Am customer of sundirect dth

Sun Direct has moved to a new Satellite. When I switch on my TV, I am getting a message saying "We have moved to a new satellite. Hence your Dish needs to be retuned to the new satellite immediately. Service on this satellite will stop shortly. Our distributor/Dealer will do the Dish adjustment free of cost. To enjoy uninterrupted programs/Channels please contact your nearest dealer/distributor immediately."

It’s been more than two and half month passed. Day by day the no. of channels I am viewing is reducing but every month Sun direct charging for the total channels. Apparently Sun direct charging for the services which are not actually provided to me. I am very frequently calling Sun direct customer care and complaining them to provide the full services. So far five service request has been raised to restore the services for me on priority. As per the customer care people my request has been transferred to the Technical department 2 days back. But nothing happened.

Here I am loosing money in two ways.

1. I am paying for the services which I am not getting from Sun direct
2. I had to call Sun direct customer care very frequently to get the complete services.

As this is the problem with service provider (Sun direct) why should customer suffer with that? They should have engaged adequate staff to restore the services. Otherwise they should not charge for the services which they are unable to provide.

Since from last 3 month Sun direct mentally tortured me a lot. My family is also suffering a lot due to this. I have no patience to wait. I request you to kindly do the needful.

Please re-install software by going to factory default setting and put 0000 on password and re start setbox and put 12316 and 30000 automaticaly the channels will re-tune to setbox

I have done to my setbox success and a tick mark will come on INFO CHANNEL

    I am using sun direct for last few years ,since last three months i cant acsess any chanals through my connection ,i made the complaint vary next day when i lost the channels ,i called there customer care more than 3 times per weak ,but untill now i dedent get any good responds from their side ,i dident make any delay for monthly payment ,mysmart card number [protected],and connection holder seema v.

    I am using sun direct when sundirect launch their dth, since last three months i cant acsess any chanals through my connection, i made the complaint vary next day when i lost the channels, i called there customer care more than 3 times per weak, there is no responsible from their side, I already paid the amount without receiving the channels, they have refund my amount or extend theri period, mysmart card number [protected], and connection holder Anandakrishnan
    Hi.

    We are really fed up with the way the sun direct customer care is treating the customer. Very poor response and no follow ups given on the complaints. Though the complaint is raised for 2 or 3 times they give us the same answer that they would turn out in 48 hrs and finally not... may be wondering whether there clocks has been stopped...??????for the people who are yet to take connection pls think twice or thrice, , , , ,

      I'm really very helpless person because i've chosen this connection. I've requested 4 times to your team to change my pack (within last 13 days) Complaint Numbers:(1) [protected] (2)[protected] (3)1-[protected] and everytime i found same answer: "sir apko dobara call nahi karna padega, 48 hrs me apki problem ka resolution ho jayega?"

      I just want to know that HOW MANY '48 HOURS CYCLE' YOU PEOPLE WILL TAKE TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE?

      I'm Really very much upset and because of My job i don't find time to call your dealer to DISCONNECT THIS CONNECTION. but tomorrow is Saturday and I'll defiantly Put this Issue in MY AWHO/RWA Society with the Incident Report to NOT TO ENTER ANY SUN-DIRECT DEALER INTO SOCIETY AREA. because U Guyz are helpless in resolving issues, and Please tell me the procedure to take my remaining money back so that i can disconnect this system and take any other working connection.
      And it's my promise that same incident report will go to RTI.

        I am really DISAPPOINTED with the services of Sun-direct.

        I requested them to change pakage. I am calling customer care from 3.14 pm dt of 2.2.2010 to today dt of 17.12.2010 and they were not able to give me the correct information. I asked customer care executive all were telling that there is tecnical issue which will be rectified in 15 min to 24 ours. but I called continuaously. but technical issue was not rectified.

        THIS is my kind request for right now please to ask them to provide good services otherwise I have to disconnect my services. I wasted around Rs150 from all calling Customer Service.

        PLEASE TREAT THIS MATTER URGENT

        Iam really sorry to say that the local service in Ambajogai is worst no body is ready to rectify our problem and nobody is having enough knowledge in this perticular field so i request u to change the distruburator and make some arrangment so that people can get maximum help.

          we have not been getting 90% of the regular channels since 40 days now. every one or two days a channel is blocked ..... problem happens to be with the Sun Direct who changed their satellite and the distributors must tune the frequency of the dish and adjust it to the new satellite. we have made many calls to the customer care sun direct here in Hyderabad who just take down the complaint and assure that problem will be rectified in a day but it doesn't happen .

          distributor is Tirupathi enterprises ,Balkampet road, near choupal fresh, hyderabad

          we are complaining since 40 days and they have not turned up yet.

          Sun Direct DTH — Satellite changed, but no service provided for adjustment

          I had bought a Sun Direct DTH connection from a vendor called Sunshine in Thippasandra. Recently, Sun Direct changed its satellite, and we were asked to request an adjustment of the Dish to the new satellite. I called the Sun Direct customer care, and after raising the same complaint atleast twice, I was not provided with any help. The Sun Direct dealer provides a new number every time I call them, and no one picks up the calls.

          Since I have taken a 1 year subscription, I am paying money for services that I do not get.
          Please advise.
          I have given my complaint to adjust the Dish 20 days and following up with their Customer Care and their dealer M/s Zig Zac Solutions, Ashok Nagar. No body has turned up even after repeated follow up. I thick Sun DTH has no customer care service atall. Just to recharge they keep somebody. Other queries will not be attended. They did not even bother to reply to a customer's mail or their requiest. Now in Tamil channels only Sun and Kalaiger group channels are being telecasted in Sun DTH. They want to suppress the other channels instead of competing with them

          Buying Sun DTH is a mere waste.

          Sun Direct — Changed Satellite but no service

          Sun Direct has changed their Satellite direction. As a result we are not getting TV channels for over a month now.

          We keep on trying to call the number it is always busy. Earlier they said we have to call the local distributor directly. Distributor never picks the phone.

          Finally we managed to file a complaint with Sun Direct on Oct 24th. They mentioned that somebody will resolve the issue in 72 hours. So far we have not received any calls from anybody regarding this. I still keep calling them and everytime there is a new excuse.

          Sun Direct — CHANNELS NOT BEEN TELECASTING

          compaint about TV Channles not comming because of Sattlite Change of Sun Direct, I have made complaint on 28-Oct-2010 through Complaint No:[protected], Still nobody has rectified. Please solve the issue ASAP
          Its very Usefull to Customers,
          whatever is written is very true... even i m facing with the same problem... since last 2 weeks we are following up with the customer care person but to no avail... every time they give us a different number... i really regret why i purchased this dish... its services are really horrible...
          Me too facing the same problem, very poor response from customern care.

          Sun Direct Satellite — No Service

          I am Saravanan from Bangalore. I using Sun Direct DTH Service from past 1 year and subscribed one more year also. Now, we are not getting any channels except Sun TV & Mega TV. I have sent 4 mail to [protected]@sundirect.in and called Customer care twice. There is no action has taken for this issue. NO REPLY for the mail also.

          Dealer or Technician are not available for re-tune the Dish. I am facing this problem from past 2 months and I have paid one year subscription already.

          I lost my amount for the past 2 months. I am loosing confident on Sun direct Service.

            Sun Direct changed the satellite view, but the dish view is not changed to customers for past two months, they can view only Sun TV not other channels. customer support is not replying proper answar after made th complaint two months before.

              I.m S.K basha, a customer of Sun Direct stayin at MintoRoad New Delhi,..
              I have been givin complaints for reallingnment of my dish for N numner of times...my compailnt nos.. are DS 359312/11, DL 357420/11,DL 303011/12....etc.but till date no one has approched for attendin the same nor called back for confermation..The service has become so worst that no channel could be viewed resultin in no other choice but to change to local cable connection or other DTH service .Im not the only in this area,.Hence I humbly request the athourities to look into it and attend to it at the earliest.

                Since last couple of months Sun Direct DTH is not working at all, Even after calling the customer care people till now no body had responded , whenever i called them their response is to start collecting history of me then finally says in 24 hrs we will be rectifying the problem. But till now no body has come to fix it.

                Customer care people say they have less technicians so it might take some time. How can a company run with lesst technicians , I strongly suggest them to shutdown their company and stop cheating people.


                I STRONGLY SUGGEST EVERY BODY TO NOT TO GO TO SUNDIRECT DTH CONNECTION EVEN BY MISTAKE AND DO NOT BECOME A PREY FOR THEM

                Sun Direct — Sun Direct people are not responding to the complaints

                After four five days the sun direct agency people belongs to A. Narayanapura, Bangalore are not responding to the complaint. Daily i am making calls to the agent. They are simply telling that they are sending the person, or on the way like that, many excuses. Some times these people are picking the phone and cutting the calls. Very irresponsible persons. I wants to give complaint to the higher officials regarding the same. Please guide me in this regard.
                MY SUN DIRECT SET TOP BOX NOT FUNCTIONING SINCE OCT 09. ALMOST DAILY I AM BEHIND SUN DIRECT PEOPLE OVER PHONE FOR SERVICING THE SAME BUT TILL TODAY OVER 3 MONTHS I DIDN'T GET A SOLUTION. I WENT DIRECTLY TO SERVICE CENTRE AND HANDED OVER THE SETTOP BOX BUT THE SAME RESULT. NOT SERVICED TILL TODAY.

                Sun Direct DTH — Worst Service Ever

                Hi All,

                This is the best worst service ever faced in life time, ever since we have taken this connection we have been facing problems from day 1 and till date the same is continuing , only wastage of money and energy in calling the customer service.

                Till date we have raised complaints 28 times but till date no response from their side.

                I really suggest each and every one not to opt this service, if not people will be in trouble.


                Awards in the category of the worst services ever then i would suggest this as the only nominee.

                  I am a SUN DTH consumer. SUN DTH has been moved to some other satellite due to that almost all channels are not available and in the same regards comapany has issued free service for DISK re-alignment. I have logged multiple complaints for the same.I called customer care, nearest dealer and even AP Nodal office, i sent couple of mails also inever get any response from anybody
                  More than 2 months have been passed but there is no actions from SUN DTH. finally i made it from some private technician he charged Rs200/- me for it and i missed all channels though i paid for them in that period i wanted to get back all these(money + 2 months subscription)

                  We need your favour to get it resolved.

                      We are already fed up with sun direct DTH connection and nobody is taking any action against this service. We have made complaint to India broad band forum also. Unfortunately they have taken action against me (a poor customer) because of multiple complaint against Sun direct. They don't have the spunk to take action against Sun direct DTH system. It means the broad forum themselves are controlled by Sun direct people. Can anybody help me to find out a solution to take some action against this sun direct DTH people
                      India Broadband forum may be controlled by sun direct people. Keep away from such type of forums. They can hack your system IP number and can do looting the system

                          I purchased a Sun Direct DTH Service from One year back.My smart card no:-[protected]
                          I am facing lot of problems from six months that i am unable to watch the channels even i paid for these channels. i called so many times but sun tv customer care people saying thaat we moved to new satelite. so the problems will come.


                          Before two months back i called up customer care again they told us u have to recharge the amount so that your all channels can watch.After that i faced same problem earlier.

                          Again i called customer care talk to mr Amir. I lodged a complain no:-1-[protected] on dated 21/11/2010. They promised me to resolve my problem within 48 hrs.Till now problem is not solved.

                          so kindly do needful action againest this type of company those taking money from customer but they r not bother about the customer service.

                            Hi,
                            It is really unfortunate that I have to write to about SUN direct like this but I am forced to do that. I have been complaining to the local service provider of SUN direct to get the dish antenna aligned to get the signals from the new satellite as day by day the channels are disappearing ....right now I am left with only few useless channels ...
                            Whenever I call the customer care of Sun Direct (I do not want to tell how many times, because it is embracing to me that I have to have a service from a service provider to whom I should make so many calls to get a response) every time they make the false promises that the alignment problem will be rectified and technicians will be sent to my residence within 48 hours till date no action has been initiated to rectify the problem. This is the worst ever customer support a service company can provide for a prepaid service.
                            Please do something to get this addressed ...your immediate attention to this request is highly appreciated as this is not only one case as my friends in this area also have the same complaint (I checked in internet I could see 100s of SUN DTH customers complaining the same)

                            SUN DTH — dish adjustment

                            I have sun dth ,last one month i have been received message sun DTH launched new satellite so that customer have to call local sun dth dealer or call [protected] no for adjust DTH dish .I given a call to them they given a compliant no [protected] on 16th november.They told that techician will come and adjust within 3 days .But i given call 5 times on the same number. I have gone extreme level of frustration.

                            My smart card no is :[protected] .So far ( more than 15 days) they are not given a solution. Now i am getting only 3( regional ) channels out of 130 channels .

                            Please do the needful.
                            I am waiting for 2 months. You will get few channels initially and eventually not even a single channel wil be shown. regretting for choosing Sun Direct
                            I completly agree with him. Same problem in my case also. I have been trying to reach customer care from last 4 months. Untill now none of the technical people came and fixed the problem. Which is really bad.. And now I am not getting even a single channel.

                            Please some raise a compliant and sue the sundirect people.

                            Sun Direct — Dish Alignment - Terrible service

                            Hi,

                            I am one of the most dissatisfied users of Sun Direct. I switched over from Dish TV to Sun Direct a few months ago and now I realise that it is a big blunder. They are just good in their avertisements and sales but not in terms of service

                            We are not getting any channel other that SUN for the last 2 months. I would have followed up with your people atleast 15 times so far. Every time, they promise that they would send someone to realign the dish within 24 hours (This is because of their problem of changing the satellite) but no one has come so far. I did not expect that it would be so worse a service from SUN

                            Even when we escalate the matter to Nodalofficer of Sun, there is not a single response from him too.

                            Every time I call, I need to wait for a lot of time and every time, they will ask for the problem as if it is new and would ask for address, phone number, etc. It is ridiculous how they are running such a large company. We should file a case as a community and do something about it.

                            SUN DTH has a terrible customer care and Service in Hyderabad. I have calling them up for realignment of Dish and are unable to provide people with realignment nor they provide consumers with alignment information.

                            I was fed up with their service and threw away my dish for Scrap.
                            same case with me too...

                            Dish Relocation & Reallignment
                            I have moved from hyderabad to pune, i have informed sun direct customer care for relocation of my dish to new address, they have given a complaint number one month back, till now they are not responsing.

                            when ever i made a call, They told that techician will come and adjust within 2 days .But i have given call 20 times on the same number.

                            I agree, the same problem is here. i am also calling again n again to customer care for alignment problem but no reponse they always say sorry for inconvience n promise for sending someone in 48 hrs but the same,
                            dont buy sundirect its a pain...

If your service is out of business then please let the consumers know so that we can buy some other dth service instead of fooling us like this.

                                Sun Direct is Worst Service

                                I am Manohar, i have been using last one and half year Sundirect, last 6 months i have been facing lot of problems with this service, there is no proper response from the customer representative, just they will give some suggestions whatever they feel, it wont give any resolution and time and phone bills waste, Its No 1 Worst Servcie in India, i may be not knowking other service provider, but as per my experinece its worst...

                                The channels went off the air since 01/JUL/2010 and i have registered many complaints in this regard. The latest one [protected] .The bangalore customer care seems to always busy and they said they will attend it max 3 days.I have been following up with the customer care for the last 4 Months .The sun direct person is yet to visit and rectify it. My connection is valid till Mar-2011 and they have deprived me of watching the channels i have purchased.
                                Is there any way to get my money back ?

                                Pls don’t take SUN Direct DTH if you are looking for a new connection .They are high tech thieves

                                .This Sun Direct peoples are making us fool. Last one month I am struggling with their customer service. Every time they will give a commitment to attend my complaint but till date nothing has happened. Now I am fed up and decided to go for some other connection and I am advising my friends and relatives to avoid these peoples

                                  i have given 152 complaints on there no. [protected]/[protected] each call cost me around rs.5/-
                                  as per the company policy i should get 130 channels but i m only getting 16-20 chennels from last two months inspide of giving so many complaint there is not taking any action

                                    i got sundirect connection about 2 years, from last three months my channels are disappearing one by one, at present total dish is gone, displaying 'no channels' (because of their satellite change) . i complained to customer care nearly more than 10 times(by call and mail ) in last 3 months, no person came to rectify the problem till now.totally i lost 3months rental (330) and service distrubance.please help me.

                                    We are facing the signaling problem from last 30 days. We are keep on complaining to Sun Direct, but still now they haven't taken any action and talkig irresposibly.

                                    SUN DTH — No channels Since More Than 1 Month

                                    Hi,

                                    I am an unfortunate customer of SUN DTH.I had taken 2 SUn Direct connections[Smart Card No.s:[protected]R & [protected]].
                                    The first connection[Smart Card No.[protected]R] does not show any channels though we have validity till June 6th.I had made a complaint with their customer care more 1 month back.Since then I have been making complaints and now I have a huge collection of complaint numbers but no one from the customer care has bothered to resolve.One lady named Shravani said that she is taking down my complaint personally and would resolve within 48 hrs.Another senior executive named Charan Das took my complaint and said I would never have to make a call again and would resolve it.The 3rd time the executive who took the call was very rude.
                                    Second connection[Smard Card no.[protected]] whose validity expired and I got it recharged for Rs 110, for which I had Malayalam pack enabled, I am now receiving only 3 channels and 1 Telugu channel.I am not even getting DD channels nor any other Malayalam channels.
                                    4 days back some distributors called me saying they would come and resolve it but no one came.When I called them they said since there was a match they cannot come and moreover they would charge a service charge of Rs 150/- per connection.Looks like this is how SUN DTH fleeces money from people.Local cable connections are so much better than SUN.
                                    I suggest everone to not take any connections from SUN.

                                    I too had a same experience like you.We are also not getting some malayalam channels and DD channels.I had made complaints five times.But each time they say we had accepted your complaint and wait for 48 Hrs.One person from sundirect said that he resolve the complaint for which he need service charge as 150 rupees.
                                    I request all those who plan to take sun direct tv, not to take it because later you will repent.

After 10 Days i called up again on 10th December to know the status of the complaint and the executive has told me it may take some more days and anyhow i am forwarding this request once again to technical department. by evening all my exisiting channels which are working also vanished today i called customer care again to know the reason to my surprise the executive says because i am calling daily the previous complaints are closed and new complaints are generated due to which it will treated as fresh complaint. I donot know how they are closing the tickets with out reason and even they do not have any ETA for our complaints and even they have no information with Customer care executives. I came to know that who ever is intrested to pay Rs.200 as service charge technicians will attend them first.

                                      SUN DTH SERVICE — Customer Care

                                      I am from Bangalore. I am the one of Sun DTH user and using from past one year. I have recharged my account for one year subscription and it should be activated thru customer care. I have tried 3 days for Customer care line and not connected also. They did not care about the customer. Customer Care service is very poor
