I have booked ticket on 14th march from makemytrip for 8th april travel from kolkata to bangalore flight number - sg-516 - pnr number - zhhmgx. Flight got cancelled due to covid and so far no update on my refund. Makemytrip says contact airline. Spicejet customer care number is waste i waited for almost 20 mins for so many times to talk but didnt connect.
Can anyone please help me on this, else i will lodge formal complain

    Pnr no. P9zevs journey date 23 may 2020. Due to covid-19 lock down flight services are cancelled by government this date. So we request airlines to refund but airlines not refund our money and informed us to use the ticket for some other day till march 2021. But it is not possible for us so we request please refund our money.

    The ministry of civil aviation, india, has directed airlines to give people’s money back for flights cancelled due to coronavirus lockdown. It has also asked the airlines not to levy any charges. Even after these directions, people have been complaining that airlines are not giving full refunds on tickets cancelled in the view of covid-19 outbreak.

      Flight was canceled between bangalore to begavi. Pnr no - gf8s5k
      I called them 4 times and every time they told me that i will get refund in next 24 to 48 hour

        I had booked tickets on 2nd march 2020 to travel from mumbai to amritsar on 7th april 2020 from spicejet airlines. The pnr is pcht9g. I had booked this from my travel agent. Due to the pandemic and the subsequent lockdown i could not travel. Now i asked the airline for refund amounting to rs.16520/- but the airline instead gave me a credit shell for the amount . Now i chatted with spicejet customer service and they refuse to refund the amount. I pleaded with them saying i will definitely not be travelling for the next 2 years. But they were rigid in their policy and refuse to refund the amount. My travel agent says that they can refund the amount only after airline refunds it to them. Surprisingly the return trip from amritsar to mumbai was booked on indigo airlines and they promptly refunded the amount. I desperately need assistance in resolving this.

        Hi,

        What all steps you followed to get the money back as am also facing similar issue, customer support of spice jet has refused to refund the money and I have no plans to travel in next couple of years.

        Please assist me in following the right steps, thank you.

          Our PNR No. LEGKSQ is till date not received full refund this pnr no. Journey date 20 June 2020, this date not operate this flight so we request airlines refund but airlines not refund.Nothing response from them.

            Hi team,

            This is with reference to my pnr no : eh7h8e wherin i have been asked by your good self to pay for the charges of seat.in this regard, would like you t share inputs on the below :

            1. Basis of charges being levied for seat selection
            2.in a row of 6 seat, why only the middle seats are free where as all the other seats are chargeable
            3. Why are we not been given boarding pass when we have asked for the same. The representative are asking us to wait for 12 hours before the flight departure and are of the opinion that if we pay for the seat we will get boarding pass now or else we will have to wait till 12 hours before flight departure.
            4. I believe this is a new loot process by which spice jet loot customer i. E customer has to pay for the price of the ticket and also for seat selection. I believe when the whole world is fighting the pandemic spicejet should also have some sense of responsibility towards its customer.

              In january we have a flight from jaipur to shirdi and then to jaipur on 13th jan 2019 we go shirdi by flight then on 14th jan 2019 we have return ticket but flight was cancelled. Then they give us time on 15th jan 2019 but flight was cancel then we return by bus and our money was not return yet.
              So, please return our money to us.

                      Pnr xe6zpt. I am totally disapointed with spice jet airline. I have connected flights dharmshalla to guhati indigo shedule change giving full refund to me. And i call spice jet for enquiry for cancellation charge and i request full refund eligible but your executive inform me if time change or shedule change then you full refund applicable i request for full refund but your executive without inform me cancelled the flight and i also inform i not to pay cancelation charges then why your company canceled the flight and now i want full refund raise a complaint and take action if my problem no solve i do legal action

                          Hi, iam jasmine wanted to travel from hyderabad to bangalore on 8th august 2020. Pnr number of booked flight. Bcc14d seat no. 3b. As one of you staff from samshabad airport name. Gunjan miss guided regarding flight shield, which make me to miss my flight and miss guided me to reschedule and made me to wait for around 3 hours. Which made me to miss my other flights which are available earlier. This is my first journey through flight i was totally upset because of spicejet for which i missed my flight and delayed my journey and made me to book other ticket for 3400 from other airlines. Worth rupies around 3081 ticket price is lost for spicejet ticket. Please consider this as a serious as person traveling for the first time will not aware regarding rules like need to reach 1 hour early but people will follow according to message notification.

                            I had booked the above stated ticket from Chennai to Mumbai (travel date 01/06/2020) through Paytm on 22/05/2020 vide booking ID [protected], as the flight got cancelled at last moment by "Spicejet" because of LOCKDOWN, I had requested them for refund of my money.                               I got a call from[protected]this number. Her name is himani. Hr of airlines. She asked me 2000 for my reference id to proceed with application test. She told it's a refundable if you are not selected or selected both catagory. Again she asked 5000 for verification of documents. I refused and asked for 2000 refund. She told that she will get back to me. She is not answering the calls and blocked my number too. This is a criminal offence. I need my 2000. Please recover my money.

                                Further to my complain of the 9th regarding refund. Pnr:- e5q9gy
                                I received a call from a ‭+[protected]‬ at 11.47 am from a man stating he was calling from spicejet and it was regarding the refund. Without asking me for any details of my travel booking or even my name he straight away asked me how i had made the booking whether it was via debit / credit card. When i told him it was a credit card he asked me for my cc no. And that too he wanted the whole no. Not the last four digits, which of course u refused to disclose. He further told me that if i didn’t want to gv him the details, i need to speak to customer care. He sounded absolutely rude and on asking him for his name, he pretended as if he could not hear me and hung up. What surprises me was that he didn’t ask me for the pnr or booking reference. He directly asked me for my credit card details. 😳😳

                                  My flight with spicejet on 10th april 2020 and 25th april 2020 was cancelled because of covid 19 lockdown... I first requested for the refund on 10th of june, they said it will be processed within 7-10 days, so i followed up and they again told me 7-10 and this way their tat for the refund kept changing and now it's more than 2 months since i filed the initial request and i am yet to receive my refund

                                    I had made a booking for my husband vide pnr e5q9gy by through via.com ref fmnla3ap7ph3b. After writing a few emails and calls to spicejet for a refund, i received a mail from spicejet that they have already given the refund to an agency travel boutique online and that i should contact them. What i fail to understand is that why my refund was given to travel boutique online instead of via.com.
                                    I have no idea how to contact travel boutique. Also i have sent several mails to via.com but have not received any reply from them. Enclosing copy of ticket booked by via.com and mail from spicejet which states that the refund is done to travel boutique online.

                                      I have been charged extra in the name of extra baggage. your customer care is also not sure for what i have been charged. once they said it will be refundable then they said its for extra baggage that i didnt had, and thn they said its booking charge(that is illegal to charge extra booking amount).

                                        My travel date was on jull'20 with #spicejet and the flight got cancelled due to covid19 situation and i was not able to travel.in return spicejet is not refunding me the amount and have kept the amount in their credit shell which they say i can use in my next travel which is valid till 31st march'21.
                                        Issues
                                        1. My travel for jul didn't happen & all my work was cancelled
                                        2. I don't have any travel plans in near future considering the pandemic situation.
                                        3. Travel period is not even 12 month, if it is in credit shell let it open for me and i can use whenever i want, i. E., more than 1-2 yrs (Many other airlines are doing so)
                                        4. I cannot even change traveler, so it's forcefully i'll have to travel or basically waste my money.
                                        5.in the current pandemic situation where every money is so important for a middle class family they cannot keep my money, this is complete trap and fraud.
