I have taken sun direct hd+ connection one week back(smart card no [protected]). From first day i am getting very poor signal for which i complained to sundirect by calling serveral times. Finally, technician came and have done something and from that time blank screen is coming. Again i complained to customer care, this time their technical team called when i was there in office and asked me to be there at TV. I said i would reach my home by 7:30 and asked them to call at time for which they agreed. But i didn't get call. I again called them and got response that i should be there when technical people calls me and they can call me at any time. This is the worst service from sundirect . I used many services like airtel broadband, tikona broadband, samsung service, symphony service, idea network etc., But i never experienced this much worst service. Please don't go for sun direct. If possible i will be throwing my sun direct into dust bin.

My problem got rectified with silly solution for which the technician came from sun direct don't know but the person came from dealer knows.For non hd tv to be connected from hd setup box a code 7531 should be typed(which is much like cheat code) at help section in tools. Thank you sun direct and consumercomplaints.in for escalating and responding to my complaint.

    Most horrible customer care...after complaining about the problem they don't even try to resolve it and ask unwanted questions to waste the time. I had been using this useless service from 2009 onwards...But off late from November 2015 onwards the problems are almost everyday and when there is heavy rain or heavy wind...gone no signals for days together even after complaining...

    Whenever we talk little technical they try to deviate the subject and dont give proper information and simply ask us to call the distributor / agent to rectify and they say they are not responsible...

    Request to kindly take suitable action and try to rectify the issue so that atleast someone else will not face this problem.

      I did special recharge for my sun direct dth num: [protected] on 7th may 2016. But still it's not yet activated..

      I tried n number of calls to the customer care number.. But, it's never connecting.. Even ivr also not yet coming, just call will get drop off..

      I fed of this sun direct.. I hope so many people suffer the same.. Like me,

      O, before going to move all o[censored]s to the other n/w's please provide proper customer support.

      And even i did one month special recharge to the same number.. From official website of sun direct through online. So, i want to know whether that one also going to add to above mentioned (My sun direct dth id) or not.

      Do needful.

        I have activated Sony Six HD channel for IPL. Everynight after 7-8pm, this channel gets blocked and works properly during the day time. I have made multiple calls to Sun direct and their response was pathetic. Finally when they responded, they said that this needs engineer visit and I need to pay 150 Rupees for their Engineer's visit. Why would I pay 150 Rupees for this when the channel cost is 45 Rupees?
        When I asked for this, their response was pathetic and was keep on saying that their engineer needs to visit in order for rectification. Finally when I asked to escalate this case to their internal authority, they have promised to do it, but it never happened. Today I got a message from them that the problem has been resolved. This is a pure cheating concept which has happened continuously to me. I dont know how they could come to such sort of conclusion.

        Since they know that the consumers will not go to court, they are playing with us. Worst Service.

          I registered a complaint regarding set up box not switching On/ No power vide SR# 1-[protected] on 09/05/2016. One mechanic came today and installed the new set up box and asking Rs. 350/-. He is not giving any bill for the money I paid. He didn't bring the bill book he says. Why so casual attitude of your mechanic. He says come to yelahanka, i will give the bill. we don't have any work or not, I have to go behind him for getting the bill. He took the set up box again back . I received a message that your complaint solved and closing the issue. How you are closing the complaint without resolving the issue. clarify and take the action against the mechanic.

            Dear Sir,
            Last 5th may I have complaint about no signal. Technician attend and fine tuneef the dish then go back. After few hours signal not came and again complaint to office.
            Again next day he came re locate the dish and fine turned then signal came.
            After 3 days today again there is no signal and again I complaint to the office.
            Distributor saying setup box will problem, so need to change setup box.
            I can not spend for setup box already I have paid 300.00 rupees for re located.
            Please fix the problem asap and permanently.

              Since one week our sun direct net work is not working. It seems to be a signal problem. We tried to call a person to repair. He keeps telling me that he would come but some how he hasn't come so far. My sun direct card number is [protected]R. our house is situated in Auroville. I just bye this product on feb 16, 2016 and the dth which they gave us is not working its not even showing any error or any icon in the tv so i register a complaint for my issues on april 30, 2016 on evening but there is no response from sun direct dth to solve the problem since 6 days. they said they will be attending us at home for the problem. I want to file a complaint against sun direct dth for not responding for complaint given to them and for not giving proper answer by there customer service.

                  Regarding the above, i have made a complaint to your help desk in january '16 but i regret to state that, despite making numerous follow-up calls from my end, no action has been initiated from your end and whenever i make a call i was assured with the same "our technician would visit you within 25 hours". Even after the lapse of more 5 months nobody contacted me nor visited my residence to sort out the problem.

                  My request in this respect is to kindly depute a person to sort out the problem once and for all and being a well established south indian firm it does not make good repute to your concern by not sorting out the problem of customer for such a long period.

                    Hi,

                    My name is Ganesh Babu. I have registered a complaint about setup box. It was not working and they accepted to fix it within 24 hours. The setup box which I had was new one, the technician came and fixed after 1 day and charged some money. He said the picture will come in 2 hours. I waited for half a day.. No use. Then I lost patient and called the customer care again. They again took a complaint, I got irritation and shouted.

                    My setup box was new but still got prob and paid for technician and wasted the validity for 2 days.. Still these people asking me to wait for another 24 hours. Which made me to feel for buying sun direct. The customer service is pathetic.. The way reply will increase your anger only. I totally lost interest in sun direct.

                      I had booked a new hd box as upgrade. And the request number is 1-[protected]. They told that within 48 hrs it will be installed. I had called the call centre executive more than 6 times. Upto still now, no response from any one of the dealer, executive & technicain. I am totally fade up with incident. So i want to cancell my sun direct network & setup box. Make this as a compliant

                      Sundirect support and services are pathetic, if we call customer care they will take more than 45min to respond

                      Devices which sundirect supplies is not Quality Checked, I have requested for upgradation of settop box but its failed within 1-2 months and gives noise ( Hum sound ) and faded image

                        I have recharged for 1665.00 on 20-oct-2016. And it is reflecting the same in my sun direct website. However, i activated the connection for 1 year. But suddenly they revoked the connection on 23-apr-2016. I have called customer care executives for more than 5 times. No one is giving proper answer. Better they can shut the customer care service. They were telling that i have not recharged at all. But how come it is reflecting in transaction history and how they provided the connection for that till 23, apr 2015. For you reference, i have attached the screenshot. I want justice. Very poor sun direct dth. Dont buy this

                          sir i complained thrice within a week regarding non functioning of the dish antenna and non availability of signal . every time i was assuared a technician will be sent within 48 hrs but still i am waiting for the technician after 1 week also.A very simple problem to be solved if a authorised technician is sent.

                            I have a sun direct dth connection, i made a recharge of rs. 230 (Cenema +sports) pack on 19th march 2016, 10:36 am, we where getting the service till midnight of 14 april 2016, but from 15 march we are getting no service from the sun direct, so the service was provided by the sun direct only for 28 days but an actual validity of a plan is 30 days, the tv screen showing the information " service is currently scrambled", the signal strength is good, but no service from sun direct, this is clearly a fraudulent practice by the sun direct, and another thing is they are offering the espn along with the cinema+ sports pack of rs. 230, though i recharged the sun dth with the same pack but they says that you have to recharge atleast 6 months to get the espn channel for free, if they are making an offer on cenema+sports pack then it should be common for all the consumer who are making payment for one months or six months. These fraudulent activities are carrying out in the entire country but everybody is with or without knowing the same hesitated to took any action against the same, kindly acknowledge my complaint and kindly take necessory action

                              Hello im mahesh and my smart card number is[protected]**, i raised a request for relocation in 13/04/2016, Mr X technician visited my premises and the first question he asked me was have you moved your home things . But how does that matters to him he is just a locl tech and his just is just to relocate the dish which he is getting paid for, I called the toll free number 1800 ******* number, the person who recived the call said he will raise a complaint and engg will visit in nxt 48Hrs, Now it has been day 4 no one has replyed nor visited me . So i request pls dnt buy sundirect connection pls go for dish or tata sky which i did at last

                                    This is siddappa hunumappa residing at q.No. B-21 powergrid colony, guladahalli village, tq & dist koppal 583228. I've taken a sun direct hd connection on october -2015 in my name (Siddappa), for one year warranty basis. The smart card no. Is [protected], for the past 3 weeks, i could not receive any signal because of hd setup box is not working. I have suffered lot i missed watching 20-20 ipl, i have been ringing the customer service for the past 3 weeks no one responded for 3 weeks. I have been complaining repeatedly. Even if they picked up the call, & they are talk with rashly & mis behavior, do not send any of the service technicians. I have made more than frequently calls. Also, i've informed them that i'm going to complaint in consumer court. Till now no response.This is a last complaint i will quit hd sundirect, due to very bad service could you please assist me regarding the same?

                                    The call centers do not provide proper call returns.
                                    We have to call many times to get our services updated. This is to be taken into notice as it creates frustration in us.
                                    Please provide us with good call center services

                                      I gave my setup box with smart card for repair on 11th february, 2016. I didn't repair it, because same model was not available, also for new model setup box they are charging rs. 600 for setup box and rs. 200 for its charging adapter. I asked him multiple times to return setup box along with my smart card, he always says some excuses like its at godown, i am busy now, i didn't find smart card come tomorrow, etc.

                                      On 6th april, 2016, i got a message from sun direct with recharge of 199. I don't have setup box and smart card, then who is using it. I wen on 9th april, 2016 to ask again to return setup box and smart card, he replied "i am unable to find your card, can i give you other smart card?".

                                      I need refund for the two months which i haven't used sun direct.

                                        I've taken a Sun Direct Connection on my name, for one year subscription. recently i shifted my house and i request them to reinstall more then 100 times. I have been ringing the customer service for the past 1 weeks . No one responded . they are creating service request, then we need to wait 24 to 48 hour. with out solving issue they are closing the issue. after we call again they are reopening with new service number, this is appending almost 4 times till now i did't get any solutions.
