My id number is [protected] and my contact number is [protected]. Sir on 19/04/17 i made a complaint regarding my set of box. The next day without consulting me the technician resolve the complaint. The next day again i complain ad i waited for two days after that i got a message the complaint is resolved, but nobody contact me and solve my problem. So today again i contact customer care and i give a complaint and my complaint number is sr[protected]. So please sent me one technician to solve my problem since i want to continue as a sundirect customer. Venu rajan

    My registered customer id is [protected]. I am unable to view zee tv (For which i have already subscribed). Customer care number is very busy. I kindly request you to remove the caption "24*7 customer care" from your ad as it is really shameful. I tried contacting the number many times, not at odd hours, then also getting a reply that the lines are busy.

    I have requested for the relocation. I didn't get service even after I waited more than 50 hours. I got a call from sun direct agency and they informed me that they have shortage of servicemen so they can help me after 4 days. I am really frustrated with this response from the agency located at pin code 682021
    I have registered for HD pack... But none of the HD channels are coming from past 1 month.
    Please add star maa gold and Sony yay channels on sundirect...

      I am a customer of sun direct from last 5 years. The service I'll say is very poor in our area. Now i had the problems is that three channels i.e. ABP news, MH1 and INDIA TV news are not running properly. The video gets mosaiced automatically. When i have complained about this then they told me that they will charge a sum of 150rs. I said why should i pay charges Because there is not my fault in this so the customer care executive said that ok sir i am registering your complaint and the technician will come free of cost. Today i recieved a call from the technician and he said that he will charge 150rs. I said that don't come i will not give a single penny to you.

        Installed hd setup box, Telugu sports plus, annual subscription, in Feb 2017. So far, it worked for only for a few weeks in these 3 months after raising 7-8 complaints in between. Technician cheated by charging extra money during warranty period and fixed broken clamps twice, misbehaving, etc. Spoke to supervisor Santhosh on the toll free number just a few days ago and nothing happened after that. I lost 2 months of subscription due to substandard and cheap service provided so far. As this has been persisting since a few months from the date of installation, I am thinking of raising a complaint with Karnataka consumer forum. I see several complaints here as well. There is immense loss. My subscription should be extended accordingly at free of cost.

            I ramesh akinapelli, i'm using sundirect connection with smart card no [protected] since 2013.. But i have recharged with 59/- by 05.04.2017, i have my account validation on or before 13th, april 2017..
            Today i requested to activate the etv plus, then he, the customer care service boy has activated etv plus but deactivated the t20 pack, then i asked him why he was deactivated my t20 plan but he has given wrong answers after another customer care service boy also same..
            This is not the service to the customers.. Kindly clear this problem to enjoy the t20 series..
            Take the action on irresponsible customer care executives of sundirect..

                I am your customer since 4 year old, my smart card no. Is [protected]. I have logged our
                Complaint 8 days (192 hours) before at your end through complaint no. Sr[protected]
                Dt.22/03/17 for set top box failure with this assurance by your department that it must
                Resolve with in 48 hours.

                In-spite of that we again & again repeat our complaint at every 48 hours but neither any
                Body contact to us nor any representative call on my complaint to resolve this issue.

                Beyond resolving the set top box failure complaint of 22nd march, your department further
                Deduct next quarter renewal charges on 26 mar in my account also.

                Kindly reverse my this renewal amount and surrender your all formalities to re-join me
                For further new best telecast service provider operator.

                Hope you understand my view point and do the immediate action for close this issue to
                Avoid further any action towards my end in future.

                  I have sun direct tamil cinema plus sports package for the last 2 years and since i paid for the setup box 2 years ago, when i raised a complaint stating that some of the channels were not getting relayed, i was asked to change the setup box as if it was my fault.
                  I had to pay rs. 200 to get the new setup box on march 6, 2017 and also paid rs. 700 to get the channels as part of tamil cinema plus sports package. All of a sudden without prior intimation or informing me there is a tamil channel (Likewise telugu channel also) which is sun action 109 has been removed on march 16, 2017.
                  When i raised a complaint with customer care and nodal officer i am told that they have removed it for all customers and have been rudely answering my questions.
                  If i say that i will not pay rs. 700 as other customers have paid, will sun direct be able to provide me the package free of cost. I guess not and how come without keeping me as a customer sun direct can remove a channel and be able to talk so rudely.
                  Also, when i call the[protected] number i am being given some excuse when i wanted to talk with the supervisor stating that the supervisor will call me in 30 mins. Time and even though i have called and asked to talk with the supervisor twice i not only received any calls from the supervisor (Supposed to have received a call from mr. Harish) but also i got the same answer the second time also stating that he would call me in the next 30 mins.
                  Is sun direct running a charity business by cheating me in this way? How come they charged me and not provided me and rudely be able to speak to me in this way per the rti act of india.
                  Let me take this up legally and if i don't receive a reply by saturday i will have to take some extreme step and put the blame on sun direct including the name of mr. Harish, mr. Ajay and couple of nodal officers who spoke rudely with me over the phone stating that they have harassed me and that is the reason why i had to take up this extreme step.

After the complaint they are given me 48 hours time for solve the problem. Unfortunately no service will be provided from the side of sun direct till date.

                        We had tried recharge for Rs 1050.00 thru on line on 18/02/2017. This amount of Rs 1050.00 debited to my SB account with CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA. This transaction done with my debit card. My debit card no.[protected] of Central Bank of India. Transaction Id is ONL[protected].

                        Till date our dish account not recharged but amount debited in the bank also not reversed.

                        We logged complaint registed no [protected] dt 20/02/2017.

                        but complaint is not solved.

                          E06-04 smart card failure

                          Dear sir, my sun direct TV card no.[protected] recharged on 14/2/2017 evening. At that time TV was off because there was no power. called your toll free number two times. they verified the same and send me message that complaint was resoved. but the TV is not working. only the ist channel 0001 is only diplaed. if we press other channels no display. some times it shows the above subject error. Kindly look in to the matter immediately....

                          I am writing this email regarding a scandalous operation or intended product manipulation to overcharge the customer, by providing non-supporting products (Set-top box) to the customers and change them to replace that to a good one. As of I am Using the HD digital services from sun direct Card No : **********.

                          I am being using this for several months and i been not serving with full HD channels as of we though we are not subscribed to those channels. but later we came to know that the HD subscription includes every HD channels so we contacted the customer care to solve the issue as of one of your technician turned out immediately with an hour time (which is really appreciating). and made changes to the dish angle to get the lost channels and solved that problem. and we paid an amount of 150/- for his service. But unfortunately that raised to another issue that we have lost some other usual (non-HD) channels which we could see before. so we raised another complaint and he turned out immediately. But we couldn't get all these channels in a mean time (in one co-ordinates we get those few HD channels but we loose other channels, if change the angles, it goes other way around). and by checking the angle and every measures (contacted with other officials too) your technician and Official quoted with the on going issue with the specific model of Set-top box (coship model). confirmed that with higher officials and even checked it in their site itself. They confirmed this model is having a issue of supporting the HD channels (like we have), and later asked to change this set-top box. and unfortunately thats being charged a 350/-. so Seems like sundirect providing a faulty or non-supporting set-top box initially and charge the customer to change it to a new one. This not as good as seems to me. seems like an intended customer looting or a
                          Planned obsolescence.

                          I hope you go through the issue and Look into to solve this by refunding the money as soon as Possible. [protected]

                            Regret to inform you that past 12 years I am using Sun Direct dish only. I have faced problem always, every time complaint register and your persons also come and check, but problem not solved.

                            I have changed new set off box on 28.10.16 and past one month i am facing channel problem and sound level. Your dealer Mr.Babu-(mob.no.[protected]) Dolpin -Coimbatore area rep.only change the set-off box and he only inform 1 year warranty period is avl.
                            Yesterday I have register the complaint.

                            On warranty period how can i pay the amount.

                                  The company has charged us 2000 rs for a year (till Nov 2018). But they are refusing to provide connection. Several complaints have been made but still they say that the technician will come and help us which nobody never came. And moreover this has been the issue for about a month now. We've have been trying to get this rectified with the customer service but they are completely useless. And when we try to move to another DTH connection they are refusing the refund the money. This is outrageous and a compete violation of Consumer rights. And they have been doing this to us since a month and they are indescribable about this.

                                      My sc no. [protected]. Residing in villivakkam. My settop box was recently replaced with a news one in the 1st week of january 2017. Again i received e48 / e52 searching for signal. I had takenup the issue with nearest distributor (Kolathur) for which he wanted to again replace the settop box for rs.650. It is to note that i had replaced the existing one for rs.350. Is there any logic in contiunously paying money to the distributor and replacing the settop box without the mistake of the consumer. Later getting annoyed with this attitude, i placed a complaint over phone with complaint no. Sr[protected]. Still im expecting a positive reply from the technicians. Im helpless. I wish to surrender my connection or else i would be forced to file a legal complaint for the harrassment i had through the distributor.
