    On Mar 4, 2020 I made a reservation for Sterling Resorts (Dindi) for 2 days (Apr 10th to 12th, 2020). As the Covid started spreading towards later part in March, I reached out to Sterling and they offered me two options:

    1) Cancel the reservation, and get the refund (RS 19, 641/-).
    2) Cancel and get a voucher worth the same with 6 months validity.

    I chose to cancel, and get the full refund. Sterling promised refund within 90 days, on Mar 26th. Today, it is Oct 6th, 2020 and there is no refund. I reached out to Sterling in multiple different means - they have always kept making false promises that it will be done today or tomorrow. But it is still not done.

    Resolution Expected: Refund of 19, 641/- as promised.

    These days, they have also stopped responding. I feel cheated, and frustrated. Getting almost 20k rupees stuck with them, is infuriating.. especially when they don't even care to respond or even follow through on their own promises.

    As one last step before I file a cheating police case, I am approaching this forum. Hopefully will see some progress.

      I am putting in short.
      When selling membership, all they said is 7 nights entitled for each year for next 25 years with this membership.

      Not informed : Annual maintenance charges, guest fees since i had gifted honeymoon to my friend in goa, some guest charges were applicable which is unacceptable as they were never informed during selling membership.

      Restriction of seasons, as this is my basic membership more than half of year I am.not eligible or more.points will be redeemed so instead of 7 nights can use 2-3 nights. This was not informed. Points will be lapsed was neber informed.

      When I got this information, according to their tnc it cannot be cancelled, and if cancelled no money will be refunded. I have paid nearly 1.5 lacs till today since 2013. I am really stranded what to do. As I feel tortured despite paying entire membership price by 2014 which I had opted for. Still their records are showing one month emi pending. Oh my god, and every 3-4 months someone calls me and ask me for that emi since 2014. I Feel tortured seriously. And when i ask them simpky redund my money, they say this is not possible and it can be cancelled without any refund. And whatever money is paid like 1.5 lacs just forget it. I mean how can first of all give no details. If I had known of this all before buying membership, i would be complaining to sterling since 2014. I am really dissappointed. And I get no solution or datisfaction. My hard earned money got wasted. And torture on top of it. And there is no one who is helping. Just do me a favour pay me principle amount 1.5 lacs whatever I have paid, and since I was never happy with sterling principally i never felt like using it. Its a vacation ownership, i never felt like an vacantion owner, I felt like slave of their TNC. Please help. God bless us.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

        We had taken membership in 2013 and had payed 50% of our membership amount and then we had spoken to your executuve regarding our financial problem and told tgem to give us some time because my wifes delivery was due and we had financial issues so couldnt pay the emi. So they told us we will giv u sometime for that and now we are calling your office so they are telling your membership is cancelled. How is it so we didnt cancelled just told them to give us some time for finance. This is wrong u all are cheating us. Plz help us we want refund or else 3 vacation in place of that payemnt

          I Mrs. Khatija Sorathia. Very sad to write this letter. One of Sales Person from Sterling Holidays Pvt Ltd under the name of Arsheen Khan few years ago sold Membership Plan by giving false commitment. She gave commitment that Sterling Holiday has property in Mecca and Madina and you can take benefit out of it. In this way, she played badly with my emotion. I am aged illiterate and very innocent so Ms. Arsheen Khan took disadvantge and sold two membership plan one after another. She hurted our sentiments too. Every month I Kept paying EMI for 2 files. We are trying to contact Ms. Arsheen Khan from last year but could not get connected. Membership ID : 1208994, Customer Number: 1210494.

          We kept on paying the amount from so last many years and I was having intention that during our Religious Tour of Saudi Arabia, we will be able to utilize our Paid amount. In last Year, we planned for Saudi Arabia Tour. Ms. Arsheen's contact number was not reachable since from last Year so we stop our EMI Payment also.

          We are very much disappointed with their Staff as we could not able to talk to them. Neither their numbers are working nor they replying over a mail.

            Still haven't heard from the team.

            It's been four months. No accurate response.

            Mohammed and imaran two employees have cheated me. Sterling should take action against them.

            Why they have given false information and taken money from me in feb and they dont respond now.

            I hope you understand this falls under forgery case. Which i'm going to file against the company.

            Dear Sir/Madam,
            I am writing this mail in vain and disappointment regarding my experience with sterling holidays .

            On, October 2018, i was approached by Mr Arjun ( Sterling Holidays Agent ), about starting the membership drive with sterling holidays. i was quite impressed the way he stated the plan and agreed to enter the plan.

            At the time of signing the contract, there was a clause in the agreement, where it was stated that i need to pay ASF fees of INR 10000 apporx every year apart from the membership fees. Initially i refused to sign the agreement but Mr Arjun, advised and ensured that i only have to pay the fees related to my membership and no need to pay the ASF fees as client are never meant to pay this fees. I was again assured by him and i went ahead with the plan.

            On the other hand, I paid the membership fees of INR 1, 60, 000 aprox in the trust which i had with Mr Arjun.

            In October 2019, while i was trying to book the holiday package, while at the payment page i was asked to pay the ASF fees in order to complete the transaction.

            When i contacted Mr Arjun about the same, he did not give me a response. His wording changed and advised me to bring new customers to waive off the ASF fees. I am really unhappy with this fradulent change. When I contacted the customer care but they are also not helping. after this when i searched this on google, i noted that many customers have had similar experience.

            I am writing this a start of my long fight and i want you to know what is happening under your nose.

            Request you to look into the matter and do the needful.

                I have done an enquiry on holiday vacation. Today i got a call from mr rahul, who claimed to be an associate instead of helping me he was constantly charging me with false details of mine. When i told him i am currently not interested for any holiday due to the current situation then the associated started his misbehaviour & accused me with false details of my identification which was in his system. I would request the authority please train your professional to behave professionally & should not provide any false allegations on customer. I have also attached screen shot of the number from where i got a call.

                  I got all the information wrong at the time of the deal, the EMI would be 32 and there would be 6000, but in e-kit I got 12 EMI and oh also the man from 1949, Feroz Shaikh Representatives also told them by call and massage, call man office man and do all. But I still did not travel, and EMI from my credit card without asking me to debit AUTO with my credit card that WHATSUP took photos, now I have the MEMBERSHIP CANCLE reason and I go to customer forum and cyber sale.                       I kumaran submitted a complaint regarding cancellation of my membership and refund money on nov 27. Regarding that ms. Anusha from sterling holiday resort met me at thanjavur on 14.02.2020 and promised to refund my money (Rs.58, 568) on 18th or 19th of february. But still the money has not refund to me. So i request them to refund as they promised asap.

                        Hi, this is hemant agrawal from varanasi. I received a call from representative of sterling holidays to come on 5th november 2019, and take the voucher of free night stay at resort of sterling. I went there on that day and i paid 50% of membership amount i. E. Rs 1, 37, 200/-. After two days i. E. On 7th november 2019, i called mr. Ravindra for cancellation since i thought it will be little bit tough for me to pay the entire amount. He told he will give me a call in few minutes. After some time mr. Shubham gave me a call and said "sir be assured your money is 100% safe, whenever you wish you will be getting the money back. But we want that you stay in any of our resorts and after that still if you wish we will process your refund." but anyhow i realised that i won't be continuing with it so i asked for the refund of the amount paid. It has been around a month but mr shubham (Mob. No. [protected]) is now neither picking up my calls neither replying to my emails and whatsapps. This is really very disgusting and is tarnishing the image of sterlings. This is my earnest request to take this matter on a serious note otherwise i will be bound to take some legal actions as i am getting no response to the commitments made by mr. Shubham who has made it on behalf of sterling holidays).

                        No, I havn't received any communication from any of the representative of Sterling Holidays.Although in the month of November when i took the membership i was assured through email from Representative of Sterling Holidays that you would be getting the refund without any discomfort. Kindly expedite the proceedings.

                          False commitment by membership selling agents. Food will be cheap than market and vehicle will be provided at the diesel cost. Activites will be free but they charged heavily against services provided. Location of resorts are very remote. Until certain EMI cleared offers to members are not provided. The cost of resort are highly charged as compare to other restort near by.                               Dear sir,

                              I have taken sterling holidays membership since 2014, but not able to enjoy holidays any time. Because of booking issues, rooms not available of members etc.

                              I have tried to book rooms at lonavala resort from 21.02.20 to 24.02.20 through my membership, but it was not possible as the rooms are not available for members.
                              However, when i have tried to book rooms through online websites, rooms are available at rate of rs.2500 only. What is this?

                              Rooms must be available for members first and then if available can be used for business. It has never been accepted by a sterling member from sterling holidays.

                              Second thing, we are not getting any benefits:
                              Example: i am paying rs.7000 asf+ loosing interest of rs. 18000 (Int. Of amount i have paid to sterling)= rs.25000

                              Now, room rate are only rs.2000, if we calculate for 7 days it will be rs.14000. Which suggests that i am loosing 11000 per year+ my amount of membership.

                              Its totally unjustified for members who have taken your membership and trust sterling.

                              So if sterling holidays are not able to provide facilities as described by their representative during providing membership to me, then refund money back.

                              Kindly represent all these concern to sterling holiday management, and if possible kindly try to get my moneyback.

                                Your sales team mr. Nayeem and mr. Gorak from hyderabad team are harassing me by sending some rowdy to my home for money which they paid to sterling without my consent or confirmation.

                                Without my consent/ confirmation for payment they paid membership fee for sterling holidays on 18th november and they told me the same on 22nd november and from that day they are calling regularly for money and forced me to pay then i told i will try but i am not in a position to pay the membership so i have not given clearance to them to process the cheque which i have given that cheque also without giving any time they forced me and taken telling that they have targets / offers etc and taken. Without clearing that cheque they paid from there pocket without my consent and now sending some outsidrrsto my home at 9 pm and today at 1 pm and forcing me to psy them the money.

                                With these acts my family is scared what will happen to them if i am not at home.

                                I need help to safe guard my family and me from them.

                                  Customer no 3579 a - fernhill ooty

                                  From 2004 we are unable to utilise the resorts (We have right of 7 days utilisation for 99 years till 2091 period) due to poor and inhospitable living conditions in the resorts. This is due to mismanagement of resorts by erstwhile promoters and we the customers are cheated, which is a violation of contractal agreements. Till 2010 we have paid aac without utlising the premises, on the request & promise of revival by old promoters and their customer relationship managers.

                                  Now suddenly they are unjustly asking aac for the closure periods due to their mistake, which is illegal. We request to waive aac for the closure periods/reduce the same to 3 years (21 days credit). We will pay last 3 year amenity charges, no other charges should be levied whatsoever name in the future. The resorts should be maintained as per the standards and usable conditions and promise good customer service for the entire contract periods.

                                    Two weeks back[protected] to[protected] with my family i had stayed in sterling holidays munnar. I had experienced a very bad treat from staff especially from restaurant supervisor a lady named remik. She treated us in a very bad manner. She is not doing her duty simply sitting and mobile chatting. She is not explaining about the food details. She used to stare us in a mocking way. Really a very bad experience. I had invested a amount for your service that's the only reason why i am still continuing as your member
