I purchased a membership no 218741 of Sterlingholidays in 2004, when I tried to book a holiday for the first time in July 2022, I was told by customer service that my membership has been terminated in December 2021 because it remained Dormant due non usage and pending charges .
I requested them I am ready to pay whatever is due but in spite of repeated mails, an automated mail is sent .
I got retired in February this year and wanted to start enjoying holidays but am deprived . My membership is valid till the year 2050 .
Kindly help in reactivating my membership .

      I purchased Sterling membership in month of Dec 2021 from Jaydeep Rathod & Satyendra in Mount Abu on down payment of Rs. 46, 000/- Membership ID - VNT1245706. After that due to some medical emergency the same was to been cancelled from my side (with in 60 days as per Policy) and I have share a email stating the same still they have deducted a sum of amount Rs. 36, 000/- as a cancellation fees. The matter continued to be escalate and finally there was settlement of only Rs. 10, 000/- which was to be refunded to me. As per mail commitment the amount was to be credited on 20th Apr 2022 but still it is being delayed for one month i.e. 20th May 2022 and I m not sure even if the same will be credited or again passed on to next month as per their policy 60th day the refund is to be provided but there is only new commitments provided.

        I got my sterling membership on 5 April. I have raised a request for cancellation on the 15 of April. so according to the norms, I should get a full refund. but a person called me from a landline no. +[protected] when I call this no. it says this no. is not in use. but he called me and asked me the reasons for cancellation I informed in so and so he said i[censored] cancel he said u will get only a maximum amount of 60, 000. but I have paid 2, 70, 000. And the person who came to me and talked about the membership said u will get a full refund i[censored] cancel in 45 days. his no. is [protected] name is Anand. I don't know what is happening one is saying something someone is saying something. but I want a full refund as the person said u will get a full refund i[censored] cancel in 45 days. I have the voice recording too. And according to the norms also I should get a full refund. as I have raised a request in 10 days.

          I bought a sterling membership for 10 years on dec 2020 and paying by emi my membership contribution by Rs. 8916 and at the time of taking the membership paid 35000. After paying for almost for a year I get to know that they have a membership fee also which i have to pay every year apart from my contribution. I am a salaried person I am doing the Membership as it is one of dream but the sales persons never told me about this membership fees and it is impossible for me to continue also my family going through a financial crisis so I want to discontinue the membership. Another thing I never availed any of their service but when I told them I want to close it, they told me that as per their terms and conditions no money will be return back. this is very pathetic for me as I have almost given 1.25 lakh. How can a terms and conditions are there where I cannot got any money back as I never availed any service. they actually misell the product to me. Kindly help me to get back my money

            This refers to your trailing mail, we just want to inform you that, we have not yet received the refund of the amount against Rs. 60, 000/- paid to Sterling by mistake on 3 rd January 2022.

            I have written the mail to customer feedback Ms. Rasan Kumari FIVE Times and got only assurances that my money will be returned within 7 working days, where it is not being returned, even after 45 days.

              Mihar Swapnil called me and asked to attend the presentation for 45 through zoom and promised a voucher of stay 2nights along with a food voucher it’s been more than 5 days I haven’t received it Geeta the sales girl is very rude don’t even receives the call. If you cannot fulfill the promise of a voucher than after taking the membership I don’t know what will be the scene. I’m gonna put every it on every social media

                My timeshare account number is 24711
                We have bought this in the year 1994 and we are paying all the charges levied by sterling resorts properly for which sterling resorts are liable to provide us 7 vacation days per year.

                Now when I am searching to book a room for this summer, around April in their kodaikanal resort, the website is showing as NE and is not allowing me to book a room in this time. On website it is clearly stated that my membership does not cover so called their 'Premium' season.

                So they have fraudulently downgraded my privileges without my consent, which is very bad provided I have paid a premium while purchasing the membership. This is very wrong and I want sterling to provide rooms to me around the year

                  My father Dr. Prakashbhai Gor purchased a membership and applied for renewal of the same. One of your employees did fraud to him and took all the money my father paid for the renewal. We contacted many employees of the firm to get help from them such as Sarang Deshpandey and Ravishankar Upadhyay. We mailed to [protected]@sterlingholidays.com several times. But every time we only got system generated mail. We didn't get any help from anybody. We are highly disappointed with their service and criticize it. I have all the proofs for everything I have said above. Even I have more proofs than I attached here which I couldn't share because of format restriction. I can share that too if required. If Sterling Holidays really cares and they help even now, it would be like applying ointment to our wounds. So I would like to request them again to look into this matter and solve our problems.

                    Sterling holiday agent Mr parsh Shah is fraud with me for rupees 480000, The parsh are told with me we are buying 2 old membership. And will give the 480000, rupees cash and bank AC transfer bank AC transfer to parsh ac and mayur raut ac no.[protected] icici bank and other icici bank AC give me we have all details and payment receipt and 1.5 lakhs are give to cash him at my home, he also pick the amount from my home

                      I have taken this membership in Apr-2021, by paying around INR 64000 and rest was agreed to be paid in 12 installments starting from Jul 2021 onwards as I was in my Job changing phase. However, the EMI was started striking into my account from May 2021 onwards but since my CC was blocked it has saved me from losing the money.

                      At present, my company is laying off to meet their financial targets...

                      Hi I was in double minded and so after paying the initial I asked for cancellation within 3 days and said full refund now they are saying 90 days in this faster technology world.. Which is really not acceptable.. Why u need our cash to be held into your account for such a devious 90 days when we can do it in a second..

                      Why are you making the customers worry about the money for another 90 days, what if it's delayed more than that?

                      Update - Nothin happened until now no one called or emailed me. Still waiting I am never sure why they are such a lerthagic behaviour when it comes to collect money they rushed me out now I need to wait guys beware when u take membership.. Nothin customer centric as they say

                          Hello Sir/Madam,
                          I am complaining as during my stay at Sterling Kodai Lake resort between[protected] to[protected] they had charged me an excess of Rs. 13, 896.68 which they had committed to returning the same but have not done so even after multiple requests. Now they are not responding to messages as well.

                          They had charged my card Rs. 71345.68 and I have used their facilities for the following amounts
                          ROOM TARRIF - Rs. 44, 321.00
                          OTHER CHARGES - Rs. 13, 128.00
                          Total Charges - Rs. 57, 449.00
                          Total charged on the credit card - Rs. 71, 345.68
                          Balance owed to us by sterling - Rs. 13, 896.68

                          I am attaching the bill copies that we received from Sterling Kodai resorts.

                            I wish to put this complaint against sterling holiday since, they are nothing but a company who cheats its customers.
                            I joined Sterling in March ‘21. And was informed by the sales team that i can book holiday in any resort across the country, no matter what season i would be having. Hence, we decided to book for Goa Varca property. I was left hanging in the balance by the team stating that the entire resort is booked. So, looking for other options I decided to check via other travel sites. Incidentally, I found the same rooms open for booking with MMT.
                            Hence, decided to inform my account manager to look into it. There was no update and wanted to be write an email to the customer service. The customer service kept on empathising but no clear resolution.

                            I have decided to cancel my membership with sterling as even after paying a certain amount towards membership, Sterling treats them fools and does not support.

                            I have also, sent an email for cancellation but there is NO one taking ownership and reply

                              Struggling to get a Full refund, Unprofessional and Zero Customer Centric Company

                              Owning Sterling holidays had been my parents dream for past two decades right when the cost was in few tens of thousands but they couldn’t afford it then.

                              I myself approached Sterling expressing my interest in purchasing early this year and I had purchased a 25 year membership by paying Rs.2, 88, 000/- in full back in April 2021 and since then I haven’t used any of the complimentary nights or any of the annual holiday...

                              This is with regard to booking done in yelagiri sterling on October 15th to 17th October.I have attached the invoice as well.When I booked it showed meal plan as non refundable and even in cancellation terms u have mentioned 100percent refundable in full credit...what we will understand by this ...100percent of money will be refunded if it's cancelled before 48hrs.I have cancelled 1 week prior to that after asking your executive in sterling yelagiri he told amount will be refunded in 24hrs.This type of Misguidance leads to unnecessary grievances.Since I am a doctor I have been posted for emergency surgery on that date and I was also told by crs team that emergencies will be accepted for refund. For this kind of profession where things comes unexpectedly there should be some kind of terms and conditions..and you have mentioned in cancellation terms as i[censored] dont do cancellation prior to 48hrs there is no refund which means how should I understand...????I am not eligible for refund of money if I don cancel on the given limit..Kindly arrange to refund my amount as their policy terms were incomplete and not clear and even their executive were not aware about their own terms.

                                    Your sales people ( Amit Singh and Ravinder Rawat )are really a fraud and cheater...lots of fake promise they have made to me...now..they are not receiving my calll..

                                    I am helpless..even mailed him to cancle my membership and return money in 19 days.
                                    If it will not happened than I will go in media...lodge fir against him.

                                    I will also file a complain in consumer court against sterling...
