Two of the sales( Mr Nitish Rawat & Mr Rajdoot) executives of Sterling holiday & Resort, NCR, Delhi sold me White studio membership on[protected].They offered me two plans of 25 yrs & 10 yrs Vantage.They told me many benefits of sterling holiday its property in India and main attraction of additional thousand of RCI properties in India and abroad.They told me that you will get free membership of RCI and can exchange the annual holidays with RCI property.Members to pay only exchange fees as and when availing RCI property .RCI property are at par and excellent.We discussed both 10 yrs and 25 yrs plan & 100% down payment plan.I wanted some more time to decide, but both of them persuaded me to pay token amount as they same are very attractive and you will get best of service and we are there to help you out for all your accommodation, holiday planning etc.I told them I can not make full payment as I want to see the draft of membership with incorporating all benefits what is all discussed so no ambiguity is raised at the later date.They promised that we will do that but pay some amount just now and pay it remaining at later once you see the draft, we will charge the membership as down payment terms.It will help them to book the membership in august and help meet target fixed by the company .
Trusting them I paid 1 lac payment to sterling through credit card.
I waited for draft copy which I did not receive but received Membership E -kit on[protected].
When I examined the document, I have observed that there is major deviation on RCI membership.Sales executives promised me 25 yrs free membership of RCI but in the kit it was complimentary for 2 yrs .This means I have to pay RCI membership fees from 3 rd yr onward.One can not avail the RCI property without paying for annual membership fees.This was major deviation and having bearing on overall cost of membership.
Then they also converted the down payment plant to EMI raising /revising the membership cost.We never discussed the EMI at all neither interested in the plan.
I immediately took up with the sales executive for these deviation.
They started telling lie that they have told me about the membership fees .They have never told me about annual fees nor the same was mentioned in the offer they gave me.
I also wrote to their feedback section as no other mail id was available.There is no response .Customer care of sterling called me once and promised resolution in next 7-10 days.
But it is almost a month now, we did not receive any resolution to my complaint.
I request them through your forum that sterling should refund my money as I am no more interested due to mis- information and apathy towards members.

    It's a fraud company. They have the worst service and nobody picks up your call and solve queries. Even after so many calls and messages they are not responding. They just take your money and never fulfill the promises they boast of..worst mistake to take their membership. I urge people not to waste there money on them.They give big promises and fulfill none. Most of their resorts are now old and damp with no maintenance. It's a torture to talk to any of there relationship managers after repetitive calls and messages. They don't listen to their members and never respond in any way

      I have two memberships.
      Your AAC Charges are too high.
      Also you charge guest fee for dependents too.
      You are selling membership to us & getting the capital & letting you sell holidays to guests on online platforms as regular hotels at higher rates. Even after that you are charging High ACC & accomodation charges which is clearly a violation of our 99 yr lease agreement. You cannot change as you like one-sided. Expecting a clear reply & reversal of excess charges charged.

        I have taken Sterling Holiday membership. Lot of promises were made while taking membership and subsequently while making payments. However non of these promises fulfilled till date. I have been writing repeatedly at [protected]@sterlingholidays.com for several months now along with all the communication received towards promises and services However I have not received reply for any of them. Instead they keep me calling for payments of advance asf. It appears they are simply collection agents and have nothing to do with customer service. Every time RM keeps changing and promised made by one is forgotten once they leave your organization. Pls note that they make promises on behalf of your company and you have the responsibility to fulfill them.
        I have been chasing for long and yet to receive any response. Pls consider this my final reminder post which I will be bound to take legal action and you will definitely have to pay multiple times of the amount which have been cheated from me till date. Instead kindly refund my full amount paid till date or else fulfill the promises made.

        Till now you have been such shameless by not responding to my concerns but still I hope you will reply this time or force me to take legal action to safeguard my consumer rights. Choice is yours.

          Dear Team,
          I have submitted the written notice for cancellation on 20th Jan 2016 on mail but no response received . Because of my financial problems i can not continue the membership so i have decided for cancellation . This is really pathetic your customer service is very poor. 6 years has been gone but my amount is not refunded till date.             My membership id is 1216286. I got lured by their salesman in 2016, who showed a rosy pictures and tons of benefits for grabbing the membership.
            I joined the membership by paying over 2 lacs rupees. But then I moved to UAE with my family without taking any holidays due to which I am unable to take any holidays.
            I stopped paying ASF( annual subscription fees) because I am unable to take any holidays.
            Sterling holidays kept on adding ASF year by year from 2016 onward. Now sterling holidays is intimidating me to pay ASF DUE of 62672 or else my membership will be cancelled.
            It was my mistake to take the memberships which I never utilized and just payed over 2 lacs for nothing.
            It is my advice to never take a membership with Sterling.

                  I booked a room on June 30 and canceled on July 1st owing to New covid restrictions in my city. I emailed asking for a refund and was told that I would only get a credit voucher. It's been five days since I confirmed. However, I have not gotten my money, or the voucher. No response to emails or calls.

                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                    This is to raise a fraud dispute who's taken Sterling trip's name and has offered a credit card and as a benefit that one would get free holiday once a year with sterling trip taken a payment of 7000/-

                    After paying, I have not got any confirmation email, no card has been delivered yet, their phone numbers have been switched off now, I can mention the numbers here as well.

                    My payment was done via credit card and even if you can't do a refund please make sure this doesn't happen with other people by using your name.

                    Request you to look into this at the earliest and if you can help i'll be happy and the same will be appreciated.

                      It was commited that my refund to be initiated in month of April but due to lockdown. It was delayed and till date not made any payment . I am chasing for my money from last one year . As your sales executive paras shah swiped my card without informing me and later on insited to do onetime holiday or he will lose his job . Stop fooling people and please give my money back. I am now tired of calling to sterling holidays customer care every day. please provide resolution Asap.

                        Membership is cancelled on 07th Jan 2021 and as per the terms by Sterling, money to be refunded back in 60 working days. But till now money is not refunded. Every month Manas from finance department calls me and says that by next month, money will be refunded. But this never happened till now i.e. 5 months from cancellation. Every time a new commitment is given and they don't keep their commitments. For online transaction, they say they need 1 month which actually happens in a day.
                        For returning my money, why do they need soo much time?

                        Expecting a better response by refunding the money in a week time.

                          I had booked travel for October 2020 and had to cancel because of Corona and local demonstrations.

                          Sterling provided a voucher till October 2021.
                          Then they cancelled the voucher in Feb 2021 claiming they will refund the amount which has not been processed.
                          They kept saying it will be processed in 10-15 days but has not been done till date.

                          Can someone take responsibility and ownership for this and refund the same at the earliest.

                              Fraud by sales executive Paras Shah

                              I purchased Sterling membership on 20 sept 2020 from Paras Shah on down payment of Rs. 33000/- .
                              Membership ID - VNT1245706

                              After few days he forcefully asked me to mail sterling holiday to stop EMI from my card. And later told me to pay him personally 25000+10000+4000 so that he will give me additional discount and Ill receive membership for 50% discount.
                              Now sales executive Paras Shah has stopped responding....

                              Got call from sterling from this above-mentioned number. This call was for sale subscription but this fellow was misbehaving and irritating. Sterling should work on soft skills of their executive and must be sorry to me.

                                You people hiring all the noncence EXECUTIVE who does not know how to speak with a customer.
                                [protected] this is the 2nd no from where i hot call and just bcz of from 1st no when i refused the invition the executive call from this no and speak all the rubbish
                                what is this. we are here to listen all u r nonce words or what.

                                Make it clear I will never ever going to book u r hotel again.

                                  I had booked Sterling Durshet - Nature Trails on 10th Feb for March 5th-March6th 2021 (2 Rooms for 5 People and 1 Infant). I cancelled this trip as 3 members got detected for covid and cancelled this trip well in advance on 22nd Feb . I called and cancelled this trip and also mailed the information (Account number ) and they assured me that i will get a refund in 7 days . Its been more than 10 days now and i have never recieved any acknowledgement for my Email .On Call they always say they are waiting for approval . No Idea what this approval is . I have sent multiple mails (6-7 Mails) from 22nd Feb for cancellation acknowledgement but havent received any response for them . They said i will be getting 90% refund but havent got it till now . Please let me know what is the status of my refund and when will i get it ? Now They have stopped taking my calls too.

                                    I recently booked a stay at Sterling Sariska from 13th Feb- 15th Feb 2021 from Agoda (Booking.com), booking ID[protected].

                                    For this booking, Sterling has charged credit card 3 times in total.

                                    I have mailed Agoda as well as Sterling for refund of excess payment but till now has not received any word from them.

                                      Firstly, when we were in check-in process, 2 staffs came and started selling membership without caring that the guests have just arrived and are not refreshed. This implies that business is more important than the hospitality.

                                      Secondly, taste of breakfast was really not upto the mark. I will give a rating of 5 out of 10.

                                      Third, the staff at reception were dull and not responsive. Seemed that they were not happy to receive us. We have been to hotels where welcoming there guests are a must to do.

                                      Fourth are the activities like playstation, casio, air hockey etc which were all paid. At the time of booking, it was nowhere mentioned that only some of the games like ludo are free. Cant believe that a SIMPLE dart game was chargeable. Hotel is charging us such high rates and providing ludo carrom as a complimentary activity.

                                      This was our first and last time visit to sterling
                                      If these are the services, why not to invest in some other property.

                                      Hope that these issues will be taken care at least for other guests.
