change traveler, so it's forcefully i'll have to travel or basically waste my money.
5.in the current pandemic situation where every money is so important for a middle class family they cannot keep my money, this is complete trap and fraud.
What all steps you followed to get the money back as am also facing similar issue, customer support of spice jet has refused to refund the money and I have no plans to travel in next couple of years.
Please assist me in following the right steps, thank you.
