I had closed the card within couple of months from the date i received it. However, on the portal there is a history of 14 months while the card was closed. All the entries are either "xxx" or "000" but my question is why was the card active till then even when i closed it. What if someone was using the card number somewhere and why wasnt it raised to me or informed to me that the card is still active even after the closure.

    Description:from bank customer care they told me that whenever you buy things from credit card the annual fee would be refunded. But they now telling that its not possible. I have call recorded on that with me.
    Before that also they have told me same things you can check with there database with such recording. Now they telling 90, 000 if you spend than it will be refunded. But they have not inform me or they have not sent me any mail regarding such thing. Even when i have raised complain the issue will be sorted out with in 90 days, such a long days.
    I have attached recording for the same.
    Other recording is with then where they told (If you buy anything refund will be done) which is not with me right now.
    Please do needful things.

    I have made wrong payment 2000 in standard chartered bank account by mistake through phonepe application.so could you please get back to my account.

      standard chartered credit card works with wrong cvv

      Hi,

      I have standard charted credit card.

      I was trying to make a payment on airtel app for recharge and i entered wrong cvv by mistake. The transaction was successful.

      I tried the same again for my uber payment and i entered wrong cvv on purpose, the transaction succeeded.

      This is a serious issue and i have lost all the trust with the sc bank.

        All of a sudden they created an Instabuys card account without my consent and started showing the transaction in both accounts.I had converted an amount in 3 EMIs andstarted getting Lae charges+additional interest charges despite of ontime payment.Moreover the funniest part is (a) you can't pay EMI using the Instabuys card number though are mentioning and refering to this account all the time (b) they expect you to call them after payment and intimate them that with your due permission they can transfer the amount from primary card account to Instabuys account.What a policy to iiritate customer.I had to pay the outstanding amount for 2nd EMI otherwise they will again impose the same late charges and addl interest.However the same story happened this time also.Payment is lying in my primary card account and the amount is still showing as due.I want justice and also the additional charges what they have imposed on me in unethical manner.I have already fed up with writing to them[customer care, Head-customer care and Country Retail Head] also.But all in vein.They are blackmailing the customers in this way.

          I am holding credit card of standard charted bank from last 3 years.
          From last six months i have observed that they are not sending me card statement or sms for payment due details.
          Then once due date is over i get a call from scb for due payment which i immediately pays whatever minimum amount is communicated with me.
          I have called their call center to check on sms and email service where i come to know they have stopped all services.
          I requested them to start those and they have agreed to start intimation services but till date it is not started.

            Dear sir,

            Reference to credit card ending 2751.
            This is to inform that i have paid rs. 32923/-
            On 25th october, 2019 against my payment due 30.10.2019. Cheque clear through clearing on 31.10.2019 from my account, state bànk of india. Complaint was lodged in 2.11.19.
            I have surprise to see the interest and late fee charges in the november 2019 statement.
            May i know the reason for the above charges
            I have talked to call centre in this regard but they are helpless and not able to give appropriate reply.

            I request you to check the same and revert back the above charges.

              Respected Sir,

              I got a whatsapp call from one person name called Ajay on 02/09/2019 spoke to me that, he will help me on assisting online dating service registration. He said the registration service took only Rs 25/-. He also asked me to share my Credit card Details like card number, ccv, expired date etc. He asked me to install an app called mightytext app which I will get member details on the app. once I installed mightytext app, i got message notification as activated. The next moment of seconds I got SMS message as Rs 40, 000(Yesbank credit card) and Rs 20, 000(Standard charted Credit Card) were swiped without giving the OTP of the Both the transations. When I tried to reach the person Ajay he was not reachable. Immediately I uninstalled the mightytext app. After that I called both the customer care number and requested to block my cards. I have registered online Police compliant no# BAO19081104 on 02/09/2019. I Request you please help me to revert back the unauthorized transaction amount of Rs 60000.

              My account in Pune main branch is frozen since 11 pm yesterday (2 Nov) . No intimation has been made for the reason behind this and I am unable to move my money out of the account via online transactions.
              UPI transaction cannot be done.IT replying as that the bank cannot redpond.so please take necessary action. Thank you

                Today 25, 000 inr was deducted from my savings salary account and it was through wish.com usa.. I don't recognise this charge + there was no otp msg or email alert for this transaction.. Not sure how i can trust this bank again.. I filed a complaint and marked the charge as fraud via call and they asked me to wait until 5 nov 2019..
                Upon calling i asked the lady over the call to check how this charge was done and she did not had any idea.. Its an online purchase so why there was no otp asked.. I'll be filing a case regarding this as well in the court.

                  I am staying in bangalore i have used my standard chartered credit card on aug 23rd in bangalore 2.20 after 10 mins later i have received message regarding transaction done in us for 72 dollars used my credit card i have reported the same to bank and blocked my card. But bank is asking to repay the amount.

                      Address change request:

                      I have submitted a voter card document which i requested to add in my profile but the same is not acceptable for address change.
                      So again i tried with passport proof it’s accepted for add in to my profile but not accepted for the address change request.
                      Every time i got rejection message which is your proof document is not valid.

                      Reason for address change is, i just moved to my permanent address, so i need to update the residential and permanent address to be same.

                      Note: i have resubmitted the request with voter card and passport kindly please change my residentially address and permanent address are same.

                        I had a Credit Card a long while ago, which had been closed 10 years back(Can't remember the exact date). Unfortunately, I have noticed that every month Rs.150 being deducted though the credit card is already disclosed!

                        Kindly assist and help in providing the exact details and current status why Rs.150 being due every month?

                          This is in reference to my last transaction regarding flight booking at agoda. My basic question to rbi - we are living in an era of online banking and the main focus nowadays is authenticity of the transaction, i. E. Otp generation in order to confirm that the transaction isn’t fraudulent, then how can the life cycle of a financial transaction be completed without an otp being generated? In this era of digital banking how is rbi/government entities (Ministry of it) allowing apps/websites to run transactions without having 3d security concept in place, i. E. Allowing transactions to flow free once the card details are mentioned. This means that for example one loses their debit/credit card, so till the time the person informs the bank regarding the loss, financial transactions can be carried out for any amount at such websites, since there is no cyber security in place for it. These kind of websites should be blocked/ shouldn’t be operational until they ply with the norms of rbi/government of india. I believe this is the basic duty of ministry of it, to restrict the usage of these websites/apps which don’t meet the minimum requirements of cyber security.

                          Last night post this transaction, i had been trying to get in touch with standard chartered team - i had to wait on the customer care number for more than 30 mins, but couldn’t get through any customer agent. Later after approximately an hour natarajan & somashekhar called from the bank and i asked the same question to them however they didn’t have a convincing answer to my query and are just trying to get off the basic duty of the bank stating that we can’t cancel or revert this transaction right away and you need to get in touch with the merchant. Another basic question – will a merchant revert any transaction which has been credited to their account. The answer is no and they in turn are wanting the bank to help me with this transaction.

                          I am highly disappointed with the poor customer service from standard chartered because of which i am raising this complaint with rbi to look into my plea of returning the money to my account asap and ensuring that proper cyber security needs to be in place for all the apps and websites that are running for the citizens of india, such that they aren’t cheated/ face any fraud like i am facing.

                            A] as per scb's statement dated 20/06/19 rs. 72, 359.26 was payable by 08/07/19.
                            Cheque of rs. 72, 359.26 was deposited in scb branch on 08/07/19 ie. Within the due date.
                            Despite this interest of rs. 6, 257.66 plus 18% gst rs. 563.19 + rs. 563.19 was levied on 20/07/19.
                            Scb has to reverse this incorrect charge of rs. 7, 384.04

                            B] as per scb's statement dated 21/07/19 rs. 1, 15, 242.90 was payable by 08/07/19.
                            Rs. 1, 15, 242.90 was transferred via neft on 07/08/19 ie. Within the due date.
                            Despite this interest of rs. 2, 164.22 plus 18% gst rs. 194.78 + rs. 194.78 was levied on 20/08/19.
                            Scb has to reverse this incorrect charge of rs. 2, 553.78

                            The total amount to be reversed is rs. 9, 937.82 [rs. 7, 384.04 + rs. 2, 553.78]

                              With reference to wrong billing to the tune of rs 9176, 61 as interest +gst+sgst since april 2019, i wish to submit the following:
                              The bank has acknowledged the wrong billing and the dispute.
                              Further they are not ready to review my case since april 2019.

                              I humbly request you to kindly review my case since april 2019. If i am at fault then no issue, but bank representative told me that it is your fault as to why you did not raise the issue timely. That was my mistake i had already agreed to.
                              Secondly ineed reversal for rs 9176, 61 subject to payment of my september fill amounting to rs 46696, 73 in full which contains gst and sgst.
                              I have submitted all the required document to the bank for review of my case.
                              I humbly request you to kindly raise the issue with the bank so that the bank settles the dispute

                                  The over-limit charges are to be charged only when the purchase has crossed the limit. The purchases were within the limit but due to interest and other charges the total outstanding becomes more than the limit. Please note the purchase was within a limit only, why the over-limit charges will be added just because of additional charges.
                                  The over-limit charges are to be added once in a bill but i have seen, they have charged twice in a single bill as over-limit charges.
                                  Really unsatisfied with standard chartered credit card. The worst card ever have seen. I also use other cards but they are quite supportive.
                                  Scb credit card is the worst.

                                    This is not acceptable as this illegal transaction was done in month of july and it is more than 40 days and still i have not received positive response and for your kind information i have not provided pin to anyone and how can u say that to customer that i have provided to pin to someone else so please do verification asap otherwise i will move to higher authority and will switch to other bank.

                                    Scb charging extra money extra interested I already paid my dues on 6 but they are making us full charging extra every time.. They are torching me mentally every time

                                      I had taken a car loan in june 2002 which was fully paid as per bank terms.
                                      I have still not received an noc n form no:35 from standard chartered bank inspite of repeated requests.
                                      In your branch (Standard chartered bank, ground floor 'gukulesh' r. C dutt road, alkapuri, vadodara:390 007, gujarat is still not finding the records and statements of my car loan.
                                      My car is still hypothecated to standard chartered bank and registration validity got expired after 15 year's in 2017 but i did not received my noc n form no:35 yet.
                                      New traffic rules is applicable 15 oct 2019 in gujarat.
                                      Please i am writing this in hope of someone would reach out for my issue.
