Dear Sir,
My complaint is regarding SBI branch, Sector 7, Chandigarh. The staff do not co-operate with the customers and give false statements to the customers. I'd been wandering here and there since December but till date my complaint has not been resolved. There are two madams sitting on the 1st floor of the branch giving false commitments to the customers. They asked me to submit them the application for the amount deducted twice and they will get it resolved and its February now, almost 2 months has been past and still i do not know what is the status of my application.
Details of my complaint are as below
1. My account has been debited by Rs 23 twice as on Jan 30 stating insufficient balance whereas my account had enough balance to process the payment. It has been done wrongly by SBI.
2. Again, my account was debited for a purchase made at McDonalds, Dlehi for Rs 184 twice, however, I was reimbursed only once but the payment made by me second time was again declined. I had to pay from my other bank account. I contacted Mcdonalds for the same and they stated that they have not received any payment for the same. I should get the reimbursment for the same.
3.Again SBI deducted Rs 23 four times as on Dec21 stating insufficient funds in my card for the payment that has been declined but my account shows that I had sufficient balance which is for Rs 3785 which can clearly be seen in the account statement.
4. I ma holding one card for SBI, whereas today dated Feb 12, the SBI deducted Rs 175 and Rs 115 for the ATM card i am using and when contacted the customer care, they replied that i am using 2 cards for SBI. How come SBI did not closed my first ATMcard for which i was issued a new card. This system is of no use. My first card was tempered and I surrendered that card to SBI and they issued me a new card but how lazy their staff is as they did not blocked my 1st card and issued me a new one.
You can check my account statements and if you see that my balance was not sufficient for the transactions than you can deduct my amount but my balance was more than enough for those transaction. I would kindly request you to look into the above matter or else I have to go to consumer court for this issue and please kindly ask your employees to process the customers application further., i know they are just not processing the customers application further and when a customer enters the branch they ask them to write an application and submit and commit that they will process the application further.
I would rather say that SBI online system and staff is really pathetic and because of a few people the consumer has to face the consequences.
I am also forwarding this application to the PMO office in case my issue wont get resolved, i will definitely raise my voice against such practices followed by SBI.
