I got sanctioned a loan of Rs.120000/= during August 2005 under State bank of India Fixed interest teacher's plus housing loan scheme. The fixed interest rate was 8.75% and the floating interest rate was 7.5% at that time. I availed the loan for the higher (fixed ) interest rate since it would be constant and not be depending on SBAR change as per the SBI loan sanctioned letter and memorandum of term loan agreement for housing loan granted to public. Based on the fixed rate of interest, EMI of Rs.11990/= (Ac. No. [protected]) is being paid regularly from my salary.
The bank charged higher interest rate of 9.75% from September 2009 and also fine amount of about Rs.1800'= collected for past six months without any notice /information by violating the agreement to the public.
There is no response from Chief Manager and branch Manager of SBI, for my letters during the past ten months regarding this issue. There is no action from the Managers even Indian consumer forum reminded the bank regarding the issue of collecting more interest and fining without any grounds/reason. Kindly do the needful

    I am using SBI debit card for shopping. Using SBI debit card for shopping is really a bad experience.
    Card doesnt work properly and will lead to invalid transactions.
    I faced this problem thrice.
    Money will be deducted for invalid transactions also and the SBI will not return you the money without our complaint.
    Customer care people will not try to resolve the problem. more over they will guide us to roam around the respective brach.

    This is irresponsible service provided by SBI and they advertise everywhere do shopping using sbi debit card.
    Im really feels bad being a customer of SBI.
    and they advertise proudly everywhere the largest bank in india.

    actually in my college i have taken a SBI debit card for schlorship purpose, it was issued by our college management. Now my problem is that debit card not working while i make transactions through ATM, and it was showing an error message( sorry unable to process, invalid transactions).
    so kindly take my request and act accordingly to my problem.

      Myself Mozahir Alam. Having a saving A/c in SBI, Nalco Corporate Office Branch, Bhubaneswar.
      My A/c No. is My A/c number is[protected]
      On 26th June I made online payment for TATASKY recharge 3 times, Rs. 5000/- each. 1st and 3rd time transaction of Rs. 5000/- each using internet banking completed successfully but the 2nd time transactionof Rs. 5000 was not completed successfully using ATM Debit Card but the amount deducted from my account but not paid to TATASKY A/c. I met the concerned person of that bank immediately but he assured that within 2 to 3 days the amount will automatically be credited. After waiting 4-5 days I made e-complain. But nothing has happened. Then I lodged a complain in customer care cell and suggested by them to register a written complain. Today I have registered the same but not satisfied from their response.

        I am just another user of (no so productive or useful or helpful) SBI bank. For some unknown and stupid reason I choose to have a SBI Credit card and have been paying the price for that mistake for last two month if not more.



        I had some fraudulent transaction done on my account about 3-4 months ago and after chasing and following up and filing dispute cases I finally managed to get the money back on my card and now even though a new card has been issued for last two months with one excuse or the other I haven’t been allowed to use my card. First it was new card and I was told it would take 10 to 14 days to get it activated, then when that didn’t work I called again and was told cause my address wasn’t verified, which is very surprising case for last two years I have been receiving my statements and all other correspondence on this address, anyway I confirmed the address again and was assured card will be unblocked with-in 7 days, as this for sure didn’t not happen I called again and this time there was another story that my land line number for my house is not mentioned on account, so I provided that and was again assured that card will be unblocked within 4-7 days. Again this didn’t happen and I called again on 22 July and this time I was told that for some reason my home address again is not verified when I lost my cool and argued about this they told me sorry it’s not home address it’s work address. I was passed around to 6 different people during a call that lasted over 2.5 hours.



        I can’t be blamed to think that this all is being done cause SBI bank owe me money rather than other way round. Cause god forbid if I or for that matter any individual would have owed money to the bank, your goons would have stuck their hand down my throat to get that money out. If someone owes you guys money you charge interest, what do you do if you owe people like us money. I am sure not interest is payable as per your terms and conditions.



        I just want my money back and don’t want to have any association with such an institute ever again. And would make sure everyone in my circle would know what kind of bank and services SBI has. I have two other credit cards with over 2 lac limit on each and never have ever faced any problems like these may be cause they actually are professional banks and treat their clients as respected individuals. Please get my money back to me asap. That is all I want and stop using people’s money and faith in banks as an excuse to swindle them out of money.

          Dear Sir,

          This is to inform you that on 6th July, 2010, I had paid my bill for Rs.216/- using my State Bank Debit Card through Tata Indicom Site. I got a payment advice showing "Invalid Authentication at Bank", but the amount has been debited to my account. The statement of account is also attached for your reference.

          I checked with Tata Indicom and they say that they have NOT RECEIVED THE PAYMENT MADE THROUGH INTERNET". I have checked with State Bank of India (Fort Market Branch) they say that they dont have any information about this payment because I have pulled the money using Tata Indicom Site.

          Since this amount is debited to my account, but the amount is not yet recieved by tata indicom, then WHERE IS THIS AMOUNT CREDITED. No one is giving proper information about this payment. Each one is passing the matter on one another. Though this amount is very small but I want to get the same at the earliest.

          Hope this forum would take my complain and do the needful.

            There is an account with State Bank of India dimapur branch which is being run as a correspondent to some foreign bank's correspondent in India. Money is to be deposited in Indian currency equivalent of Stg.pds and that man withdraws the money by ATM cards. They are cheating people at large on lucrative promises.

              SBI — CAR LOANS

              I wanted to apply for a car loan at SBI, Deomali (Arunachal Pradesh) where my monthly salary is being deposited. I also want to buy the vehicle from my home state Kerala as it is being used at Kerala. But the BM is in mood to accept the application as it is being purchased from Kerala. Since there is no dealer in Deomali all the applicants purchase the vehicle outside Arunachal Pradesh only. Then why the BM refuses the car loan to me. Since I am a govt. employee, the employer is taking full responsibility for repayment of the loan(as per certificate being given with the loan application).

                with reference to the above subject we are forced by AGM MR.Giridhari lal Manawat of SBI Gandhinagar main branch to buy gold coins. The AGM of Gandhinagar Main Branch frightening and dictating the staff fo buy gold coins.
                This is very injustice to staff. On 20.07.2010 he forced all the staff and took signature of the staff on debit slip to buy gold but he himself did"nt bought the gold.This is not correct . So please look into the matter and act accordingly.

                  I, Md Ainul Khan and I do not have any Credit Card with SBI but time to time I get calls from SBI Credit Card department for payment since 1/2 years in my landline no.[protected]. I have categorically told that I have no card with SBI so you are requested to change my phone no. which is wrongly updated in your record. But there is no improvement till date and today I also got a call from Mr. Chandan Singh from [protected] & [protected]. Now I am bound to lodge a complain with local Police Station and in Consumer Redressal Forum. I do not understand such a Big Bank how it continuous harrassment to a general public without proper data. Please confirm the status immediately.

                    My credit No.[protected]. The sms to my mobile shows Rs.827.11 was due. I am not receiving any statement for the past few months because I thought i am not using the card for the last one year. I cleared the dues outstanding completely. I remember to have received a statement a few months back which has shown no dues. Surprisingly, how that amount was shown as due. My card is valid upto June 2012. Kindly clarify at once.

                    SBI VISA CARD — Non despatch of Renewed Card

                    SBI Card No. [protected] expired on 30th september,2007. Still now I have not received a renewed card in my name inspite of several request over phone and E mails.
                    I am Rasiklal Patel, wanted to deactivate my VISA Card due to the maturity of my FD against which I was holding this card. Half a day I tried to contact the Customer Care people; however, the phone was engaged all the time. Felt that they must be sleeping there. It this called Customer Care? Are they taking care of the customers or wasting time of their customers? Is this the way of taking the care of its customers? Not at all satisfied with the services provided by SBI. I have visited many countries; but not found any such Bank. Is this help line? Whole day engaged? Nobody cares here. They could increase Customer Care workers looking to the high flow. Hopeless and useless service. Is this user friendly? Nobody will say, yes.

                        I have a concern regarding my credit card of SBI which I had 3-4 years back.
                        I had not spent the amount of Rs 32,000 which they billed me for some years. Hence I had paid the amount except for this Rs 32,000 which was due and which was spent by me and had called them asking for the receipt or transaction of this 32,000 which they never got back. However in 2008 their collections team came to my house and we had an argument and they said I will have to settle this in anycase. Finally they asked me to pay them Rs 8000 to settle and gave me a receipt (challan) which said final settlement. Also when I was preparing a cheque they insisted I give them cash as its for settlement. Unaware of the procedures since they were being rude on the phone too I gave them cash and accepted the receipt.

                        After a few months I again started getting calls that I have a debt with them and need to settle it. When I spoke about my payment of Rs 8000 they said its received by them and system is updated as part payment towards Rs 32000 and I need to pay the rest with interest. When I told them about the receipt they said they dont have any such records of final settlement and collections team had not mentioned final settlement in their internal records.

                        Since the last 2 year I have sent them atleast 30 emails explaining the same and asking for resolution and I have got replies from them since a year that they are looking into the matter and they will revert shortly. Every second week I used to mail again but used to get the same reply. On the other hand I am getting their statements with interests being added. I dont why they are not even reverting back even when I am mailing the head of credit card services of SBI. I have all the mails saved in my account which has all the correspondence of their non co-operation.

When yesterday sbi customer care excutive spoke to me i told them for this complaint today they sent a mail to me in that mail they said to me i am lieble for the payment i really dont know what i do. please help me out from this problem thank you

                          earlier onlinesbi webpage was opening in aircle gprs but it is now seen for the last 2 months that the same webpage onlinesbi is not opening because of which i am unable to cary out sbi net banking. i had contacted the aircel customer care and was told that there was no any problem with the operator and advised me to contact SBI .pse do the needful

                            I have been repeatedly calling them & writting E mails to settle the dues & clear my name from CIBIL. But till time I have failed to receive any response.I already paid my dues to the extent of EMI - on the 28.03.2011 thro my SB a/c Pls help.

                            This is to inform you, that i had applied for SBI Credit Card 1st week of March2011,till date it is undelivered to my Office address.On 07.04.2011, I got SMS there mentioned my Credit card application No.[protected] and on 15.04.11, i also got SMS, there mentioned my credit card due amount Rs.3307.90, will b pay 03.05.11,why.
                            should i pay this money,till date i am not receive this Card . Please note at the time i applied your executive told me it will be free Credit card.

                              Dear Sir/ Madam,

                              I had applied for Demat account in Mar'10 in SBI, Civil Lines Branch, Saugor (Sagar) 470002 in the guidance of SBI Demat A/c executive Sh. Vaibhav and handed over the form to him. After One month he intimated me that in demat opening form my signature are missing. In Apr'10 again after proper filling the form & with proper documents i courier him and he confirmed me the receipt of form.

                              Now after approx 4 months, my SBI demat A/c is still to open and now your executive Mr.Vaibhav (Bina) not responding to my calls. His behavior is just damaging the image of State Bank of India in my mind. So, I request you to take needful action against him. and advice me that should i go for other demat a/c products. In other companies my demat a/c may be opened in one week time only.


                              I am waiting for your response.

                              I had applied on 20 Aug 09 for demat & trading account. I had received Demat account number. But still today I didn't receied any thing regarding trading account. No reply to email since last friday.

It appears from my contact with the concerned personnels of Kolkata airport branch of SBI none is bothered with the fate of my Demat application.
                              Being fed up with this branch lackadaisical attitude can I apply fresh in another branch of SBI in my locality having this facility to open demat a/c.I want to open trading account too with the SBI.
                              I have already got an offline trading a/c in another branch. Is it possible to open an online trading a/c keeping my offline trading a/c in another SBI branch?

                              A very long delay in opening of Demat account

                              Without prior notice how can they debit my a/c second time although it is an ECS(being compulsory)? I've already applied to the respective branch at kolkata of SBI-Mumbai as they instructed but yet not credit my a/c till today.

                                My self is Ajay Mehndiratta working as Software engineer in reputated MNC.

                                I would like to draw your attention towards SBI Credit Card recovery agents threat calls.

                                I had a SBI credit card which account no is [protected] in 2007, I used this card and pay the bill through cheque but after some time got call from sbi credit card department that your cheque is dishounered by bank.

                                I contacted my bank and ask the reason that why my cheque is dishounered so they replied that this is not your fault bcz your account have sufficient balance but cheque is presented in wrong way by sbi cards.

                                Then I called customer care and told them the whole story they accept there fault and then I request them to close my account and block my card immediately and told them if still they face any problem in clearing my cheque, they can collect my bill amount i.e. only 500+ as cash any time.

                                Now around after 3 years I got call from there recovery agent that you have due of 10000 rupees and pay it immediately otherwise they take threating action againts me.

                                I heard from lots of peoples that SBI credit card are fraud and they appoint recovery agent who are criminal and threating the public. I know that RBI made rule that no bank can appoint recovery agent like this.

                                I don't understand SBI bank is the leading bank in India and its a nationalized also and still doing same full act.


                                You are requested to take very strick action against them.

                                SBI Credit Card — Threatning calls from SBI Recovery Dept.

                                I have never applied for a SBI Credit Card.
                                I do not posess any other credit card in my life time.
                                But I have received heavy bills for the same. I have told them that it must be SBI's some sort of error. But the recovery team came and assaulted me and my family for the money.They also grabed my mobile phone and Rs.2000 cash which I cash having. Me being a middle class person cannot complain not can fight them back.

                                Since the time my Brother had taken SBI Credit Card he use to pay on time and since we had some family issues he skipped to pay some amount, but still he is directly in touch of customer support and Bank as well.. speaking to them very politely and waiting for the Revert for the email he did to the Concerned Team, Bank and CUSTOMER CARE... And we all know how people in chat process work like. and that to Bank People would treat themselves as the king of all and got all rights to do anything with any one.

                                In the mean while of his wait for the Revert, These Recovery agent Called Raji From Kannan Kavadi Chennai, Don't know if its Real name and Address but this is what we got to know from them...

                                this Agent Despite of requesting for her to wait, she harassed, spoke very badly with no patience irritating by Calling " N " number of time.. she has no proper English to understand such an Slum Dog behaviours.. who dnt know how to talk kept torturing while I am in the office...

                                its my brother who took the card n I was no where involved in and out of this. but as a reference he gave my number as these people should not think as he is absconded.

                                But these people got no understanding sense to get the things straight in their heads at once in one conversation and in one call, hence kept calling for Thousands of time in a day, despite of telling them to wait she kept calling..

                                So I and bro had to turn off our sims as we were in our father was admitted due to cancer.. despite of telling this, this girl such an ### kept bothering us .. and when she found our phones off she and her agency people Stalked our Facebook and tried to find for our Friends numbers who so ever had kept their phone numbers open for their respective business or for other reasons...

                                These SBI people called my Facebook Friends and started to harass them and lied my friends as I myself had given My Friends number stating she is my sister …. and my friend started believe on what this bloody Women called Raji from SBI Credit Cards said and blast me and said she will file a complaint against me …. when I have not done any mistake nor I have given anybody's numbers to this Agent..

                                is this a way to Run a Business.. is this called a bank .? such a cheap.

                                How Dare someone to do this from Agencys ..?

                                That too when we are in touch with the bank and agents but due to their unprofessional behaviours and tortures, calls we had to avoid the calls at our emergencies that is also was been informed to this lady.

                                This has to be taken action.

                                nobody can call somebody like this, not their facebook friends …

                                  I gave request for transferring the account from Ambattur branch To Jafferkhanpet , i also submitted my pass book in jafferkhanpet branch while giving request (15/6/2010). my account is showing the branch name as jafferkhanpet branch for the last one month , but still my pass book is not been processed from the ambattur branch , So i request to raise the complaint on the Ambattur branch regarding the same and process my request as soon as possible ,

                                      This is Mayur Kulshreshtha, having a/c [protected] with SBI, Bodla Branch, Agra. My account has been debited by Rs. 4000=00 when I tried to make transaction on[protected] at ICICI ATM on JIIT Sector-62, Noida. During the transaction I had not recieve the money and the slips for the transactions. In this context I had already made a complaint to the Customer Care no.[protected] but they didn't register my complaint and said that check your Account after 24 hours of the issue so i did the same but the money is still not credited in my account.

                                      so, please resolve the problem as early as possible. Do need ful in this matter.

                                        This is regarding card i holding which is going to expire on 11/08.
                                        card No. [protected]
                                        My mobile number [protected]

                                        There are too many issue with this card.
                                        1.I haven't received any pin number for this card yet.
                                        2.I haven't signed it neither operated.
                                        3.It was a free subscription card when I aplied for it,I was told this.
                                        4.I haven't applied for any insurance.

                                        Now the situation is like that when I am not using it i am receiving bills for it.
                                        I did not fay for it.
                                        I received call for it.
                                        When matter escalated executive told she will cancell insurance.

                                        Again I received call for not payment.
                                        I asked about reason and process to return the card
                                        and i was informed will call back, had received no call.
                                        contacted local SBI branch nerul for returning of card,
                                        where they refused to do so?

                                        I went out of country for bussiness purpose.
                                        Still my familly received call, causing stress to them.
                                        Inspite of being told the status, call happenning to come.
                                        It was happening repeatedly for a week.
                                        who is responsible for it?

                                        Now i received the bill again for amount of Rs. 2060.75
                                        I called helpline and executive asked for the complaint.

                                        I have some questions:
                                        1.I haven't received PIN number without which how card is activated?
                                        2.I haven't applied any insurance not by any call and not signed any document,
                                        How I can be charged for that?
                                        3.Who is responsible for the stress caused by your executive to my familly in my absence,
                                        specially my mother who is patient of low blood pressure?
