I was getting all the channels including hd as part of the plan "hd tamil ultra super value pack" valid until 26th may 2019. All of a sudden sun direct has changed the plan to "hd tamil basic dpo2 subscription for 6 months" valid until 05th july 2019

I have been trying their call centre but its not going at all. This is a very badly executed migration which affects me as well as million others. Now i am not at all able to see many channels which was of my interest

Can someone tell me how to contact them and get it rectified?

    Hi,
    This is siva, with contains smart card number [protected].
    Tried calling customer care about etv hd channels missing in my list, however i have paid 29 rupees for all the channels.
    Your customer people not able to answer the questions which i asked and taking worst wards with other customer service people like (Chikka chikka ga mataladuthundau).
    My question is do you think customers are fool's or what charging huge amount and not responding the queries.

      I have a subscription pack: indi subscription monthly renewal which is expiring on 30 march 2019
      But all the channels are closed with a message your subscription has expired plz call our call centre to activate.
      Am not able to connect with customer care. I have a balance of 682.73, but when i am going to choose package its says you have insufficient balance
      And today again they reduce my balance form 682.73 to 304.43
      How can they do this. I have sent a mail to sundirect but received no any response
      Kindly resolve our issues

I tried calling 3 to 4 times and when i am asking about the same question they are cutting their call with out answering question.
        My question is do you think we are fools or what.
        If you guys are not ale to answer the questions tell them to transfer the call to other person with out doing that they think customer will call again.

          Unfortunate sun direct has stopped most of the channels i have subscribed
          Iam trying to call them from past 15 days there is no response in their helpline
          Their local agents are saying that i need to pay rs 175 for activation

            I have recharged for 500 and thought the existing pack will be activated but they told as per new trai rules old plans are changed and new plan has to be selected. When i try to connect the customer care lines are not connecting. The customer care service is very very poor.

            I would like to use the money in my account and activate new plan.

              I am a subsciber of sun direct from10/03/2010... Sundirect service is worst... They charge foe setup box, but don't give reciept. For their telecast problem, they collect the service charge..
              Now with new trai rules, they are exploiting subscribers.. I paid annual subscription up to20/10/2009//i want to stop un necessary channels. But their help lines don't respond.[protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] they gave nos. Noe they changed my package with out intimating me... Charging rs.30/month extra... And reduced my validity period by 6weeks... They are not giving ous selected channels, forcing us to accept their choice... Among these 80 channals are not our choice... It is a violation of trai regulation... So many innocent subscribers are charged extra, with poor service

                  Took sun direct dth recently. Recharge 2 times in this month. Complaining about channel pack activations and no support from customer carenot activated but balance shows in account. Also there is 0 support from customer care. No one pick up a call to their customer care number. Sun direct service seems to be very poor and pathetic. They are very unprofessional. And no respect for the customers.

                    My smart card no: [protected]. Very bad customer care. I am calling customer care from friday 8th march 2019. No response. No response from nodal officers also. I get one response from online chat from the sun direct site. They have taken my smart card no and said me it will be solved within 3 hrs. After that 14 hrs has been passed no connection. Even customer care, online chat nothing is working. If this is the case happen every time i will do a facebook campaign against it.

                        My Sundirect smart card number is[protected].
                        I paid for one year (Telugu super value pack) and contacting them since Jan 19 to allow me to selet the pack as per new TRAI regulation. They told me that same will continue till Dec 19. But, suddenly they changed my pack for 6 months (Telugu DPO3) without my interest. In that my regular watched channels are not there. They are not resounding to my calls or mails. In my final mail I asked them to change it to one month and return my balance amount to my account so that I can select the plan I required. But no Response. their Help line is inactive [protected]

                          SUN DTH provides wonderful fast and responsive customer service prior to Jan 2019, because of that I didn't opt for any other DTH provider.

                          This is the first time I didn't get any reply from them and my problem is not yet resolved.

                          I Paid one year Tamil Mega Pack in SUN DTH and now they changed my package plan to "Tamil DPO 3 Package Basic Subscription 6 Months Renewal" without giving proper information to the customer which is against TRAI rule.

                          MY SUBSCRIPTION ID: [protected]

                          My sun DTH some of the channels are not displaying which is already working. have two SUn DTH SIM card but the problem happens for the above Subscription ID.

                          1) Jaya TV
                          2) Jaya Max
                          3) Flix
                          4) Travel XP Tamil
                          5) etc... ( 15 +) channels are not working.

                          All the above list of channels are working fine till March 05, 2019 but now it shows the channel subscriptions are expired even though I have valid subscription till July 2019. Please note that I have opted Mega Tamil Pack and the validity expires only on July 19, 2019.

                          My question is

                          A) Why the above channel is not working? still, I have valid subscription till July 19, 2019, for all of the above-said channels.

                          B) No customer care number is not at all working. I have tried all your customer care number either the number is not reachable or no one is picking up. the call.

                          Tried to contact sun dth customer care via phone/chat/email/facebook/twitter and Tamilnadu nodal officer via email chain.

                          nothing works.

                          please understand whatever you are doing is against TRAI regulation

                          AS PER TRAI REGULATION - F. No.21-4/2018-B&CS

                          "(3) Nothing contained in these regulations shall affect any packs, plans or bouquets on offer before the
                          commencement of these regulations and all the distributors of television channels shall continue to offer the said
                          packs, plans or bouquets to all the subscribers till 31st January 2019.
                          Provided that it shall be mandatory for all the distributors of television channels to either discontinue or
                          modify all their existing packs, plans or bouquets in compliance with the provisions of these regulations after
                          31st January 2019.
                          Provided further that all distributors of television channels shall offer and obtain the option for
                          subscription of new packs, plans or bouquets from the subscribers in compliance with the provisions of these
                          regulations on or before 31st January 2019 and shall ensure that services to the subscribers are provided as per
                          the new packs, plans or bouquets opted for subscription by the subscribers only after 31st January 2019.”

                          HOPE YOU WILL RESOLVE MY PROBLEM AT THE EARLIEST OR AT LEAST YOU COULD RESPOND / REPLY TO ME.

                            We have paid 6 months subscription for hd tamil mega pack earlier which is valid till may'19. Suddenly we could not get many channel we have piad for. Now without our concern they changed to some package. Trying to reach by call centre, chat, e-mail and you can't reach them and no response. I am looking for someone to change suitable package currently to our choice. Surprised nobody bothers. No reply even to e-mail to sun direct

                                I called sun direct customer care many times. But no one answers the call. My tv is not working. So, i called customer care to enquire. I don't know what to do. Really fed up. How can a customer care service be so bad and irresponsible. My set top box number is [protected].

                                  24th january 2019, recharged roi pack with rs 850/- for 3 months. Again they recharge telugu value plus pack on 25th january 2019. Who gave this rights to change the plan. From 6th march 2019, no channels are coming. All of them were disconnected. It means for the period of 24th january 2019 to 6th march 2019, they charged rs 850/- for this short duration. When i asked customer care, they told that from 1st feb 2019, trai rules and regulations have changed. So, we have to pay again for renew the channel by paying the amount again.

                                  If rules were changed from 1st feb, then they have to charge a particular amount from 24th january to 1st february from rs 850/-.

                                  And balance amount they have to credit again in our sun direct account. Without doing that, one side sun direct charged rs 850/- for 3 months. And within 45 days, they disconnect our channels and digested our amount too.

                                  It means they charged rs 850/- for 45 days. Vch is not correct.
                                  In roi pack, we can see all hindi, telugu channels and business news channels etc.

                                  Just we want that they can continue the subscription which we paid for.

                                    Sir,

                                    I am having a sun direct connection taken last year with 100% advance payment for 12 months. I got the connection enabled on 29.3.2018 and the validity expires only on 28.3.2019. The pack chosen was full hd pack.

                                    They had automatically migrated my package without my consent (Message received shows that - as advised by trai) and they had put me in to the basic pack after removing all the hd channels and my subsciption ends on 16.3.2018 as mentioned in the message, i contacted their call center and received a complaint number cw[protected]. But after 20 minutes, i received a message that the complaint was closed on my satisfaction. They had not done any thing and closed the complaint. Contacted many times and every time they said that it is as per trai.

                                      I have recharged my dth with 6 months plan around 12th nov
                                      My 6 months plan has been migrated to some other plan (Without informing and taking my concern) and my validity has reduced because of that.
                                      I want my money back in pro database, so that i will select my required channels. Now i don't want all these channels.
                                      Or
                                      If you are going to provide the same number of channels i want my actual 6 months validity.

                                      I called up sundirect in january regarding the trai new rules but the customer care clearly mentioned that the plan is not going to change till the validity after that i have to choose my own list of channels, but now with out any information they have subscribed all the channels in the previous plan and changed the validity.

                                      I have called them today (08mar) as well, they are telling they can't change the plan now as it has already been activated.

                                        Both the toll-free customer care numbers[protected],[protected] and the 24 x 7 customer care number[protected] are non-functional and do not know where to turn for help.
