My SUN DIRECT was not working and made complaint two months back Nos. 80693 but no one respond my compliant we are lost two months recharge amount hence request do the need full.

Sun Direct DTH — NO - SIGNAL

Hi,

From past 4 days we are not getting the Signal for SUn Direct . We have called so many times to the help line and called to the Engineer to check the problem and sent contiues mails to the [protected]@sundirect.in . But there is no Responce from the Sun Direct. Please take nessasary action on this and resolve as soon as possiable.

we are located at jakkur area in north bangalore.since one week our sundirect cable has not been working.it is showing no signal. this happened as the dish is been upside down in a seveare storm which happened last week.since then i have been trying to contact all posible no's including the call centre, bangalore office, corporate office chennai.There has been absolutely no response.the customer service executives just refuses to talk and disconnects the phone.this is the same with the chennai office also.this connection is only one month old.if this condition prevails.what is the point in getting a connection after spending Rs 2000.pls do something at the earliest.
The above complaints are true. No signals for the past four days! worst customer care, they are giving wrong phone numbers for service. Dealers not responding. i am really sorry for the customers of SUN DTH. I am planning to give it back to the owner so that he can enjoy saying "dan danna dan"

Now can u suggest me, were I can lodge my Complaint ??????. As there is no one ready to take my complaint.

Re charge done for set max channel on 18 April-2010 with Rs.25 x 2 times. Credit balance was done, but channal shows service currently scarmbled. Pls look in to this & activate the same imdlty. You know IPL is close by next 2 days.

the compaint about sundirect is genuine.Iam writing this on the 9th of July2010. The world cup is going on .The dth servrvice started the upgradation on 7th of this month . They closed the service without any notice to the costomers. Now we are froced to discontinue your service.Iam working in a reputed public sector firm having public contacts and I will do my best to discourage people to discontinue sundirect and move over to another good Dth service like Bigtv etc.All your Dealers of Marayoor in Idukki dt.Kerala state are stopped their service due to your iresponsibility.If you verify your records you can see that most of your costomers are dicontinuing from marayoor and Munnar.
The Bigtv is doing good costomer service.
No signal on Sun Direct since midnight 12 of 7 july. They say that the same is due to their sattelite issue and ISRO is working over it.

Sir, I took dth sun direct receiver, but I installed but it is no signal showing, we are getting so many problems to get the news from time to time. and it is very loss for us also. We pay the money and it is very loss of pay also.

So I request that pls. let us know what is the main problem to not get the signal.

There is lot of malfunction in SUN Direct service...Every few days channels are goin out of signal & If we call the Customer service , they will put fault on our side..it is really going horrible.

I am a customer of SUN DTH, My smartcard numbr is [protected] (customer name: Balu Thota). I am facing problems with customer care.

I was activated some addon packages like discovery etc on sunday. After activating the new channels I was not able to watch my base subscription package ( Telugu channels - maa tv, ee tv, gemini tv etc). I called 2 times on sunday to customer care and they replied that they sent a request for "refresh" but it was not resolved. Again I called up on tuesday same thing happened and they said that they sent request for "hard refresh". On tuesday Again I called then somebody called himself as "Paritosh" said me that he is forwarding complaint to technical dept and it will get resolved by 24 hrs (Complaint no.[protected]. After 24 hrs it was not resolved and also the I got the message that complaint was closed. Again yesterday (4th Aug, Tuesday), I called again then somebody called himself as "Sayyad" told me that the old complaint is closed so he will be creating a new complaint[protected] and said that within one hour I should get call from tech dept. After one hour I called again somebody called himself as "Rohit" told me that within 2 hrs I should get call from sr executive, after insisting somany times he forwarded call to somebody called "Bintoo Sharma" and assured me that it will get resolved in 24 hrs. But today in the morning I saw a message that the second complaint is also closed, I dont know why it is again closed without resolving the issue. I called up again in the morning somebody called "pawan kumar" told me that he launched new comlaint[protected] and it will get resolved in 24 hrs, and also he told me that nobody called "bintoo sharma" is there in sr executive category.

I really fedup of calling again and again to listen same thing, also wasting my phone bills. And also I dont know who is telling truth or not.

I really hope that you can solve my problem without giving me false assurance. And also I want you to take serious action on those people who misguide the customers. I hope that you understand my problem. If I dont get any result from your end then let me know who else can solve my problem.

There is lot of channel notworking in bahrain pls help
I am a Sundirect customer. July month the channel I subscribed was not available due to Satellite problem. I was been informed that my validity will be extended till the situation resolved at SUNDTH but the actual what happened was my validity got expired on the due date without Iam being able to watch my preferred channel Kalaiger, POGO, etc in July 2010. I have again recharged my account in Aug still the same satellite problem continues and POGO is low signal strength and causing cracking sound while watching. Kalaigner TV -No signal

SUNDIRECT customer care dont have any solution for this

It shows past two months, my favorite channel I am not able to view and SUNDTH swindling the money without providing the service which they take money but.

Signal Reception Problem

I am old subscriber of SUN Direct DTH Connection.The Quality of Channel Reception is amazing during regular weather, but during rainy time I have experienced off no signal Error (something like "E48 No Signal") appearing on the Television Screen.Once this happens, there is no resumption of Signal anymore and we will be able to watch the Channels only after switching Off and Switching On both the Television and the Set Top Box.I do not know whether this is how System Behaves in all the Cases, but Surely this is going to be a major SetBack if it happens to be the same in all the cases. i am send request to the company 3 times, they came and solved by taking charge of Rs.150/- fot each time. kindly take action on
dth operators especially on SUN DIRECT and return my money for 3 times.

there is no signal from satalite code-48, 32 since 07th sept 2010.Technicians can not find fault! .Intermittently the dish conveyed signals for 4 hrs. but again fails! what is going on there?
I agree with above complaint, my smart card no is [protected] I also have the same complaints my family fed off with Sun Direct it is not working from 8pm to till morning from last 2 months. Our favourite channel is "colors" which shows no signals or poor signal after 8pm, customer care is also not available from evening onwords today after discussing with customer care with almost 2 hours they recd my complaint & gave me the complaint no of[protected] & promised that technician will visit our house within 48 hrs & he will solve the problem lets wait & watch what "fraud Sun Direct" full fill its promise?. After several calls and approached local dealer one technician came and changed frequency and checked that my Set up box has problem (Bloody cheapest local set up box supplying by the reputed company????) I bought this only last June (Only 3 months). I have given this to the nearby dealer and several calls to their distrubutor located at Andheri, Mumbai. After one week they have collected the set up box and returned after 4 days. Now, there is only signal searching and launched compliant on 25th One number[protected] and called the useless customer service again given only compliant another number: I[protected]. The Sundirect giving only compliant number no solution, no action, Again, on 26th one lady called and told sorry, they are sending the technician. Why the directors running the company and making fool to the customer. Customer paying money but sundirect only expecting money from customer but no service. I, believe such a big company sundirect will give better service, now, thinking they are cheating the customer and giving false information to them. If the TV is not working, again I have to pay for Tv service. who will be the responsible person working in Sundirect. If anybody working and ready to give service to the customer, pl. solve the problem. I fed up with Sundirect and loosing my telephone bills.
Hope, the sundirect will give better service to their valuable customer. Such a big company from Tamilnadu has no service, no resposibility. Shame...

Every time i used to give complaint in customer care they promise us that within 2 hrs a technician will contact us but still day not even a single technician contact us. I also met the shope person from i purchased this fraud DTH he visited my house after promising him to pay rs 200 but he managed to watch only DD channels. From next day he also stopped to attend our phone calls[[protected]]. What a fraud company is Sun Direct it don't have any connection between customer care to dealer or distributor or between any technician. Just a vagabond type service good for nothing. One of the fraudest service in INDIA.

One of the worst service I have ever seen. I sincere advise for loyal sun direct viewers. Please do not recharge extra. They charge you even if you have any problem with your dish or signal. No response from customer service. They will ask you to wait if you need free service which might take 60 days or no response.

Customer service really sucks and they don't have any clue nor will be in position to help you. If you want it to get it fixed then you have to pay Rs.500-700 for the tech each time.

It looks Sun Direct is closing its Satellite, cable DTH TV operations, as it is unable to give its customers solution to the permanent problem of satellite connection . all are advised to go for alterantive cable connection.

Beware - Cheating - All Indian and Tamilian do not use if even Sun DTH install without cost. I suggested do not Pay through Net and Please donot Keep Money in their Account. Sun direct is just making fool from a long time as my Channels are not coming from last two three months and i have make request so many times on their Tollfree no. as well as Chargeable numbers but there is no response from them, I don't know what to do.They just simply say Our technical officer will come and will solve the problem.But who knows when will they com.I m so much fed up from their Service.Just you can simply say Stupid people.I m thinking why i took their service.

I recharged my SUN DIRECT (Smartcard No.[protected], Set top box C[protected]) on 4ht august for Malayalam Basic. Till date I am not able to get any channel. A message "E17-13 service is currecntly scrambled " is shown on the screen. I made 29 complaints so far. Everytime they say to switch on the STB and TV for 2 hrs. But the problem is not at all solved.

Can you help me to solve the problem. I really lost all hope in making another call to[protected]. UI had almost spent around Rs100./- on phone calls.

I am John Joseph resident of 176-C, Pocket -F, G.T.B Enclave Delhi-93.
I am writing this complaint to tell you that I have not been able to watch my channels because of poor signal since one and a half month . I also filed a complaint to the sun direct centre in Delhi . My complaint number is SR#1-[protected]. I called the executive MR. Mahesh and he said that the he would send the technician but no one came . My smart card number is [protected]. I want you to resolve this problem as soon as possible . If no action is taken I may shift to any other DTH service . I also recharged my connection 10 days before for 3 months . If you can't solve the problem kindly refund my money.

No signal from 12/10/2014 sill date, My Smart Card No [protected], I have registered my complaint but on response till now 18 days over. This kind of very bad service provider Sun Direct Visakhapatnam.


All other Dish operator, Tata Sky & Cable TV operator provide service with a week after cyclone, only Sun Direct no time to attend complaint and local office no one lifting the phone calls very bad service office in Vishakhapatnam. I contact Sun Direct local mechanic mobile no. [protected] he informed me they are very busy with new connection insulation no time to attend complaint.


18 days without service waiting for Sun Direct mechanic, I done a mistake when Tata Sky mechanic came to our Apartment to clear all the Tata Sky Customer complaints, that time itself i have taken their help, I wait for Sun Direct is a big mistake.I feel other Dish operator providing better service, Good response, Fast action, Good service to the customer etc than Sun Direct.
I gave complaint on 23 october U told we will solve the problem wotjin 4-5 days but it was to late its already 15 days over but u did not solve rt he problem u are easting our time and money and what for the nomber [protected] at 24×7 service

    My name is Prasanth. R.S. My smart card number with SunDirect DTH for the connection i have taken is [protected].

    SUNDIRECT services were moved to a new satellie owing to which the Dish need to be realigned to receive the signals so that we could view the channels.But i have been calling the concerned dealer over a period of 2 months but in vein.The dealer never picks up the phone. Being tired of this, i contacted the Call centre & raised a ticket (1-[protected]) for realignment & a ticket 1-[protected] against the Dealer.By the time the services were moved to a new satellite & i have stopped receiving any channels. During this period I will be contacting the Call centre to get an update every now & then . Each time i was told that the case has been forwarded to Technicians. Finally i have asked to escalate the issue on Jan 8th. The escalation # provided by the Call centre too never picks up the call. The issue has not been resolved till now.

    Dear Sir,

    I have a DTH connection from Sun Direct. Inorder to get channels, Recently message appeared to realign the dish which is free of cost(dish re alignment message appearing on TV screen). I had contacted Sun Direct Customer care at[protected] and registered a request no 1-[protected] on 23 Nov 2010. Sun direct has not yet responded till date even though I had made many followup calls. Every time they used to tell that "we will do it as soon as possible". For the Last one month I could not get any service from Sun Direct.

    I had also contacted their loacl representative Mr. Rajesh Dani on mobile no [protected] through SMS.

I have been regularly lodging my complaints with Sun Direct Customer Care Unit for the last two months for realignment of my Cable according to their Stelite change frequency but I have been provided only assurance that within 2/3 days their technician would visit and set the things according to new frequency. I am now giving up Sun Direct Cable DTH Services and connecting to some other compmany. Because their is now Channel for the last 1 month on my TV

      I am using Sun Direct DTH for the past 1.5 years. Recently I had a problem of pictures not coming in the TV. So, I launched a complaint with their Customer care[protected] on 04-01-11. They told that the problem will be solved in 48 Hrs. Nothing happened during this time. Again called and this time told that this will be solved within 24 Hrs. Again nothing happened. Called again and told to wait for 3 Hrs. Again nedless to say, nothing happened. Then thay provide their dealer's no.[protected] and asked to call them. Called the dealer and she is committed that their technician will visit on the same day. I am following up with them for the past 5 days but the result is zero. Meanwhile, I received a call from Sun Direct mentioning that I should recharge as the validity is over eventhough my validity is till Aug 2011. This was confirmed by SUN DTH customer care executives also.
      Now, the dealer is telling that I should contact Sun Direct only. Sun direct is telling that they will look into this only after Pongal. This is the type of Service provided by Sun Direct DTH to their customers.

        I am having SUN Direct connection since 2007. The service is so bad in Karnataka that one wonders whether Sun direct does nothing but advertise their product. They have moved to a new server and their technical staff are supposed to visit their clients and realign the dish so that we can receive signal. It is 4 months now since I have been requesting for this to be done but to no avail. I have been talking to people at 39407575 for the past four months. I am given a new complaint number each month and oral promises that things would be set right. My smart card id number is r [protected] and my last complaint number is 134536 given on 17th November. After this every day I call, I am told that their technical people would be calling me within 24 hrs. Still that 24 hrs does not seem to have come. SUN TV seems to be cheating people at alrge with their advertisements.

                  I have registered a complaint with sun dth call centre on 11.11.2010 under sun direct 221. I have purchased the sun dish during April 2010 under smart card No.[protected] R. There was non receipt of signals for two times and I have to pay Rs.100 every time to set aright. Now the transponder problem has cropped up and info exhibited that signals were stopped unless we have contacted the dealer and get the realignment. Is your duty ends there and is it not your responsibility to see the consumers get the signals without any disturbance due to your technical snag. You must have arranged the shifting in such a way that consumers are not affected. In spite of your advertisement that the realignment will be done free of cost which is your basic duty the dealers are openly demanding Rs.100 and Rs.150 for realignment. It is the duty of the service provider to protect the interests of consumers who purchased your product. You are not at all worried about this and as we are not able to see we have to contact your call centre daily and spend money for our benefit. Is it justifiable in your consumer forum. I was simply informed by the call centre that the realignment will be done and after some days i was asked to contact the dealer vidial vision who had no responsibility at all and simply gave the engineer's name and phone and we have to make arrangements to contact them for realignment. Is it the way a big organisation like yours have to behave. Is it proper on your part for keeping silent for more than 45 days. Your have no control over your dealers who has to be instructed to do the realighnment on a war footing basis. Even their engineers have not at all responded to our requests and we have to run behind them. Even though I have registered a consumer complaint I was contacted by your consumer department on 26.12.2010 i.e. after 5 days of receipt of complaint just to inform that it will be taken up with the technical department. Your call centre has refused to give me connections to the higher officials to speak. I want to know whether you will be adjusting the subscription for the period for which your signals are not beamed to our dish and we have not utilised the services of the dish due to your utter failure to attend the realignment in time without putting the consumers into difficulty. As you are collecting the subscriptions in advance it is your boundan duty to adjust the subscription for the period for which you have not provided the service due to your technical snag. In my case from 11.11.2010 to 28.12.2010 the realignment was not at all done by your engineers or your dealers engineers. I have to get hold of some private person by paying Rs.200 for realignment. This charge had also to be borne by your as the technical snag is yours and the service is refused to us without our fault. I would like to get clarified whether you are going to extend my subscription period by 45 days or not. After my attempts to get the realignment done at my cost your service centre and the technical department call on my cell phone whether realignment is done or not. So far you are unable to contact me and give responsible answers. You have no good follow up procedure to avoid complaints. I am seeing too many complaints about the poor service. But your organisation is not at all interested in rectifying the procedure. You are receiving the subscription in advance and we the consumers are put into difficulty and you are enjoing the benefits. How far it will go and it is time for you to raise and rectify the procedural defects. I hope I will be getting the subscription for 45 days extended beyond that the expiry period and an intimation will be sent to me by e mail or by post. I hope at least you will respond to this immediately

                      The broad cost of TV channels has been stoped due to tech issues in SuN direct 15 days before.

                      and we have been informed that the Tech people will come and do the dish alignment.

                      I had bought the SUN Direct TV Product, receipt number 1300 from SUN DIRECT Dealer Company(AV Associates, Pattom, Trivandrum) on 12th May 2010. This is information to you that the product is defective due to their satellite position change and my numerous verbal complaints to their personnel have yielded no results.

                      None of their number will not work! Only call center person will pick the phone! As you know they have same answer to you every time.

                      I have never been let down by SUN DTH in the past four months

                        Why the hell the sundirect is giving ads for the new connections when they are not able to service the existing customers.
                        Their service is comedy and the ads they give is also a comedy keeping baffoons in the ad.
                        at last giving up the hope on this idiotic service channel, i am throwing the sundirect dish and the setup box in muncipality dustbin and going for another service immediately.

                          Since last one Year I am watching the Sundirect DTH - Actually my renewal Date is 25th December 2010,I recharged Ten day before for the watching purpose of Ten Cricket - India Vs South Africa I test Match, TEN Cricket Live Telecast, I purchased and Scratched the 110 recharge card for sun tv local channels and again two 25 Rupees Card . I watch the Ist Test Match very Happily and customer care promised me that no need to recharge again on 25th December again, After Ten Days i.e Christmas Morning 6'0 clock I came to know that 25th Morning sun direct telecasting was stopped to me My card No. [protected] then i registered the complaints through customer care. They promised me to rectify the deactivation into Activation within 48 hours. But i unable to tolerate that why they punished me because i recharged for 110 sun local channels + two 25 rupees card before 10 days then why they put into deactivate, More Than ten Times I register the complaints to customer care Department - the Staff everyone says simply said the word sorry for the Inconvenience and wait for 48 Hours. I got frustrated and still i am not getting the connectivity for watching the Ten Cricket Live. So i hereby asking the question is i renewed ten days then why i have to wait for 48 hours. Still it is gone around 60 hours but still i am not getting the connection from sundirect i.e. Ten Cricket. so realize my tolerance but what i did yesterday afternoon I purchased another 110 recharged coupon and i activate sun local connections with customer care. Try to understand my feelings i lost all the programmes of Christmas and Stars - Director function on 25th in Sun Television and all. I need a compensation for my loss on that particular day and still i am not getting my Ten Cricket

                            Sun Direct — channels transmission

                            Dear Sir,
                            Except gemini channel there is no transmission of other channels like Maa TV, Gemini movies, ETV etc., I had called customer care and they said that due to satellite change we are facing this problem and the request was taken 3 weeks back for proper satellite transmission, but till date there is no response. I had called customer care yesterday i.e. 13th Nov 2010 and they have comfirmed that by today the problem will be resolved but still there is no response. If we dont pay on time channel transmission will be stopped but after paying for channels most of the channels does not work.

                              I have been a customer of Sun Direct with Smart Card No. [protected] for the last two years. Recently, Sun Direct changed their satellite for which our DTH should be realigned. They said Sun Direct Officials will visit our house and align the dish if I register with Sun direct Head office, Somajiguda. I registered with the customer care office at least two dozen times since October, 2010 onwards. The Last complaint register Number 7596 is given to me. After registration and an assurance which they give us within 24 hours rectify the complaint. So far no person has tern up to my house.

                                      I am a customer for sun direct DTH Service. The sun direct DTH service is not working from last two months. Now it is totally nil. Even the info channel is off. The customer care center says that the box has to be tuned for the new satellite, as there was a change in the satellite services from sun direct. We are requesting for the required service from nearly last two months and have lodged the complaint many times, but till date no service call nor and service is been done for the same. Even, in spite of repeated calls, no reply for any type of service.
                                      Yes this worst product, they want to make money for that this people wants make us fool no service at all i have called more that 1000 time no response from them. end of the i called one of my friend his working for a Cable Networking i came & Rectified my problem. this way this people are working chumma they want to put ad to make money.

                                        I Suresh have a sun direct DTH connection. I have been complaining for realignment of my dish from last two months but nobody has come to do that and every time when i call to the customer care they says next two days your problem would be solved. They are saying same thing from last two months.
