Dear Sir,

I am Barath Surendran, running my own training business for past 1 year and I am an Account holder in State Bank of India – MKB Nagar, Chennai A/C No – [protected] since my child hood. I have been a customer of SBI – MKB Nagar and today – 22nd April 2010, I had been to your MKB Nagar branch to enquire about possibility of opening an Current Account for my Business (which is a proprietorship at this point of time) and wanted advice. But, the branch manager of MKB Nagar (I think, he is newly appointed at this branch) treated me badly and was asking for a license in order to run a training business. I want to know what license? And it turned into a big fight. At last I have said to the manager to come and meet him after I registering my firm as a Partnership entity.

I hope people of India have the right to run businesses and have accounts in nationalized banks. I want you to know that customers are sometime treated very badly. Hope you understand.

I Jasraj Singh had a A/c in SBI even my whole family having a A/c in your bank we had total 6A/c and 2 F.D.I am writting this mail to you because i had sufferd lot due to your staff's bad behavior. I went to Jeevan Sudha building in Park Street Kolkata there i had just met with this type of disgusting behavior.One of Your satff in 4th floor of Jeevan Sudha her name is sanchita and one sir his name is gopal was treating to me and my father like a king and queen. They was on their chair and we were waiting in lobby from long time. Then one of your agent came to us and was saing that they dont have a time they will talk to you on monday then we just told him that we were waiting from long its ok Sanchita will talk to us on monday but please tell her to come once she was not in cabbin she was having gossips with Gopal and even she was lokking us then ur security went to her and he told her that we want to talk to her once for a second but she told that she will not come. then i just told her maidam please listen to my conversation once but she just ignored me and and went to her chair and then mr gopal came to me and told that we will not do your work do wat ever you want to and was saing that we are a officer we will do wat ever we want its my wish i will talk to you or not he just said this to me and went to his chair and then i was just standing over their and looking to their faces but they were continue to gossips. Then after i just returnd to my home. Hope you will look on this and i will also get reply from your side .. Waitng for your reply.

    Subject:- Complaint against SBI Branch Thane West

    I Mr.Prasad patil has applied for Home Loan on 2nd March for TATA properties of Boisar from SBI BANK Thane Collector Campus Branch,as SBI was having tie up with TATA SHUBH GRIHA PROPERTIES,Previously as I visited SBI Agiary Lane-Branch the executive Vishakha patil was not paying attention to us when we asked her abot the loan she said us to visit the boisar branch which is far from thane,as we we requested her on phone she shouted that please dont talk to me and said do whatever you want ,Later on when we visited Thane Collector Campus Branch and they said that it can be done through thane branch and we dont have to visit Boisar,But today two months have passed but still the Loan has not been sanctioned as the quartely installments from TATA are extremely high of 81854 quarterly we were looking out for Loan of amount 4 lac 44 thousand from SBI,but due lack of concern from SBI again we had to pay the installment of 81854 to TATA,Every now and then they are asking for some or other documents which is not mention in checklist like NOC from the working Company.We have spoken with Mr.Ahir (Branch Manager of Thane Collector Campus Branch )contact number-[protected]/[protected] but he threw the loan papers and said the inspection will be done through SBI Naupada Branch-Thane which was really below the level of expectations from Branch manager,As we visited Naupada Branch Assistant manager Rashmi Ramteke([protected]/[protected]) said that there is no person available for the site inspection as were not convinced with her answer she said we have to visit Ast.General Manager C.B Sawant of Naupada Thane([protected]/[protected]/[protected]) who replied in the same way saying that we dont have any executive to inspect in boisar,as we tried to convince him he shouted at us saying it cannot be done from here and was extremely rude again guided us to Thane Collector Campus Branch to speak with Mr.Ahir .Every now and then we are just going from one branch to another but we are not getting any resolution,This has really became a mental harrasment for us the next date of paying money to TATA is again coming closer ,Please reply us soon contact number [protected]/[protected]/[protected]/[protected]

      I am a Defense Pensioner, drawing my pension from State Bank of India, Faridabad branch ( Branch Code 00734 ).
      My Acct. No. is [protected].
      I want to get my Salary Certificate for the year 2009-10, showing the pension paid to me for the year 2009-10, and pension arrears paid as a result of award of VI th Pay Commission, since 01Jan.2006.
      Separation of Pension and Arrears is necessary to enable me to prepare and submit FORM 10E, Under Rule 21AA, under section 192(2A) for claiming relie[censored]nder section 89(1) by a Govt.Servant.
      I had made such a request to SBI Chandni Chawk Branch who were kind enough to inform me that this subject is dealt with by STATE BANK OF INDIA, CENTRALIZED PENSION PROCESSING CELL, CHANDNI CHOWK, DELHI.110006 ( MAIL ID sbi.[protected]@sbi.co.in ) They further, very kindly, forwarded my message to the concerned branch.

      My communications to STATE BANK OF INDIA, CENTRALIZED PENSION PROCESSING CELL, CHANDNI CHOWK, DELHI.110006 ( MAIL ID sbi.[protected]@sbi.co.in ) are neither getting acknowledged or replied to.

        1. This is in connection with the above mentioned subject for which complaint was lodged to Public Grievances Cell, State Bank of India, Parliament Street, New Delhi on 12 Jan 2010 vide letter No MD/PP/03 dated 12 Jan 2010. On 03 Mar 2010 I received information vide No GM(NW-1)/COMP/11677 dated 23 Feb 2010 from the above mentioned bank stating that the complaint has been forwarded to CPPC Chandni Chowk, Delhi for the necessary action. But so far no information has yet been received from the CPPC Chandni Chowk and nor from my Bank i.e. SBI Nangal Raya, Delhi Cantt-10 where my pension account is held.

        2. You are, therefore, requested to instruct the said banks to expedite the case as it has already been delayed, at your earliest possible please. A copy of my letter forwarded to Public Grievances Cell, State Bank of India, Parliament Street, New Delhi is fwd for your necessary information please.

        Subject: - PAYMENT OF INTEREST TOWARDS DELAY CREDITING OF PENSION AMOUNT

        Sir,

        1. Most humbly and respectfully it is submitted for your kind attention that my PPO No S/CORR/143115/2009 (ARMY) dated 10 Jul 2009 (photocopy attached) was received by the State Bank of India, Nangal Raya Delhi Cantt-110010 on 03 Oct 2009 for crediting of my pension amount worth Rs 4, 62,018/- due towards my gratuity, commutation and pension arrears. The aforesaid amount was due to be paid to me with effect from 01 Jun 2006 in my pension account No [protected]. But it is brought to your kind notice that the said amount was only credited on 07 Dec 09 i.e. after a lapse of 65 days period, thus, putting me unnecessarily in financial loss to be incurred on the interest of this huge amount. Photocopy of my pension account No [protected] where the said amount has been credited is enclosed for your necessary information and ready reference please.

        2. Sir, I am a retired JCO and my pension is the only source of livelihood for my entire family. Hence you are requested to issue instructions to the concerned bank to pay me the due interest on the aforesaid amount with effect from 03 Oct 2009 onwards for the entire period at your earliest possible for which I shall remain ever grateful to you.
        3. A photocopy of RTI application form dated 17 Nov 2009 which was submitted to the Bank manager, SBI, Nagal Raya, Delhi Cantt-10 in this connection (please draw your attention on sub para (v) page No 2 of Para Ser No 5 of the application) is also enclosed for your necessary information please.

          Respected Sir, i m a Defence Scientist working in DRDO, a ministry of Defence lab. in Timarpur. sir i have opened my account in ths SBI, SSPL branch with many difficulties because the staff of this branch is not cooperative and as well as having no manners. sir after opening account, now they are refusing to give internet banking to every person who is approaching them. sir, in our job there is a very hectic schedule and it's very difficult to go out of the premise. if we have to do reservation, then have no internet banking facility and thus are helpless. so you are highly requested to please look into the matter and take action with immediate effect. i shall be very grateful to u for this cooperation. regards,

          Respected sir,

          This is second time i suffer problem in sspl timarpur, this time my bad experience with lady staff in sspl, becasue of there 10mint work i take 2days off and i am not only one person who suffer that problem,
          3 days i was just go for neft service activate of my account first time she said i am busy come next day because she doing her pending work and second time when i go then she was in off and third time i was reached Saturday1 pm because of my work i was late i know but she talk badly and she is not cooperative nature and she behave like uneducated person and, i want to know that if person is not able to deal with public with manner or resposiblity and not want to work properly why give a such a huge resposiblity of public dealing.this time i not give any proof but next time with vedio i will complaint..

            I here undersigned would like to bring your kind notice that I am the SB a/c holder of State Bank of India, Kaleswararao market, Vijayawada branch bearing with the a/c no. [protected]. I have visited the SBI ATM situated at benz circle, vijayawada to withdraw amount of Rs.20,000 from my account on 17th April 2010 at 13:17. While operating the ATM, I have pressed the button to withdraw Rs.20000 from my account where the amount has automatically transfered towards donation to Shri Saibaba Sansthan trust (Shirdi) as a result of which Rs. 20,000 has been transferred from my account to Shri Saibaba Sansthan trust (Shirdi) a/c bearing with the no. [protected] (Transaction ID:8942, ATM ID:S1AN[protected].

            When i approached the SBI local branch, they said that they are helpless in this regard. When we contacted the trust over phone they said that even they are helpless in this regard. There is no response for my written communication sent to both bank and the trust so far.

            I belong to a poor family presently working as an executive for a private company at vijayawada at the monthly salary of Rs. 4000 pm. As I am not intended and affordable to donate above said amount to the trust, request your intervention in helping me to get the refund of amount of Rs. 20,000 to my above said a/c at earliest possible for which we would be very thankful to you.

              Problem faced during Cash withdrawl using SBI-ATM
              Dear Sir,

              I, Rajesh Kumar Tiwari holding S/B Account No.[protected] with State Bank of Patiala , Okhla Inustrial Area (50343). New Delhi wanted to withdraw Rs.6,000/- from State Bank of India ATM, MAUDHA , ATM ID S1AC00113601 at 11.56 hours on 03/03/2010 , (Vide TXN No.3900, ATM Card No.[protected] but only I could receive Rs.4,500/- instead of Rs. 6,000/-, due to some problem in the ATM. I have reported this matter to my base branch 04/03/2010, but till date the problem is not resolved.

              Therefore, I would request you to help us to resolve the matter and arrange to credit Rs.1,500/- to my savings account.

              It is unfortunate in our country that such problems in ATMs are coming. It cannot be but handiwork of some employees/technicians involved in the process. Because they know nothing well come out.

              Bank authorities/RBI should take initiatiave and evolve some policy to deal with such matters.
              i withdrawal 500/-from my SBI ATM but i didn't get any cash but same amount is credit
              from my account even through i complaint to my base branch SBI Vasant Vihar they said to me to complaint to customer care, pls arrange me my money back to me.

              I, Arjun Kumar Sah holding S/B Account No.[protected] with State Bank of India, Sitalpur (Code - 5786), Chhapra (Saran), Bihar to withdraw Rs.10, 000/- from HDFC Bank ATM, ALWAL, Secunderabad (AP). ATM ID S1ACHY21 at 19.22 hours on 01/02/2011, ATM Card No.[protected] but I do not receive any ammounts and any reciept. Due to some problem in the ATM. I have reported this matter to my related branch 01& 03/02/2011. But I have not gate any wel sugession about this resolved problem.

              Therefore, I would request you to help us to resolve the matter and arrange to credit Rs.10, 000/- to my above savings account urgent please.

                  I hold an a/c with S.B.I since-1981, retired and residing with my son, during this period my a/c was transferred to Delhi Uttam nagar branch, at present I am at noida after a number of reminder a/c was transferred to noida-62 branch and mode of operation changed to single, I am 71 years old and feel difficulties to operate my a/c. I have requested a several times to rectify this mode of operation and issue A.T.M -cum- Debi t card for easy banking , but till date they have not help me either way.

                    i have been offered this so called benefits by sbi privilege circle for which i have paid Rs. 6000/-. At the time of offer they told me that i will be given a one way ticket from any place to any destination in India and i will have to bear the taxes and surcharge. I agreed to their condition. Now they are offering me a private airline ticket and asking me to pay another Rs. 2330/- as taxes for the same. I refused to pay , my complaint is why they cannot give this benefit on Air India where the basic fare is high and taxes are low. why are they offering a private airline ticket where the basic fare is low and the taxes are high. At the time of offering the benefits i was not told that they will provide me a private airline ticket , had i known about this earlier i woudl have flatly refused this offer. I feel this is another way of cheating the public by not explaining the terms and conditions beforehand. I now demand an explanation from them and ask them to provide me with an Air India ticket .or refund me the fare from Bangalore to Mumbai whcih is approximately Rs.3000/-.

                    Yes, I have the same view as Brinda thinks. I have fallen in the same trap, now. I have written this to SBI Card waiting for their feedback. I do not what is the fate of this.

                    SBI previllage circle is really a fraudulent offer. it is not at all trustworthy. I too experience this card offer. what they charging to your credit card you will not be getting even 1% of benefit out of it. While accepting the offer they told that one way free air ticket for myself and my family up to 2 kids except for taxes shall be given. At the time o[censored]sing actual offer they are not providing complete fare with taxes and discount given. further it is told that due to pick seasons it can be avail for myself only and not to my family. If i want i need to call at other tel nos and request them.

                    Further they did not give me the accommodation listed in their voucher and I have to accept in some other hotel accommodation. It was all i intimated they well 2 month before of my journey but they fail to answer me on time and on last minutes telling that no other accommodations are there and have to accept this one. I was surprised when i took accommodation in that resort that there was no one there in the whole resort except my family. The whole resort was empty as it is not good resorts to stay for family. The one day rent of resorts was just Rs 650/- per couple per night. which comes to Rs 1300/- for 2 night. The accommodation was given by holidays heritage Pvt Limited. People at telemarketing are just passing buck on either SBI or Mumbai office, Air traveler office and Delhi office for all your queries. No one gives genuine answer. They are just using SBI name for earning money.

                    I still not cannot used air ticket voucher due too all their fraudulent tactics.

                      We have a Saving Plus account in State Bank of India Phoolbagh branch, account no. is [protected]. I have given two cheques of Rs.10,000 each (cheque nos. 004744 & 45) dated 08/04/2010 to Indusind Bank and these cheques were dishonoured on the false plea of INSUFFICIENT FUND whereason that time Rs.334694.96 (Three lac thirty four thousand ninty four and ninty six paise)were in our saidA/C.Again cheques were represented in my account on 13/04/2010 and those cheques were again dishonoured on the false plea of ACCOUNT CLOSED.

                      And again two cheques have bounsed which were given to the RELIANCE SHORT TERM FUND for Rs. 49,000 (Forty Nine thousand ) each (004737 & 38) on 07/04/2010 on the false plea of INSUFFICIENT FUND while at that time Rs. 334694.96 (Three lac thirty four thousand ninty four and ninty six paise only). were in our aforesaid a/c.

                      For your own fault you have debited Rs. 450/- from our a/c.Your wrong act has caused several losses to us e.g.to reputation,and to finance etc,which is estimated around Rs.ten thousand.

                      Therefore pl.refund Rs.450/-wrongly debited and credit Rs.tenthousand in our a/c.by way of compensation for losses and damages and us accordingly.further be pleased to fix the responsibility of your erring staff and recover from him the amount paid to us.

                        i hope ke aap is complaint per kuch na kuch action jaroor lenge, rajouri garden sbi bank branch mein itna bura haal hai ki sab employee ko apne se matlab hai. customer preshaan hota rehe usse matlab nahi hai,
                        roj waha ladai jaisa mahool hota hai,
                        mein bhi jhel chuka hu inko. koi kisi customer ko response nahi deta hai ek table se dusri tabel per bhejte rehte hai. agar aap ne phone kar diya to uska ya response nahi milta ya phir call ko transfer karke rakh dete hai customer bechara latka rehe so plz sir agar koi is complaint ko dekhe to plz kuch action karna plz because customer ko roj roj bank mein dakhe nahi kahne padege

                          I Parmanand sharma, working in FCI Raipur, I am a Saving account holder of State Bank of India Main Branch Raipur, A/cs No. [protected], My Employer has paid an amount of Rs. 8654 through cheque No.236745 Dt. 5.4.2010 issued by State bank of India, Kutchery Branch Raipur, which was diposited by me on 9.4.2010 in my account as shown above in the SBI Main Branch Raipur. As per the prescribed deposit slip I have mentioned my Mobile Number [protected]. for communication if any. when during the withdrawal of money through ATM I have obtain a mini statement, in which the said deposited cheque was not cradited in my account, when Inquire about non craditing of the said cheque the bank employee has told me that due to NPA your cheque can not be cradited, I asked what is NPA, he replied me you can not understand. When I asked the higher Officer of the SBI about the e-mail address of the banking lokpal and other authority he did not provid the require information even the authority also has not co-oprated me and ultimetly I am going to lardge this complaint.
                          You are requested to cradit the said amount in my account and interest on the amount should also be cradited from 9.4.2010, and give the suitable instruction to the concerned Bank authority

                            I observed very bad expiriance regarding the SBI banks employee behaviour with customer having there accounts out of Mumbai city.

                            I have visited Branchs of Lokhandvala kandiwali to deposit my mony in account belong to pimpri Branch.
                            Inspite having single window service the SBI person told me that account holders of another city have to stand In another window que which was obviously very long.So that time i was in hurry...
                            so when i visited on another monday at 12 PM the SBI persn told me for the account holders of another city , the timing is only 10 am to 11 am.The peson want to deposite the mony only have to come in this time frame only.

                            After this whenever i try to go to complaint about this i never found the Branch Manager on his place. Now whom to complaint about this???????

                            I have never observed such a bad service in any of the SBI Branch.

                              Dear Sir,

                              I am handling the sbi account for last five years. but today my day was spoiled because of guard of sbi branch rajouri garden.
                              today i went to bank for deposit some amount in my A/C. then went to the token machine to take a token but made a mistake on the machine in operation,guard was standing there and looking at me. even giving me right information , Suddenly he told me that he will going to slap me on wrong operation of machine.

                              i want to ask that is the right way to talk to customer. on this behavior of sbi staff i m going to close my A/C with state bank.

                                i ARITHA LAVANYA BANDELA having an a/c in the sbi Eluru, andhrapardesh. a/c no [protected]
                                when i tried to withdraw rs 15000 from my a/c [protected] on 18th april around 7 pm from the sbm atm chithanyapuri,hyderabad at the time atm machine switched off so that i could not recievd any money nor any reciept from the atm .
                                but when i checked the balance from the other atm after an hour the balance was deducted from my a/c.

                                i requested you to look into this matter and take corrective action and help me for return my money

                                  SBI Customers are suffering because of shortage of bank staff
                                  We customers are always suffering here in this SBI SUTIHAR BRANCH, it’s for all the work, even for deposit also we have to stand in big queue for three hours. Its not a queue, it’s a crowd. A gentle man can not stand there.
                                  Only one counter works full day…..BM, Accountant is sitting inside the locked area, where a normal man can not approach.
                                  I personally met branch manager, he tried to convince me, but as I a understand that he himself can not do any thing to solve this, he can not increase staff. I talk to his senior …..He also surrendered.
                                  1] There is big gathering for deposit and withdrawal.
                                  2] It takes big time for fix deposit.
                                  Can any one tell me how many months more we have to suffer? When the situation will improve…
                                  This branch need more staff….so there will be less suffering.
                                  I hope SBI will look and solve this matter immediately.

                                    I have an account in the SBI branch(1522) in BEHALA(KOLKATA).My account NO-[protected].In recent bank statement in my passbook,I find ATM annual fee have been deducted thrice ie-Rs150.00.Unable to understand why three times fee have been deducted though I am holding only one ATM card The number of which is[protected].I am using only the above said card time to time.
                                    Hope you will enquire the matter and arrange to returne the excess ammount fee duducted.
                                    I would like to mention that all other banks' ATM cards are free.
                                    Hope you will also make it free.

                                        SBI Main branch in coimbatore is comparitively a big one than other branches here. Today i went for ATM pin reset and to pay my loan interest. The worst service offered by the bank was clearly evident as no body was clear in which table i could get a particular service. Having brought a 70 year old woman with me, i was redirected to at least 10 tables without proper information. They were not ready to give me the loan account number which was linked to my sb account.They wanted me to find the account for myself ( This account number was not given when i took the loan nor was written in the loan card that they provided ). Also when i said the loan account number and asked how much interest should i pay for the given period, they said that i need to calculate the interest for myself and pay the interest. Even after paying the interest ( i calculated myself) they refused to put an entry in the card that was given by the bank. They said that they can provide only the counter foil which is again only my handwriting.

                                        Nobody in the bank was ready to help as they kept redirecting to tables without an answer. I have never seen such a worst treatment to customer in any of the banks.
