I want to inform the senior authorities of state bank of india about the increase in mismanagement in their branches. Today i went to the bank for the opening of my account. Firstly i want to tell that this was my third visit to the bank for the same thing because someday the person who is responsible for opening account was not present, another day they were not free, and now i am asked to come after two day to take my account number.
Besides this, the passbook entry is also not being done since three days, not even on the third day today of my another account. What i saw in the bank was its miserable condition, lack of manpower or management, but the customers are not served in the way they should be.
They always say, "the server is down, you have to wait but for how long we cant tell". If this happens one day, it is tolerable. But if starts happening daily, i want to say please do something.
Today, the limit was that a miserable person was about to cry today, he was requesting every person joining his hands please help please help me. That moment i decided that this is too much, someone has to say this. When i asked what happened. He said he comes from really far village and this is the third continuous day he is coming to the bank to get the entry done but today also they are saying the computer is not working. He cried and said please help me. Everyone raised their voice, but the employees said they could not help. I want to ask then who will help, who is going to serve the customers of the bank if even on the third day their work has not been done.
Another case of today only, a old person whose flight was at noon today for bangalore was waiting for his draft done which he requested for two days back and he was told to come today and pick it at 10 am in the morning. But when he came today the draft was not ready, he shouted that he had his flight, then they tried to help him.
But what about that poor person who had to leave again on the third day without being served and no guarantee that his work will be done tomorrow or not.
My suggestion to the bank is please keep a feedback box in every branch so that each and every person can write to you his problem and complaint. I am writing to you but not everyone can write like this. Please take that complaint box seriously and read our complaints to serve the customers in the better way. Please guide your employees at kavinagar branch.
