The baggage was little over the limit with 0 hang baggage. Then decided to take out few clothes from the bag to match the limit, but was not allowed to and was charged 2000 rs for the same. Having boarded the plane huge bags were brought in by the fellow passangers which would not even fit in the overhead, their luggage was not charged and was accomadated easily!
This is not acceptable if someone is being charged and not allowed to do something then the rest should also be allowed to do so!

    I have made a tickt with two passenges my mother and my brother from paytm. Bt due to some prblm my mother was not able to come so i csncelled her tickt. I got mail messages nd new generated ticket on the name of my brother. Bt at the airport airline deinied nd said his ticket is csncelled instead of my mother. Nd no one took response nd he has to left his flight nd made another tivkt of 15000. No one is taking respinse tiwards this. Even they got another tickt of his name bt said hos tickt is cancelled not my mother. Paytm is saying its airlines falult nd airlines is saying its paytm fault

      Its such a shame, your company spice jet has such a pooling service and do not ward loyalty points for passenger travelling.
      the terms and condition are so strict that if someone forgets to put a coma or full stop you do not award loyalty points.

        Dear Sir/Ma'am,

        As a frequent customer of yours I’m writing in regards to a very distasteful experience I had with your airlines. I booked a business class ticket from Kolkata to New Delhi at full fare, on 18th June, 2019, and the following are my booking details:

        Flight no. SG264
        Departure Time: 8:45 pm
        Arrival time: 11:20 pm
        Booking date: Mon, 17th June, 2019

        It’s also worth mentioning that I am 61 years old, a senior citizen. My seat was assigned in business class, at 1C. Unfortunately, I was placed in a defective seat, with mechanical problems. The assigned seat had the following problems, which were discovered throughout the flight, and unable to be resolved by the flight cabin attendants:

        - The foot rest was already elevated and the button was malfunctioned to put it back down
        - The lumbar cushion of the seat was protruding out and did not go back down
        - Seat was shaking throughout the flight

        You can imagine what terrible amount of discomfort I had during those two hours. Due to the combination of these problems, I was not able to sit properly throughout the flight, let alone enjoy the benefits of buying a business class ticket. This is totally uncalled for and a clear case of derogatory negligence on the part of Spice Jet employees.

        I would also like to mention that there was no single seat available in business class, and this was, I presume, due to the fact that your airline upgraded the economy class passengers to business class due to over booking or to make more money at the cost of discomfort and misery of a senior citizen like me.

        I understand that the aircraft had come from Delhi or some other sector where the defect in this chair must have come to the notice of the cabin attendants. But inspite of that, due to negligence and carelessness, the same defective seat was assigned to me. The cabin crew tried helping me throughout the flight but was unable to do anything regarding the same. They apologised and agreed that it was a mistake on their part, that I had to go through such a horrific incident. Spice Jet spends so much money for your newly introduced business class and how dare you can give such defective service to your business class passenger.

        I would like to request for the following, so that the compensation pinches the management of Spice Jet and they do not dare commit such a deed of derogatory negligence in the future:
        a. Full refund of my ticket fare
        b. A compensation of Rs. 5 lakhs for my discomfort and back pain.

        It shall not be out of place to mention that, after I got off the flight, I went towards your counter to complain about the same. One of the airline staff was sitting there and informed me that, the senior executives are busy and will call me in 10-15 minutes. Hence, I gave my card to him, so that he could revert back. But I have not received any response, showing that how careless and stubborn is the spice jet employees are and hence I’m writing this letter to you.

        I seek your explanation on the matter as I have some doubts for whether these mechanical problems were known in advance to Spice Jet. It was a disappointing experience when paying a premium amount to travel in Business Class.

        I await your review and feedback on this matter. Please feel free to call me. So I request you to kindly refund a cheque of my full fare of the ticket and the compensation of Rs. 5 lakhs along with an apology from spice jet. Failing which, I will be compelled to take the legal route.

          Vikas hemnani booking tkt on 12 jun from mmt for spicejet airlines from del to bangalore for 3 person for 23 jun 11:50 am flight but as soon i reached airport for chk in i was told that ur tkts has been canceled yesterday on spicejet airlines yesterday ie on 22 jun 7:16 pm and i was shocked to know that with no intimation on mail or number with that we argued and again i have to purchase a new tkt with rs 34845/- for the same flight
          But the point is that they issued us the new tkt with the same pnr and as we spoke to mmt regarding this they said that only spicejet has the authority to cancel
          This is totally a fraud airline that first they canceled the tkt and again they wnted to customer to purchase the tkt on higher price
          I wanted to sue this airline for this type of fraud case
          I wanted the detailed information abt who and from where my tkt was canceled with ip address
          I request u to plz help us to solve this matter asap and wanted ur refund amt back

            I got a call from the hr of regarding interview. I also started attending, 1st round he asked for registration 2k, 2nd round he asked 6200, for medical verification he asked 13500, but he was giving me the invoice for the payment made. He said training will be in mumbai or chennai, we should be in the office accommodation, for the confirmation he asked 23500. But i didn't pay the last amount. Their was no face to face interview, the interview was only on the call. I don't know whether the documents sent by them is true or fake. The time period give to me to make payment is :30 - 1:00 hour. Now i mean asking for refund but they are not ready to give me refund

                  My name is deepak siddiah, i am from bangalore and i am a non resident indian since 2008 and frequently traveling in and out of india and never experienced this kind of a situation before.

                  I believe you people definitely have to work on the customer service and ethics of the hospitality industry.

                  Kindly go through the attachment i have booked an one way flight to uae for 16th of march on 15th through happyeasy go website, which was routed through some recognized e-commerce website, the payment was taken from me and they made me wait untill next morning and then sent an email (Attached screenshot of the email) telling my tickets are cancelled due to hike in fares from the airlines (Spice jet). They have said this in writing so i have a proof.

                  Was devastated since i had to report to the work on 17th morning march 2019.

                  I had to travel at any cost, so tried calling few travel agents but they wanted me to travel to them and gave me unbelievable prices, so decided to try myself and went on goibibo website and found the same ticket which i had booked earlier which spice jet cancelled, i booked the same ticket with not much difference of a price at 3pm and it's 2 hours to airport from the place i live, so i rushed since i have to make it before 18.00 there, after all the struggle i had made it to airport at 18.25 has i reach the check-in que it was 18.39 is this considered no show, by the time i reached the lady for the checkin it was 18.48. And she asked what time was my flight and i mentioned 19.15 then she looks at her manager in akword way and asks shruthy she calls herself a manager that night. I don't know what she says and the check in lady comes up saying the gates are already closed this took another 5 minutes of my time for some reason i have feeling they intentionally wasted more time to make my status no show and i never heard any final cal as i was in the queue. So ms shruthy provided me with the best customer service by repeating same thing that gates were closed and never wanted to hear anything from me, i requested that i had to report to work and more over it's a domestic flight to mangalore where the flight had four and hour layover before traveling to dubai. I mentioned this when she said it was an international flight and u should be before 45 minutes. I told her i was there about 42 minutes before and she then again became mute.

                  I have been writing to goibibo on this for long time now, they are saying airlines have mentioned no show and can't provide the cancellation, and i don't know weather airlines are doing this intentionally to maximize there profit, may be you never no! But i know for sure many people are struggling in the airport and people like shruthy who are appointed for customer service representative.

                    Travelled in sg84 on 17 jun 19. Felt chilly cold and requested for a blanket. They refused my several requests at all levels on board but provided to another passenger of my status. I complained to the customer care and nodal officer but they tried to save the staff and given absurd reasons for justification. Thinking to go to consumer forum. The company was so inhuman and did not bother to see the comfort of a sixty year old man.

                      I bought an item in duty free shop, they gave a free briefcase. I asked the shop, whether they allow this extra bag. They told as a policy anything bought in duty free should be allowed. But, while boarding spicejet flight, they asked me to throw the bag and in fact threatened, me to pay over weight fee. This is first time, i come across this type of arrogance by an airline staff.

                        We were travelling in spicejet from dubai to madurai while the worst incident in our life happened my mom was false complaint as a smoker despite having a gallbladder surgery and the mother of two children the air hostesses were very rude and they did not check others properly we do not want to make this a big issue but please send us a reply with an apology letter as soon as possible or we will not even hesitate to complain on your company
                        Traveling Date 15june2019 lose baggage, Jed to Hyd . SG-34, contacted the responsible person but no response from 5 Days . One of the worst airlines ever travelled.

                              I had booked a round ticket for my trip Mumbai to kochi I was allowed a baggage allowance of 15+7kgs initially
                              But for the same ticket back to Mumbai I was allowed only 7 kgs I assured him I had allowed 21 kgs previously this incident took place on[protected] for flight time SJ 6475 Boarding at 5.30 from kochi ### (angamaly ) airport
                              The, MANAGER was a very fat guy who just annoyed the issue saying he's supposed to listen to the staff and he dont know anything .

                              The spicejet staff can learn to be cooperative rather to be amateur I have paid money for baggage but not allowed to travel with the same

                                    The airline refused to switch on the air conditioner on a full flight, until the flight was fully airborne for 5-10minutes. This happened in chennai domestic airport. Almost every passenger requested to switch it on.

                                    Is this some major cost cutting by the airlines?
                                    I paid for this flight! We expect some standard to be maintained as a customer.

                                      My daughter was denied to enter at bagdogra airport by the security personnel despite showing her pnr no. U8gfks for sg-3322 on 22/06/2019 and her id proof. He insisted to show details of ticket sent in email.
                                      The email was inadvrently deleted from her smart phone.
                                      She had tried to find out the staffs of spice jet
                                      Deployed at bagdogra airport for assistance but no one availed. Counter of airline also found closed.
                                      I have also contacted spice jet help line for assistance but they turned down my request on the grounds that they have no any contact number of the staffs deployed at bagdogra airport.
                                      It is outmost duty of ground level crew or staffs to contact the traveler if she failed to turn up 45 minutes before the departure of flight. But no such call received.
                                      My daughter has an entrance exam tomorrow in kolhapur. At last, i compelled to book 2;45 pm flight of go air bounding to kolkata.
                                      What would be your next course of steps against my grievances before lodging compliant to the consumer forum concerned.

                                        On June 18, 2019, I Rahul Malik took flight from New Delhi to Bangkok, flight number SG253 (DEL-CCU) & SG83 (CCU-BKK). It was a connecting flight. During the course of the trip, my checked luggage was damaged beyond repair.

                                        This is unacceptable. I would like to lodge a formal complaint concerning the unprofessional behavior of your baggage handlers, and to request full compensation for the luggage that was destroyed. I am listing the luggage that was damaged during the flight, along with its approximate market value.

                                        Black color suitcase (8000 INR)

                                        I have already lodged a complaint via email to spicejet customer care but have not received a reply yet.
