Dear Sir/Madam,



My Name is Satish and availing service of SUN DIRECT DTH from last three years on address : - Village Bhairapur, Post: Rataul, Dist: Baghpat, P-201101, landmark : Near Primary School. On 10.12.2010 i did the recharge of monthly channel pack of Rs.133.


Also contacted your customer care - but no resolution had been provided yet, as per customer care - some technical executive will visit my place to rectify my problem but no one turned up.


Rather than this - i m getting charged for every day although i m not getting services from SUN Direct DTH Service.


Request you to kindly look into the matter or request you to kindly provide the higher management detail so that my issue get resolved ASAP.


Since 10.12.2010 to till date i.e:23.12.2010 i m on same problem.


They are below mention details my side:

    I have a SUN Direct DTH. My smart card No is [protected]. For past one month, we are not able to watch any channel from this service. We have already made complaints with Sun Customer Service Centre in Delhi. We are not satisfied with Delhi customer Service. MD of Sun Direct DTH is requested to look into the matter and try to settle the case as early as possible.
    I hope by registering this complaints on online will do better service.

    My smart Card No. of Sun Direct DTH system is[protected]. Due to change of sattelite, some important channels, like malayalam news channels including surya TV are not available since last one month. I have lodged many complaints but no response received from Sun DTH. Also I contacted office on telephone No.[protected] but they are not responding properly. They asked me to report the show room from where I purchased. I got this connection from an agent at Vengara Electronics and they give me the above telephone for booking the complaints if any at the time of installation. My complaint No.1-[protected]. If you are not responding to my complaint within two days I have no any other option except to approach to consumer court.

    SUN DTH — NON AVAILABILITY OF SERVICE FOR MORE THAN A TWO MONTH

    I have been complaining SUN DTH for the realignment for more than 2 months. But still dish realignment problem had not got rectified. My smart card no is:[protected]. The distributor(Tirupathi Enterprises) who has supplied me was also not able to serve me. But he has taken the amount for 2 years till now in advance. My complaints logged are as below:

    I also wasted more 1000 Rs for the phone charges inorder to call the customer care. I experienced the worst serviece in the customer care. Let me know when this can be rectified at the earliest.

    Advice to the SUN DTH:
    If you could not able to service the customers shut your office, but do not play games with the customers.

    Sun Direct — Non availability of Channel

    Dear Sir,
    I am one of sun direct customer before20 days i am not geting any channel and came to know that it necessary to realign Dish inline with new satelite so i placed complaint (ref no:1-[protected] ) in sun direct customer care centre, but till date no one has came for realignment and i have spoke to customer care there is no commitment except exuses. i dont know how sun direct will be penalised for such irresponsible acts and some of my query as below.
    1. Sundirect already know they will be migrating to new satelite hence all new connections in last one year, but they failed to intiate the action till last moment.
    2. whteather sun direct will remove chrges for above period! , if not then customers are fool to pay when no service and no attention is paid.
    3. if sun direct has shortage to man power how they are able to provide new connections with distributor, whoes technician can perform same operation as sun direct technicians.
    Same Happens with Me and think all of them, we should forward the complaint in serious manner.

    Recently Sun direct changed their satilite signals, so every customer needs to change their dish directions and update the receiver s/w.

    You can't get the line even after 15 times continues calls, anytime during the day. That is the situation in Bangalore.

    Sun Direct customer care is worst than Govt. Service.

    Better call your local sundirect dealer who sold the Dish for you and ask him to fix the issue. (They might ask for some money, though it should be a free service).

    Convey all your collegues, avoid buying Sun DTH

    I recharged my SUN DIRECT (Smart Card No. [protected], Settop Box No.C[protected]) on 4th August for Malayalam Basic package. Till now I am not getting any channels. I had already made 30 complaints to [protected]. They told that my complaint has been forwared to the seniors and asked me to keep my Settop Box and TV on for 2 hrs. But I am not recieving any channels for the last 8 days.

    So, I lost 8 days of service and I still have a balance of around 150 rupees with SUN DIRECT.

    Can you kindly do something to actiate my subscription and recieve tha channels.

      Hello Friends all over India.

      Below is the procedure to file a case in the consumer court for not getting the service from Sun Direct:

      1. Send a formal complaint to their Helpdesk from their website if not already done. You won't get a receipt from their site neither a ticket number.
      2. To overcome the above situation, please send the same complaint to their email address from your email so that you have the mail in your Sent Items folder as a proof of sending the mail to them. Print this mail to them.
      3. Keep your original Invoice of Sun Direct Ready along with some photocopy.
      4. Wait for a considerable amount of time (say 2 weeks), if you are not heard from the Sun Direct. Keep all their responses safe, if you receive them. (Sometimes they will give you some vague replies telling that it will take 2-3 days, etc....) Print them and put along with the above complaint's mail (Step 2).
      5. Take all your documents along with you and file a case with a written application on a plain paper about your problem.
      6. A notice will be served to Sun Direct and they will be given a chance to put their facts forward.
      7. After hearing both the sides, THE CASE WILL BE DECIDED IN YOUR FAVOR, because they have not honored their committment of service to the customer.

      Hope the above steps would be of some help to someone looking out for some help.

        I am a customer of sun direct since last one and half year.But since last 2 month i am facing problem in viewing channel. later on i came to know that this is due to satellite change.more detail about me are as following :-

It's been about 1 month when I complained first on customer care.Later on i also complained more then 5 time but no response is received yet even a single call from Sun direct.I have enough account balance about 200 rs but not getting proper use of that.Now i am very much frustrated due to this so i am writting you last time....now i want to solve my problem within 2 days......otherwise i will have to unsubscribe Sun direct connection and also claim for my account balance with my inconvenience also. I hope you have understood my problem and will have a look on it.

          I am switching to Dish TV. Think they are the best. This Sun Direct is not a professional company. If any of Sun Direct Management is reading this. I would tell them you have to first train your customer care personnel. They are the worst. People wont mind paying money and getting it fixed, you might have charged 100rs or so and the local guys could have come and fix it. Definitely you are losing 1000's of Customer like me. I will ever turn back to your products.

            Hi,

            The broad cost of TV channels has been stoped due to tech issues in SuN direct 3 months before.

            and we have been informed that the Tech people will come and do the dish alignment.

            But even after so many compliants raised through Email & phone calls to customer Service there is no response from their end.

            on Each call they informing it will take further 2 or 3 days.

            But evern after 3 months its not resolved.

            We are trying to re-charge our Sundirect smart card, we are unable to reach the customer care Chennai phone number[protected] for the past 3 days, all we hear is the automated voice of BSNL "The customer you have called is busy...", does any ppl knew an alternate number for re-charging.
            Recharging can be done through their web site at sundirect.in
            But there is no point in recharging, as the complete network is down due to satellite signals issues...
            They have blacked out my TV since 7th July 2010...

            one of the most worst customer care service is sun direct customer care (It's not a customer care . only telling in lies including team leader , technician etc...). Because i gave 8 complaints in Sun direct customer care. every time they are told just wait for 48 hours. i waited for one months( i gave complaint 01-SEP-10 today date is 30-SEP-10) for complaint process. still now one resolve the problem. i sent mail to [protected]@sundirect.in but no reply that mail. i don't what they are doing in office hours. still now i wasted nearly 200 rupees for to spoke with customer care and one month DTH rent. totally i wasted nearly 350 rupees.

            my smart card no is [protected]R i used to give complaint from last one month. Every time i used to give complaint in customer care they promise us that within 2 hrs a technician will contact us but still day not even a single technician contact us. I also met the shope person from i purchased this fraud DTH he visited my house after promising him to pay rs 200 but he managed to watch only DD channels. From next day he also stopped to attend our phone calls[[protected]]. What a fraud company is Sun Direct it don't have any connection between customer care to dealer or distributor or between any technician. Just a vagabond type service good for nothing. One of the fraudest service in INDIA.
            my DTH services are not available to me for the past 20 days and there is no response from the local dealer after even complained repeatedly.I am really fed up with this and trying to find out the way out of this.

              For sun direct dish realignment purpose nearby one month 20times complaint to customer care but no bodies given the solution, finally i removed dish and purchase other company dish, now working good customer care support also good, my personal advise please don’t purchase sun direct dish customer support and commitment are very Very worst.

                I owned a Sun direct DTH service([protected]).
                3months back i have relocated from hyderabad to pune,
                i have requested sun customer care to relocate my dth connection, they have provided me a
                complaint number[protected] , Since then i am following up for every 3days ,
                every time they are giving new complaint number and they told that their technical will come with in 2days, but they are not resolving it till today.

                I have emailed my complaint to maharastra nodal office thrice, [protected]@sundirect.in
                i did not get reply to my.

                i have recharged my smartcard for one year. kindly arrage my money back.

                Sundirect — poor customer service

                sun direct DTH service is having worst customer service, after making call to their IVRS system installed in number[protected] it asking to hold the line, it is asking to hold the line for even more than 20 minutes that costs a call about Rs.30/- that amount goes from pocket of sundirect customer .i have spend more than Rs.250/- on two days by calling their number. Even spending this much amount i could not speak to their customer care(!) personal.

                My problem is i have sufficient amount in my credit for sundirect DTH service, even though they have deactivated my DTH connection.
                I too faced the same problem, every time 10 to 20 min of waiting time to connect the call and loosing lot of money, even after connecting the line immediately disconnecting the call from customer care.Its horrible and irritating.Please take an action on this.

                We have been making phone call to all sun-direct agent and customer care last 15days but no response. I feel that wrongly i have selected to use SUNDIRECT and all their advertisement are fake and No service at all.

                I have purchase Sun Direct last 3 years back. But from last five month my experince is very very bad. They are displaying in there channels that they are shifting to new Satelight and they will be sending Service person to for adjust the Dish.

                Even after paying amount i am not able to view channels . and i have call more then 150 time to the customer care service but no response. Every time they give new date .

                There is a very simple solution. Never and Ever go for sun-direct and try to inform the same to the world abt their service. Pick your nearest cable connection through whivh u could view 80 channels including sports channel.
                I have got a SUN Direct connection at Chennai and subsequently on the adivse of the local dealer at Chennai, I have transferred it to Delhi. Now, the Delhi Customer Care is not willing to either update my records or give the local distributor's name and telephone no. for further recharging.

                I request the SUN Direct authorities to look into this.

                Hello sundirect customer care

                your services is horrible, your call center executives are really pathetic, they don't know how to understand customers requirements.
                1.) without getting customers confirmation they them self recharge the package what am not requiring.
                2.) whenever i request to know about the complaint number status, your executives are not answering properly.
                3.) your recharge plans are not clear to understand easily.
                4.) whenever i recharge it is not automatically recharged. i should call the toll free or other std number they said your complaint has taken to account this will get resolve in 48 to 72 hours if i didn'tcall even after 72 hours i need to call them again and they given another complaint number. also once they resolved the didn't give any status of my complaint number to my mobile number or my account in http://www.sundirect.in

                  I have purchased ‘Sun Direct’ Dis-Antenna from your authorized distributor M/s. Harmonics, Nimtala Chawak, Midnapore, West Bengal 721101. through voucher no DC 2633 Smart Card No [protected], Dated 07/10/2009. Now, I am facing lot of inconveniences for receiving the channels due to shifting of Satellite directions from Company End. Local company agent visited home for setting the channels and he demand carrying cost of Rs. 50/-. When I refuse to give the money , he left from my residence without any setting. It is also mentioned here that the Company advertising on the TV channels that the setting of satellite channel free of cost. I also spoke through phone at Kolkata and Chennai Corporate office regarding this issue but Kolkata office said I have to must pay the charge otherwise I have to receive the channels. Your early action in this regard is highly appreciated please. A line in reply will be highly solicited.

                    It has been 25 days since I have complained SUN DIRECT reg the pathetic channel service. I am able to recieve very few channels ( and just 2 channel that I desire). The company is charging full amount for not providign the service. When complained reg the same they say the technicians shall come and fix the problem, but till date there is not service from their end.

                    I want the SUN Direct to refund my service charges that I am being levied for NOT watching the channels.

                    I hope some action shall be taken such fraudlent service providers, as there are many other people who are sufferign from their pathetic service.

                    I finally solved the problem, I got rid of SunDirect all together, I switched to another service provider. SunDirect has been such a pathetic service provider !! Their technicians /distributors are illogical and be prepared to have a BP tablet before you dare talk to them.

                    And I don't know why the hell is this complaint marked as resolved rather than "could not resolve".

                      I availed sundirect DTH services in April 2010. Since last three months I am not able to get majority of the channels. November first week I lodged complaint and Sundirect informed me they will send their technician to realign the dish. Since after that regularly I am following up. Every time I got assurance that technicial will visit at the earliest. Since december 1st onwards I am not able to see any channels. Followed up with sundirect directly and through dealer. But till time nobody is turned up.

                      I am disturbed with regular follow up. My family is not able to watch TV channels.

                      I request forum to help me to get the total refund amount of Rs.1750/- plus last 2 months refilled amount Rs.320/- plus Rs.10000/- towards the compensation for mental agony caused to me.

                      Sun Direct DTH Services — Not able to view channels, nobody listening

                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                      This is with reference to the sun direct connection we have taken. From the last two months sundirect is moving to a new satellite and we are told to contact customer care for the same.


                      We have lodged a complaint on 13th Nov 10 via complaint no. as 1-[protected] for satellite updater and we were assured that soon the problem will be rectified by a service engineer.


                      We have been following for the same to call center no.[protected] almost every week and till date nothing had been done.


                      Later on , on 14th Dec 10 we again approach one of your senior and we got this complaint no. as 1- [protected], still nothing had been done.

                      Till date we are only getting reference nos. ( DL-3586-23/12) but no one has contacted us. In fact nobody bothers to revert to the mail even.

                      We have already paid for 6 month service and taken other packages even. Now we want our money back and we are now forced to change our DTH service provider.

                      I too have taken a DTH conncetion from SUN direct with smart card number :[protected] in Hyderabad. Since 2 weeks we are not getting the channels due to poor signal strength. I have contacted the customer service several times. Each time they ask us to do some thing which does not work. It is very difficult to get their toll free number . I have to spend lot of money on the phone calls because they keep us on line for longer periods without any use. As directed in their web site I have tried for the AP nodal officer on the given telephone number [protected]. He never answered. I have given 5 mailes to the given address [protected]@sundirect.in. He has not responded to the mails also. The problem still persists.

                        Dear sir,

                        i hold sundirect connection from 13 march 2010

                        from september 2010 channels are missing one by one

                        from october 2010, no channels are vissible, showing 'no CH' on my setop box

                        i complained to sundirect through online complaint on november 2010 and december 2010
                        also throgh customer care call centre nearly 15 times by phone (call cost 8rs per call-100rs)

                        every time they told me that they will send service persons, till now nobody came for repair

                        i invested 2600rs for dish, now i cannot afford more for other dish service

                        my family didnt watch tv for last 1 month

                        plz take necessary action immediately

                        I am using this Sundirect DTH service last few months, Last two months i am not getting the audio channels. and last week onwards i am not getting Vijay TV. I have tried customer care several acations many times there is no response and if i get the person they are giving the complient no and alternate contact nos. But no one is picking the call either disconnecting the line of switched Off. But till date no body turned to rectify my complient.

                        Like i got the nos as followes.

                        [protected][protected]------- First time ringing immediatly it will be switched off
                        [protected][protected]-------- Always not reachable.
                        [protected][protected][protected] Always Switched off.
                        [protected][protected][protected] Always Switched off.
                        [protected][protected][protected] Dealer but he discontinued the business with Sundirect.
                        [protected][protected]-------- HD service they are not ready to discuss about Sun Direct DTH issues.

                        Is it this kind of service provider is required. After paying mony we have to struggle to get the service?.
                        i got sundirect connection before 8 months (totally i paid above 2500 rupees for connection), from last three months my channels are disappearing one by one, at present total dish is gone, displaying 'no channels'. i complained to customer care nearly more than 10 times in last 3 months, no person came to rectify the problem till now.
                        total connection become waste, now my tv is switched off for last month, i cannot afford for another dth connection now. my family is living without watching tv

                          my smart card no. is-[protected],
                          2 months before i repeatedly called sun dth customer care,for re allignment of receiver. they couldn't do it for me. then i made it by paying 200 rs, to a local technician.

                          today[protected],i recharged my ac. with 300rs,and asked them to add hindi channels, but they directly changed my basic package. this shows the inefficiency of the team.
                          It absolutely true that, Sun Direct taking ransom of their customers. I have also been one of the affected. I am not watching for the past 2 and half months channels in Sun Direct. After my repeated follow-up a technician has come to my house from M/s Aditya Associates, Secunderabad, taken away the set-off box for upgradation of software. After 20 days, he has not brought back set-off box and gives all false committments to attend within next 24 hours. Even I informed at the Sun direct Nodal office located at Bowenapally to Mr Feroz. From this office also i received similar false committment to rectify the problem within next 24 Hours. Now i am comtemplating to register a case in consumer forum for redresseal of my problem. Recently, Sun Direct changed their satellite for which our DTH should be realigned. They said Sun Direct Officials will visit our house and align the dish if I register with Sun direct Head office, Somajiguda. I registered with the customer care office at least two dozen times since October, 2010 onwards. The Last complaint register Number H4 40343 is given to me. After registration and an assurance which they give us within 24 hours rectify the complaint. So far no person has tern up to my house.

                              I am a resident of Talakatpura, Bangalore. I have a minor dish adjustment and software updation problem that Sun direct is nor resolving for the past 60 days!!! i am highly unsatisfied.

                              I have called them 21 times.. every time customer care gives false promises but nothing happens.
                              This is the worst customer care i have ever faced.

                              I urge sun direct to resolve this issue.

                                  I have signed for a Sun Direct subscription on 17/3/2010 by paying a sum of Rs. 2,440. For about two months now most of the channels I subscribed for cannot be viewed. I have contacted thier call center for over a dozen times during the course of the last 2 months. Every time I am promised that a technician will come over within 24 hours and attend to my need. Unfortunately I did not receive even a call from any one from Sun Direct.                                     I am using the SUN DIRECT DTH connection for the past 2 years from August 2008. Smart card NO: " [protected] " . For the past three months. I am not able to view any of the channels. I have made many complaints to SUN DIRECT regarding DISH re alignment. Yet no technical support so far.                                       My dish tv sun direct Smart Card No.- [protected] is not working since 9th December to till date, I am trying to complaine in custmore care 6th times From 9 th December but they are not showing any intrest to resolved my problem, when I call to custmore care they are saying will will be resolved my problem to sending their engginier with in 24 hours. but after 24 hours they are not calling me or my problem is same.I also talked 4-5 Sundirect Employee Per day 3-4 Times and they are saying they will come in my home within 4-5 Hours but no one come till now.I am giving you their name with Mobile Number as bellow.Please take the action against him because they are cheating with the custemer.So you are requested please help me to get resolved my problem. Other wise we will complain in consumer Court also.

                                      SUN DIRECT DTH SERVICE — TV is off for the last one month

                                      Respected Sir,
                                      I am using Sundirect Dish DTH Service for the last two years.
                                      My complaint is that firstly I was not able to view a few channels like Zee TV which the comapany told is due to the fact that the dish has to be readjusted due to some satellite problem and company is doing this for all the customers. But for the last one month all the channels are off and I could not view any channel. I have registered complaint on their toll free no. and even complaint lodged on internet on the website of the service provider many times. A few times they contacted me and assured to send some technical person but till date nobody arrived. Now they are not even responding.

                                        Sun Direct has moved to a new Satellite. When I switch on my TV, I am getting a message saying "We have moved to a new satellite. Hence your Dish needs to be retuned to the new satellite immediately. Service on this satellite will stop shortly. Our distributor/Dealer will do the Dish adjustment free of cost. To enjoy uninterrupted programs/Channels please contact your nearest dealer/distributor immediately."

                                        It’s been more than two and half month passed. Day by day the no. of channels I am viewing is reducing but every month Sun direct charging for the total channels. Apparently Sun direct charging for the services which are not actually provided to me. I am very frequently calling Sun direct customer care and complaining them to provide the full services. So far five service request has been raised to restore the services for me on priority. As per the customer care people my request has been transferred to the Technical department 2 days back. But nothing happened.

                                        Here I am loosing money in two ways.

                                        1. I am paying for the services which I am not getting from Sun direct
                                        2. I had to call Sun direct customer care very frequently to get the complete services.

                                        As this is the problem with service provider (Sun direct) why should customer suffer with that? They should have engaged adequate staff to restore the services. Otherwise they should not charge for the services which they are unable to provide.

                                        Since from last 3 month Sun direct mentally tortured me a lot. My family is also suffering a lot due to this. I have no patience to wait. I request you to kindly do the needful.
