Dear sir,
I had given a complaint that set top box has some problem.Complaint no SR[protected] for E 06-SMC Failure has been registered with Sun direct.24x7.
Complaint was registered on 25 -7-18 and after two days one of the service sms received that technician will be visiting our house.after third day technician gave a miss call then I recalled for such a delay in attending the service . Then he did not return back to rectify the problem instead my service complaint was closed as attended.is there not any consumer forum for such an odd behaviour of service provider if their kindly notify so that they will be dragen to court for their inefficient service and the mental agony we are facing for deficient service.

After one month this people has stated that is resolved.how it is resolved or how many days customer faced problems are not known to them.Nowadays such a huge competition this people are lacking back for resolving simple problem in SOLVING customer complaints.For your best of knowledge i once again remind you that your technician had not visited for solving this, i need to fetch some local technician for resolution and he did that.Thanks for your esteemed efforts for getting resolution by simply calling customer and problem is sought out or not and refer the same as "problem solved".

    This is the third time sun direct increases the payment. Initially it was 259 after 2 months it changed to 269 now its 280. Customer doesn't give any intimation regarding the increment. When we try to make the payment with the last paid amount then also we got the information that the amount is increased. Also didn't give any information regarding the purpose of increment or what are the additional features provided by them.

      I am an user of sun direct from past 18 months. Form the inception the service of the provider is less than worst. Recently i have done my recharge for 3 months. From then the problem is raised again. Called to customer care as usual irresponsive answer. Called local distributor, charged amount and the same problem repeating from 2 days. Customer care busy distributor not picking the phone. Very very worst service providing by the sun direct. I will not suggest to any body to go for this. Very bad and arrogant customer care support.

        This is thallam raja i am working at dhanlaxmi bank, recently i got transferred from rajampet to tirupathi i have taken new sun director connection on 13.06.2018 at tirumala enterprises, rc road,. Tirupathi, the dealer has given old connection instead of new connection, which was there in some other name activated on 2015 and not in with my name this entair activity has run through phone only, i didn't visit his office i didn't take invoice, now asking invoice, he told that you didn't take connection with me, dealer number [protected] and dealer sent technician number [protected].
        They cheated me and they done fraud.
        Request you to kindly help on the same arrange this connection with my name or new connection with my name.
        Please help on the same.

        Sun direct company not yet resolve my issue as of now They called from their call center on 25/07/2018 and 30/07/2018 after so many reminders, Even they didn't get work from their distributor for my issue and they can't take any action against distributor, So request you to kindly help on the same . please please please

          Good morning,

          From 19 th of july 2018, there is no channel streaming on my sundirect dth connection, because of ota upgrade, which is pathetic and dth keep on restarts itself continuously. I have recorded the video for the reference. I have repeatedly contacted customer care for resolution, however nill response from them. Yesterday i could manage to appoint a technician to resolve the solution with the help of customer care.
          Very poor service from sundirect dth, customer service is very bad and they are not responsible for the service they are providing.
          Since, i have lost four days of sun direct dth service, for which i should be reimbursed.
          If dth services do not resume today i. E., sunday july 22, 2018, i want my money back and take your set top box with you.

            Dear Consumer Forum Team,

            I have been with Sundirect DTH since 2009, I recently upgraded my TV to a HD LED TV. When I reached out to Sundirect Customer service team requesting for a HD set up Box upgrade . I was asked to pay INR 699 plus INR150 technician charges . When I asked for the reason associate said u will hv to pay for HD setup box upgrade. When I asked for Supervisor call transfer request was declined stating there is no supervisor.

            When I asked for Supervisor escalation sternly call was transferred n the supervisor also said u will hv to pay. when I explained I hv been with Sundirect since 2009 n Sundirect shouldn't be charging me for a HD set up upgrade he said you will have to pay. When I said I will escalate it further associate read call closing script n was not willing to discuss further.

            Since 2009 I would hv paid INR 200000 plus approximately towards subscription fees, Post HD upgrade I would continue with HD subscription which can cover up the HD set up Box cost. Doesn't make logical since asking for me to pay for the box upgrade plus technician charges.

            Extremely poor service.

            Last month they are charging Rs.169 for economy malayalam pack but this month it is Rs.180.I already recharge with Rs.169 and request them to activate the pack, that time they said rate had changed.Every month they are increasing the amount. So Kindly refund the amount ASAP

              I am using sun direct since 4-5 years, every month i will be doing 310 rs of recharge, even today also i have done the same amount 310/- rs but my card was not activated when i called customer care 22 times they are not ready to solve my problem and cant transfer my call to there higher authority or to manager they simple say go and contact Chennai it seem.when i have purchased you sun direct connection they not said me to go to Chennai to purchase it and in case ill face any problem they not said me to go Chennai to just say go to Chennai you kept customer support in Hyderabad. i was calling from 8:50pm 16-july 2018 to speak with there higher authority even there is no TL it seem they cant transfer they call to they TL or GL or to they Superior to solve the issue .while increasing your pack value to whom you have updating??? after doing recharge customer need to call to customer care and need to beg you about information they don't have minimum sense to intimate customer that pack value has been changed .you system is on time to disconnect the channels pack before 6 hours of activation but not to update the changes of pack vales.If you want to give better service keep TL's and GL's available in absences of manager or floor in charge or superior.

                I had recharge on 13.06.2018 on sun direct official site. & my customer id. is [protected]. but i didn't get the recharge but Rs. 309 /- has been deducted from my bank account after i call customer care they said it has been refunded. So i will recharge on my pay tm account. still i didn't get my money or recharge. and i will gave my recharge transaction id also. now it been more than a month.

                  As Iam not viewing my sundirect Since 400+ days (approx more than 1 year), iam eligible for CHARAN OFFER TELUGU VALUE PACK of Rs. 678 for 5 months.

                  when i try to recharge through sundirect website it was showing me Amounts 169, 507, 1014, 2028. so iam not able to enter Amount 678 to recharge.

                  Then i called customer care then they said me to "recharge half amount of 507 first and then do recharge Amount 169 secondly" and intimated me to call back Customer care after recharge to activate the CHARAN OFFER TELUGU VALUE PACK plan.

                  As the customer care said i have done recharge of 507 first and then 167 second. Now my total Balance 507 + 169 + 3(previous balance) = 679 is total balance Amount my account holds.

                  Automatically Telugu Economic Pack has been activated instead of CHARAN OFFER TELUGU VALUE PACK.

                  As they said i called back customer care but not changed the plan, so i raised a complaint with complaint number SR[protected]. PLEASE resolve this issue, i need Proper Justice and ACTIVATE CHARAN OFFER TELUGU VALUE PACK OF 678 FOR 5 MONTHS.

                      My sim card number :[protected], Signal problem and dish tv not working from last 2 days due to last day very very small 1hour rain, customer care numbers [protected], [protected], [protected] and telangana number [protected], no one is responding, after entering the sim card number automatically the call has disconnecting, worst customer support services from sundirect, i have never seen these kind of customer support for any other products, due to very small rains, signal problem is raising, from last 2 days no signal is there due 1 hour small rain in last day. This is very very bad services from sundirect, and we are living in Hyderabad city central, not in villages to raise the signal problem.No one is responding when i am trying to report, all customer care centers for asking our sim number and disconnecting the call automatically, i send a mail to customer care no response, i send a message in live chat, no one is responding, such a worst support from sundirect team.

                        I avnm apparao made a complaint reg non availability of signal on 19 june 2018. After two days technician called to tel he woul come on next day. On 26 th morning helpdisc people called me and stated my problem resolved.

                          It's very irritating in the case if signals... If we give any compliant to customer care they are ready to take compliant... But it's not useful... If we go to service center they will do little work of 5 minutes and take money... Or they will say simply to take another card and setup box which is costlier... Worst signalling service I hav ever seen

                          Today(25/06/2018) I had a issue with my sun direct smart card recharge and then I have to call customer care to assist, leave about help in the issue, customer care executive was so rude and was warning and shouting at me with disrespect, when I asked him about more clarity on the issue. Is this how Customer be treated?

                            I used to watch hd channels earlier in 2016. But i have changed to sd channels for some reason. Now again i want to upgrade to hd channels. But you customer care executives says its mandatory to change my set top box by paying 699rs + visiting charges, otherwise i will not get hd channels.

                            I did not understand this at all as i was able to get hd channels then its not possible again. Is this some kind of cheating customers?

                              I have done an annual recharge for my Sun DTH connection and after 15 days i stopped receiving signals. Tried all possible ways to get in touch with you

                              1. Contacted your regional service center in Indore at [protected]
                              2. Contacted Chennai head office
                              3. Sent an email to customer care
                              4. Sent an email to the MD as well

                              Set top box is not working since last two days. There is no electric connection available in the set off box. Only red line showing and thereafter immediately dis-appearing. If HD set off boxes are available for change of existing set top box kindly inform the cost for the same. Please provide nearest consumer cadre number.

                                I had changed the base plan to malayalam cinema plus sports pack on march 16 2018 & paid rs.728 for 3 months. But i found the plan got expired within 2 months. So you need to refund for 1 months. I have to recharge again on may 16 2018 to continue your services. This is what i am writing to sun direct for past 3 weeks, but they are refusing to refund. So i have to write to concerned authorities about the cheating ythey are doing through their website.

                                Pls insist that sun dth change their website, which presently cheat the customers with wrong information & making the customers to pay for wrong package, but sun dth do not change the package in the back end & overcharging the customers without their knowledge. This is criminal cheating.

                                    While reacharging on my sundirect dth number ([protected]) an amount of 169 is credited from my account. The amount is credited but the reacharge of dth is failed. The possible case is done at 14-may - 2018. So when i call at customer care they told me to send my bank details to the above gmail id.. Please transfer the amount as soon as possible

                                      In the sun direct office we bought new setup box the original rate of the setup box is 350 and we subscribe for tamil value pack of rupees 300 for 3 months. We had changed the lmp in the dish it cost of rupees 150. Their service charge is 350 rupees. The total amount is only 1150 but they have bought 1500. They also asked 50 rupees for remote.. Lwe want the remaining amount 400 rupees.

                                      It's a worst service and the customer care persons interaction with customers in a bad manner ...even they don't have knowledge about their services and products... Distributors telling price and service executives telling price for a product is different... Bakwas for any reason
                                      Recharge done through Sundirect mobile application, an amount if RS. 270 had been deducted from account, but activation not successful,

                                        From[protected] onwards, set top box started giving a message of ota upgradation and will restart automatically. Its been 4 days now neither it is getting upgraded nor working fine. Until the mentioned date it was running smooth and fine. When i contacted customer care they assigned a technician. Technician is now saying that the set-top box is not getting upgraded and said to purchase another set top box on a cost of rs. 700/-. When i inquired with the technician i got to know that the same ota upgradation is successfully done in some other set-top boxes and working fine. And the saddest part is technician said the he is not going to give any service report/device inspection report like what is the problem in device, whether it is resolvable or not, if it needs to be replaced with new what is the cause for such replacement. And he also confirmed that there is no such policy from sun direct
                                        Now confirm me why should i pay rs.700/- for another set-top box where there no mistake of mine
                                        1. Because of the ota push form the backend the technical error occured and now the box is not working
                                        1. I have not asked for any upgradation on my existing set-top box
                                        2. There is no intimation regarding ota upgradation and no one asked me whether upgradation required or not

                                        Without my intimation without my knowledge sun direct company has thrown some ota upgrdation to the set-top box due to which the set-top box is not working now and asking me to purchase another set-top box.

                                        It has been an year since the below complaint raised by me, and the issue again started exactly after an year. Set Top Box (smart card number: [protected]; box model: K[protected] ) started giving a message of OTA upgradation and will restart automatically. every 10 sec the software updation massage appears on screen and for another 10 minutes updation will run and after 10 sec again the massage o[censored]pdation will appear. Its been 10 days now neither it is getting upgraded nor working fine.

                                        When the same issue faced by us last year (can find the complaint details in the trailing mail), software updation was stopped after the complaint and there was no issue and STB is working fine till this month. And now the same issue started again as mentioned above. When we contacted the Customer Care service on [protected] and Local Technician, getting the same old answer cum resolution by them that "Please Purchase another Set Top Box @Rs.499/- and Technician charges of Rs.150/-"
                                        Kindly confirm us the "Customer Mistake" to pay these additional charges as we have not requested for any software updation from my end.

                                        Now confirm me why should I pay Rs.650/- for another set-top box where there is no mistake of mine
                                        1. Because of the OTA push form the backend the technical error occured and now the box is not working untill then which was working fine
                                        2. I have not asked for any upgradation on my existing set-top box
                                        3. There is no intimation regarding OTA upgradation and no one asked me whether upgradation required or not

                                        Without my intimation without my knowledge sun direct company has pushed some OTA upgrdation to the set-top box due to which the set-top box is not working now and asking me to purchase another set-top box.
