I am Ravikumar, SBI credit card holder ( Credit card number : [protected] )
I had opted for a register and pay option to pay my LIC premium. And before opting for this service I confirmed with the SBI customer care[protected]about the details and they responded that within 3 working days the amount will be credited once you ask us to pay to the LIC.
I asked them to pay the LIC premium of Rupees 48471 on 17th Jan 2011 and the same time it has been debited in my SBI credit card account and it's reflecting in my statement. After 2 days that
is on 19th I checked out with the LIC and they responded that we have not received the amount. Again reached out your SBI customer care and enquired, the customer care executive responded that it will be paid within 72 hours, so please wait and check tomorrow.
Again on 20th when I checked with LIC they said that still they have not received the amount.
Meantime I checked with LIC in several ways to know where the problem is and sent mails to the concern departments and spoke to the customer care officers and I got to know that the amount is not credited to LIC.
So again I reached out the SBI customer care and asked that you say it will take 72 hours but it's more than that and why the amount is not credited? I got a hectic reply that the amount will be credited only on 28/01/2011 that's the date your policy due date. And I asked them that why you people have given a false commitment then ??? and why the account has
been debited even without paying the premium ?
And I asked them to revert the money back to my account, so that I will pay the money through cash directly to the LIC and get my paid receipt and can submit it today as 21/01/2011 is the last day for submission investment proof.
She ( Lavanya - supervisor ) responded me that she will get back to me at 2.00 PM ( 21/01/2011 ) and she will be reverting back the amount.
I didn’t got any phone call up to 2.30 from lavanya , and again I called up the customer care, This time a person called Pavithra had picked up the call , so I asked her to transfer it to Lavanya.
She puts me on hold and said that Lavanya is not available so you can talk to my supervisor ( Sathish ) and transferred the line to Sathish.
I explained the whole story to Sathis again and he puts me on hold for a long time and came back and said that the amount will be paid on 24th of Jan 2011. I.e.) 4 days prior to due date.
I asked him why you people give different response and it’s a false commitment from your end. So please raise a complaint and provide me the complaint number. He responded that the software is in problem so we can’t raise any complaint.
After hearing this I asked him to transfer to lavanya, he puts me on hold and responded that Lavanya is in very urgent meeting so you can’t talk to her now.
I am sure that the below issue will not be resolved immediately and instead I will be losing my money towards tax.
So I had paid my LIC premium through online and submitted the E-Receipt to my finance department and
I had sent an email of the above to the Vice President ( Divya ) '[protected]@ge.com' and i asked her to stop the payment through credit card, because of SBI customer care execuitves false commitment i had suffered and i made the payment to avoid tax.
But i didn't get any response from the vice president . Now my credit card account got debited 48471 and it's paid to LIC. Now it's showing double payment for my policy.
I am really freshtrated and did several follow ups but of no use. For past 2 weeks i am not able to concentrate on my work and totally depressed , it's alomst 50,000 rupees and mentally facing several problems.
I have all the mail proofs i can forward you.
I need the money back and i need compensation ..... they needto understand their fault... proper training needs to be given to the customer care executives.

I wish to inform you that since past 1 years I have not received the SBI Card Just now I have received an Statment showing outstanding amount Rs 1450 against fees & late payment fees. against card no [protected]
Till now I have not received any credit card from SBI, and where is the question of making payment of late payment fees & yearly charges.
kindly do the needful & clear the grievences.
