My membership id is 1216286. I got lured by their salesman in 2016, who showed a rosy pictures and tons of benefits for grabbing the membership.
I joined the membership by paying over 2 lacs rupees. But then I moved to UAE with my family without taking any holidays due to which I am unable to take any holidays.
I stopped paying ASF( annual subscription fees) because I am unable to take any holidays.
Sterling holidays kept on adding ASF year by year from 2016 onward. Now sterling holidays is intimidating me to pay ASF DUE of 62672 or else my membership will be cancelled.
It was my mistake to take the memberships which I never utilized and just payed over 2 lacs for nothing.
It is my advice to never take a membership with Sterling.

        I booked a room on June 30 and canceled on July 1st owing to New covid restrictions in my city. I emailed asking for a refund and was told that I would only get a credit voucher. It's been five days since I confirmed. However, I have not gotten my money, or the voucher. No response to emails or calls.

          Dear Sir/Madam,

          This is to raise a fraud dispute who's taken Sterling trip's name and has offered a credit card and as a benefit that one would get free holiday once a year with sterling trip taken a payment of 7000/-

          After paying, I have not got any confirmation email, no card has been delivered yet, their phone numbers have been switched off now, I can mention the numbers here as well.

          My payment was done via credit card and even if you can't do a refund please make sure this doesn't happen with other people by using your name.

          Request you to look into this at the earliest and if you can help i'll be happy and the same will be appreciated.

            It was commited that my refund to be initiated in month of April but due to lockdown. It was delayed and till date not made any payment . I am chasing for my money from last one year . As your sales executive paras shah swiped my card without informing me and later on insited to do onetime holiday or he will lose his job . Stop fooling people and please give my money back. I am now tired of calling to sterling holidays customer care every day. please provide resolution Asap.

              Membership is cancelled on 07th Jan 2021 and as per the terms by Sterling, money to be refunded back in 60 working days. But till now money is not refunded. Every month Manas from finance department calls me and says that by next month, money will be refunded. But this never happened till now i.e. 5 months from cancellation. Every time a new commitment is given and they don't keep their commitments. For online transaction, they say they need 1 month which actually happens in a day.
              For returning my money, why do they need soo much time?

              Expecting a better response by refunding the money in a week time.

                I had booked travel for October 2020 and had to cancel because of Corona and local demonstrations.

                Sterling provided a voucher till October 2021.
                Then they cancelled the voucher in Feb 2021 claiming they will refund the amount which has not been processed.
                They kept saying it will be processed in 10-15 days but has not been done till date.

                Can someone take responsibility and ownership for this and refund the same at the earliest.

                    I purchased Sterling membership on 20 sept 2020 from Paras Shah on down payment of Rs. 33000/- .
                    Membership ID - VNT1245706

                    After few days he forcefully asked me to mail sterling holiday to stop EMI from my card. And later told me to pay him personally 25000+10000+4000 so that he will give me additional discount and Ill receive membership for 50% discount.
                    Now sales executive Paras Shah has stopped responding. And nor he is refunding my amount.
                    I talked to Sterling customer care and they also refused to refund my amount.
                    Its been 8 months of mental harassments and therefore I am also filing complaint.
                    I want complete compensation for this and strict action against sales executive

                          I had booked Sterling Durshet - Nature Trails on 10th Feb for March 5th-March6th 2021 (2 Rooms for 5 People and 1 Infant). I cancelled this trip as 3 members got detected for covid and cancelled this trip well in advance on 22nd Feb . I called and cancelled this trip and also mailed the information (Account number ) and they assured me that i will get a refund in 7 days . Its been more than 10 days now and i have never recieved any acknowledgement for my Email .On Call they always say they are waiting for approval . No Idea what this approval is . I have sent multiple mails (6-7 Mails) from 22nd Feb for cancellation acknowledgement but havent received any response for them . They said i will be getting 90% refund but havent got it till now . Please let me know what is the status of my refund and when will i get it ? Now They have stopped taking my calls too.

                            I recently booked a stay at Sterling Sariska from 13th Feb- 15th Feb 2021 from Agoda (Booking.com), booking ID[protected].

                            For this booking, Sterling has charged credit card 3 times in total.

                            I have mailed Agoda as well as Sterling for refund of excess payment but till now has not received any word from them.

                              Firstly, when we were in check-in process, 2 staffs came and started selling membership without caring that the guests have just arrived and are not refreshed. This implies that business is more important than the hospitality.

                              Secondly, taste of breakfast was really not upto the mark. I will give a rating of 5 out of 10.

                              Third, the staff at reception were dull and not responsive. Seemed that they were not happy to receive us. We have been to hotels where welcoming there guests are a must to do.

                              Fourth are the activities like playstation, casio, air hockey etc which were all paid. At the time of booking, it was nowhere mentioned that only some of the games like ludo are free. Cant believe that a SIMPLE dart game was chargeable. Hotel is charging us such high rates and providing ludo carrom as a complimentary activity.

                              This was our first and last time visit to sterling
                              If these are the services, why not to invest in some other property.

                              Hope that these issues will be taken care at least for other guests.

                                Dear Sterling Team,

                                Your sales team member, Mr. Saravanan & Sathis given full wrong informations about your properties & facilities and collected the membership fee from me. I had a visit to your one holiday site and found that all the given information were wrong.
                                Before payment I had a detailed discussion with your sales team and they promised me that incase anything wrong you can cancel the membership but now after many reminders also no response from your sales or operations team and neither they are returning back my money also. Now your sales team (Saravana kumar) not responding to my calls and giving wrong information saying that my complaint team will response to your complaint.
                                If I will not receive any response from your side then I will consider that you don’t want to return my money and I will stop further payment EMI

                                I have given the complaint to Sterling Holidays sales and operations team on 4th Feb 2021 but after three weeks also there is no proper response from there side.
                                Their grievance handling team member, Mr. Manas Kumar talked me roughly and asked do you have any proof about all complaints which you are giving when I said no because everything was verbal discussion with your sales team. After that he replied that i this case we'll not refund your money whether you like or don't the services. He said that there is no policy of cancellation in our company whether you like or not the services.
                                Their head grievance handling team, Ms. Anushka not getting time to talk to me or attend the issue also. Now every one from Sterling Holidays making stories and passing the responsibility to others ..
                                The sales team(Saravanan & Sathis) who was praising their company like it is the best company...now that same team i replying that Sterling Holiday is worst company to go ahead with holiday memberships. According to them company make fools to the customer and latter on the sales team gets all the shouting from members and management.
                                My request is to address it before this company make fool OR cheat some more people. They do not provide any proper documents where all the terms and conditions should mentioned.
                                They do not provide any documents where all the services and amenities list mentioned..
                                They do not provide any grievance center / team contact No. and email ID, to whom we can approach in case of problem.
                                Purposefully sterling holidays management maintain the entire process very unprofessional way so that no customer get any thing in writing and they can say that your complaint is not valid because we never promised this. This is a serious issue..this type of company cheating and taking customers hard earned money.

                                  I stayed in the sterling yercaud in the month of Dec 2020. On my stay i was asked to come in and see the package that was being offered by Sterling Holidays. I must say i was very much in line and was more than happy to go ahead. I paid an advance of 5k confirming that if not interested this will be refunded. With this agreement we went ahead with the payment.

                                  After researching about the products and doing a little bit of research i saw many forums with many complaints which were unanswered or even acknowledged. I was not worried about the complaints but i was surely concerned about the response by Sterling. There was not even one complaint that was being addressed in all the forums.

                                  This was my first concern.

                                  My Second was what ever was sold to be was sold to one another client, however at the time of redemption, which ever country she selected was either full or the points were not enough.

                                  My third concern, People just like me paid different amounts and after which they did not want to continue for some reason and Sterling had not refunded any one for over a year. This was the most disappointing part of my journey

                                  Finally i decided that i will take the package if they refund the amount in the said date and time. I also Wrote an email to karthik.[protected]@sterlingholidays.com who was the so called Manager and he claimed that he was the head of South. If the head of South is going to be so unconcerned about a customer who is on boarding what will happen to the customer when he is in. This was my question to him. He said he will take care.

                                  However today we are 2 months away from all the promises and i have still not received my Refund.

                                    I got a call from sterling holidays asking to attend a 45 minute presentation and post that I will receive a 2 nights 3 days stay voucher. Post the presentation, I was told that voucher will be emailed with in 24 hrs but it's been 2 days already and I haven't received any voucher. I had to travel from South goa to North Goa with 2 hrs of travel for their membership marketing presentation and as promised I haven't got my voucher. I have recordings of call with Amjad Shaikh who had confirmed that I ll be getting the voucher but he is not repli now. Very unprofessional .
