Sun direct box throws a message saying "no signal" for the past one week. We've been trying to reach someone from sun direct but whom ever we contact, they say it would take another 2 days to fix the issue. But no one came to fix issue. So i tried calling the sun direct customer care number but no one picks up the call, no matter how many times i call, i'm on hold. I called rajakillpakkam customer care and the guy whom picked, disconnected the call the moment i asked if it was sun direct customer care. Tried many other sun direct technicians number, whom we worked in the past for other issues, but not reachable. Their mobiles are switched off. Can someone please look into this issue and sort it out asap, as its so annoying to followup with sun direct's irresponsible customer care. My sun direct card number is [protected].

    I have renewed my Sundirect HD connection online on 16th December 2016. I was prompted to pay around Rs.1800/- for renewal for a period of 6 months which was done. I waited for more than 2 hours to receive transmission from Sundirect but it just showed "No Signal". After trying their customer care for more than 20 minutes, I got someone at the other end. He promptly told me (like a recorded message) that I have Rs.316/- in my balance and that my renewal was for 3 months for the Mega HD channel. I didnt want to argue with him since he was repeating the same message. I registered my complaint and I got a message that their technician would call me and resolve the problem. The technician made me wait the whole of the next day and arrived late in the evening (around 6.30 pm) and checked the dish on the terrace. He turned it a bit and immediately the signal was received on my TV. Then he came to check the set top box and the signal just vanished and I got "No signal" again. He spoke to someone and then told me that my cable was defective and that he would come the next day morning and change it for a charge of Rs.12/- per meter. He also collected Rs.150/- as visit charges. I waited the next day till noon and then called him. He said he would send his man in the evening. Again when I tried calling him, there was no response. On the third day I called him and still there was no response. I got back to the Sundirect customer care and was told that my case was resolved and docket closed. I was furious and gave them a piece of my mind and told them that they were all cheats and they had a pathetic customer care and an even worse technical support. Their standard response in Tamil "we are sorry for the inconvenience". I told them to keep their sorry to themselves and resolve my problem. Thereafter all things "hang in thin air". This is the second time I am having this bad experience with them. Can anyone suggest if I can use this dish and set top box for some other DTH service.

      Hi, my box number is [protected] registered under my name Arunachalam. While installing the dish, your technician with at-most careless didn't fit it properly.The dish and it's stand didn't even match. out of 4 bolts on the dish, he connects only the bottom 2. Which leaded to physical damage of the product in the latest monsoon rain. the dish, just broken into two. We have almost 50 dishes on the apartment, and none of them moved an inch in the monsoon rain. but, ours broken and for past one week I'm keep on complaining in customer care, and they are keep on registering complain, but no response from any of your technical team. The technician, main dealer no one attends the call, and zero response from them. I'm utterly disappointed with your careless installation and response. Please restore my dish or refund my money. I've subscribed for one year HD pack for christ's sake.

        A recharge of Rs. 305 was done on 15th Dec. 2016 and waiting for activation!!

        I spoke to one of your customer care executive yesterday afternoon and he promised that, it is being activated immediately. However till now my T.V. is inactive.

        this is to request you once again to do the needful and also compensate for not activating for 2 days.

        I have been trying on your customer care contact numbers, but there is no response and it looks very irresponsible system making it extremely difficult to get access to talk to customer executive !!!
        For last 2 weeks set off box not working 4 days back it was changed by technician not activated still now now smart card failure

          My name is subin thomas, sun dth number =[protected]

          I recgarged my sun dth on 11th dec-2016 from the sun direct website through my sun direct account. I selected malayalam super value pack for 3 months for 775 rs. Now iam not getting the channels as per the plan. Not evem getting the channels of the earlier plan.

          I raised a complaint sr[protected] today to sun dth. But the customer care representative is asking for 48 hours to resolve the issue. If a user selected a plan and recharge based on that plan, we should get the benefits based on that plan from the activation date. Customer representative should hear the user complaint and solve the problem asap. If the website deducted 775 rs from my account, they should give the service from that date. After the selection the plan only website will calculate the amount and deduct the amount based on the plan selected. Otherwise there is no way to pay 775 from my side.

          I am expecting the 3 months pack to be activated from today. Why customer should suffer, if sun dth website is not functioning properly

              We have lodged complaint on 3rd dec'16, no. 1-[protected] but it is not resolved yet and nobody is giving proper answer always saying to call after 30 mns due to some technical issues. However, they are not facing any technical issues while charging amount from the customer with out any service. Its shame on them for looting amount from customers.

              We beg to refund my amount and ready to surrend their set top box on my cost to their head office. We think now its heights

                'star plus' and 'star gold' channels are not getting displayed in sundirect dth in e-7, arera colony, bhopal since 3rd december. Complaints are registered multiple times with multiple follow ups but of no use. Instead people are being asked to replace the set-top box with some charges whereas the issue is reproducible after change as well. The cost of set-top box is supposed to be borne by the sundirect company as the customers are supposed to get the display of all the paid channels within recharge duration as per commitment.
                Also, could you please provide the issue resolution for the same?

                  My sun dish card number is [protected], and I was getting all the channels regularly before the vardah cyclone. After cyclone power supply is restored with a gap of just 28 hours, since then I am not getting all the channels as I had earlier. I hope there might be some problem with the main transmission center if it is so, why customers are kept I dark. They can inform the customers through display. I would like to know how much time would they take to rectify the problem. If it is not so, please see that my problem or defect is promptly attended to or necessary suggestions are communicated to me.
                  An early action in this regard is highly appreciated.

                    My set top box get faulty since 6th dec.-16 since then I am continuously call to your [protected], [protected] nos of times . but so far... no tech. call have received so far...this is very shameful to you people who is taking care of SUN DIRECT DTH services.                       We have complaint on 3rd dec'16 that many of the channels are coming very blurred with disturbance and star plus channel is permanently stopped but almost a week passed but yet it is not resolved nor technician has attend the call.

                      Top up balance of rs.500 is with them and it is deducting as per package with out any service which they don't have right.

                      Very pathetic and sick service they don't care customers and looting customers by charging with out any valued service.

                      We are fed up if possible please refund our amount and collect the set top box

They are repeatedly telling answer of "Server Down and System is getting updated" for all 75 phone calls.                               Recharged online for rs 149 yesterday and today.recharge was sucessful.but still not activated.i call you customer care they told me call after half an hour.server is down.Then i call SIX times regarding this matter still they are telling call after half an hour.still it is not activated.

                              Worst service.i dont want to continue your service and i am going to share about your worst service through social medias.

                                Since last 5 days we are constantly calling to resolve the issue but till date nobody have attended the call.

                                From last 1 months DD National, Star Utsav & TV9 Telugu channels are not coming and all of sudden even star plus is not supporting.

                                No one is concern about the complaint and frequently asking us to call after 30mns as there is a technical error. I called almost 10-15 times.

                                  We have been using the Sun Direct DTH connection since November 2015 at our residence #21, 2nd cross, Kanakadasa Layout, Lingarajapuram, Bangalore 560 084 and subsequently at our new residence since February 2016.
                                  The connection is in the name of Narendra J M with the registered mobile no[protected].
                                  The Smart Card No is [protected].

                                  During October this year, there was an issue with the connection and we made a formal complaint and a technician from Bangalore-based S K B Enterprises visited our residence and checked the same. After checking the connection, the technician, Punithan, mentioned that there was an issue with the Set-up Box and the same had to be replaced.

                                  The same was replaced on 21st October 2016. While replacing the STB, the technician also stuck a new sticker on the box with the following details: STB No: K[protected] / Smart Card No: [protected]

                                  Subsequently, from the 19th of November, there was a display on TV about the subscription to be renewed soon. Accordingly, on the 23rd November, a 3-month mega pack was paid through PayTM for an amount of INR 1485/- (PayTM transaction No - [protected]) on the Smart Card no mentioned on the STB - [protected].

                                  In spite of the payment made, the connection was not resumed even after 3 days (26th) and after repeated calls to customer care, we got to know that the recharge had been done on a wrong number.
                                  Based on this feedback, we made another payment through PayTM for an amount of INR 379, (PayTM transaction No - [protected]) one-month mega pack on the previous smart card no - [protected] on 26th November. The connection was resumed the same day.

                                  - What we would like to know is that why were two different Smart Card nos mentioned on our STB?
                                  - Since we have made a payment to the smart card no mentioned on the new STB, how do we get that money back?
                                  - How are we supposed to know that we must ignore the second smart card no mentioned on the new STB, when neither Sun Direct through it's customer care or Service provider SKB Enterprised through its technician tells us the same?
                                  - Customer care has been redirecting us to PayTM which is inappropriate
                                  - When the technician visited us again on 1st December, we realised to our utter shock that both the smart card numbers are registered on our names only, how can that be possible and can Sun Direct let us know how and when this happened?
                                  In lieu of what has taken place and the severe stress we have gone through, we would like to know how we can get the money back or a 3-month recharge that can be done on our connection.
                                  Please let us know at the earliest.

                                  During our last conversation with Ms. Ruhi from customer care Chennai, we were instructed to file this formal complaint on the SUN Direct website.

                                    I am a consumer of sun direct (id [protected].) i have recharged for one month but channel will be cut of at 26 the day.. i have recharged for385 ₹ on today, 1/12/2016 morning but still channels didn't come. this is not the first time.. when i brought their set top box it got started. i called them several times and they are not responding properly. most waste dth service is sun direct. not at all responsible to the customers.. if i am not getting by today evening atleast i am going to register a complaint against sun direct in consumer fed.

                                      I was looking the channel star sports -3 at 1:00 pm then I received a phone call sun direct that I am ajay Kumar speaking your colours channel working then I check channel above said than all channel my TV are stopped by ajay Kumar. After that I again call to customer care where I talked Mr dill bagh Singh at 1:24 pm. He said me after one hrs your TV channel come. But till time my all channel are stopped by ajay Kumar.
