Dear sir/madam,

I am here to complain about the services by spicejet. Though the world is suffering from covid-19, the travel ban is being imposed in almost every country. Spice jet is not providing any assistance moreover they are making money by not waiving cancellation fees.

I booked tickets from spicejet for hyderabad to muscat via ahmedabad dated 19/3/2020
Pnr hpg5pp for 3 passengers (1 adult 2 children)

On 17th march, oman has imposed a travel ban on foreigners specifically on those who are traveling on visit visa. I was visiting oman on the above date and now due to this news, there is a travel ban on me and my children.

Midnite 18th march i tried to contact spicejet customer care after waiting for 27 minutes i had a chance to speak to their executive. I was informed by their executive that the airlines give a one-month rescheduling period without any charges and fee would be charged on cancellation.

To avoid cancellation fee i decided to reschedule the booking in the fee waiver period i. E. Any date in april. The executive informed me that there is no availability of flights for the entire month of april

Eventually forcing me to cancel my bookings. So that spicejet can make money out of it. Already we all are in a panic due to the outbreak of coronavirus on that this kind of service and assistance from spicejet.

Moreover other airlines like go air, indigo, air india and many more are waiving off both rescheduling and cancellation fees for their customers.

Because rescheduling is not available i am asking for a refund which has been denied by spicejet

Kindly help out us there are many passengers dealing with this inflexible behavior of spicejet.

    Sir, I have an tickets for port Blair on 20th March & return tickets on 26 th March.
    Due to government's ban on tourism, we have to cancel the flight . But they didn't give us full money as refund. They barely give us 1/3 Rd of total Money.
    Please help me..

      My Spicejet flight PNR number is Z5J9UB.
      I have Booked for Ahmedabad to Dubai with return ticket from Spicejet.

      Now due to CORONA effect In Dubai and Abu Dhabi most travel places are closed by their government.

      Also our indian government message us to avoid travel.
      ( Indian citizens are advised to avoid travel to other COVID-19 affected countries (available on www.who.int).

      So I request you to reschedule my tickets in November 2020.( 14th November - 22nd November).

      I had visited yesterday at Spicejet Ahmedabad Airport Office.There they told me reshedule up to April End. But in this Corona effect Condition how can I travel with my family in Dubai.So I request them to Reschedule booking in November.

      But they were not Agree. And Also if I am cancel my tickets than I get only 50% Money.Already my VISA fees are also going in to Loss.

      So please request you to reschedule my tickets in the month of November.14th November - 22nd November). OR to Refund my tickets Amount 100%.

      Called and asked me to pay 2500 which will be refunded on 1st salary to start the selection process now they are demanding more 7500 for security purpose .
      It is a fake offer I wish I could get my money 2500 refunded .

        I had my ticket booked in spice jet for andaman on 25 march and return on 31 march. But i want to postpone my flight ticket to and fro for andaman from 24 november due to corona virus. Please help as the airline company is saying that it will not return my money and i will have to pay 20000 more for rescheduing..
        I am totally frustrated as why should i pay as this is a medical emergency declared by govt. Of india

          I was charged a lot of money for some extra hand baggage despite the allowance for 15 kg check in baggage which was entirely unused. They said my laptop adds to the weight and i would have to pay extra. This has never happened before with any other airline. Spicejet is just too desperate to make extra money with these cheap tactics. I expect a refund of this inappropriately charged money.

            I have booked tickets for shirdi hyderabad section for 18march 2020 wherein my father which is a senior citizen and my 2 children were supposed to travel i have requested the airline to cancell our ticket as there is a high risk of infection of corona virus the airline is not able to commit to us that we will be safe and is also not willing to give a refund for our tickets. As the government is saying to avoid unnecessary travels the airlines are not supporting them and are forcing us to travel by not cooperating with us not giving us a refund and also saying that it is safe to travel. Request you please look in to the matter

              Travelled in madurai - mumbai flight on 13.03.2020 (Sg6379). At mumbai (1800 hrs) couldn't find my check in luggage from the belt no.2. No spice jet representative was available during the period of luggage transfer in to the belt. After long waiting, and searching one person reported, complaint registered (Bomsg2025427m). Latter after reaching home at thane 2150 hrs received message that some other passenger taken away your luggage by mistake and he has handed over the same to airlines, come & collect now or it will be taken to custody. They have not allowed me to talk to their superior officer (Number not given). Hesitating to deliver the item to my home address & rudely insisting me to come & collect from their office at international airport.

                Misbehave, threatening of cancellation of boarding pass and ticketand forced to pay rs 2000 extra by check incounter supervisor
                Check in counter did not accepted self generated boarding pass by machine. When asked about carrying botteles of whiskeys brought from abu dhabi free duty shop, they permitted that you can carry with hand baggage. When checked in they objected to carry in hand baggage and took me out of check in area. The supervisor of check in counter threaten me and misbehaved by saying that he can cancel my ticket.

                  I was booking ticket on 11 feb 2020 from spicejet.com from goa to mumbai for the travel on 9th feb 2015. While doing that the amount got deducted from my icici account, but while returning back to the spicejet site, there was some error on the portal. As a result the ticket was not booked. I got the message from my bank (Sms and email) regarding the amount deduction (Rs 998) but i didn't get any confirmation regarding the spicejet site. Then i got suspicious and called the customer center. I gave him the details about the payment and waiting to hear back from spicejet.                     Due to human error, my name on ticket was entered as shalini singh instead of shalini jadhav. Singh was my maiden name and since traveling with my family erroneously entered singh along with mom and niece name. Am traveling now and there is no network still following up and the lady i spoke to sometime back needs some training to have sympathy and understand the customer. She was not even allowing me to speak and had pit me on hold for almost 10mins without any intimation in between that its taking time.
                    Reason am very upset with spicejet is that same error done with indigo for traveling to jammu but they validated and corrected in 24 hours but spicejet has no humanity and even after 48 hours is relaxing to wait till last minute and then inform.
                    Pathetic service and will ensure compliant cellgoes to social media and consumer

                      I have booked flight with from patna to hyderabad but due to sudden outbreak of coronavirus cases approx 90 cases in last 24 hours, i have grown concern about the disease. Moreover saudi arabia has also closed their borders and people are being returned to hyderabad which adds to the issue. Since this is a global epidemic and proper measure for screening aren't been taken in india.
                      I expect that you would understand the gravity and refund me the amount for the flight.

                          Hi,

                          I am writing this letter as i have been harassed mentally badly by spicejet customer care. I have been reaching them out for around 10 days now for a simple refund of rs4000 which i deserve but they have not responded effectively and communication is going in circles.

                          The same thing happened with me when i requested cancellation to the airlines on 6th jan 2020.

                          Here is my issue

                          1) i initiated cancellation of flights with pnr: - ayjzkj/z7kjsy from delhi to shirdi and back on 6th jan on spicejet customer care which was not processed on that day due to delay on their side
                          2) processing was done when i called them again on 7 jan.
                          3) i am not asking for anything which i do not deserve.
                          4) cancellation charges are 3000 per pax per side if done before 96 hours
                          5) i initiated cancellation on 6th jan 2020 but spicejet didnt responded and cancellation was done on 7th jan 2020 with cancellation charged at 3500 per pax perside.
                          6) please refund amount of rs4000 (There were 4 passengers) back to source.
                          7) now again spicejet is not listening and is putting every communication in circles and throwing everything on travel agency
                          8) i have been a spicejet customer for long but after facing such harassment, i cant-even think of travelling or recommending spicejet.
                          I have done cancellation with indigo/goair/airindia ut i have never felt so much harassment there.
                          9) again please refund back the amount 4* (500+500)= 4000 back to source. I am asking refund of amount which i deserve

                            During my airtavel on 17.02.2020 from ahmedabad to jammu, my luggage bag worth of inr 7000 was completely damaged and i have filed complaint at jammu airport.

                            Complaint reference number is - ixjsg2005171d. I have been assured for the reimbursement within 48 hours and i have still not received any compensation though the same was confirmation by customer care through call.

                              Dear sir/madam,

                              We'd been denied a boarding right by the spicejet officer for the manglore to mumbai flight (No. Sg 6250), pnr no. Qfng4k dated 29/01/2020.

                              This has caused us a huge mental & physical agony and loss of our precious business hours. They have booked for us next days flight and made an arrangement for us in a lounge of manglore airport and forced us to sleep on the floor in a 18 degree ac temperature without any warm clothes.. My colleague who was with me is a sr. Citizen couldn't able to take his night and morning doses of prescribed medicines because of denying our boarding rights inspite of our confirm tickets.

                              We'd demanded from them a compensation from them of rs. 10k per persons but they are offering us peanuts of rs. 3, 800/- only. It is mockery of customers discomfort and physical and mental agony... Caused by them.

                              Their officer who was on duty had assured us that, they'll compensate us with rs. 10k per head but, now they are denying it too.

                              The spice jet is deliberately overlooking the customers suffering and not offering them a right kind of compensation. A very sorry state of affair of spice jet with an insensitivity towards their passengers.

                              Hope, this forum will help us to get us a maximum compensation for our suffering and mental and physical agony.

                                My flight was at 6.55 am on 27.2.20 got stuck in jam. I reached the airport and was behind a long queue.. I reached the check in counter at 6.08 am but still they did not permitted me to take the flight nor provided me another flight. I am a student and was travelling alone they were rude and did not helped me in any manner. There was ample time if they will they could have helped me with it. Worst airline. Next will never book its ticket.

                                    I had booked my tickets along with my two infants of 1 year and my mother from benagluru to jodhpur via delhi on dec 23, 2019 for the date feb 23, 2020. On scheduled date, at 1230 hours we reached delhi airport for our next flight at 1425 hours. Till 1400 hours, there was no information regarding the flight. And then all of a sudden, we passengers were informed that the flight has been cancelled. Firstly, the reason was bad weather. Later on, they changed the reason to technical problem in aircraft. But the actual reason was insufficent number of passengers to make apt profit to the company, which they hid. Staff was so inhuman, insensitive that my two infants were crying and getting irritated but they had no solution for us till evening 5:30. They were making us fools by giving silly excuses and fruitless temptations. Finally they booked a cab for us and let us go via road without any note of refunding the booking charges. They made us sign a letter regarding not to claim any fund, to which we had no option.

                                    Whole night we travelled via road with two infants. It was a nightmare. Such a horrible journey. The worst ever one can imagine. Disastrous.

                                    I pray to god to happen the same with the company authorities and their family. Then i ask them how was it?

                                    I never ever suggest to travel through spicejet. Just because o[censored]r profit making policy, u can cause such a high level inconvenience to the customers!!! Fear from god. He is seeing all.
                                    Shameful. Hell. Shame. Shame. Shame.

                                    I cried a lot but only in my heart and not let the tears out of my eye. I cursed the moment i booked the tickets in spicejet! Can never forgive the one who is responsible for all this. Just money makingminds. O person! Fear from god! Where will all this ur money go when u will be ailed, when no one will be with u, when u will fail in relationship, when u will be in bed suffering and no one to care for u.
                                    Curse. Curse a lot.

                                      Hi, booked return connecting flights from delhi/mangalur from the uk. Booking ref h81vus. This included spicemax, booked seats and excess baggage. This was on 14/02/20. I received an email and then a phone call from you to say that the payment had not been processed. The very helpful gentleman took me through the booking and a payment was processed. I failed to notice that the spicemax package was not included in the revised booking q9l7vc. This meant that we had no food during our journey.
                                      Otherwise our flights and crew were excellent!

                                        My baggage did not make it to goa until 2 days after i arrived, i had to go back to the airport which was 1 hour away from where i was staying to receive my baggage only to open it up and see that a large bag of silver and gold jewelry i bought was missing. Customer service is awful they don’t do anything to compensate for me having no bag for 2 days with 2, 000 + usd dollars of items stolen from me. This is by far the worst experience with any airline i’ve ever had.
