I WOULD LIKE TO REGISTER MY DISGUST THAT FOR NEARLY MORE THAN THREE MONTHS I HAVE NOT ABLE TO WATCH THE FOLLOWING CHANNELS:-
1. CHUTTI TV
2. KALINGAR TV
3. JAYA TV
4. JAYA PLUS
5. RAJ TV
6. MAKKAL TV
even DD National is not coming.
every time i lodge a complaint with the call centre people (most of the time i don't even get their line) they simply say that there is some satellite problem and that it will be solved shortly but they are not willing to give any deadline. but they are charging with monthly subscriptions without fail. it is really very disgusting to continue with this kind of service from sundirect dth.

Kindly let me know why BBC Channel is not there in the TV package? Can this be added?

Sundirect — Channel not coming

Animex channel is not coming.. I was
the only reason I purchased sun direct .
So please do something about it
same problem unable to view NDTV imagine, MTV and many more other channels
Most of the channels are not available from yesterday 21.06.21. Error message E48-32 No Signal.
Tried to call customer care but only IVRS speaks. No one recieves the call or attend it. My consumer number is [protected].

    Dear sir,
    I have taken SUNDIRECT connection in Setember Month.After 3 months ie.from November onwards channel are not coming .when i enquired ,They said some sateelite problem which will be get resolved within one week.but still it is not resolved.
    Already i Have given four complaints and i spoke to customer excutive .but there is no response .why these people are giving worst service ,please take necessary action to avoide this kind of cheating to customers.

    SUNDIRECT was recharged on 25th Jan.'11 from that day onwards i am not able to view my subscribed channels . Inspite of following up with local sundirect executive . they replied that the same will be resolved within a day But till this time we are not getting those channels . Please do the needful.

      From last 1month i am not getting the some channels gainst pay. If i call on sundirect customer care the officails were rude to me. Not less than 10 to 15 times i called to customer care and its officials use rude always.

      If i ask them status on my complaint no they use to say wait for 48 hours and we'll get back to you.

      Pls help me out on this.

          With referances to the above subject mentioned i have made the payment of 1600 rs on 28/nov/2010 between 2.00 pm - 3.00 pm afternoon between this period of the time i have recharged it to use this sun direct DTH services but from that day i didn't get any of the channels till today my packs are one addon that is Discovery channel and Malayalam basic pack for 13 months right but when every i ask for the customer services representative they always tell that you problem will be resolved with in this week but i am launching this complaint of realingment of my dish for the last 6 months you can check in the calling center department where you will be able to find out . i am unable to use your services because of the realingment of dish services for this i have called up to your services department but they are taking in rude manner some times they use to put on hold for this i need to disconnect the call one of your representative name of person is - ANKIT RANA his taking the call and taking in a rude manner with me i just asked him to exclate this call to ur supervisor or the team leaders so that i can get the proper solution i calling and same happens every time so i request you people to help me our regarding the same for the realingment of my dish services . i would like to request to send the person to the same address as given below.

            From the last one month, I'm not getting the channels including SunTV, KTV, SunNews because of the Satellite change. Dish has to be re-aligned to get the channels.
            I made a complaint through Customer care,Hyderabad on Oct'26 2010. No resolution for the issue has been met Yet.

            From the last fifteen days, I'm calling Customer care, Distributor daily and reporting the problem. They are simply asking the Smart card number, Contact Address & Phone number and giving the assurance that the problem will be solved in 24hrs time or within 2 to 3 working days but problem has not been attended or solved yet. I want to report this issue to Nodal Officer, Andhra Pradesh but his phone will be either in Unattended mode or Out of Order. Customer care at Hyderabad is totally a failure in resolving the customer problems.

            Hi sir/ Madam,

            This is to bring to your notice that, We had sundirect connection ([protected]) from last three years and i get a problem in my connection in last year and i called customer care no for service. Then some one has came and taken my set top box with smart card for repair. but the didn't came to me till date and their phone no not working (which was given to me) and I came to know my smart card no get recharge so please help me to get return my set top box with smart card.

            Please revert me frankley.

              I have been using a sun direct DTH service for the last two years. Since August 2010, the services have been intermittent due to some sattellite problem. The local delaer is irreponsive. The call centre executives promise to look in to the proble soon. But nothing really happens. Three months have passed I have not yet get the services restored. SINCE SUN DIRECT HAS PROVED THEMSELF TO BE A PATHETIC COMPANY WHO CANNOT OFFER GOOD SERVICE, I HAVE DECIDED TO GO FOR ANOTHER DTH OPERATOR.

              LET SUN DIRECT FEEL THE HEAT WHEN CUSTOMERS TURN THEM AWAY.##

                i am a customer of sun direct DTH vide the above card no. i am facing a problem of some of the tc channels being not telecasted in my DTH connection.

                when inquired sun direct have said that they have move to a new satellite connection and hence qe r required to ask the dealers or distributors to change thd dth connection to other mode.

                when we have put the request with sun direct customer care to do the same for the last five months they have not send their technicians to do the necessary chages and henceforth every week 2 or more channels are being diconnected.

                when we have put the complaint to the dealer they also not ready to send the technicians to do the needful.

                this way we r facing a lot of problems.

                so request you to solve the problem.

                  My SUN DTH Smart Card No.[protected]. Past two months all Tamil Channels are Blocked due to Re-Allinment. I am complained to Sun DTH Customer Care so many times ( 50 Times ) . No Reply till date and also complaint to Global Sky Service he asking Rs.500/- to Rectification ( but it was free of Cost ) and his Name Mr.Joy and Phone No.[protected]. and also complaint to Asian DTH Division Mount Road, Phone No.[protected], Cell [protected] and Sun Network at Kelkattalai Phone No.43411434. No Response from All. Please take action to them and ask to refund the connection charges and other Charges. ( Rs.100000/- ) Due to Connection Charges, Phone Charges and other charges

                    Sun Direct has changed Satellite from Insat 4E to Measat 3. Now we could not see all the channels which i have paid for.

                    I had given the compliant 40 days back (August 21st -Compliant Number is [protected]) to Disk REALIGNMENT due to sun direct satellite change..

                    Every day when i call sun direct customer care they are saying that issue will be resolved in 2 days.Still No action has been taken.

                    Dealer (G K Distributers,bangalore) also not responding properly.I had given the complient on Nov 9th to dealer(Compliant Number:1445)...mm..hum..Total waste..

                    After long trying i got a mobile number from dealer.When i called the person.He said that he is not responsible to my area .And said that he will tell to another person LOKESH. But no one called me and rectified this issue.

                    It is pending for 40 days.

                    Also i have received the SMS saying that my Service Request([protected]) is closed.Still i don't know with out my confirmation how they can close the SR.

                    Suggest you to don't buy SUN DIRECT. Really i never seen this kind of Service /Support any where.

                    VERY VERY WORST SERVICE PROVIDER IS SUN DIRECT

                      Hi, Sundirect has moved to new satellite and are displaying ad in the TV giving the contact number of the customer care. They are asking to contact those numbers to get a free realignment done. Unfortunaltely the customer service is so poor. Everytime we call that number (my smart card no: [protected]) they will givce you a complaint reference number and say they are forwarding the complaint to the concerned distributor and will be fixed soon. They are not able to give any timeline of what this "SOON" really means. Also the number they provide to contact the distributor keeps ringing forever but nobody cares to pick up the call. This a very horrible situation, Sundirect does not seem to care about this satellite change as THIS WILL IMPACT ONLY THE EXISTING CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE ALREADY PAID THIER INITIAL BIG SUBSCRIPTIONS AMOUNTS. FOR THE NEW CUSTOEMRS THEY WILL ANYWAY FIX THE DISH IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION SO NO IMPACT TO HUGE REVENUE AMOUNT IN THE FORM OF INITIAL SUBSCRIPTIONS.SO, ONLY THE EXISTING CUSTOMERS ARE THE BAKRAS. I have called the customer care so many times and each time get a really beautiful refereence number. THERE IS NO POINT DISPLAYING PROMOTIONAL ADS IN THE TV SAYING THE CUSTOMER DOUBTS HIS EARING POWER BECAUSE THE SUNDIRECT FACILITY IS AVAILABLE AT 890 RUPEES. NOW THE SUNDIRECT SEEMS TO HAVE GONE REALLY DEAF (NOT JUST IN THE PROMOTIONAL ADS) AND NOT ABLE TO HEAR TO THIER CUSTOMERS WOES TAKE APPROPIRATE ACTION ON THE NONPERFORMING DISTRIBUTORS. SUNDIRECT MANAGEMENT, WAKE UP FROM YOUR SLEEP!! PLEASE CONSIDER CHANGING YOUR PROMOTIONAL AD IN THE TV, IT IS REFLECTING YOUR CURRENT DEAF SITUATION.

                      SUN DIRECT DISH. — POOR RESPONCE

                      we parchaged one sun direct on 20-12-08 at RAIGARH( CHATISGARH). name of the delear is mr.tiwari.we payed rs 1999/- & 300/- for telugu pack. still you are not logon the system our set up box also have some problems. it is shoeing standbylight(red) & card on light(green) no any other signals is avaliable.still we are not get any responce from you comapny .I hope it is my bad luck to purchage it inisted of any other direct DTH'S i purchaged due to i also belongs to south side only this thing forced me to purchage.but the responce from the delear& distbuator is not in positive sign. pl look this mater as urgent, if your not responsinding positively .i have to go in other way to solve the problem.details as followes.                       Sun Direct — dish realignment and not getting 80% of channels

                      Hi,

                      I have been calling the sun direct customer care regarding not getting all the channels. Each time the customer care executive tells me that it will be resolved in 24 hours; however, this is not the case. Their service is pathetic.

                      There is no value for Customers. I think they need to learn basics of Management which says "Customer is the bread and butter for anything".
                      I dont suggest Sun Direct to any of my frenz..
                      believe me!! Why to invest money in something worst..
                      After contacting these Customer care guys, I directly went and contacted a dealer in Coimbatore.

                      Believe, he really ill treated me..I was made to call him every day for one month. Then I went to his office and waited there for him for about 2 hours..took him with me on my bike and got the things aligned.

                      Now, All radio channels are missing. Some of the old channels are missing after realignment.

                      I am frustrated with this. Feels like, I have sold my product to Sun Direct and run behind them to get the things to get it serviced by me!

                      Sun Direct — dish alignment

                      Dear Sir,
                      I am facing the problem with sun direct for the last one month i am not getting proper chanels in TV due to dish realignment ( satillite Problem). In that channels it is showing that your have contact the nearest distributor / you may call to the sundirect call center for dish realignement it is free of cost. I had registered the complaint on 10/11/2010. On that day on wards i had registered many times, but there is no respose from them. It is about complete one month after 08/12/2010. I have to recharge again for getting the channels if the dish is realigned. I dont hope it is solved with in this period. I have taken the local distributor Mobile No also from the sundirect call center[protected] and i contacted ([protected]) him he saying that we will do the realignemnt but you have to pay the charge other wise we wont do it and the same information is passed to the sun direct call center and they have register the complaint (Id No : 1 [protected]). But till now i dont get the response from anybody. After that i had registered the complaint 4 times in the sundirect call center[protected] which is specially for dish realignement but also that is of no use. my amout and time is wasted in doing the complaint registration and i am suffering from last one month. some of the complaint reference nos are giving below.

                      very worst service. sundirect almost from one month they are troublling they had changed the satellite and asking to pay 250rs for reallignment.

                      I have been calling up the sun direct customer care since Oct’10 for re-alignment of the dish, but till date none of the company technician has turn-up yet. The mail to the nodal officer (as available in their web site), is yet to be answered.
                      Every time, you call up the customer care they just reply stating that the technician would be visiting my home very soon. Sometime, I really wonder how long would the word soon can be? I had also, approached a dealer in new panvel, who said the re-alignment would cost me Rs.250, and whereas the company display / customer care executive stated that the service is free.
                      For last 15days, there is service / telecast, it is a complete black-out.
                      I use to believe that, in the service industries customer is very important for the industry to survive, but the attitude shown by Sun Direct official contradict my belief. This is one of the most pathetic services the industry can have.
                      I would like to seek your help in getting the issue sorted out & spreading this information, so that some innocent customer can be saved.

                      I am also having same type of experience when for realignment massages came by last year Oct. 2010 on TV screen I made thousands call to customer care but I am feeling sorry to say that still I am not finding any solution for this and there is no any response from either the company side or from distributor side. In-fact no body is bothering about the customer in this company and even customer care executives also talking like that customers are on their mercy.

                      I was socked when I gave the complaint no which I booked some time before they deleted without solution and there is no any tress about the complaint and when I asked to customer care executive to book the complaint then he told that he has to consult with his boss and then he can book the complaint even.My balance was Rs.- 850/- when last time by Feb. 2011 I talk with the executive and they have deducted all money without even connection.

                      This company is giving false commitment to the customer on advertisement on TV but on reality its very PATHETIC. I will suggest to all the persons who are interested to purchase the DTH pls don't even think about the SUN DIRECT.

                      worst service i have seen i have complained at least 5 times since last Feb 2011, no response till now
                      Please think and validate before going for sundirect subscription, Once you paid the money and taken the subscription, deal is done. If you face any technical issue after that, they dont care to fix it. Their business model is very well designed to cheat the customers. If you call sundirect customer care, they will say they will forward your request to the local dealer. Sundirect does not have any control over the local dealers, so they can not instruct for issue resolution. The local dealers never care to give attention to repairs and are only interested in new installations. So finally you will have to catch a local technician (who will do the installation for all providers like airtel, sundirect, big tv and so on) by yourself and pay him huge money to get the issue resolved. I have been calling them for nearly 1 week ([protected]), every time the customer care rep says that the issue will be resolved in 24 to 48 hours and the request has been forwarded to the local distributor. He gives me the local distributor number which will keep ringing for ever but never attended. So I approached a local store who sells the sundirect connections and asked him if he can arrange for a technician. So yesterday (5-Jan) a technician (who supposedly does Airtel installations I think) came and did some check ups. He said that there is some issue with some receive in the dish antenna and need to change it. So he royally charged me 150 for the spare part and 300 for the service. After he left, it worked for an hour and then again the problem started, I get only 3 to 4 channels and for the rest of the channels I get error message "No Signal". Dont know when this will be solved again. Since today morning I have been calling the technician but he keeps on saying "I am coming". This is absolute carelessness on part of sundirect towards their consumers

                        Most of the channels have been moved to new Satellite and they are not providing the service to update it...They are offering free service to update it , but no responce from customer care or distributor...
                        I made about 50 calls to the customer care and distributor.....Distributor is telling he cannot do that...Costomer centre is telling they have forwarded the complaint..But no service from anybody from past one month......

                        the customer care centre should take care of customer queries but here in sun direct the customer is caring for the company it is other way round it is disgraceful and kindly restore FM Broadcast immediately which is pending since 6 years.

                          Sun Direct DTH Services — no signal from last three days

                          sir i want to lodge a complaint for sun direct. its been three days sun direct network is not coming and i am trying to call on there customer number but that is also not reachable. what should i do i reacently recharged the sun direct.........
                          Service is very poor, Audio is not coming, signal breakdown, how many days it will take for proper service ? only reason SUN DTH people are saying is satelite is not working ..but how many days it will take...very poor service from SUN...if this is the case for next few days..i will swith to other DTH service...

                                I had a SUN direct connection from Jun 2010

                                The dish was realigned on 16 Nov by their technicians , the same day I added five add on channels(HBO,Start Movies, Pogo, Cartoon NW, History). Since then i was unable to watch the channels. There is no clarity at all for these channels. I launched complain several times in[protected], they have given 48 hrs, 48hr 24, hr and so on, but NOTHING REALLY HAPPENED.


                                Now I do not know what to do and where and whom to contact EVEN FOR A DISCONNECTION.

                                I have some balance in my account also. I don't mid loosing the balance money.

                                Finally

                                I have planned to SURRENDER THE CONNECTION.


                                MY ADVISE TO ALL IS NOT TO GO FOR SUN DIRECT CONNECTION.
                                They will advertise great things but you have some problems they YOU HAD IT.

                                I have been using SUNDIRECT since last year and Since the beginning I m really frustrated with the services, I bought some add on channels during the world cup FOOTBALL but there was some problem ib SATELITE and tilll now that problem is not sorted out.

                                I m tired up now following with the customer care/ technician and finally with the distribur.
                                but nothing has happend.
                                I m ready to give my set up box free of cost to anyone who wants to buy this problem.

                                THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE,
                                I REQUEST SOME ONE TO HELP ME TO LODGE MY COMPLAIN TO CONSUMER COURT.

                                AND PLZ CIRCULTE THIS MESSAGE AS MANY AS U CAN SO THAT THE OTHER PEOPLE WONT FACE THIS KIND OF FURSTRATION.

                                      i ve logged a complaint to sun direct sayin dish allignment. they told they ll do free of cost. and later they came after 2 months after logging the complaint... after alligning they charged me... i request someone to take very serious action against them.... people never go for SUN DIRECT... theirs is the worst service.. ull repent i[censored] go to them.....

                                      i absolutely agree to the post.. this problem is being faced by us since last 4months.. the technicians seem to be least bothered ..its my strong suggestion to not use this service...
                                      My DTH service was lost on 29th October

                                      After making complaint to the Customer Care, it was restored for 2 hours then I lost again.

                                      Again I contacted the customer care on 31.10.11, the booked complaint and asked me to wait for 48 hours, then 24 hours and then 24 hours, and the complaint was automatically closed, without making any service.

                                      Then again a complaint, nothing happened, after 8 days, a rowdy came to home to threaten not to complaint again, and if I need service I should go for a new connection.

                                      This is Sun Direct. I have all the details of the complaint number, and telephone numbers of the persons who had contacted me, and I wrote a mail to sun direct customer care, and they to insisted me to buy a new connection, and never talked about servicing the existing connection
