I have star health family insurance from last 5 years. Till date cant claim a single rupees. 11.9.2017 my wife admit in anugarah hospital gandhidham kachchh. And i registered claim. No is 0298708.
Yesterday { 12.9.2017 } 11. Oo clock verifying officer call me from mo. [protected] where is patient, i say iam not hospital i wil submitted all detail later then she say why you are not in hospital and misbehave and talking with rudely, then after she going to hospital and say dr. What happned why are patient discharge not inform us, and giving bill, hospital staff say we are providing bill to patient, because they had paid the bill not by you, she also rudely talk with dr. And hospital staff. This is to much. Can taken hard action against him. Now relation broken between me with dr.

I purchased a cashless policy from your company ​in 2013, ​but on the date of operation your company refused to pay cashless​. ​but still i paid ​approximately ​80, 000 to the ​​ dayanand medical hospital ludhiana​ for surgery​. I faced lots of problem due to your company. Please pay me remaining amount as soon as possible

      Satr people is really... I was asked thrice to submit hospital latter for processing the claim cli/2018/201114/0101533. Claim was put on hold for almost month time & denied with comment - "we refer to the hospital letter dated 15/07/2017 submitted to us regarding nursing charges. As we have already processed and the settled the claim based on the nursing charges mentioned in the final bill dated 05/06/2017, we are unable to accept the letter dated 15/07/2017 now submitted by the hospital. We assure you to render all our possible services. Yours faithfully, authorised signatory"

      If they were not willing to consider latter then why i'm asked for hospital letter again & again. I think star is one of the biggest ever biggest cheat insurance company which harass the people enough that people leave their claim.

      Not even think to buy any policy from this company or cry letter for being cheated.

        Star health and allied insurance co ltd is p/900000/01/2017/000007. Claim intimation no. Cli/2018/900000/0260969.
        Name of insurer is vrushalee anup sangai
        She admitted in your network hospital, prestige nursing home near chhaoni masjid, nagpur, -13, for the treatment but star health insurance has denied the cashless treatment by saying that all previous hospitalisation details were not provided. But we have submitted all the details that we have from the date of dignosis of disease.

            Dear sir please help, i am agent in star health company my senior got money from me to deposit 2 cases in my account because i am in job and not full time agent in star health. Manager deposit 1 case in my account and i have not recvd commision from last oct 2016 of this case. I have mail many times and went to branch but no one entertain me. My senior said u will get soon commison but so far i have not recvd. I have mail for noc letter necause i want to quit from this company but no response. This is my final step please take action soon against those seniors who misuse their position. Please help i have given 3 option to manager that please change my senior or change my branch or give me noc letter. But they dont do anything. Please help to resolve this situation. I am more frustrate. Please take action soon.

              Sir/madam, the above claim was registered on 22/6/17, queries were asked & replied accordingly. On several occasions it was followed to know whats the status of the claim. Result given was, in process. Yesterday on 18th aug 2017 when contacted the kallai office kozhikode, they said claim rejected please contact claims dept. As an agent i am facing the client frequently. I contacted the claims dept[protected] and enquired about the above claim. I was told by a gentlemen (1) this is a daycare treatment and admission in hospital bill will not be passed. I explained to his it is not admission but day care treatment, a small surgery on a finger. Then he said let me check i will call u back. But never called. Next day again the client called me & i followed to claims dept. The reply given was by a lady (2) this item of surgery do not fall in our list of daycare treatment. I asked her to forward the gentlemen to whom i spoke yesterday. She tried to convey the message to him but he was reluctant to speak to me. I told the lady that this is not a right excuse one day one reason another day another reason. She told me to inform the client to send review of their claim.

              Sir, i kindly request you, if the claim was not to be passed due to not enlisted in your list you should have informed immediately. I could have informed the client accordingly. Giving different excuses that's too after one & half month, for a petty 2000/- bill is not a good business practice.

              Kindly do the needful to pass the bill. The client is a busy person & will not follow for any further review.

                Dear sir,

                I've subscribed a policy no. P/201116/01/2017/[protected] named senior citizen red carpet plan of star health and allied insurance for my father mr. Virendra shukla on the date of 29th august 2016.

                I have to inform you regretfully that my father met with accident twice during last year after subscribing this health insurance policy and i have claimed the treatment expenses but branch manager in jabalpur mr. Sanjay jain denied both times.

                Finally, somehow i managed to submit the claim for the expense of treatment with claim number 0172528 on the date 27th july 2017 but no response received till date.

                I have already renewed this policy and continously trying to get any update related to my claim but none of the official is providing any response.

                Kindly interfere and do needful.

                  Sub.: grievance against rejection of our claim no. Cli/2018/900000/0170934 dated 10th july 2017 for my policy no. P/900000/01/2017/000007

                  Respected sir / madam,

                  With reference to your rejection letter the copy of which is attached for your reference. I would like to state that:-

                  1) my wife was admitted for bleeding from uterus and d & c was done in january 2017 in hospital (Shree siddhi women`s hospital).

                  2) the claim for above ailment was unconditionally sanctioned by then insurance provider icici lombard.

                  3) since then she was under treatment & guidance of the same doctor and nursing home (Shree siddhi women`s hospital).

                  4) she again started bleeding per # and was administered injection by same doctor on 6th july 2017 which controlled her bleeding. But again on 9th july she started severe uncontrolled bleeding and we had to rush her to the hospital on 9th july where she was admitted in emergency and operated on 10th july as an emergency case.

                  5) sir/madam, you have rejected the claim and as per your rejection letter it was on the grounds that “dysuterine bleeding is neither a medical emergency nor an accidental injury.”

                  6) here i would like to state that any uncontrolled severe bleeding from any organ is a medical emergency and not as claimed by your side.

                  7) i am attaching the certificate of treating surgeon certifying that it was a medical emergency and it was necessary to operate her in emergency to control her bleeding.

                  8) hence i am submitting my grievance against your reasoning of claim and request you to refer any medical book or medical expert to confirm whether uncontrolled bleeding is an medical emergency or not.

                  9) i would also like to know the name and qualification of the concerned person /doctor who has rejected the claim on the grounds that uncontrolled severe bleeding is not a medical emergency.

                  10) if my grievance is not addressed in proper justification & my mediclaim is not sanctioned i will be compelled to approach insurance omdusman for justice regarding my above case

                    I recd reminder for above policy on23/7/2017 & deposited cheqe for rs15222.00 on 25/7/2017 at your branch office vijaynagar, indore (Mp). L also submitted a application for change of location from kota (Rajathan) to indore (Mp). Can l get the status of renewal & change of location. I got my insurance from your kota (Rajsthan) office. Now i have house at indore (Mp) & live at indore. I am 78yrs old & it is not possible for me to go to kota for renewal of my policy.. What do you suggest, what i should do.?

                      I had taken senior citizens red carpet health insurance policy for my mother in law through the tele-sales at policy bazaar.com and paid the premium for continuous 2 years. After paying the 2nd premium my mother in law had got some infection in blood and got admitted to hospital. My mil had gone through a surgery 2 years back which was completely cured and this ailment had no link wahtsoever with the previous line of treatment but still start health rejected the cashless claim. Then i was told by hospital that you can get re-imbursement once apply for the same. I got all the documents submitted just to be told that although this ailment is not related to the previous hospitalization but still they cannot re-imburse as it was not disclosed. I think these health insurance companies are fleeing hard earned money of people and are unethical in their conduct. I hope there is some regulatory body which looks into these ir-regularities of star health insurance company.

                        I have asked for the new policy with the company and discloses all my pre existing diseses with the personel mr. Jitendra joshi employee of insurance company, and assures me that all pre existings are covered after four years and convince me to purchase the policy. After making payments for cover of rs. Ten lakhs he is now totally disagreed that pre existing are not covered on the basis on which policy had been purchased. I ought to know earlier by luck because i asked them to mention it on my policy.
                        Later, suppose after four years at the time of claim the company could reject and forfiet the amount. Total forgery.
                        However the company returned the amount but had a very poor experiance.
                        I will suggests everyone that before purchasing with star health go through it properly.

                        One of the worst insurance company.. don't buy any policy, they don't pay claim honestly & if ask for reason they reply ridiculous answer even give wrong policy reference ...there customer support is good for nothing even many time they just put on hold.                           Ever worst experience with star health insurance not will to pay claim honestly. For processing claim id -0101533, room rent eligibility is calculated by adding (Room rent +room rent nursing chagres +ot nursing charges + hc nursing charges) instead of (Room rent +room rent nursing charges) even after submitting the hospital charges letter. More worst then this when contacted customer care, he was trying to say this was group insurance policy & you did not pay huge amount then why fighting for claim (I can provide conversation recording of same).
                          Request all user who read this. Pls. Be away from this company & think tons of time before taking policy because you are not going to get actual amount for which you are eligible instead you would be given wrong policy reference or made you fool by rounding words..

                          Also pls. Suggest how i can proceed legally for same.

                          Hi, Even if the policy is group basic policy there is a 80% of claim amount on total bill or up to covered amount. Pl verify terms & conditions of policy document, where in all charges payable are avialable, so that you can aware what you can claim & if there is still difference in claim amount, then insist the insurer to settle the claim according to terms & conditions of policy. Insurer cannot say not to insist claim because of you are having group policy.

                            Your grievances cell and customer care is worst and main domain where it could be read of getting back to us within 48 hours is???

                            Would request to look into since i will perhaps decide to counter the same in consumer forum.

                            I have remained in patience because of the representative of star health who have done the subjected policy on 2012 and he was trying to get it honoured by so called babus in head office of 75c park street who have took around two month to take decision (No means no).

                                You guys are one fraud company... I will make sure you run out of business if my issue was not resolved today...

                                I would like to highlight the biggest fraud your insurance company is doing with me and i am sure many customers might be facing same issue after the kind of conversation i had with your customer care. You guys are just taking money from customers and when it comes to making payment then you guys search for excuses. I am attaching the response which i have received from you for the denial reason and you need to look at this response.

                                My mom was admitted to paramount hospital, siliguri after she had brain hemorrhage agin please note primary reason of her hospitalization is brain hemorrhage. Hospital submitted paper work for cash less facility because my mom have insurance with star health and i have been making payment for this policy for past 2 years.

                                Cashless hospitalization was denied due to one the most non sense reason i have ever seen. As per your fraud insurance company because she have chronic kidney problem which was not mentioned when i bought the insurance so the claim is denied.

                                Are you really running company? What kind of response it is? How can i tell about kidney issue at the time of buying policy in year 2015 when her kidney issue was diagnosed in 2016? Do you guys use your brain or you are brainless? This is brain hemorrhage case and you guys needs to understand this in plain english and not unnecessary make excuses to run away with money which i have been paying every year for this policy. Why they hell you are taking money from me every year when you are going to deny each and every claim for kidney issue?

                                I would like to highlight that i clearly mentioned diabetes as existing problem of the patient when i bought the policy and it is completely known in this whole world that diabetes impacts patient kidney then why the hell you gave me policy when you had to deny every other problem due to kidney problem?


                                I spoke to your associate for 1 hour and the one thing she could tell me that because she has kidney problem so this claim will not be approved?

                                Which medical book you have read that brain hemorrhage and kidney issue is related? I will be fine if you reject claim when i claim anything which is related to kidney but how in this would you can deny brain hemorrhage claim for kidney issue?

                                Please note i am not going to leave you guys so easlily and will ruin your insurance company to make sure you all run out of job and this company is closed.

                                I am it profession and know how i have to use media and social media to make sure you completely loose this insurance business.

                                Now you need to decide how you would like to handle this claim.

                                I have already posted my review for star health at below websites and will be posting it at other 100 websites. You need to now understand that whom you are dealing with rite now.

                                    i am Anil Kumar A working in private sector company and provide insurance from company side for Rs 1 lakh from Star Health insurance policy # P/141133/01/2017/0015819, i met with an accident on 7th February 2017 policy Hospital bill was about 1.35 lakhs they reimbursed nearly 66 thousand where remaining i have paid from my side than later i sent for claiming through hospital bill they have rejected and told a big story . this STAR HEALTH insurance are big cheaters big money eaters they dont even bother middle class people problems, i need justice and i will post every where about this big cheaters, now insurance agent is also always busy in meeting when ever i call him, so please take necessary action related to this.

                                      Worst company ever never take this insurance i have thyroid problem from last 1 month due to i have breathing problem from last 4 days and # company denied my claim and say this particular disease is pre existing disease never buy it is worst and all the report are correct under doctor. Doctor write letter to insurance that please provide them insurance as they need surgery as fast as possible and they again declined never buy this worst company and also do not buy jain international organisation. They both are worst my thinking with them is this. I wishes that both the company should shut down never buy

                                        Denying cashless claim at network hospital!

                                        Policy number : 161130/01/2017/000174 (Group mediclaim policy offered to staff from max health care ltd)
                                        Coverage : rs2, 00, 000/-
                                        Claim number : 0095975

                                        This is regarding claim number 0095975 where the star health insurance is denying the additional amount towards cashless facility in rcc, trivandrum which is listed as network hospital.

                                        Details:

                                        The patient was admitted on 31-may-2017 in rcc trivandrum and on the same day an amount of rs25, 000/- was approved. The patient is still admitted and we had

                                        Requested for enhancement/additional amount which is remaining in the policy as the approved amount was exhausted and started paying from hand. The documents were faxed multiple times to 1800 and star health claims that they have not received the documents. Again the documents were faxed on 24-june-2017 as per instructions from someone who spoke to me as an assistant team leader on 23-june-2017. He had promised that he will message me the email address to which i can send the documents but he did not do it. I had then sent an email to "[protected]@starhealth.in" on 23-june-2017 with details to which i have received the reply on 24-june-2017 stating that they are looking into it. On 24th june 2017, i spoke to someone and was given the email id "cashless. [protected]@starhealth.in" and forwarded the pre-authorisation form and the document transmission report to "cashless. [protected]@starhealth.in" and "[protected]@starhealth.in" and called them again. After multiple transferring the "concerned" departments, one lady was asking me to send the final bills to process the same. It sounded absolutely idiotic and irresponsible as we were not making a reimbursement claim post discharge but asking to approve amount towards cashless facility as the patient was never discharged after 31-may-2017. Then she asked to provide a self request letter from patient signed by the doctor from the hospital as she said they have only received the pre-authorization form. On asking how do you expect the patient who is admitted to sign and send the request letter, she had replied that she will check with the hospital and would return the call back (I am still waiting for her call!!!). We then contacted the hospital authorities to counter sign the letter and they were demanding the bills to get it signed from the doctor. We have explained them that we are not looking for reimbursement but to have the cashless facility to which they are not understanding. On contacting starhealth again, i was given a new email id - "cashless. [protected]@starhealth.in" and forwarded the documents - no update so far and i am delighted - wow!!!

                                        The questions:

                                        1) i have called multiple times to star health and had no resolution (Please see screenshots of calls made from 23rd june 2017 and the duration i was on call).
                                        2) why are continuously telling that you have not received the documents faxed? I am attaching the pictures of document transmission report for your reference. Do you think the sender has any control on the electronic medium once the document is sent and he receives a confirmation that it has been transmitted successfully?
                                        3) none of the emails to the emails ids you had given were bounced - so why are you telling lie that you have not received any emails? It is to be noted that

                                        The lady who promised the call back has replied that only pre-authorisation form received and asked to send the self request for enhancing the limits. All
                                        The emails were addressed to "[protected]@starhealth.in" as well. If you are saying that you have not received any emails, then how did you respond to my query? I am attaching screenshots to prove that you are telling lie that you have not received the e-mails? Is it that you are trained to tell us that you have not received the documents to deny/delay the claim?
                                        4) if fax and emails are not successful mediums to deliver the documents to you, what is the the other option to send you the documents as we already know that your telephone executives are found useless? And how can someone ensure that you have received the documents or not? And if you are expecting bills to be submitted as documents other than pre-authorization form, please understand that we are not looking for reimbursement but cashless facility.

                                        5) i have spent hours with your telephone executives and had no resolution. They are asking me who told you this (It is idiotic to ask this but they are doing it under the confidence that they can not be traced with just first name) and do whatever you want to do - we have not received the documents. I myself work with service industry and understand that there must be information tracked regarding customer interactions and they should be able retrieve history than letting customer explain each time to each executive and having no resolution and challenging the customer as to do whatever you want and disconnecting the calls is just arrogant and ignorant towards the customer especially when it is towards medical assistance.

                                        So let us know what needs to be done that is within hospital procedures to have this request approved!
