Reinstatement of Card No. [protected]; Contact No. [protected]

I have sent 8 mails since January on the feedback.[protected]@ge.com and head.[protected]@ge.com id - and i have received no positive response except automated mails.

I have made a payment of Rs.103026/- through the following cheques in 2009
1) CHQ NO. 087406 DT. 27-07-09 AMT 40,000/-
2) CHQ NO. 087409 DT. 05-08-09 AMT 31,513/-
3) CHQ NO. 087410 DT. 05-09-09 AMT 31,513/-

SBI letter dated 27-Jul-09 confirms that my card will be reinstated on receipt of the 3 payments. SBI Letter Ref No. DEL/REC/FIELD/JULY09/460

Despite clearance of payments SBI has dishonoured commitment of their letter and I have not received the reinstated cards.

Unfortunately SBI has also not updated records and my card account shows a default of Rs. 97,327.66 as on 16/07/2010.

Via an SMS on 16/07/10 at 11.07 AM SBI has informed me that they have sent a Lok Adalat Notice to me.

I called their helpline no.[protected] on 16/07/10 at 12.18 PM and spoke with Himanshu Sachdeva Customer Care Executive who after keeping me on hold for 5-8 minutes informed me that his Manager Kaustav Banerjee has said I should speak with my Lawyer. He did not transfer my call to his manager saying he was in a meeting.

CONSIDERING I HAVE RECEIVED NO RESOLUTION FROM SBI IN THE LAST 5 MTHS IT IS CLEAR THAT SBI CARDS IS NOT IN THE PRACTICE OF RESOLVING CUSTOMER ISSUES AND CONTINUES TO HARASS CUSTOMERS WITH WRONG DATA UPDATIONS AND MOST IMPORTANTLY DISHONOURING COMMITMENTS.

I DEMAND COMPENSATION FOR THE UNNECESSARY HARRASSMENT.

    I Vishal Pokale want inform you that Myself & My mother Mrs.Chitra Pokale want to Open an Saving Bank Account In SBI Byculla Branch for the same purpose today morning i visited along with my mother to SBI Byculla Branch,

    In Branch I meet Mr. Bhuvan ( Counter No 15, Customer Service officer) After checking My Account Opening Form Mr. Bhuvan kept My and My Mother's Account Opening Form with him without given me any acknowledgement and told me come on Monday, We Require Minimum 4 days for Saving Bank account opening

    One more thing I want to Apply SBI Yuva Card for the same i asked to Mr Bhuvan then he asked me What is this SBI Yuva card ? he told me you can get only normal ATM Cum Debit Card but he don't have any idea about SBI banking Product.

    I Just want to confirm with you is this information is correct Given By Mr. Bhuvan to me

    1) What is TAT for Saving bank Account opening ?

    2) Why you require 4 days for Account Opening ?

      On the 11th of July, i was trying to withdraw Rs 500/-for some emergency purpose, while the cash was supposed to be disbursed the power went and the machine got switched off.when enquired with the security guard says they don't have a UPS backup for the machine.

      Imagine an SBI ATM machine without power backup suckers..............,


      I complained to ICICI thet claim it will take atleast 12 working days.

      But the money i needed at that time was a absolute emergency.

I have been trying last two days in your Mobile Help Line only for abortive. My land line at present out of order so I could not try in your Land Line Help Line.           MY FRIEND HAVE CAME FROM PUNGANOOR TO MADANAPALLI FOR EXCHANGE THE RS.500 DAMAGED NOTE, BECAUSE OF MYSORE BANK, PUNGANOOR BRANCH SAYS TO GO MADANAPALLI OR PALAMANER DEMAGED NOTE EXCHAGE.             i am an account holder of your drm office premises, allahabad branch, account number being[protected]. cheque book issued to me was sent through courier though i insisted on it being delivered on counter.i was told about change of rule regarding issue of cheque books.kindly let me know the correct rule in this matter

            I wish to bring it to your kind notice that I have a Saving Account in State Bank of India, Shastri Nagar Branch, Jodhpur (Rajasthan), and my Account No. is – [protected].

            When I have applied to open the above mentioned account in the bank, I mentioned both my correspondence address and permanent address, as same. But about 7-8 months ago, I requested in the bank to change my correspondence address as I am not residing at my permanent address. The Bank accepted my request and made change in my correspondence address, which also reflects in my passbook.

            Then I have applied for a new cheque book in the month of September’2009, as my previous cheque book is about to finish, and asked the Bank Officials to which address they will send it. They told me that the cheque book will be sent on the correspondence address which is printed on the pass book.

            When I have not received the cheque book till 24.10.2009, I wrote a mail to the SBI Helpline. They replied me that the said cheque book has already been sent to my permanent address. I replied and asked that why they had dispatched the cheque book on permanent address as I have already made sufficient changes of correspondence address in the documents of bank. I also requested to block the misplaced cheque book and issue me another cheque book. But I am still awaiting the appropriate reply from the SBI Helpline.

            When I personally visit the Bank at Jodhpur branch, they told me that I have to pay Rs. 50/- (Fifty Rupees Only) for issuing a new cheque book, as they have already delivered one free cheque book for the running financial year.

            You are kindly requested to look into the matter and advice / take necessary action, that why should I pay for a mistake which I have not made at my end.

            Kindly help me out in resolving the issue as soon as possible.

            I Rahul Bhoite having saving account with State Bank Of India at SPBB Deccan Gymkhana branch Branch code 4357 (bank account number [protected])
            I have submited cheque book request on 25th April 2011 still i have not received any cheque book from SBI when i enquired with branch they told me to submit new cheque book request which again submited on 6th May 2011 and requested the cheque book at bank address even after many follow ups i yet to receive the cheque books as per Branch Manager cheque books will be there within 4-5 working days after submiting the request but its now alomst 13-14 days i am still waiting for the same. Being account holder of nationalised bank its very bad experience for me and the bad thing is that no one is aware about status of cheque books every time when i enquire in brahch i got answer that you will get in 4-5 days. Please look into this as it seems peoples sitting there are taking this casually.

              Sub: Complaint regarding unauthorized and illegal demands from SBI Cards and payment services Pvt. Ltd.

              I was a holder of SBI Card No.[protected]. I was not using the card and hence one Mr.Naveen Gupta, Senior Manager Law and Recovery issued to me a notice dated[protected] requesting to settle the outstanding dues of Rs.2,127/- before[protected] to close the account as a one time settlement offer. It was instructed to make payment by cheque favouring my SBI Card No. and accordingly I sent a cheque for the same amount dated[protected] bearing No.190624 drawn on HDFC Bank. Afterwards nothing was heard from SBI cards for a long period. After few years I received a lawyers notice in the year2008 demanding a huge amount without considering the payment I have already made. I have given replay to that letter stating all facts narrated above. Again now the SBI cards has issued a notice to me with a threat of arbitration case for realizing of Rs.33056.37/- on account of SBI card which was closed by remitting entire amount in the year of 2004.The demand made by SBI cards and payment service Pvt Ltd is illegal and with ulterior motive to extract money which is against the rules laid down by the R.B.I and in violation of the guidelines. Therefore your good selves are requested to enquire in this matter and take appropriate action against them from extorting money from the poor and sincere customers like me.

                I am sorry to inform you that I having SB Bank A/C with your branch which A/C No. is [protected] and cheque issued by you in the series From 156886 to 156895 which had registered your system spite the matter I have applied one IPO with my cheque No-156886 @ 6500/- unfortunately that IPO have not allotted us and amount has debited by you which had not issue cheque by us ( Cheque -156866 shown entry in My passbook dated -02/07/2010 )after that you debated amount in my SB Bank A/C .why ?

                Plz look in to matter seriously as soon as possible either you clarify my debited amount or credit in may bank account other wise I am going to take legal action against you with lokpal also.

                  I have a account in SBI Naroda GIDC branch since last 18 years.. Recently i applied for SME CC Loan but Bank denied our loan by saying that they have not giving loan to the firm whose proprietor is HUF. Is bank have right to reject my loan application because of my firms proprietor is HUF..? what right i have against dis... There is no legal right of HUF to avail Loan from Bank???

                    Dear Sir

                    This is regarding my SBI Card [protected].

                    Brief history:

                    Earlier i was using sbi credit card but there services were really poor as i never use to get my card satement on time. I had complaint for the same many times with sbi credit card department but never got the result. The record of the same is with the sbi credit card department as whenever anyone calls the customer care or vice versa all the calls are monitured and a record is always maintained.
                    So as a result of the poor service i never use to get updated with the due date of the payment. And most of the time on reciving the call by sbi card executive i use to pay or they use to send their executive at my office to collect the payment. And if there were some late payment or finance charges put on my account because to non payment on the due date, as it was there fault, sbi credit card executives when required had always waived those extra charges.

                    Now as i was fedup with the poor services i once for all paid all my dues and requested no clancel my card and never used it again. But sbi credit card executives and collection department executives made a wrong comittment by not waiving the extra charges and never calcelled my card. Which Resulted in adding of the finance other extra charges to my credit card account.
                    Now ever month i am distubed by the sbi credit card executives and evrytime i explain the same things. Now i am fed up and sick of all these calls.

                    Kindly check my account if there is any pending principle amout due, being authentic, i will pay everything.

                    My request is that considering that i am innocent, kindly waive all my finance and other charges from my credit card account.I will not do any kind of settlement with the bank as people who do the fraud, who are not good paymasters and are inauthentic do the same. Also i know that if anyone does the settlement, he looses his creditability and gets a negative sataus in the SIBAL and due to which he will never be able to get a credit facility of any kind from any bank.

                    I wanna make you very clear that I will fight for my respect and creditability no matter i have to go the consumer court because i am innocent and for me my respect is the most imp. and its hard earned. And its my right to owe my respect.

                    Hope sbi bank satisfies and helps its customers and is not here just to squzee money from the innocent.

                    KIndly do the justice with me and will waive all the charges as its really humiliating and tourchering which gives me a real mental stress.

                      It is very depressing to experience that all braches of SBI in Delhi refuses to make demand draft. They chase away the customer saying they donot have time or by saying come tomorrow (which never comes) or by saying they donot make demand draft. I am a student and wanted to make a demand draft to purchase an application form but SBI refused to make it. I went from one branch to another but no SBI could make a demand draft for me. SBI is responsible for destroying my academic career.An action should be taken against SBI for their irresponsible and rude behaviour to customers.

                        On 12.07.2010 I went to State Bank of India, KG Marg Branch to deposit money in the morning at 10 am. They informed me that money for non-home branch can not be deposited in the morning hours. You come after 1:30, then we will start taking money for non-home branch.

                        Again I visited the said branch at 1:30 p.m.. They gave me a Deposit Form alongwith token no. 310 at around 1:35 p.m.. At that time display board was showing token no. 245 at counter no. 1. The total no. of token from 245 - 310 is 65. It took 2 hours to deposit my money.

                        Is the rule to deposit money for non-home branches at 1:30 for all branches of the state bank of India or only at KG Marg Branch.

                        Why this branch take 2 hours time to deposit money.

                        So, please kindly look into the matter.

                          As usual you have failed in giving prompt response despite of receiving payment of Rs.2334/- and credit to your account 10 days back. Over & above that, statement of July is hurriedly generated for Rs.16000/- plus without reversal of charges. To add to insult, your executives of HO (Gurgaon) have started insisting for more payments by calling regularly. It is shocking to note that they do not know the basis for receiving payment of Rs.2334/- (Yesterday Mr. Javed from SBI Card, Gurgaon wanted to know why the payment of Rs.2334/- has been made) and they say that they do not have hint of any communication (read trailing mails) being exchanged. I really doubt affairs of SBI Card Organisation which is worth for investigation by Dept of Revenue & Banking, Ministry of Finance.

                          Dear sir,

                          It is nice to see your reply after very long. But I would like to put forward my comments as below :

                          1) My EMI for the month of June is dropped in the first week of this month itself.

                          2) I would definitely make additional payment of Rs.2334/- subject to receipt of proper bifurcation of the same. No doubt, it will be paid no sooner did the receipt of required bifurcation.

                          3) It appears Rs.2334/- include charges on account of two late payments. But as informed to Ms. Rajlaxmi, I had to go out of town to attend sick relative which is worth condoning. Still if insisted, I would have no alternative but to pay.

                          4) Last but not the least, I need a clear line of confirmation from your end that as on date only 5 installments of Rs.1950/- and 1 installment of Rs.1836/- (i.e. balance) are pending to be paid by me. (pl. refer my mail of 3/3/2010 for reconciled data)

                          Looking forward for the quick response for early settlement.

I really fail to understand why lot of energy is being wasted on this exercise when reconcilliation clearly indicates that amount carried forward in Sept 08 is incorrect. When it has been clearely told to pay the encash in EMIs, how come your people can claim that near about 20% is payable in first month (i.e. around Rs.9000 shown in Sept 08). They had no answer to given when asked to show this clause in encash sanctioned/granted letter. Dear AVP, Looking at the marginal amount involved, still I suggest better you accept the facts and contiune to get the balance EMIs (as per my earlier email) rather than indulging in same old stories and misguidance.

                          This has reference to call from your office followed by trailing mail. As informed to caller I would like to repeat that dual treatment to single transaction is not acceptable to me. In other words while sanctioning encash/verification of the same (through phone calls) as well as while releasing the cheque for encash amount, it was told to pay back in equal EMIs for predetermined period in writing by SBI. Then how come initial statement can show the due amount as Rs.9744.14 instead of EMI for that month when no other transaction has happened under this card ?. As informed to caller, demand for payment of financial charges or interest is irresponsible and beyond justification.
                          You will observe thru my mail dt. 3/3/2010 that agreed amount of EMIs have been paid on regular basis and amount payable as on 1 April 2010 stands Rs.17436/-. Again & Again I would like to stress that reversals have taken place neither at my instance nor linked to any default.
                          I don't agree with settlement proposal as predetermined period for pay back of encash is still to be over. Deactivation of card is entirely done at your descrition as I am not a party to it nor I have any interest in it.

                            on 9th of march, i was apply online for a check book, from a personal banking office of SBI with a option to be delivered by courier.
                            then it shows that your check book will be deliver in five days, and they charged a amount of rs.300 from my account, but mujhe meri check book abhi tak nahi mili hai.
                            so i want to take action against SBI.

FROM 4THE MARCH, TO 18THE MARCH 2009. I HAVE DEPOSTED RS.1.48.500/-((RUPEES ONE LAKHS FOURTY EIGHT THOUSAND FIVE HUNDERED ONLY).AND AS ON 26TH MARCH,2009.BANK HAS PUBLICE NOTICE IN DAILY NEWS PEAPER "SANDESH".

                                AS PER SARFASAI ACT.2002. WHEN AMOUNT OF OVERDUE IS MORE THEN 20% OF THE PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST THEN ONLY BANK CAN ISSUE SARFASAI NOTICE.
                                AFTER DEPOSIT RS.1.48.500/-(ONE LAKHS FOURTY EIGHT THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED ONLY.) UPTO MARCH,2009 BANK CANNOT PUBLICE NOTICE IN NEWSPEAPER.


                                IN THE ABOVE CASE OFFICER OF THE BANK HAS MISUSD THE ACT. IN THE ABOVE MATTER RESULT IS MENTAL TOURCHARING AND DISCREDIT IN THE SOCIETY.ONLY AND ONLY BECAUSE OF MISBEHAVIOUS AND MIS USED ACT BY THE GUILTY AND ANTISOCIAL BANK OFFICE..

                                  Respected Sir,
                                  This is Dr.S.R.Kannan, from Gandhigram Rural University, India. Due to some emergency I have used my Canara Bank ATM card to take Rs. 15000(in three transactions) from Chinnalapatti SBI ATM on 5/4/2010. But I have received only Rs. 10200 instead Rs. 15000(Rs.3400 in each of three transactions instead Rs. 5000). The same has happened to other customers (one SBI customer and one Canara bank customer) too. I think the SBI customer has been paid the difference amount already by SBI.
                                  I have given complaints with many higher authorities of SBI, Canara Bank, and RBI, from the date I left my money in Chinnalapatti pirivue ATM Tamil Nadu. With my initial complaint to Mr. Shanmugavel, Teni ATM SBI, I have received the positive message that “the difference amount Rs. 4800 has been traced out and soon it will be deposited on my Canara bank account”. Further I have received positive replies from Account Officer of Ambathurai SBI.
                                  In the meanwhile Canara Bank tried to recover my difference amount Rs. 4800 from SBI on my personal complaint to Canara Bank Manager, Gandhigram Rural University, Dindigul 624 302, but they have been denied to recover money by SBI stating the reason that “Dispute not valid, transaction successful”.

                                  Actually the Tani ATM SBI people wrongly placed Rs. 100 denomination in the box of Rs. 500 denomination, so that we have lost our rupees at SBI ATM Chinnalapatti pirivue, Dindigul District, Tamil Nadu. You know, after immediately we lost the money at ATM, the shutter of ATM has been closed by my instruction to the Security of Chinnallpatti privue SBI ATM. Further the printed transaction at ATM shown that Transaction is successful.

                                  Sir the Tani ATM SBI people know about the above information very well already, you know I have my cell phone contacts with Mr. Shanmugavel, Teni ATM SBI. Mr. Shanmugavel has called me many times on 5-10/4/2010 by his cell phone and he asked me to wait for 10 to 15 days for getting back my money from SBI ATM. Since I am having aircell sim, you can trace these calls with Aircel Company.
                                  Sir the behaviour of SBI people is irritating me lots. See for the past three months I am giving e-mails to many officials of SBI, but I feel that my complaints have not been taken in proper manner. In this situation I have no other way than Court, so I feel that why can’t I go to court along with another customer who has left his money from SBI ATM Chinnalapatti pirivue, Dindigul District, Tamil Nadu.
                                  Still I believe the authorities of SBI, so I wait for another few days. Perhaps I have not been received any positive solution by SBI, sure I can place my prayer with court.

                                  Canara Bank — irritating behaviour

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  My A/C is in canara bank in Malviya nagar, but i live in Sarita vihar. I have a current account. It is not possible to operate from Malviya Nagar, so i operate it from Sarita vihar. but the staff of canara bank in sarita vihar is so rude to costumer, they never talk in proper way , they never answer any of query gently, they deny to withdraw the money from sarita vihar branch, they don't provide statement.
                                  I just want to know what is the meaning of core banking system ? Am i not entitled to obtain facility from any branch? Is any branch can deny to give us these facility?

                                    For financial year 2007-08,SBI ,Lake town,Kolkata -89 had deducted as TDS a sum of Rs 5664 from me on Fixed Deposit Accounts.),On 26/05/10 IT Dept has sent me an intimation charging penalty along with this amount.I immediately gave the branch a letter and they verbally conceded that both for 2007-08 and 2008-09 they have not deposited the TDS to Income Tax Dept.Although they agreed to solve the problem,but not yet done. In spite of intimating the Head Quarter Grievance Cell of SBI at No-1,Strand Road,Kolkata to solve the problem of 2007-08 first nothing has been achieved.
                                    IT Dept is obviously charging me as they have not received the amount although the amount was shown as TDS by me in IT Return.Bank has issued me Form-16A for this amount of TDS.Why the IT Dept is not catching SBI,as it is a serious offence in the bank part that they have not deposited the TDS amount ,although they have issued Tax Deduction Certificate to the Customer(myself).

                                      I am cheated by SBI people in the name of Heritage Holiday Trip Package.
                                      I gave into this offer and paid Rs.6500/- on believing their offer is genuine.

                                      In November 2009, they sent me booking form along with a wrist watch gift.
                                      I filled the form and sent them by giving dates in April'2010 for different destinations.

                                      I didn't receive any acknowledgement/response from their side. When
                                      On seeing that the dates are nearing I called them then they told that the dates I
                                      mentioned not avaiable so send revised dates in the month of july' 2010. I did that.

                                      On sending revised dates also no response. I called them again they told that your trip is
                                      confirmed on April' 2nd in the booking and you did no't use offer. When I told them you have
                                      not informed about confirmation and you only asked for revised dates. Then they said we will takeup revised dates. Then i was pursuing them from past one month daily calling and talking to them. They are saying that you will receive confirmation today in an hour. "This is Humble Request wait for one day". One fine day they also mentioned that "It is raining and Servers are not working".

                                      Today they are saying given dates are not available so send revised dates for Aug'2010. I give up i lost interest in holiday trip and their offer.

                                      So, Credit Card Holder beware and not get into their trap. I spent most of my money and time in talking to Heritage and SBI executives but it is of no use.

                                      I want to know how deal with this kind of fraud?. whom to contact?

                                      I have also been cheated for buying this product.
                                      you have genuine concern and would like to suggest the following:
                                      1) Call The Priviledge Circle Helpline (not SBI) and ask for cancellation.
                                      2) Record their conversation on phone. Do record they denying and not teling you about the cancellation policy (if they don't tell you, you should not ask for it)
                                      3) Give recordings to SBI Ombudsperson through e-mail (Remember dont give complaint to Customer Care head but only Ombudsperson). Check your state and pick Ombudsperson accordingly from the following weblink http://www.sbilife.co.in/sbilife/content/11_3781. A chart is available there.

                                      HI I have also got cheated with this, when i called the heritage people and this sbi bank, they auto debited amount from my card, the calling person said u just need to press this button n u will be enroll for it the next moment i saw a message you have been deducted 6500 amount from your credit card,

                                      Then when i called them and filled the form they said non availability n u will need to get flight tickets and then lots n lots of problems, you call sbi bank they will help and all the unnecessary issues they created .

                                      I got so irritated with this & one of my friends also got cheated like this and she is also in problem . help us out
                                      I too gone through the same experience. SBI deducted 4000 something August 2010, I did not notice it and asked sbi after 4 month from the deduction. SBI replied they will not revert it. There is no communication from Herritage package. I did not even find their customer care no. could you please help me.

                                      I have also been cheated by Herritage Holidays & SBI card in the month of May where I had to pay Rs 4545.I complaint SBI card about the clever trick of snaching money. In the mean time the phonebankers convinced me that once I start using Money Saver Card I will understand its benifit.Lastly I agreed. I got a Gift kit with a money saver card.Gifts are all of cheap quality(not as mentioned in the website).The money saver card is from Prime.More surprising that the card is not at all for eastern region(SBI knows my state) where as the phonebanker assured me that it will be accepted in all popular outlets like Big Bazar, Pantaloon etc with 25% discount.
                                      In the meantime I went through the complaints in the consumer forum and came to know of the victims of such trick. I made sevral correspondes with the SBI card people giving all the complains of different people as mail attchment.Lastly I gave up hope of getting help from SBI but not in the court of God.
                                      Now Its clear that there is a big tie between Herritage and SBI card.I have stopped and made others stop to use this card.
                                      This fraud practice is going on since last 3-4 years.Now my question is that what is the role of Consumer court ?

                                        I had booked a train ticket from Chengannur to Bangalore on dated 08.07.2010 through my SBI debit card no[protected] and the name of card holder is kunjabihari Nayak but due to expired of booking session the ticket was not booked and I had checked on irctc page refundable status there was written that payment has not received from the bank so what can be do and how can i will got the debit money Rs -322/-.
