I am Jyoti Kumar having SBI Credit card since 2006. Today I came across very surprising query against my credit card statement. Details are below.My credit card number

[protected] New Purchase :- 5858 (Bill would generate for this on[protected] but as per Customer care executive finance and Interest woul be applied on this even this was unbilled amount)

Now can some one help me out to understand ow the Fin charges has been applied ( 933.38 + 115.36) on 5000 carried forrward amount.

Disatisfaction comes when I spoke to customer care executive who dropped off my phone without resolving my query.As per my understanding the bill calculation for the current month should be as follow :-

Amount Carried forward :- 5000

Fin charges / interest (3.35 %)

New Purchase :- 5858 . as per my usage and Govt of India rules and regulations.

I do have Credit cards from other banks like HDFC , bank of baroda , RBS , ICICI , CITI Bank HSBC but never came across such calculation them.

Thanks in advance for helping me out. Also i am not going to pay the outstanding with query resolution.

SBI Credit Card — Billing on closed account

My Father Prasanta Chakraborty had a SBI Card (**** ****[protected] and I had a SBI card as add on this card (**** ****[protected]. We had a word with the SBI Helpline and was asked to pay - 14,800/- as the complete settlement of the account along with the foreclosure of the EMI Loan. Once they received that payment, they started sending new bills for money that were never used by us and also saying that we need to pay another 850/- to completely close the account. The associates at the SBI Helpline are not directly from the bank and have no power of reversal of any bad payment, etc. Moreover, there tone and customer dealing on the call is very bad and the only thing they say is "WE CANNOT HELP. YOU NEED TO PAY THIS AMOUNT." Please get in touch if more information is required

State Bank of India Credit Card — Goods not delivered

Dear Sir,

I have purchased a digital camera from state bank of india credit card website i.e.www.sbicard.com on 7th may '08 through my sbi credit card only the amount was debited from my credit card on 9th may'08 and while purchasing it was said that the digital camera will take maximum 21 working days but till now i have not received any such and its almost more then a month. I have given several calls and emails to the concern departments but they are just giving me false assurance that it might 4-5 days again & again or we have passed on the complaint to the higher authority they will get in touch with you within a week on 8th june'08 i got a call from the customare care dept. to confirm i have recieved the said or not. After that call no one has get in touch with me.

I would like request you to please into the matter and kindly do the needful as i have to make so many long distances to enquire about the said item every time.

Dear Sir,

This is with reference to your letter dated June 6, 2008, regarding outstanding payment due in respect of the said SBI credit card. In this connection I would like to ask a few question:

1. The said outstanding dues which you are asking me to pay are of any purchase done by me?

2. How serious the bank is about their customer?

3. Do you follow the proper guidelines pre & post customer?

Again I would like to clear that at the time of making me a customer of SBI credit card I have been told that the said card is absolutely free from any annual fee. It was free for the first two years later I have received the bill of annual charges. I immediately rang up the customer care and enquired about the dues which was not spent by me. I was told that that you have to pay the annual charges after two years. I immediately replied that I am not going to use this card and stop this. I have been repeatedly receiving these kinds of bills requesting me to pay the outstanding dues which are not genuine. I am once again receiving calls on my mobile please make the SBI credit card which is absolutely free from any charges. I would once again request you to kindly stop sending me the bills which are not genuine as I have been misled by your representative.

Yes SBI Credit card are cheaters .

I have also face same problem of cheating from them so I have stopped using SBI CREDIT CARD.

SBI Credit Card — unresolve issue from SBI Credit Card

SBI Investigation 'Case ID=[protected]'

In the year of 2007, one of SBI Credit Card representative approach me to apply for credit card and I did, after one month I ad received Balance Transfer Draft, at the time I inform to SBI customer care that, I had not received the credit card. As she suggested to wait for 10 to 15 days, I waited for the same. One day one customer care representative had call me to deposit minimum balance amount due on your account. I agree and paid Rs. 250/- and told her I neither received any credit card nor statement against which you are asking money to me. She said I look into the matter.

Next month I received statement through e-mail, whereas some purchases shown, I called to customer care and told all the story once again. They suggested to launch complaint in written which I had made to SBI, Chennai as well as SBI, Delhi. They committed me to investigate the matter and if you had not done any purchasing, there is no need to worried.

After six month, I received e-mail stated that your complaint is out of time frame, so you required to make payment. Once again I produce all the details of correspondence to him and showing that there is no delay to make complaint in time. They agreed to once again look into the matter, but till date I have not received any response from SBI.

They block my Credit Card and every month asking for the payment and harassing me. I approach to their Manager who is looking all the disputes and recovery. The manager regret for inconvenience after seen all the correspondence and communicated his recommendation to resolve the issue, but no action has been taken from their superior.

Now I stopped attending their call because harassing me and wasting my time.

It is requested to kindly look into matter and close the issue at the earliest and read SBI last communication received to me as below.

It may make a one off case for anyone who reads about it but the fact is that your executives have made my life miserable by calling me at any time they feel like calling.
i am being asked to pay charges amounting to Rs. 6700 which have supposedly accumulated from an amount of Rs. 600 that was supposedly charged from me as "annual charges" in 2003 for a credit card which I HAVE NOT RECIEVED TILL DATE.

Despite my repeated requests to all and sundry including emails to sbihead, i still recieve humiliating, aggresive and sometimes abusive calls from executives who claim to be from settlement department.

If there is anyone in your organisation worth his salt, kindly look into my case and if possible ask the executives to stop calling me, if solving my problem is not possible for you.
Since I have not taken any Credit card from SBI credit Card so far whereas I am receiving a SMS on my Mobile Phone No. [protected] at Nagpur Maharashtra every month for payment of bills.

I am Saving Bank holder of State Bank of India, Br. Golibar Maidan, PUNE – 411001 A/c. No.[protected] Atm Cum-Debit Card No.[protected] tried to withdrawal of Rs 5000/ and 1000/ on date 11/08/2009 from other than SBI Atm (Union Bank of India, IDBI) but not able to receive the cash or withdrawal of amount.

SBI customer care is worst ever in customer satisfaction. I used to have SBI Credit card but lost faith in it and closed my account due to many such incidents. tough luck for you dude..hope you have your issues resolved. God help you :)

    Sharing one of my worst experience withe SBI.

    I am utilizing thee SBI mobile banking facility. I tried recharging my mobile on 16the March 2013 but transactions got failed.
    I raised 2 request on SBI CMS page (SBI CMS) but both the time my request was resolved without communicating me. This is really frustrating.

    Can't these guys directly contact the user for details or to provide resolution ???. We just get an sms that your request has been closed, Please contact the CC to get details.

    The customer Care of SBI is Worst. you have to wait for a long to time to get response.

    Wake up. SBI, your competitors are providing much better service. It's my Bro who asked me to open an account in your Branch.

    Let it be , I don’t want to discuss it any more.

      Dear Sir,

      This has reference to the loan availed from SBI in 2008 towards purchase of husband's car Maruti Swift VXI. My husband had issued 60 post dated cheques from Citibank in the year he had availed the loan and the EMI payment of 8848/- was carried out by the bank till June 2011. Thereafter there was no debit of this amount from the bank from the CITIBANK account my husband held. However, he still had money totalling a lakh and odd and when repeated requests were made to the bank to come and collect the amount despite him visiting the main branch in Anna Salai, the gentleman came in February and took a cheque for 88848/- till period ending April 2012. The bank loan gets cleared in April 2013 and the same problem has yet again started. Despite repeated requests to send across a person to collect the money, the bank officials have not relented and today , the 22nd of March, 2013, in the morning when my husband spoke to one Mr. Narayanan, Chief Manager, SBI, Egmore, he agreed to send across a person to our company premises on Anna Salai. Now, my husband was ready to pay the amount of 1,06,176, which would ensure completion of the loan amount for the period availed. The person who had come over issued a document that showed this amount and an interest of 35000 that had accumulated this far, and it also says that the loan was availed on a floating rate of interest. I would like the following questions answered.

      1) For irregularities from the bank side, why should I pay the penalty? The bank had lost the post dated cheques issued from June 2011 to the period of closure. Now, despite repeated requests from my husband's side, a one time payment of 88848 was paid in April 2012. Further, my husband agreed to make a payment of 1, 06,176, towards the amount outstanding for clearing the loan but was asked to not do so by the Bank Manager then, which acted in defiance to the rules laid by the bank. My husband also took a letter in writing from the bank official that the payment held true till the period ending April 2012 . Further, the SBI official who came over to take the cheque was asked to look up the post dated cheques issued initially, which the bank claimed they had misplaced. A few more calls followed and my husband had made it clear to ask the officials to come over and take the amount that was outstanding and to date, this has not been done. In the last two weeks, my husband has been getting calls from the bank asking us to pay and despite him telling them to come over, nothing has been done from the bank. My husband called up the Bank Manager, Mr. Narayanan, who heads the division in Egmore and told him about the callousness of the officials and about the irregularities committed by the bank in the last year, to which he had agreed. My husband further gave him our address particulars and asked him to come over to our place in Mylapore the next day and get the cheque for the outstanding amount to which he agreed. The person agreed to come before 11 the following day. While my husband was waiting till 11.30 yesterday, the 21st of March, 2013, no one showed up. My husband again called up the bank today and spoke to Mr. Narayanan, who said that he would send the person to our office and get the cheque from us. The person came at 1.00 in the afternoon and produced a document, where incorrect information of the amount was presented and an interest amount of 35000 charged towards the amount outstanding, which is plainly ridiculous.

      2) No point of time was the term floating interest rate mentioned.If it were to be based on a floating rate of interest, how is it that the Bank until 2012 had a fixed EMI charged towards this loan? We need an explanation of this !

      3) The Bank has been negligent in noting down details from my husband. Despite taking note of the present address at the place we are put up, the bank continues to send reminders to the Royapettah address, showcasing their lack of seriousness in handling customer complaints.

      I would like you to kindly look up this and penalize the bank for all the distress that they have caused to day. I seek your assistance in this matter. Many thanks again.

      Citibank loan — Car Loan- Papers on Completion of loan not given by bank

      Hi,

      After completion of my car loan with Citibank.
      They have not given back the Completion certification, No objection and
      security checks docuemnts to me.

      They have given me the Blue dart courier docet number that is invalid.
      I have not received any courier.

      I had been following up for a month and there is no revert from their side.
      Everytime they tell they will revert in 2 days.

        I have submitted a a/c payee cheque no. 301039 dated 08/01/2013 of Rs.72000/- issued by Jankalyan Sahakari Bank, Andher(E), Mumbai in my mother's a/c no. [protected] on 15/02/2013. After enquiry on 22/02/2013, the bank manager replied that your cheque is returned to your address through registered dak no. RU[protected]IN dated 19/02/2013. But till date no registered dak received by me or any of the family members.
        I request you to help us in getting our money as early as possible.

            Deducted money from my SBI savings amount for the Policy premium without notifying me

            I have Rs.600000/- Housing Loan from SBI. I am paying a regular EMI since 2009. All of a sudden, yesterday I received a policy paper from SBI General Insurance stating that an amount of Rs.5353/- has been deducted towards the payment of the home insurance premium.             Concern Team,

            I have taken a Home Loan from the SBI & now suffering from Personal Financial Conditions as well as Mantel Harassment from the SBI Staff of VASANA(Ahmedabad) Branch and RPAC Team.

            I have taken a Home Loan from SBI on 06/09/2010 & Loan Account No. [protected] of Rs. 7,83,000/- is since September i am regularly paid my EMI on Time without Fail.

            The Project is Under Constructed so the Payment of Rs. 5,91,252/- has been release to the Builder out of My sanction Amount Rs. 7,83,000/-, now i am suffering from Financial Problems at present i am not able to Continue the Loan, so i am cancelling the Flat, as a Genuine Customer i have arrange a fund from my Relatives to Close the Loan.

            I have gone personally to My Home Branch "VASANA" ON 11/03/2013 to Pre-close my Loan & i have met the Branch Manager "Mr. Sonigara" & spent the time from 10.30 AM to 1.15 PM at Bank & given the Request for Pre-closer of Loan in written. but i have not received any proper response from him & i have to go to the RACPC office Ahmedabad to Resolve my Problem, i have reached to the RACPC office at 1.40 PM & still waiting till 3.00 PM for the positive response from the RACPC Team but again i am disappointing with the Staff Behavior, i have met the "Officer Maintenance" in the RACPC office & they have given me the Outstanding amount of Rs. 5,14,587/- but my outstanding amount shown in my statement was Rs. 5,04,359/- & after my so many verbal request they are not given me the Calculation or Bifurcation of the Amount Rs. 5,14,587/-.

            There are almost 9 working days have been passed but there are not any written Reply has come from the Branch as well as RACPC Team,

            Now the Branch Manager Has given the Information to me on 18/03/2013 that the Clean Interest of 17.95% will be charge on Outstanding amount from Disbursement Date to Till Date so pls. request you to guide me on the same & give the reply as early as possible. SBI Has given me the document Copy but the same clause has not mention in the Documents which provided to me as well verbally not given me the Knowledge of the same.

            I am requesting you pls. look in to this matter & give the Reply on Urgent Basis as this is the Last Hope for Me.

              State Bank of India — personal loan

              I visited more than 10 times for personal loan in the nearest branch of state bank of india laxmi nagar delhi 110092. but neither the dealing personal nor the branch manager took any response. I am state bank customer and my salary account is in state bank of india delhi but the bank is not ready to give me personal loan.



              so I request you to take appropriate action
              I am working at mejia thermal power plant,damodar valley corporation , last three years.I have a salary account in state bank of india,mejia thermal power plant,dist-bankura,west bengal ,branch.I want to take personal loan fron said branch but branch manager not co-operation with me.he alwas said I am busy ,I have no time to talk about loan.In this regard i try to comunicate with sbi customer care, head office kolkata but i have not get any reply. In this circumference what should next steep for me.

                I want to open a public provident fund account at State Bank of India, Manicktala Civic Centre Branch. But they forced me to open a savings account before opening the provident fund account. They also said that there is no second choice for it. But when I asked them to show me the rules about it, they didn't show me anything about it and verbally keep pressure on me.

                Please help me about this case.

                  Respected Sir, Myself Bir Singh Sirova, I have a saving bank account in State Bank of India, East Park Road, Karol Bagh Branch. Sir, I am lived away from my service branch in Najafgarh 8-9 months ago. Sir, last Monday 18.03.2013 I tried to deposited some money in SBI branch near my residence. I am visited in three various branches such as Najafgarh branch, Kakrola Mor branch and Mohan Garden branch. But they could not deposited my money. Firstly I visited Najafgarh branch the bank staff told me that the counter for the cash depositing of non-home branch is not open today. Then I visited to Kakrola Mor branch, the staff could not deposited my cash, by the reason that this is newly open branch and they not accept cash for non-home branch. Finally I went to Mohan Garden branch, its staff told me that we deposited non-home branch cash at 2.30 p m. I am wait there from 11.00 a m to 2.30 p m but the counter could not open till 2.50 p m and when the counter open, the person who received the cash, inform us that the server of the bank is down. I am wait atleast 30 minutes but the server is not working, then I return back without deposited cash. Sir, It is so difficult to deposite cash in other branch of same city. please give the instruction to the banks

                    I am regular user of SBI Credit card , I always pay partial or full payment towards my outstandings.

                    From last 2 - 3 months , SBI charging me unnecessary fees named as late payment fees and over limit fees.

                    I registered complaint last month also , after that complaint they reversed late payment fees of INR 750 but

                    in VERY next statement i.e generated on 17 MARCH 2013 SBI AGAIN charged me late payment fees of

                    INR 750 and THEY ALSO CHARGED OVER LIMIT FEES OF INR 500 IN SAME STATEMENT.

                    Resulting in a very high amount, Being from a middle class family unnecessary charge of 750 and 500 is very big amount for me.

                    Kindly instruct SBI Credit card to reverse LATE payment fees of INR 750 and OVER LIMIT fees of INR 500

                    Credit Card — Late Fee Payment charges

                    I am using Credit Card No.[protected], of your Bank for last more than three years. I have been paying the Bills regularly, in time and most of the time much before the due date. Your Bill for July was for Rs.228.28p. only. This was received late. I thought that this is meagre amount and I can pay it with my next Bill. Surprisingly, in my Bill for August on this amount of Rs.228.28 a Late Fee of Rs.400/-, was levied, which seems to be exhorbidently high and uncalled for. Moreover, when I cleared the dues in Cash, for the August Bill, I was further levied another Cash Payment Charges of Rs.100/-. It is surprising that paying cash is also considered a fault. If I would have been told, I could have paid by Cheque. In such case, I would like to surrender my Card. I have deposited all the dues. Please let me know the procedure. AVINASH JAIN

                      I used ATM of BOB at Halol Dist Panchmahal on dated 1.1.2011 and due to any reason, I have not get 10,000/- but this amount was deducted from my account. My account is in SBI Halol having account no [protected]. I complained to SBI, BOB at Halol and RBI in Ahemdabad and also demanded to verify the matter by CCTV camera. I asked RBI under RTI on dated 5.11.2012/2.1.2013 for subject matter but till today I have not recieved required information from RBI Ahemdabad.

                      I did many correspondence with above offices but it is regretted to say that the matter is not resolved.

But meanwhile as a result, I have been losing certain number of points on a monthly basis even I am not redeeming.                             . The customer care people are troubling me for paying the taxes for which I am not liable to pay. They are showing me the exagareted amounts on the statements . They are insisting for the payments of installments of Royal Sunderam Medical plans which were forcefully included in my statements after repeated denial and refusals from my side to accept those plans. Many times you have asked for those fines and late fees which were actually uncalled for and due to my busy work schedule and in order to avoid mental tensions somehow though unwillingly I made those payments . Previously also I have given you a letter for this and warned you about the complaint against you in the “GRAHAK MANCH” but you people dident took it on your minds and brains if you have any.
                            Even about this loan we didnt asked for the loan then also you have given us it in August 2007 and we are paying all our installments on time, then also you people are giving threats to us, But this time I am very serious and going to give the complaint against you, very soon you will get the letter from them . You people CHEAT, TORTURE, THREATEN your customers, now you will have to pay for this. I am strictly telling you that henceforth I am not going to pay any taxes other than my loan installments and its Govt tax of Rs3150+Rs117.86 =3268 I have already paid you fourteen installments of Rs 3150 and its Govt tax of Rs117.86 ie 44100.00 + 1650.00 and many more fines and late fees which actually were not required to be paid by me . You are showing total outstanding balance of Rs 53917.75 and Encash balance of Rs 44100.00 how does it come ? Are your brains on long leave? Computer HDD are CORRUPT ? Trace your own problems yourself and correct the statements on your own . stop the nonsence phonecalls . If you don’t Iam going to stop all your payments and launch complaint against you.

                              I have requested 4 times through mail to issue me the me the Interest and Principle Paid Statement

                              I have send a request to RACPC - Coimbatore on 10.03.13 but on 11.03.13 I got a call from that office stating that your branch only will provide the certificate, please do the needful and send the Interest and Principle Paid Statement as soon as possible soft copy through mail and hard copy thru post or courier. I have contacted the SBI Race Course Branch Through Land Line but no one is picking the call at all. The RACPC Coimbatore Officials gave the mobile number of the branch but unfortunately i missed the number.

                              Last year the same was deliverd to me the next day. I dont know what happened this year.

                              Four times I have send the mail to the State Bank of India, Coimbatore, Race Course Road Branch Branch No 07940 requesting the soft copy of the provisional interest and principle paid certificate for
                              claiming deduction under section 88 of the Income tax Act for the period 01/04/2012 to 31/03/2013

                              1st mail - Feb 6, 2013
                              2nd Mail - Feb 12, 2013
                              3rd Mail - March 10, 2013
                              4th Mail - March 12, 2013

                              But till date I didnt receive any mail or acknowledgement or certificate or reply for my mails from the concern branch. When I contacted RACPC, Coimbatore through Mail, the next day thier staff called and informed me that only the concern branch can issue the certificate. At present we relocated to bangalore. We are not in a position to go directly and get the certificates.
                              Last year the next day my certificate's scanned copy was send to my mail id and the next day i received the hard copy through courier. This year after many reminders I didnt receive the certificate

                                If you forget your password or username please visit your branch, where the a/c is opened and maintained with a written complaint to the manager(branch) They will solve your problem with in 7 days. I do believe so. In my experience SBI online is good service compare to other scheduled banks.

                                  Sir,

                                  I Mr. S Prabhakar, a credit card holder (Credit Card No. [protected]) of SBI where I have used my credit card exceeding the limit of Rs.30000/-. My card was blocked/ de-activated by the banker. I have hereby cleared all the outstanding in this regards with respect to my credit card on 26th & 28th FEB 2013 with the following Amounts: Rs. 35370+600=35970 and even till date my credit card is not yet activated by the Banker.

                                  I have a query in this regards, If i have to dispose the card after use, i can do it. But as a genuine customer, i have paid all dues with all the penalty charges so far utilized by me. Then as a customer is it fair for the banker to trouble the consumer even after clearing all the payments?

                                  I have logged many complaints in this regards with the customer care and never got a positive response. Where their answer was, it would take min 15 working days to consider the card for activation.

                                    I am a custmor of state bank of india.i have opend a new a/c in branch RAJA PARK, JAIPUR, RAJASTHAN. till now it around 2 months but i did not recive pin no. of my atm card

                                    I have opened an account in SBI.KONNAGAR branch(my hometown) in FEB 2011.
                                    I received the ATM card on FEB 26TH 2011. Still i am waiting for PIN number. I enquired about PIN in SBI KONNAGAR branch. They replied that PIN number is not yet received from there head office.
                                    Now the month is Feb. I dont know how many time i have to go to the KONNAGAG BRANCH (SBI) to get my PIN number.BRANCH CODE NO-02078.MY A/C NO IS[protected].MY CASH PLUS CARD NO[protected].
                                    Please try to solve my problem as fast as possible.I hope that my application will recive the most sympathetic consideration at your hand.

                                    In between I went and ask for the pin they told to re-apply and told they will not charge for that, however 50 was deducted from my account on feb 11 still I din;t receive my pin, don’t know how many 50’s I should pay for one pin request……….. very bad service from SBI…………………

                                    My ac no [protected]. I had broken my atm card due to that reason I had applied for new atm card on 1st Jan 2015 which was received after 41 days but as yet not receive my atm pin. I need it badly. Please do the needful.
