My father had one NRE/FCNR account ( USD amount) with Patna, NRI branch.
After my father passed away (2007) when requested to transfer into my new account, SBI manager instructed to arrange for the succession certificate from Patna Court.
We had received the succession certificate in Feb 10th, 2017.
Upon receiving the succession certificate on Feb 10th, 2017 Mr. Dinesh Kumar, Manager(NRI Division) and Chief Manager ( Raghwendra Kumar) at SBI located at West Gandhi Maidan, Patna 800001 started giving instructions one at a time for the required procedure.
Bank said that they will verify the authenticity of the submitted succession certificate.
Mr. Dinesh Kumar does not know all the rules for opening FCNR account. The process had been lingered up to Feb 21st, 2017. I had been harassed for every step. I didn't get the USD amount yet. Both officials and mangers are so incompetent that they put me in a vicious circle.
State Bank of India [SBI] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
