This is the very worst experience with SBI bank. I am a pensioner of Central Govt. and having my account in SBI from the last more than 10years.

Every thing was going good till i have not SBI ATM. last year I applied for ATM card and same has issued to me after 3-4 months.

From last 6 months some amount is getting debited from account with the transaction id as same as MY atm card No.

Immediatly i I visited my Bank and got resolution same will be credited in your account.

Again some good amount has debited and when i spoke to Manager he told He can't help me out.

Now I decided to close My ATM and when reqeste to manager to do the same he gave me a tolled no that is [protected].

I requested to block my ATM and got the Ticket No : AT[protected], But till date my ATM is not closed and again 1300 has been debited from my account.

I have sent a mail to Mr. O P Bhatt and his sec. has forwarded the case to local branch but till now no one has turned up.

Mene online cheque book ke ek request di thi. jo ke mere correspondence address par nahin pahuchi. issue wali cheque book series thi - 196210 to[protected] leaf cheque book) online a/c balance karne par mene dekha ke mera A/c 1000/- rs se debit ho gaya, jo ke issue wali cheque book ka last cheque tha.jo ke mere A/c se 22-2-10 me CASH Cheque
    ch. no. 196235 RS 1000/- se debit ho gaya. mene bank me jakar branch Manager aur Accountant se jakar enquiry ke aur es transaction ka voucher no nikalwaya to mene dekha ke kisi ne mere name se signature kar rakhe the. jo ke mere signature se nahin milte hai. aur bank staff & branch manager ne mujhe koi response nahin diya. aur na he unhone mujhe koi proper response diya aur signature mere match na hone par bhi unhone mera a/c 1000/- rs se debit kar diya.aur mere sath rudely behave kiya. jisse ke mujhe 2-3 din se lagatar chakkar kat raha hu but bank ke taraf se koi sunvai nahin hai. unka attitude mere taraf positive way me na hokar negative hai. please mere compain note karke mera a/c 1000/- rs se credit karaye. aur bank ke staff ne jisne yeh kam kiya hai uske khilaf action le.

    State Bank of India — Forgery Debit

    Old No - 43, New No - 12, Sivakumaran Apt, 2nd Floor, Lakshmipuram, Thiruvanmiyur,

    Apr-2006 State Bank of India Credit card Division offered the EMD option (Rs.30000) through DD.
    But, i didt get any DD. So, i immediately raised the issue to the Credit card division.
    They verified and they canceled that offer on Jun-2006.

    After an year i.e on May-2008, once again they credited Rs.30, 000 to my card.
    And after a month i.e on Jun-2008, they again debited the same.

    According to Dec-2008 Statement, once again they debited Rs.30, 000. I complained through phone
    and sent the mail to feedback.[protected]@ge.com about that debit.

    According to Jan-2009 Statement, they again credited Rs.30, 000. At the time, i felt the problem got
    solved.

    According to Apr-2009 Statement, once again they debited Rs.30, 000.
    I immediately complained to the SBI officials, but still the problem is not recovered.
    Whenever i called, their executives answered like "investigation
    is going on, wait 2 or 3 days".

    After that every month they debited interest and late payment fees. Frequently, they are calling and
    asked me to pay the amount which comes Rs.35, 000 approximately.

    Note:
    I have proof for all the transactions from April-2008 to June-2009 as a Bank statement

    SBI collection executive call me everyday and enquired regarding the payment. I mentally disturbed by them.

    I want them to revert back all their wrong transactions and unwanted late fee, interest against that Rs.30000. Kindly help me soon.

    SBI Credit Card — frogery with cheque

    myself dr ranvir singh had dropped the crossed cheque of Rs
    40071/00 in favour of SBI cards at lajpatnagar branch drop box, from there it had been flicked & with
    a fraudelent instrument a gentleman by the name of ajay singh had
    withdrawn Rs 40000/00 from mine account in cash from mine primary
    bank,allahbad bank.now none of the bank is taking responsibility & i
    am suffering because of none of mine fault .& its not only me, i know
    couple of other individuals,a couple of them had allready received
    there money back, from there primary banks. immediately after geting the information i lodged the complain in lajpat nagar police station,but till date there is no reply, in fact now i had filed RTI,
    i had allready complained against this to the main branch of allahbad
    bank,there response is ,we are looking into the matter.same with the
    SBI cards. after long wait i aproached the ombudsment, but in the mean time, because of my job i shifted to ireland, & i was unable to make my presence at the meating organised by ombudsment,& they come to conclusion that cash was given in a nice gesture & nothing wrong about it,in the mean time i was constantly writing to the SBIcards to resolve this issue, initialy i had word with there security officer & he accepted that he is aware of the problem & things will be sorted out & i dont have to worry my money is safe,but for how long i should wait,it had been more than a year now.with every communication there answer will be same we are looking into matter, & now they are threatning me for legal action.
    i realy dont know what to do

      State Bank of India — Account Holded

      Respected sir,

      I want to inform you that currently i am using S.B.I saving account [protected], My main branch is blaming me to withdraw Rs. 13000/only using my ATM card but the balance in my account is only Rs. 3000/only

      But for your kind information i want to tell you i have not withdrawal any amount from my ATM. For instance you can check the statement of my account you will not found any transaction report.

      Now problem is that branch (ETAWAH MANDI) has not accepted my problem and blem to me for this type of transaction. Currently my account [protected] is holded by the main branch.

      So please check all information about my account and solve my problem as soon as possible and clear my payment.

          Dear Sirs,
          Despite my several e-mails, besides others to the Head of SBI Credit Cards, I am not receiving monthly statements of my SBI Credit Card No.[protected] for the last 2 to 3 years except an SMS from TA SBI CARD "Dear SBI Cardholder, your Statement Dt........has been dispatched. Total amt. due of Rs......or min. Amt. of Rs.......is payable by ........(generelly 5 or 6 of each month) - SBI CARD".
          If the monthly statement is dispatched as is apparent from the SMS, why the same is not received by me as was received by me earlier. It appears that the statement is disptached only on paper and not in fact.

          SBI Credit Cards — non receipt of statements, late payment fees, no proper answers from customer care

          The amounts has been paid very regularly as per the purchases,
          The concern of any customer to get his monthly statements properly, many times I find that the statements doesn’t get delivered properly.
          When we raise the request for the reversals, asking is the bare minimum atticasy, still u penalise with abosolute baseless answers and nonsupportive answers from the customer care guys.
          Being a customer for some years we listens to nonproductive answers from the customer care people.

          REQUEST PLZ SUGGEST US AT THIS JUNCTURE A ESTEEMED BANK OR ITS REPRESENTAIVE SAYS US REVERSAL NOT POSSIBLE
          U CAN GO TO ANYWHERE,
          I GOT A ANSWER SAYING IN FUTURE ALSO DON’T ASK FOR REVERSAL , WE WILL NOT GIVE U.
          DO U THINK THAT THIS IS THE ANSWER A GUYS WHO REPRESENTS SBI TELLS _NAMELY MR JAGDISH

          NOR EVEN WE GET ANY CALLS FROM THE CONCERN TEAM LEADER EVEN AFTER ESCALATING, BASCIALLY THE LOWEREND GUYS DO NOT GIVE THE PHONE TO THEM.

          I[censored] feel that I have narrated anything wrong about mr jagdish, I am sorry he is not fit to be in that line.
          RS 800/-IS AMOUNT WHICH PINCHES ANYBODY, PLZ TELL MR JAGDISH PUT HIM IN ANYBODYS SHOES, THEN HE WOULD BE ABLE TO GAUGE THE TENACITY OF IT.

          Request kindly look into it advice


          THE MOST HURTING IS THAT THE WAY MR JAGDISH HAS DISTORTED THE IMAGE OF SUCH A BIG BANK.
          AND CONVEYING RECKLESS ANSWERS.

          SBI Card — Non receipt of monthly statements by post

          I have not been receiving monthly statements from SBI only, although i receive statements from all other companies like ICICI, HDFC, HSBC, tec. Please make some arrangement so that we receive the statements and help us make payments on time without penalty. Or please arrange to send them by reputed courier service.

            I received a call from sbi credit card saying that i have become a privilage member for which i will get a welcome kit (with a watch, domestic ticket,holiday package) for 6000+ Rs.I agreed to receive to their deal.same day again i received call from sbi credit cards after some hours ,that time i felt the deal is not fair and requested to cancel , but they said it cannot be cancelled then and they said it can be cancelled after receiving the packet.I did not receive any welcome kit but it was been billed in my statement.so again i called up and after several follow ups i came to know they have dispatched to old address,then i went and collected from there.I was upset with the gift pack,watch was not good,flight ticket/hotel booking have several conditions where i am given only base charges free.i understood it will be waste for me,so i called sbi cc back and requested to cancell.they are refusing to cancell. please help me out in this matter.

            i[censored] want to b healthy in ur life please do not ever take any credit card..!!! what drives me to say this, , ? I'm a doctor n made a mistake to take this special credit card for doctor by SBI...!,

            it began with sending a wrong card, after breaking my head over, i got that corrected. everything with card was ok for few month.

            suddenly they stop sending me a bills, after enquiring with them they told me that henceforth it will be send only on my email account, after fighting-out with them that they can not do that without my consent and as i was not really internet savi then, thing were reversed

            but it was short lived joy for me and after couple of month they again stop sending me the bills..! here i took decision to cancel the card and as per the SBI norms paid my dues and got my receipt of payments.

            as per their commitment they were to send me a settlement certificate till date it has not come., but in the meantime they harress me for end number of times for the dues god knows which..? recently i got a demand notice from their from legal cell with very indecent language for the amount rs.12223.11

            when i called them for clarification ms. Anita spoke to me on phone, after giving her all the details which i have preserved for more than 4 years, she promise to get back to me with the concern official its been one week no one contacted me.

            i want to teach them a lesson but the only catch ... that i don't have enough time as i 'm a busy practitioner. my card no is [protected]. settlement cheque no.893638, bank of India, dated-7.6.2004 for rs.6100/- temporary cash receipt no.2013002. mr.gavate was a collector.

            SBI Credit Card — Fake credit card (Agent demand to pay balance amount without receiving any credit card with us)

            Dear Sir,
            My mother named Smt.Shakuntala Devi have been filled an application form to obtain a SBI Credit card in the beginning of the year of 2004, by through the agent namely Mr.Akash Singh, Mobile No.[protected], Senior Executive, Payment assistance, SBI, First floor, Awtar Building, Road No.2, Gurudwara Basti, Bistupur-831001, but we have received neither any credit card nor any subsequent date to recieved the same.
            Now in the month of June 2008, we came to know from office agent namely Mr.Akash Singh, to pay the balance amount about Rs.Twenty thousand, on the basis of issued SBI card, which is wrongly interrupted by office agent.From the date of filling an application form till date we have not recieved any type of credit card.
            Mr.Akash Singh from day to day threatening us over our residence telephone and used to visit our home two to three times a month, for the due amount.
            There is no questuion of the balance payment amount instead of on credit card.As else nothing question of balance payment amount.
            It is therefore request to you that a proper verification should be verified which would become the truth the subject matter.
            If any further information you need in detailed to solve our problem please let me know.

            Dear Sir,

            I am (very sadly), SBI CARD credit card holder (CC No.: [protected]) since the past 5 years.

            I have not received any statement from your side nor any SMS from your side since 24 th April 2008 till today 25 th July 2008, and all of a sudden today I get an SMS from your company that some amount is due on your card which you needs to be cleared.

            When I called your customer care this morning, they told me that this is a late payment fees and Interest charges on my card for the payment which I have already cleared on 27 th April 2008.

            When I have made my earlier payment of Rs.10350/-, I have made it clear from your phone banking officer that this is the final payment (as there were some late fees involved) and here after “there is no dues balance on this card” and your Phone Banking Officer has agreed that this is final balance dues on my card.

            All of a sudden today you have generated some statement and asking me to pay the Rs.1528.83.

            When I called up customer care and told them that “I am ready to pay this amount, but please confirm that this is the final payments and hereafter there is no any dues balance afterwards”. But your phone banking officer Ms. Ritu is not willing to cooperate and not ready to confirm that this is the final amount. I feel that this is clear CHEATING as after three months you may again generate some false statement and try to swindle me for my money.

            Is this is the only way remaining to keep State Bank Credit Card Department alive?

            Please get somebody who has some sense left to reply and tell me the EXACT amount which I can pay and finally get rid of your card.

            I WANT TO CANCEL THIS CARD PLEASE CONFIRM IN REPLY MAIL THAT YOU ARE CANCELIING THIS CARD AND HEREAFTER NO FALSE STATEMENTS WILL BE GENERATED ON THIS CARD.

            I hope you will cooperate with me to get rid of this Card.

            i have an sbi card holder card no.[protected] that after cearing my settlement by your company agent that the seetlement will be that on the payment of rs.10500 which i gave him a cheque on[protected] my a/c will be fully settled and after that all the balance will be shown will be credited to your a/c and i take it from the settlement letter and also the receipt of cheque no.579956 of rs.10500 dated[protected]. but your agent cheated us and after passing the cheque the balance debited amount will not be credited to our a/cand after that the statements were sent to my home regularly and i call it to the customer care centre very times but it doesnot response me further. so sir please closed my sbi card a/c and also clear the amount which you are debited to my card a/c. if you don, t do this i will go to the court for legal proceedings against your company.
            The Consumers Legal Protection Forum (CLPF) has filed a Rs 54,990/- damages suit against the SBI Credit Cards and Payment Assistant Unit of Gurgaon, Harayana for allegedly cheating a customer of mobile handset. The case was filed in the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Kamrup, Guwahati under Case No. 129 of 2009. The Consumers Legal Protection Forum chief co-ordinator Advocate Ajay Hazarika and Forum's member Advocate Subhas Mohan Sarma filed this case in District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Kamrup,Guwahati. The SBI Credit Cards and Payment Assistant Unit had given two poor quality mobile phone handsets to Atul Chandra Das, Guwahati under its Priceless Scheme. The handsets became out of order but the company refused to act on the complaint from the customer. The court has issued a show-cause notice to the company and fixed the date for the next hearing . The Consumers Legal Protection Forum (CLPF)provided free legal aid to such like victims since 2008. CLPF also filed numbers of cases against this private company in Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum of the state.

            last month i got call from the Sbi credit card customer care center. They gave me one Encash offer.
            In this offer they said 12 EmI 9% interest. GST on interest. So i chooses 25000 offer for that they said 500 processing fee, 2270 Emi +GST tax. But after i got cheque for the 25000 ,but they immediately debited 2270 for EMI and 87 for GST and Total Interest of 2500. I'm totally un aware of 2500 amount. They cheated me . It was never told about that, even i get 3 verification call for confirmation .Even no one informed about that.It's totally wrong .

              i have opened savings account in SBI vedayapalem branch. My account number is [protected], i didnot receive my debit card till now, i contacted vedayapalem branch they told to contact customer regarding Debit card.
              I called customer care they told me "u can go and give complaint with branch because we dont have detaila about ATM card". But again i contacted Branch, but they are not properly taking request. Nobody is taking request for new Debit card.
              Please kindly help on this.

                      Dear Sir,

                      I was using a SBI Credit card which for some bad billing and unceesery charges i have decieded to close the account

                      I am receipt and letteattaching a receipt of Rs. 40,000.00 against my full and final settlement vide receipt no.8827214 dated: 19/07/2007.

                      Please note I did not have any intention to re-use this card, hence there has been no tranaction after this payment. So the intention was to settle my credit card a/c bearing No: [protected]

                      This has been told repeated to officthe SBI officials but it was unheard. I was told by SBI team once the cheque gets credited I will get the settlement letter which i have not received either .

                      Now i am getting a regular calls and threatings from the call centres for which i am very harresed and mentally upset. This is a complete cheating to me. Seek your help sir

                      SBI Credit Card — False Charges

                      I am holding SBI credit card in my name since 2007. From that period, within 3 months i have been receiving charges regarding 'Payment for Policy (Life Insurance) for Royal Sundaram when i have not purchased any such policy. I also have no communication/details regarding this particular policy from Royal Sundaram/SBI. I have frequently written to SBI regarding this matter, but there is no action. Wherever i have used/swipped the card I have made the payment on the due date. (there is once payment of 2300 odd INR, except that i have made no purchases with the same)

                      Now they are thtreatning me with legal action. Please help.

                              I have applied for a home loan on 3/3/2010 from SBI main branch new delhi. I have consulted the concerned officer there for the formalities and necessary documents several times before submitting my papers. The officer receiving the application requested me to purchase a LIC policy from him which I refused as it was not required by me. After 2 or 3 days I received a call from that officer that some of the papers submitted by me are missing and may have been misplaced by the loan sanctioning department. (This attitude was very shocking and not expected by me from a bank like SBI). However I sent those documents again through FAX. On enquiring the receipt he has shown disinterest in the documents saying those are not clear and shown his busyness in work. After 12 days on 15/3/2010 one of the bank staff visited to my wife's school being co-applicant with me in my loan for verification and collected the pay slip of my wife and also told that he will visit for verification at our residence next day. But the same person knowingly that we both are not available at home tried to enter our home on the same day but could not succeeded as we have instructed our children not to open the door for strangers due to criminal activities in delhi area.
                              On coming to notice this incident i called that person for this undue acts but no satisfactory reply was given by that fellow and it looks that these fellows are hired without any police verification of their character/antecedents. However it came to my notice after some days that this fellow has submitted a negative report without coming for verification on next day after taking necessary appointment which seems that there are some malafide intentions on the part of this fellow. It is also came to my notice that files for home loans can not be cleared without personal efforts/making favours to the dealing hands which seems true by my experience.I have made complaint on 11/3/2010 and 19/3/2010 on banks website but no reply has been received so far. I am waiting for the sanction of my loan which will be delayed by bank due to ill efforts of some employees of the bank but I am very sorry that I could not help them for what they want.

                              I had applied for home loan around six months back. I took the final decision & asked the concerned person full details. The person who handles the back office updated that he would reject the case. My case finally got rejected after follow up for six months. I am going to file for RTI 1. Why it was rejected 2. Why SBI needed six months to either approve or reject the case. Why this happen in Delhi is hard to understand.
                              SBI wanted me to put registry of my new plot(against which loan of Rs 1500000 was applied) as well as registry of my ancestral property( worth 80 Lakh) to approve my home loan.

                              So total guarantee of Rs 1 crore is expected for loan of Rs 1500000 in SBI.

                              other then we they were also expecting us to bribe them.
                              It is not worth taking a loan from SBI.. Employees dont have responsibility / onus... Someone was stating they are permenant employees they dont have targets and all.. From outside it is all fair.. They had sold an insurance for me of 90k premium for a cover for just 5 yrs.. the worst product ever seen. this was done to be ELIGIBLE for the loan.. The employee asked bribe stating the file is not moving sir... that too at 9pm in the night over phone.. There is no guarantee that after loan tenure you are going to get back the documents too.. the senior manager is not capable of tightening the juniors as his hands are tied by associations and politicians.. otherwise too he is too old to shout... While processing the loan if system gets restarted.. that's it... they will call and shout at the systems guy, who will be in other location... i made a blunder by going with SBI..

                              plz dont partner SBI for your dream home.. SBI could make it a BAD DREAM

                                I had given the Account transfer letters along-with our passbooks for our PPF accounts to be transferred to our new address in Gandhidham Gujarat. Our accounts in the existing Andheri (W) branch got closed on 8 January 2010 but the funds have not been transferred to the Gandhidham branch for more than 3 months despite follow ups. I am unable to deposit any money for the financial year tax purpose nor I am able to operate my account due to this delay.
                                How can an established and big bank like SBI have such poor processes and utter lack of follow-up on pending service requests. Is there no internal audit process to identify and fix these gaps?

                                State Bank of India — Transfer of PPF account

                                I had applied for transfer of account from PPF account from SBI Vikas Sadan,New Delhi (8005) to Raipur Chhattisgarh Main Branch(0461) .
                                My account has been closed at New Delhi on 07.07.2009 after that there is no response. SBI New Delhi says they have sent the draft but Thane Branch informs that they have not recieved it and i cannot deposite my money since my account has been closed at New Delhi branch nor i can withdraw the deposited amount.

                                  We have 2 deposit account under Senior Citizen Saving Scheme in
                                  State Bank of India, BO - A-1, Lal Market, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi - 110063.
                                  One of the account no. is [protected]. Manual pass book has been issued for the
                                  said deposit. The branch people have categorically denied to make the entries in
                                  the pass book by saying that the interest credited in the account on querterly
                                  basis was transferred to the saving bank account of the depositor. After credit
                                  & debit the balance remains the same and there is no requirement for making
                                  the entires in the manual pass book.
                                  >My view is that the deposit account and
                                  the saving bank account are entirely different accounts. The interest from the
                                  deposit account has been transferred to saving account by virtue of the
                                  instruction given to the bank to credit it on quarterly basis to the saving
                                  account. The interest has been credited first to deposit account and then by way
                                  of debit to deposit account it was t/d to saving account. The depositor has full
                                  right to know from the bank by way o[censored]pdation of pass book of deposit account
                                  to ascertain what amount has been credited to the deposit account and out of
                                  amount credited how much has been t/d to saving account.

                                  i think everyone in SBI is either sleeping without any tension or playing the game with the cutomers. The so called best but worst bank can not resolve a complaint even after a period of > 2 months. This is absolutely contrary to what SBI claims for its image. Let us see how many months will you take to resolve this complaint.

                                  this is the position a complaint is handled in the so called best but worst bank in india.                                   state bank of india — No separate staff for passbook updation

                                  Dear Sir,
                                  I have an account with State Bank of India, Gateway of India Branch, Mumbai.
                                  There is always heavy rush for different transactions. Some account holders only want to update their passbooks. But there is no separate staff kept to operate the printer. As a result, all people have to stand in a long queue. Moreover, there is no token system. Hence everybody has to physically stand. This is hardship for senior cityzen and weak persons.

                                    Hi, I am holiding SBI Magnum Tax Gain Mutual Fund. Folio.6107679. On 05 Mar 2010, they declared dividend of Rs.4 per unit. But so far I haven't received the dividend amount. When I enquire CAMS/SBI Investor Service Desk, they are telling that, the dividend is on HOLD. Also they don't know the reason for that. When I get the statement from CAMS, it shows on 05 Mar 2010, dividend amount for my balance unit. May I know how to proceed on this issue?

                                      Dear Sir,
                                      Today I went to Krishnapuri branch of state bank of India to verify about my cheque transfer or not from sbi to sbi which was given to incharge on Saterday about 12 pm,yet not transfer. I asked him we will suffer and in account of contact details you are not informed. Mr. Ramesh Lal just shut his system and start abusing....once I object, he start heating inside the bank premises. I was fully injured, start bleeding and met sensless.I was trying to defence but he and his supporting colligue bitterly heated till got senseless. After that bank staffs help me to branch manager chamber and help me to recovering sense. Branch Manager mr Ravindera jha was absent...so I called to Mrs. Sarla Narayan, regional manager, sector -2, she called me and asked to given written complaint. My position was not good, right eye injured and bleeding continuosly, I called my friend and driver, after 1st aid, went to regional office and met Mrs. Sarla Narayan, given written complaint, she assured me to take action.
                                      My request to consumer foram to give justice for the same so that people feel secure to visit sbi bank.
