First called to customer care the person Gopi, He was given ther infermatoin about the pack of chrn pack 678. yes iam tolled him to this pack was not activated on my customer ID NO is [protected]. Then he was suggested me to recharge the total amount of 678 in divisible amounts example 150, 180, 200, 300, 450, 500, 540 etc.
He said that all these amount of 678 convert to your pack. and also said that after your recharge you call to customer care.
Then i would recharge 180+498=678 and called customer care.
received Kishore from chennai and he said that in this way the package was not activated in ypur ID nomber.I sadi that person GOPI was said to recharge in this way. Then KISHORE argue and quirrel with me. and he was not forward the call to higher officials.
He was not given the information in proper way and also said that you can give the complaint on Complaint.

    I have registered a complain stating black screen (Sr[protected] engineer named mr gajendrian has visited and informed that it's old setup box needs upgrade and he would change it by evening or next day morning. When i called the engineer he seems to be in rude approach and he was so happy to go for other company dth, it makes me wonder his he really an employee of sun direct?. Please let me know if you guys can resolve...

      error code e50-32 no service

      Dear sir/madam i had seen my error code as e50-32 no service. But i had contacted our customer care then also iam facing this problem i have done all technical works like re installation. Smc opened and cleaned then re installation and factory reset. Then also iam facing this problem

        Yesterday Sun Direct started showing 'No service' I requested for a service, a person has come and sorted out the issue and charged 150/-.
        Today again it started showing 'No service available', I called customer care and told them the same, for which thry answered, call the same guy who has come yesterday, he will sort out the issue, I did the same and the guy rejected to come.
        Messed up with Sun direct service.

          I am using sun direct hd box and due to lag off time for watching tv i have used only sd channel and now because of interest on hd channels i am trying to recharge for hd pack, but not able to view. (Its not playing).
          Just i made a call to customer care and they replied that the hd box version has been changed.

          Without any proper information and even advertisement they have changed the version and now asking to pay 600+150 for replacement.

          They providing information that they have replaced the box at free of cost for few customers only by showing partiality.

          Is it way of replacement, what have to be done. Should replace all the hd box for who are all purchased. It looks like a robbery.

          If they updated for another version, then is we need to pay again?

          Then why i have to buy hd box? Please help!

          Hi, I am trying to call the customer care number since one week. Its not friendly user. We has paid the amount for one month. But it was not activated. Could you please check with the user.
          I have recently recharged and now I am having issues in the picture...The channels and pictures are not clear ...kindly please provide the clear picture

            sundirect setupbox not working

            I called customer care and told setup box is not turning on.
            They told serviced box (Means repaired box they will provide) will cost will be 350, i asked to do the replacement.

            Engineer came and told that it would cost 600, box cost is 350 rs and adapter is extra that will cost 250.

            I told new box is 700rs which includes everything costs equal to repaired box.

            So i asked for new one,...

            I have exchanged sundirect sd set top box with sundirect hd set top box model hs7530 digital satellite receiver i started watching hd channels at brahmapur orissa
            When i shifted my house to balugaon orissa i reinstalled it now i could not able to watch any hd channels. When i complained about the matter with sundirect regional executive he saying urs sd set top box needs to replaced with hd set top box. And sundirect website not allowing...

            I have upgraded my SD box to HD for 900rs. During the time of purchase, sales person told me that, I have 149 days of SD subscription. In order to upgrade, I have to activate 1 yr HD subscription for 3200rs ( I don’t know exact price) instead I have to pay 51 rs per month for tamil HD prime until the 149 days of existing subscription expires. I rang customer care for activation and they said it’s not possible but they can refund for unused 149 days+200( recharged value on card) + 2400 recharge will be ok for 1 yr HD subscription. After I recharged 2400 rs, I rang again to activate 1 yr HD plan. This time they told its not possible to refund subscription fee for unused 149 days. I told the conversation between me and sales person to customer care executive and they told me that they’re not responsible for dealer’s promise. I have few questions to your customer care

            1. If I have to go back to the person, who sold the product, what’s the role of customer care ? Whom I should trust ?

            2. Why customer service is being hesitant to provide written statement that customer service is not responsible for dealer sold Sun direct product?

            3. Why your customer service is inconsistent on proving information? Are you still aware of “customer has right to know information about the product before sold”?

            4. I would like to take it legally to ombudsman complaints, how can I lodge it?

            5. Why my case is closed without my acknowledgement?

            I rang your customer care and dealer, they have registered a complain. Your executive asked to wait up to 48 hours to resolve the issue by refunding 148 unused days but after 48 hours dealer rang your customer care again, another ticket raised asked them to wait another 48 hours. Today I rang again to get an update but they didn’t provide any update and asked me to wait another 48 hours. I would like to get this issue resolved today.

Again they’re telling the same that, it cannot be done. Raised another complain asking me to wait 48 hours. What’s going on? Why did you asked me recharge ?

            2. 2400 rs by customer care to activate 1 yr HD prime Tamil
            3. 350 RS for the same

            Are you trying to cheat me ? I don’t expect this from Sundirect. I would like to complain about it in ombudsman. Can you please give me the contact.

                Hi,

                While installation technician has handled the dish roughly and he compel to buy few connectors for joined but I didn't accept and I bought from out source.
                That time he left without my knowledge and came back after 11/2 hours and fixed the dish. That time picture was available, next day we switch on the TV picture came intermediately.
                We thought due to rain and wind it's happening but today morning I checked the dish that time found dish with mounting plate was broken.

                Intensely he broken and just kept the dish, that's why picture is available intermediate and now also some time picture is available.

                Due to his careless my dish wash broken, so please organise to experienced guy and fix properly, if not possible ask him to change the dish with their own cost.

                Today morning I have complaint 3 times to sun direct but till now I didn't get complaint reference number.

                Here I have enclosed few snap shots for your reference, see how is routing the cable. such a poor support i didn't see in my experience.

                I expect SUN DIRECT will organise to provide best support. If no response from SUN direct I will put cash on this and will claim expenditure amount and loss time.

                  While introducing hd set-top box, i am got the connection with hd pack. Later i changed to sd pack. Once again currently, i am activated hd package, but it seems hardware is not supporting. Then i contacted customer care, they told the old hd box are replaced with new hvec technology - so u have pay 700+150 rupees for this upgradation.

                  My question: i brought an hd connection, but i can't view hd channels. Why?
                  If sun direct upgrade their technology, for that why i need to pay once again as hd customer!

                    I have renewed the subscription for yearly, by paying rs.3600/- in cash, since they were not accepting the cheque.

                    Since the date of payment, we are getting no signal. Complaint has already been lodged vide reference sr[protected], which is yet to be attended. However, i am receiving the sms as resolved, which is rediculous.

                    Most of the channels are not to be seen. Only one channel, i. E., suntv is accessible.

                        I have taken sundirect connection via online payment..on 19th August 2018 at 2pm. The technician came for installation and installed the set top box on 20th August 2018, at 4pm. But was unable to start the connection due to absence of message from sundirect .. Without which he said it will not be possible to activate the connection.. I have raised a complaint with customer care for the same. But was unable to find a satisfactory solution with them..                           1. It is intimated that i have two sun direct set top boxes. One is the parent connection (No.[protected], hd box) and the other one is the child connection (No. [protected], sd box).

                          2. The validity of my child connection got over on 11 august 18 and hence i recharged it with the current plan (Rs 169/-). But it was unsuccessful and tried again once on 12th and once again on 13th august. But both the attempts were unsuccessful and the money got debited. Out of three unsuccessful attempts, only once the amount rs 169/- got refunded and the other two are still pending despite repeated complaints to the customer care.

                          3. Again on 14 august 18 at 1945 hrs i recharged my child connection with rs 230/- (Ref no. Onm[protected] through the sun direct app and immediately the validity of my child connection pack got updated in the account details of the app. But the channels did not get activated. Hence, i called up the customer care at 2030 hrs on the same day and i got a feedback that the connection will be activated after 2 hours. But no joy.

                          4. Therefore, on 15 august 18 in the morning i again called up customer care to inform the problem and the customer care representative wrongly got that rs 230 /- recharged against my parent connection instead of the child connection which i learnt through the validity information in the app.

                          5. Again i called the customer care at 1030 hrs and spoke to mr. Loganathan during which he assured that the billing department will call me within one hour and resolve the issue. The complaint number for the same is sr[protected] for wrong deal. But, there was no phone call from the billing department till 1230 hrs. Hecnce, i again called up the customer care and spoke to mr. Padmanaban and he assured that he will arrange for an immediate call back from the technical team to resolve the problem. However, there was no call till 1315 hrs. Then again customer care was contacted and miss maria of customer care confirmed that it will take 48 hrs to solve the issue.

                          6. It has been a very bitter and disappointing experience with sun direct and it requested that you may intervene to get the problem resolve and to ensure that such things are not repeated with any of the customers.

                            This is to bring in to your kind notice that i have started a new connection of your company yesterday at 3pm but till now it is not activated and the one who has done the settings is not at all concerned for the same. I have done the payment also, i'm not at all satisfied with your service. It has been only one day and costumer satisfaction is zero. Consider this complain and do the needful.

                            No signal for some channels like tv9, maamusic
                            We are facing signal issue from past two weeks dish is not working. We have complained three times and technician came to home two times but no use, problem remains. Technician told us that everything in the correct alignment so he doesn’t know what should do further. Today morning again I have called to understand the solution and customer care team told me to don’t complained again as many customers have the same problem it will get clear as soon as possible but they don’t know when. So please advise, if it is not irrecoverable issue by sun dish team we will find other solutions.

                              Changing the channel, screen shows empty for sometime and then shows check the cable connection with antenna, then after one minute the channel appears

                              Between the changing channel time delay to appear is prolonged.

                              News 7 tamil is not connecting

                              Display is is slow. These problems for the past one monyh only. Kindly rectify the above problems and inform me..

                                Name is madhu maram, sun direct smar card number: [protected].

                                Last year i have taken the hd south plan for 4000 for one year, recently in 19-march-2018 my one year plan was over. I went to sun direct distibuter who has given the initial connection and cleared told him i need only south plan and i don't want hd connection. He checked and sujjested please reacharge with 1908 you will get one year, i said ok and given amount and recharge done from there to till[protected] there was no issue.

                                Suddedly i got an sms on tv screen saying your plan is going to expire on[protected]. I got shock and i made a call to customer care they told clearly your existing package hd is continuing i told them they said sir when ever you want to change plan details you have to inform customer care. I really was not aware this regarding this they have rise a complaint on[protected] with out my notice they closed the complain. Today i called to customer care they said complaint closed and telling simply now we are not able to do any thing.

                                Simply with out seeing hd i didnot see any hd channel and i paid 1908 for one year i got only 3 months.

                                #i went to distributor he said sorry sir we can't do any thing?
                                #when 1908 plan for south normal why should i call to customer care for changing plan details?
                                #why the same is not conveyed distributor??
                                #when i reached why the massage not come saying recharged successfully you validity so and so date.
                                #when i logged a complaint with out my notice or resolution why they closed the call??
                                #who will bear the money??
                                # with out using why should i pay the amount..

                                Please justify and think in my place when distributor said recharge with 1908 for one year again why should we call for changing plan. I thought it by recharge amount only it will get change and the distributor aslo not conveyed call to customer care he said it will done. Its done and working then why should i check now got a problem called to customer care.

Tried calling their number[protected] but no one responds. Sent a feedback, but there is no reply. Need the money back or activate the subscription.
