My Smart Card No. is [protected]. I recharged the connection for Rs.504.00 yesterday Ref No. ONL[protected] at 10 am but till now the connection is activated. Lot of complaints have been made - Nos. CW[protected],[protected] etc. Always promised connection in 15 minutes and asked to put on the Set Top Box on but not cares to provide the connection. Your customer care nos. keep the customer hold for hours together thus losing money. In this way you are cheating the customer.

    I recharged my sundirect DTH on 7th aug 2017. But still the signal is searching. The same problem told to help line provided by the company, they said with in 24 hours will reach techinical person and resolve the problem. After that again called to the help line because i did not recieve any call from techinical person . Then again i was registered a complaint to help line. They said same... support officer will call to you.STILL NOW NOT RESOLVED THE problem.

    Finally i decided just withdraw my cable connection from sun direct DTH.

      Hi, i took the sun dth connection on saturday 5th of august, i ordered for a full pack, but majority of the channels is not getting, the dish is not properly fixed. For the last three days plenty of times to customer care, now it finished the said time 24 hours, still the problem is there. When ever i called the customer care people they tell, your issue will resolve soon, one executive had given the service eng number, i called to that number, he told its the duty of the installed person to fix it, if he need to come he need money, i cant understand what is going on. I paid 3500 for the connection now they need more...

        I am sivakumar from flat no 001, ram regency, 6th cross, brindavan layout, vignanagar, bangalore 56007. I had sundirect connection for past 6 years, my smart card no is [protected]. Two days back i got call from technician about change of hd setupbox with new technology with free of cost. So i give appointment his name is suresh his contact no is [protected]. He came and change the new hd box. At the mean time i asked about new connection of sundirect to another room. He told ok i can give new connection form the old dish only. But setup box and wire will be chargeable. I say ok u can proceed. Yesterday he came and given the connection. I paid 2600 to him after that. He promise me it will get activated within one hour. It will happen around 2pm. Till 5pm no channel had come. After that i gain called suresh. He told already activated i am going to office i will chek and activate in 5 mins. I will wait up to nine he will activate. But not happen, i called his mobile is switch off from the moment, today morning also nothing happen. I called to customer care they also informed technician want to activate from that side. So i need the solution for activation? What to do?

          I am a customer of sun direct for many years and my smart card number is [protected]. I i am getting error e 118-4 reserved smart card return code on star plus, stargold, starsport hindi. I called customer care twice and they said me to clean the smart card and insert again i did what they asked me to do and it doesn't worked. They told me that they could sent some technician to my house which would cost 150 rupees which is totally unprofessional because for their fault i was not ready to pay. This has been going for more than 4-5 months and when i looked the internet i found out this is a common issue so it has to be corrected by the company itself. I believe company is using this as an excuse to lure money from customers. Customer experience is so bad that i am thinking of finding other alternatives. If this issue is not solved i would change my dish and will not recommend sun direct to anyone thank you very much.

              My smart card number is [protected]. I am a hd customer. On

              02/08/17 (To day) from sun direct they came and replaced the set top box

              Saying that they are replacing the box for they want to add some more

              Channels.

              After fixing the new box i told the person that the picture clarity is very bad

              And the vision is blurred and i was not able to read even the small letters

              Appearing since the clarity is that bad.

              I rang up their customer care. They asked me to ring up area distributor

              Then that person to the person who had fixed.

              In the meantime a message came that my complaint is resolved.

              When was it resolved? I asked for my old set top box, they never replied.

              In this situation i feel it is better to come out of sun direct instead of

              Making calls to different persons with no solution.

              on 26/7/17.

              Previously i recharged for Rs.550/- for Tamil value packfor 3 months on 5/4/17.

              I heard the GST has reduced the tax burden; But why you have charged more for me. Please explain

                  Good morning,
                  This is m. Kanagaraj from bangalore, my sun direct smart card no is [protected]. To this smart card i have recharged rs 259 /- on 21/07/2017. But has not activated, i have called to the costumer care and they some one and made my connection activated, and charged rs.170/- and phone call cost me rs 10 /- when i called to the costumer care it's fine, but again on[protected] they deactivated i don't know why. Once again i have called to the costumer care they said service engineer will come on[protected] at 06.30 pm but there is no use. Still it is not activated why. Due to this i lost rs 25 /-. This is not fair, totaly rs 35/- i have lost from my mobile and the service is also very worst. Totaly i have lost rs 469/-. And i paid the recharge amount for 30 days but i don't know how many days they need to solve this issue, (Without seeing any program i have to pay)

                    My sc no [protected] vide my complaint on july 22nd 2017 one lady called me from sun direct and said that my problem will be solved within 48 hours then they will contact me and refund my money and tell the details. 4 days passed away no one contacted me so far and i dont know about my complaint status. is this is the way you people work? dont you have any duty consciousness? what is the sun tv management doing? do they pay their employees just to cheat customers money like me and also for not answering the complaints? you have devoured my money with the help of your careless workers. such a negligence. you are ready to do mistakes but are not ready to clarify and solve everything.

                      I purchased a new sundirect hd set-top box in the month end of april with a 3 month subscription. After the installation the very next week i started getting scrambled hd channels. I called customer care and they sent a technician next day to fix it and he fixed it. I was happy about the channels i was getting and the service the sundirect technician provided initially. But that didn't lasted for long. The next month i faced the same issue and i called the technician directly without raising a complaint via customer care. He then gave me the number of another technician who did not picked up the call. So this went like that for 2-3 days and finally some one named shiv kumar called up and said he is the area manager and he is coming to my place to check the issue. He was a nice person (Speaks good english) and helped us fix the issue and gave his number. He said if there is any issue, we may ciontact him. Things was going good till july 20th.

                      I encountered an unexpected issue on 20th of july and i called the local sundirect technician for help. He asked for the error code and the error code i provided couldn't be identified by that person. He said there are lot of customer calling and complaining the same thing and this issue could be because of a technical issue from the sundirect itself. He said the issue will get resolved within 4hrs. After 4 hours the channels didnt come back properly. Some hd channels were showing but the entire sd+ channels were not there. I took sundirect mainly for malayalam channels and in hd we have only 3 channels available which is not what i'm expecting.

                      On 22 i called the customer care and opened a ticket cw[protected]. The agent who attended my call assured the assistance in another 24hrs but no one called or fixed my issue. 2 days later i called again and the said some one will contact me immediatly which did not happened. After several hours a technician called and asked me about the error code, location etc. This was already done by the 2 technician who called me earlier and no one turned up to fix my issue. All were asking me to do a factory rest which i know already how to do myself.

                      Later on 27 i called the customer care again in the morning and the agent politely apologized and assured me support in another 4hrs. The story was the same and nothing happened.

                      In the evening i called the customer care again and spoke with mr. Manoj who introduced himself as the supervisor and i told him the whole store again. I informed him that from 20th on wards i didn't get any channel and i have paid the money for the entire 3 months subscription. Also i informed that the subscription is gonna expire on 28th of july. I asked him to fix it and extend my subscription for another 8 more days. He denied to extend the service for another 8 days and he said they don't have such kind of policy. But i dont understand whether they do have a policy to cut down the service after taking the money from the customer by offering something for three months. Also he said sundirect's field manager in my area will contact me immediately and will take care of the issue. I trusted him and waited for the call. Till now no one called or no response from any one.

                      So what can i do for getting my money back here. Since we have lot of service providers in india like videocon, airtel, act, dishtv etc, why should i stick with these irresponsible fellows. 1 or 2 days of delay is understandable. But after 8 days, no one had any interest in fixing the problem.

                        Sir,
                        This is to bring under your keen lenses that on 25th july 2017, a complaint against my deformed set top box showing “e-118” notification exclusively on all star channel networks; was lodged by me through your 24x7 consumer care number. My complaint was taken without providing me any job/rocket number, whatsoever. The next day your technician named mr. Subho arrived and replaced the above set top box with an old, repaired, unsealed one evident from its dull colour and scratches. He took rs. 350 as the price of new set-top box and rs. 150 as his service charges. However, he never gave us any invoice slip/ bill/ challan for this transaction of worth rs.500, in total. On being asked, he said that new set top boxes are “unavailable to existing customers” and “the office does not give them any such challan.” he added that i am entitled to receive “free services for coming three months for similar problems.” owing to necessity, i had to accept to his terms. However, i managed to note down his contact number which is [protected]. The very next day, the replaced box got defunct in midst of a tv show. When i called the kolkata office, it was busy. On calling mr. Subho, he said that he shall reach me the next day.
                        In this scenario, me and my family have the following queries for you to answer in legitimate grounds that might hold water if contested in consumer court.
                        1. In this era of consumer sovereignty and empowerment, how can a prestigious network like yours continue business so casually? Not giving job reference/ complaint numbers to consumers against their complaint and more importantly no challan/ transaction slip against monetary transaction, as in my case?
                        2. Why did a new, sealed set top box not provided to me, though i paid for the same in cash, and i paid full?
                        3. How can your employee dare to utter the above comments especially the one with “free services for the coming three months”. Is it so that they are running your company or this is your new market strategy to uplift your falling shares, and part of your scam?
                        4. How am i to claim for my data balance that i have not being able to watch /use due to your faulty set top box since it got defunct and shall remain defunct till your hands come in?
                        5. Why is it that your customer services are so poor and the so called “toll free numbers” are a show business. Even the chat service is useless as there is none to hear you from the other end.
                        I request you to provide me a satisfying explanation against the above queries in legitimate grounds and prior to that resolve my problem by altering your faulty set top box with a new, sealed, functional one, free of cost acknowledging my above transaction.

                            Set top box of sun direct dth is not serviceable for past 18 days various complaints made and e mails sent.

                            Nodal officer mr ashish called up promising to replace it in two working days but no action has been taken.

                            Now there is no response to the various e mails sent to the nodal officer. Call center says no set top box due to gst

                              On 10.07.2017 i have upgraded my sun direct sd to hd and paid rs.873/- towards hd prime tamil cinema plus sports basic subscription package 3 months renewal with validity up to 08.10.2017. While paying puthiya thalaimurai channel was in that package. Up to 17.07.2017 the channel was coming. On 18.07.2017 the channel was deactivated and asked us to contact their customer care for activation. When contacted i was told that "to avert the impact of gst on our subscribers, few channels are made available on a-la-carte basis only for the customers to choose from, thus avoiding overall price hike." in that puthiya thalaimurai was there and i was asked to pay rs.10/- per month extra for activating that channel. But when advance was paid for 3 months and gst was rolled out on 01.07.2017 itself, they cannot delete any channels from the package and demand extra money. Its breach and violation of contract.

                                  I pre purchased a package from sundirect in the may before the gst for one year. After the gst they cut the channel from our package without any information
                                  This is the ethics for sundirect.
                                  However i contact the customer care for twice. They are not aware about the services. Even they don't have the basic politeness without my knowledge they released my call during the conversation. They don have the superior officer

                                      I am having 2 sundirect connections smart card # [protected] and smart card# [protected]. I did a recharge for [protected], but the recharge amount has gone to another smart card. I have called the customer service 4 to 5 times and no resolution so far to make my connection active even after recharge after 873 rs and 50 rs. The customer care raise a case and close it without solving the problem. Whenever i call they say it will be resolved tomorrow, but not resolved so far. Its more than 1 week now. Even no response to the email which was sent to ([protected]@sundirect.in). This is really worst service i have ever had

                                      The money has been eaten away and no connection or channels from the last 1 week. Please help

                                        We have sun direct disc and the set top box is not working. We have been calling them for last 15 days but there is no response,

                                        The complaint numbers are sr[protected] dated 12 july and cw[protected] of 14 july.

                                        We paid amount for 6 months in advance, and if it takes 3 months to change the set top box, i feel it is a case of white collar fraud carried bu sun direct.
