      My credit card is charged b2over fee illegally. As of my information credit card in india should stop transactions if my credit limit is over. But standard chartered credit card are permitting even if i have low credit for that transaction and applying a high fee of rs 500 + gst. So if my credit balance is 10 and if i try to do a transaction of 20 rupees, they will permit that transaction and apply a fee of 500+gst. How idiotic, after this transaction i will not able to do any further transactions. This is what we call day looting. So in effect i'm paying a 60 times interest.

        I am holding a primary as well as secondary card since last 10 years
        [protected] (Primary card) [protected] (Supplementary card) all of a sudden i received message to handover the documents for supplementary card for kyc & that to go in a branch physically & not from the site other wise card services will be interrupted after 31st march

        I feel very depressed about such a communication from your side which indicates that you do not believe in your costumers & you are not bothered about your costumers even though a customer is having long relationship of 10 years with you

        In this technosavy world you are expecting your costumers to all the way go to the branch for submitting the documents instead which can be done from site itself.

        I expect a personal call from your side regarding this issue

          being charged a4 interest

Yet i see the amount is staying similar which is pending and then i check details i see a4 interest being charged on my credit card every month. Why would i unnecessarily pay this fine?           Just a bit of background - I wanted to pay < Rs.4000 for Standard chartered bank credit card for long time. Due to some reasons, I did not paid for 2 years and eventually, CIBIL score got affected as it was mentioned as WRITTEN OFF account.

          Now, in the month of November 2018, I got active again and paid remaining outstanding amount to SCB via an agency (CreditMantri.com) and lender(SCB) also accepted the payment.br...

          Dear sir,

          I have used my credit for 26500 in month of dec18 to 6 th jan19. I have done the partial payment for 10000 before the due date and made the balance amount on 31st jan 2019. So the interest of rs 3114.97 has been charged for non payment of the amount total due amount.

          So in the month of jan i have used my credit for 60000 on 7th jan and paid total outstanding for 63361 including the interest charged of rs 3114.97 i have cleared my credit card bill fully before due date.

          I have received the statement month of feb with interest of 1396.85. When i called asked the customer care they are saying the interest is charged for non payment of 26500.

          I could not understand, den what is the interest charged on jan and why there interest charged in the month of feb.

              On my credit card, i had a billed balance of rs. 430, 215.46. I paid rs. 365, 000 before the due date. But the bank still charged me interest of rs. 15, 035.58 for a whole month on the entire billed balance of rs. 430, 215.46.

              After my complaint, they offered a discount of rs. 3, 000 but it was unethical and unfair for them to charge interest on the entire billed balance. The rbi guidance, clause 5, says: “the manner in which the outstanding unpaid amount will be included for calculation of interest should also be specifically shown with prominence in all monthly statements.”

              In my statement, it was not clearly spelt out that i would be charged interest on the entire billed balance if i made only a partial payment.

              I am using Titanium and Platinum SCB Credit Cards for last 1 year, for this month they have charged me TRFD for about 24K. All the bills have been paid in advance till last month. I don't know why they have charged me this much interest.

              Please resolve this as soon as possible.

                My self manoj baijnath gupta holding a salary account with standard chartered bank account no:-[protected] yesterday i have observed some fraud transactions in my account (Amount 44, 098/-), so i have immediately visit to standard chartered vashi branch and registered as complaint with complaint number:-[protected] and standard chartered call center asked me to wait for 48 hrs.

                Today in the morning i have received the call from standard chartered saying that they have given request to the beneficiary account to pull the amount and ask me to register the fir.

                Requesting you to please help me to get an fir register against fraud transactions.

                  fraudulently charging money after promising a free card

                  I was provided with a credit card from standard chartered bank stating free of charge membership for lifetime and no hidden costs, but from next month onwards (Jan 2019), they have started sending me outstanding payment reminder for rental of ₹250/-.

                  I’ve requested them via emails, calls and twitter for immediate suspension of their services as this were not the terms on which i applied for the card.

                  Hi sir/madam,

                  I was supposed to pay rs 1, 42, 345.21 as of 15-feb-2109 for the credit card and paid the same amount on time and raised an request for closure of the same card on the same day itself. But after 10 days of my closure request the new bills generated by bank and came with a4interest charges of rs 5600. When i spoke with customer care of standard chartered bank. Customer care support[she] said like she could not do anything except i should pay the whole amount. But i can not pay single penny on this a4 interest changes since i paid whole outstand amount on time.

                    I have been using Standard Chartered Bank Credit Card from past 8 to 9 years. In the month of January 2019 I saw a B2-OVERLIMIT fee of Rs. 599 on my card. I immediately called the customer care and enquired about this charge, they informed me that, since I have utilised full limit they have put this charge. I asked them -
                    a) Why they let my card go over-limit?
                    b) Why a customer is not informed when the card is about to reach limit or, inform that they will be charged over-limit fee. so, that customer could use the card judiciously.

                    They told me customer can go and check their max limit though netbanking and utilise the card as per the prescribed limit. However, they took my request for reversal of charges and after two days, I received the message that the charges are valid and couldn't be reversed. Please note my bill is still not generated by this time.

                    Now, my bill get generated on 20th Feb 2019 and payment due date is 13 March 2019 with . Today 25th Feb 2019, I logged to pay the bill, I again saw a B2-OVERLIMIT fee of Rs. 599. They charged Rs. 599 twice, one on 28th Jan and other on 20th February. I called them and told them to reverse this unauthorised charges. After so much of discussion and putting my point, even though they looked convinced with my argument, they told me they tried to reverse the charge but their system is not allowing saying, it a valid charge.

                    What does this tell, a system being made to loot the customer. You should have never allowed any purchase to happen beyond my prescribed limit. You should NOT charge anything to the customer without informing the customer. Your customer care executive should have informed the customer that you may be charged again, so forget the bill due date and pay the bill. Complaint No. is '[protected].

                    Standard Charted should look into this matter, I'm no place to go with the reversal of these unauthorised charged. Do not loot your customers in the name of over-limit fee when they have not asked you to allow any such transactions. Please resolve this if you can or, you lose trust and a customer.

                        I was to pay standard chartered credit card bill and they kept calling me back to back for payment. Although i was paying their minimum amount but still getting interest added in outstanding, so i did not pay their last minimum due and was late for a month and they deducted the money from my savings account and left me with no money in account. This is very frustrating as things have gone very bad for me when i needed the money the most.

                          This is bipeen jadhav. I am writing this to complaint about a fraudulent transaction against standard chartered credit cards.

                          The card shows some instabuy loan for which i owe them approx rs.25000 which i never applied for. The payments made to my valid card are transferred to this account by default without my consent. I am out of country since october 2018 whereas instabuy shows transactions from 1st december against the fraudulent loan.

                          When seeking for the instabuy loan information, i found multiple complaints for the same issue. Seems the company has pattern of trying their hands on such illegal transaction leaving me very much pissed.

                          Can you please help look into my concerns. Due to me being overseas now i cannot directly go to their office for addressing my concerns except for complaining about them online.

                            I had a sc bank credit card.. I was facing lots of issues with standard chartered credit card.. So i stopped using that card for purchases. 0 transaction on that card but only one credit card loan was going.. That is also no annual fee card.. The loan account they given me some other 16 digit card number they told me to pay to that loan account.. There also i faced some problems. Then i startered paying to the given card number.. After so many issues i decided not to use the credit card.. When the card expired i didn't collect the new card.. (Also address update issue with bank) but i paid regularly for the loan account without fail also within the pay by date.. I only received msg saying your credit card number this month due this much.. I paid that amount to loan account.. But after two month when i check through online banking they put some random charges in my card which i not used for years also i don't have the new card.. When i tried to check what are the charges online banking shows no records found.. So i called customer care number they said you don't have our new card you have to close your full loan and the charges are overlimit charges.. And also told me to pay the full loan amount to avoid charges.. That month i received msg saying you have to pay around 160000 for your card.. Also i paid the whole amount within the pay by date.. But after that also the put some random charges in my account.. When i spoke to the customer care person explain everything he told not to worry we will reverse the charges and make it to 0 with in 48 hours. Then i didn't received any communication from sc bank after a month i just checked my online it was showing some increased amount... After that i called customer care they told your financial charges not yet reversed.. Will forward your issue to the concerned team and you will get a confirmation msg within 2 days.. But i received some promotional msg only.. But still that amount is not reversed.. Pls take actions on my issue.. Also i have some other bank credit cards i never faced any issues with any other bank cards.. This sc bank only creating new ideas to cheat customers..

                              I am a salaried professional with good cibil score. I have been paying my credit card payments on time for past 2 years.in dec, i was not sure of how the billing is done and did not make full payment. Since last 2 months i am calling and writing to the bank to have somebody call me and walk me through my details to help close the account.
                              One representative called but she had no information that i requested - she could not even say from which date i am supposed to be paying. Now scb is just sending me sms / letters saying they tried to contact me but could not - which is a big lie and just trying to get past the issue by shifting the blame and responsibility on me.
                              All the time customers are not responsible for not paying. I am tired of calling their helpline, its a waste of time as i just keep putting requests. They call me after 7 working days and that too with half knowledge. It is harassment and trying to degrade my cibil score. As a working professional i cannot afford so much time.

                                My name is mehfuz farooqui. I tried to withdraw 5000rs from corp atm machine of mira road branch between 12.10pm to 12.14pm on 7th feb 2019 from my standard chartered bank account (Ac no. [protected]) thru debit card. But the money didn't dispense from atm machine and my stanc account debited by 5000rs. Many others on the same day face the same problem. Immediately i complaint to the corp bank mira road branch and they told within 24 hours the amount will get credited back in my account. But still the amount not credited back. Immediately i raised complaint to stanc thru netbanking. But still no response from stanc and amount still not credited back

                                Again i did transfer of 10000rs on 11th feb 2019 at 11am from google pay to my wife account from above said same account. But that too got debited from my account and not credited to my wife account. I launch complaint via email to both google pay and stanc. But still no reply

                                  I have been using kuch bhi on emi since long. I have couple of transactions that i want to use this option in current month. But i'm not able to do so. I tried calling customer care, used their mailing option and getting completely non-sense reply. As per customer care guy: "you have that option in your online account but you don't have that offer" i'm using this option so long and i plan my transaction that way. Suddenly i'm not able to do so, "without any communication"? If this option is not there then i won't do the transactions that needs this option and i'll plan it other way. You can't say that i have this option but i can't use. If this is the case, it is fraud, as i did some transactions after seeing that i have this option and i am not being communicated that this option is not on my account. Please take some urgent action and give solution to issue as this issue is clearly related to fraud.
