We are not using any sun direct dish.. But this idiotic customer care people calling our number and irritating us.. If we inform we are not using and we have not bought it our life time.. Then also asking to give us product number. Customers care guys name is madesh use very harsh words.. N we got message to get recharge the same.. Account number is [protected]... Plz stop itritating us

    They have gvn info about recharge amount starting from 50' 100' 200 etc. Nowhere it is mentioned that customer wont get the whole amount. I rechrged with 200 and got only 176, when called they informed me that rest is gst, this is nothing bt making fool of people. Or else they would have mentioned the value we actualy gets. If you recharge a mobile they normaly mention howmuch we will get. Earlier it was not there, just making trouble. Now monthly amount is 209 and they dont have facility to recharge of 20, again i have to do for 50.

      Through this, i wish to raise that the sun direct is misleading and cheating its customers thru its online portal.

      It happened to me when i recharged my account on 17 july, 2017. I was watching malayalam super value pack previously and i wished to change the same as i was not watching all channels. On 17th july, i opted for malayalam value pack for rs. 578 for 3 months subscription. On clicking the select option, i was directed toward the payment getaway and made my payment.

      But, instead of activating malayalam value pack, malayalam super value was activated and after 2 months i started getting messages that my subscription has expired. When i called the customer care, they informed me that for changing packs, i was supposed to call and inform the customer care...

      Now, the customer care executive has told me to recharge again to avoid disconnection

      My question is this;

      1. Why customer was not informed in advance on how to change the pack? There was no message or mails
      2. Why this message was not displayed on your website while i was changing the packs??
      3. Why should i pay for 3 months and avail the benefits for 2 months

      Sorry to say that this is total harassment and cheating your customers, where there is not clarity about the products which you offer

        From my accnt on 25/04/2017 i recharged my sun direct dish [protected] via net banking for rs 155. But not activated. I contacted my bank branch they said cash was creditted merchants accnt. I contacted several times sun direct cu care by phone, they said no such amount creditted for recharging dish. My request after 5 month is refunding my cash 155.

              I recharged my sundirect connection in the month of april by selecting a plan which was different from the current plan at that point of time. But the new plan did not get activated. Instead the old plan was renewed. I dint know this till my connection expired a couple of days ago. The customer care people of saying that i should have called them and said them that i have selected a new plan which is different from the current plan after i do a recharge online. But it was not intimated anywhere in their website. If i have to call them and intimate about the new plan, why do they have an option to choose the plan online. And i have been following it up with them for the past three days and they gave no solution.

                  I have charged my connection id no.[protected] on 1-9-2017 by mobiwik rs.159/- but the connection is not restored. Please restore the connection quickly. Your customer care nos are3 not working at all. As you know this is onem festival season. There will be too many good programmes in the tv. This time sun direct spoiled my entertainment chance. So please take this matter seriously.

                    The worst customer service i every had in my entire life.
                    I am still keen to know if[protected] really belongs to sun direct.

                    My smart card number - [protected]

                    I rang the so called customer care at 05:25 pm asking for a re installation. The agent (Swamy) with whom i spoke to was so rude on call that i hardly understood him.

                    I asked him to escalate the call to his manager which he denied saying the manager is in the meeting. He asked me to call tomorrow as the manager is not free today.

                    I want to know why i should call tomorrow. Don't i have any other work rather than speaking to such meaningless associates again.

                    This has pissed me to the core.

                    I called the second time and spoke to mahesh. This guy was playing with his headset. I could hardly hear him. He promised me that the manager will get back to me, which didn't happen.

                    I want the sun direct guys to listen the call recording and know what happened. I have been using the connection since 2 years and never expected the experience to be this worst.

                    The associates don't have basic ethics and zero call quality.

                    Agents need to be trained in a better way.

                    Don't get back to me saying that you could't get/check the call recording.

                    I have the call recordings and will help you with it.

                    I want the people to know how ridiculous the sun direct associates sound on call with no basic ethics..

                      My complaint about sun direct dth services is why they are not following rules given by indian government as law they as the dth service provides why they are not following la carte pay for channels which was implemented by india government in 2013, many of the consumers are paying for unwanted channels which sun direct forces to take as a package.

                      On september 3, 2007, the telecom regulatory authority of india (Trai) issued the telecommunication (Broadcasting and cable services) interconnection (Fourth amendment) regulation 2007, which went into law on december 1; the rules require all broadcasters to offer channels on an a la carte basis.[39][40] the regulation states, "all broadcasters will compulsorily offer all their channels on a la carte basis to dth operators. Additionally, they may also offer bouquets, but they will not compel any dth operator to include the entire bouquet in any package being offered by dth operators to their subscribers".[41] prior to the regulation, only customers in areas covered by the conditional access system (Cas), and cable systems providing the services, had the option of choosing to buy only the channels they were interested in. Trai intervened after dth operators complained that broadcasters were forcing them to carry channels that they did not want.[42] in the telecommunication (Broadcasting and cable) services (Second) tariff (Eighth amendment) order, 2007 (A revision of the earlier regulation issued on october 4, 2007), broadcasters were ordered to offer all channels on an a la carte basis to cable providers. Like the earlier regulation concerning dth operators, this order took effect on december 1, 2007. It also permitted packages to be offered along with a la carte.[43][44]

                      Several broadcasters, such as star india, zee turner, set discovery and sun tv, challenged trai's order in the telecom disputes settlement appellate tribunal (Tdsat).[45][46][47] on january 15, 2008, tdsat refused to grant a stay on the appeal challenging trai's directive; tdsat overruled the broadcasters' objections.[48] the agency later set aside trai's december 2007 tariff regime. Trai challenged tdsat's order in the supreme court, and stated in proceedings on july 22, 2010 that "in the analog, non-addressable environment, the authority is of the view that a la carte should not be made mandatory at the wholesale level as technological constraints in any case make it impossible for the benefits of a la carte provisioning to be passed on to subscribers".[49][50]

                      Trai ordered that pay television customers in india must be given a free choice of channels rather than be forced to choose package deals, enforcing a january 2011 deadline to implement the changes.[51][52] the order stated, "every service provider providing broadcasting services or cable services to its subscribers using an addressable system shall offer all pay channels to its subscribers on a la carte basis and shall specify the maximum retail price for each pay channel".[53] tata sky, airtel digital tv, videocon d2h, in digital and reliance digital tv launched a la carte options in january 2011.[54][55][56][57]

                        My smart card number is [protected], i am from bangalore, i took new connection during april16, after i recharged for 12 month on 13th oct17 by paying rs.2850/-, suddenly from 15th aug17 my cable got disconnected.

                        I approached customer care as they said due to technical issue it has taken monthly deduction pack, we will raise compliant and technical team will get back you in 48hrs.

                        No one is reverting back on this, after if i call them they are saying back end team has closed the ticket, this is happening form me since 15th aug17, i am calling them daily they are raising ticket again and again some one is closing.

                        Finally no resolve, please do not recommend sun direct to any one. Even customer care doesn't know how to speak with customer.

                        Not sure i am raising compliant in this forum i hope this will resolve.

                          I have a received a msg on my tv to upgrade the setup box for free of cost till 31 aug 2017. When reached the area distributor, he says that it will be changed and immediately disconnects the call. His name is as mentioned below,

                            Myself is m vijayan nair residing at dombivli west, distt. Thane, maharashtra and i have taken a sun direct connection on 12/03/2013 for half yearly subscription basis. The smart card no. Is [protected]. Since, 17th july, 2017 i vigorously chasing sundirect customer care executive because we are getting signal error of 48-32 (Not even door darshan is displaying in the screen to hear some news, since 17th july, 2017). Continuously, i am chasing them to resolve the problem or they can refund the money that i have already paid to them in advance for six months, so that i can switch over to other so many dth services available.. But neither they have resolved the issue nor refund the money. Their readymade words are "aap nishchind rahiye hum aapke complaint forward kiya gaya hain, jaldi se jaldi technician visit karega". This is the permanent word i am getting from them on daily basis. Could you be able assist me in this regard and resolve the issue.

                              I am frm shapur suraramcolonyi have taken new sundirect connection before sixmonths back but give old box to us they said we dont have stock they give us old box old card they recharge six months they after six month we will give to u a new box but now they are saying we will never give the new box i[censored] want to new box then recharge six month then we will u new box. How its possible its depend upon our self. We will as per ever 1 mounth only we will recharge. We are asking to the connection person but he was saying what ever u want to do u just do it we need not to give the box take complaint her no


                              How u can give leanson to the sales person they are not giving single information they are what ever u want to do just do u that means u both are not coaudination with custmers they are saying stores to u when we r going in road then acidient will be happen what we should have to do. These stores has talking with custmers. How they can speak like that. They should have lisen the custmer problem

                                  My smart card no:[protected]. One month back i had requested for installation after relocation from bangalore to orissa. Launched couple of complaints as well. Sundirect technician did not turn-up. With great difficuly, i caught hold of a local technician and installed. Now i am able view hardly few channels only. Other channels i am geting e48/e52 error. Same issue was also reported to customer care.in spite of repeated complaints none of the sun direct technician turnup to resolve the issue. Their customer service very very pathetic. I would like to bring this issue to the highest level in the customer care and again request to resolve immediately or refund amount which i have paid for subscription.

                                  I recharged with Mega pack with Rs1060 for 3 months, but still getting the old pack which is worth Rs803. I am not able reach anyone on any phone numbers or any other means.

                                    The sunnxt is a product of sundirect and there were no customer care no. Or email. My problem is that i downloaded sunnxt application in my 3g smart phone for free. But they asked the credit card details at that time. But when ever i use app. Always comes as download error. But for the last 2 months rs.50.00 was cut from my card with out my concent. Pl. Stop debit the money from my card as i am no more interested in sunnxt application.

                                    I have to change smart card no and we have complained through cell phone but they didn't change the card no, but they will take complaint but they will careless with our complent what is the use customer care centre i have a bad exprinence
                                    Same issue is happening to me. they are not loyal enough

I have sent complaint mail to paytm care service but they said their side recharge success my sun dth account. No is [protected] amount 1014 order i'd number is [protected] recharge date 15 aug 07:14pm dc transaction no is [protected] kindly check the issue and do the needful please hope u resolve it soon

                                        We are using sun tv channel for more than 10 years. Now recently we changed the set of box in to hd. But for more than one month we are not getting any channel properly. We complained for more than 3 times. Every time they told, their technicians will come within 48 hours. But still now nobody came. And without solving the problem they sent a sms that your problem solved through phone. What can we do?

                                        Start sport has released two channel star sports select 1 and 2. This is for Permier league . But still you guys have not been updated the channel in your list Its hurting me... because there is some football fans in India.Try to provide as soon as possible
