I placed an order with swiggy on 12/08/2018. The payment was made online. However the order was cancelled by swiggy because of non availability of food. I was assured that i will get a refund in 2 to 3 business days. However i am yet to receive any amount. I contacted swiggy. They are telling me that refund was initiated by them and i need to contact my bank. This is what can be considered as pure harassment. Do i need to go to bank and place a request for refund everytime they cancel my order. Please help me.

As you can see in screenshot that when I asked that how was refund initiated prior to order they ended the conversation
Received a call from swiggy. They are again asking for 1 to 2 days as per screen shot attached.

    Swiggy has wasted my time as well as i had to bare hunger. Swiggy order no. #[protected]. I ordered mexican sandwich from shakti sandwich. Well, i ordered mexican sandwich from swiggy where the recommended the bestsellers sanwhich. The best seller sandhwich category has a mexican sandwich with a display picture of three bread layers grilled mexican sandwich. But i recieved only two layer simple mexican sandwich. Well, i aruged with siwggy and they told me that there's an option given whether you want grilles or ungrilled. But in reality, when you select that mexican sandwich from best seller category, it is simply added to the cart without any option of grilled or ungrilled. I aruged that to siwggy that instead of recieving grilled as per the display picture in best seller category, i aruged them for my inconvinence. After approx of 15 mins wasted over phone, they cancelled my order and said they will take it back. So i didnt get my sandwich and also wasted my time. Help me out with this thing asap.

      Hi sir/madam

      I had placed an mcdonald's order from swiggy on aug 1, 2018. Money got deducted from my bank account. Order was cancelled.

      I want to know what is the status of the refunding. How long do i have to wait for my money to get reverted to my account.

      Waiting for some response on this at the earliest.

        Suffered for three times within 15 days.

        I have ordered a cake on 1st aug 2018 and which was not delivered to me even the delivery executive's location was showing at restaurant for 2 hours and he did not picked any call.

        Then the second time again i ordered a red valvet cake of 500 gm and the cake i got was a very normal chocolate cake and which was very small.

        Immediately i contacted swiggy and they said they can't refund complete amount as they don't have such option and they can only generate a coupon for the previous order and this one and the coupon is one time.

        Then by using that one time coupon i placed an order on 14th aug but the reataurant cancelled my order saying they do not have the items available.

        Why we have to pay for something we have not given properly?

        Swiggy did this third time in a month and they have never refunded me instead offered coupons on next purchase and the coupons are one time only. I have lost around 800 and they wasted my time, exhausted my plans..

        Please help me with way forward as i want to sue for these actions.

          I ordered first time from swiggy today but after half n hour later the restaurant cancelled my order, there where guest sitting on my house, i went out and arranged food for them. Most worst food delivering company is swiggy, even i tried to contact customer care support, its showing wait for a while, something is wrong. Zomato is far better than swiggy. I had screen shot of cancelletion of my order from the restaurant, if possible i will place customer harrasment case on it.

            Hi,

            Your verification process is stupid. Why do you need photograph of our house? I have never come across such process. The agent don't even wait for a call back if we don't pick & go ahead and take photo of the house. I need a explaination. I have given all my documents adhaar, PAN & DL. What else do you need. For a delivery executive you do so much verification. This is ridiculous. Never will recommend anyone. Revert back.

              The delivered product is very bad and it was cold and smelling.
              Immediately contacted swiggy and they said they can't refund complete amount as they don't have such option.

              Why we have to pay for something we have not given properly?

              Swiggy did this second time in a month and they have never refunded me instead offered coupons on next purchase for half the price of my order. I have lost 800 almost on these issues.

              Please help me with way forward as i want to sue for these actions.

                We have ordered some south Indian Food from BANANA LEAF, Kolkata and paid through SBI Net Banking Rs 549

                The delivery boy arrived and asked for money as he said he is busy and I need to pay for the food . I paid Rs 549 thinking that the transaction might have not done. .Again when I checked found Rs 549 deducted from my SBI AC.

                I immediately complained and it says 24 Hours they will come back and sorry for the incident. Till the amount is with Swiggy to return and apologize for the cheating.

                  Hi team,

                  Have booked a delivery through swiggy, order # [protected]. Got the message from hotel and swiggy that food will get deliver in 27 mints. I called up to delivery boy "pithva bharat - # [protected]" after 35 mints of message received however after 50 minutes i got to know that order got cancelled by delivery boy with some unknown reason. When i called to know the reason he started behaving in rude fashion and disconnected the call there after.
                  Company has debited the amount from my wallet and there is no clear way to get it back.

                    It's absolutely disappointing that u guys are faking deals to promote the app, i ordered 1kg biryani thinking it was an offer and when i got the order i asked this is one plate not even 250gms d delivery guy he said sir this is what ur order is n speak to swiggy... I spoke to ur cs n he conferenced d line with d restaurant who indicated their 1kg biryani is for 1200 n disconnect d call, who is to blame now. My friends were invited to eat n i had to order from elsewhere i need 1kg biryani from swiggy as per d offer their have on the app. They have accepted it was an error at their end but not ready to honour d order even though even giving me an invoice indicating 1 kg chicken tikka biryani. If its an error at swiggys end they need to ensure you compensate for it and ensure the order is delivered. They have also provided me with an invoice indicating 1kg of chicken tikka biryani but delivered just a plate of biryani. I need you to get this sorted asap.

                      I have ordered food on swiggy on 6th aug, 2018. L, my kids birthday. It showed order received and waiting for restaurant confirmation. It was sowing same even after 30 minutes. Called swiggy customer care, they said i have to order again. Had a call for almost 30 mins, but they were saying payment failed at their end but is not reflwcted in app. But, tgey dud not inform me by any notification. Even the next level customer care person was saying it was my fault aa i did not call them after 10 mins. I asked him where it waa written to call them. He said everything wont be written. They took my money and in return blamed me. They did not deliver food and my guests has foid at 12:00 am, when i manually went to restaurant and biught food. Swiggy did it twice. And the worst thing is even on 8th aug, i received notification that order is received and waiting for restaurant confirmation. And even tiday the same status exusts in the app. And they are big cheaters company. I wanted to sue them for this cheating.

                      There is a person in Coimbatore name Ganesan M who has very very bad attitude. He often fights while delivering food items and this made a very bad impression on swiggy. I'm a software engineer and I hated to fight in street with junkies like Ganesan. Requesting you to take immediate action on him.

                        Ordered food on 15th Aug around 8:45, delivery time 45mins from swiggy app from Hotel Empire bellandur. It's been 2 hours food is not ready yet. No proper response from customer support. After calling them for 30mins they picked up now and telling items are not there. What the hell kind of service is this. I am going g to complain this on fb and Twitter as well with all details. And now they are changing my order.

                          We have ordered 3×roti's, chicken masala, chicken lollipop. The roti's all burnt very badly. Our family member are very disappointed with this. We didn't expect this from anjappar restaurant. We have paid the money and bought the food. This is not good attitude of restaurant. We need compensation. We likely to complain in the consumer service. Please take action immediately

                            Ordered (465rs)Chicken 65 dum biriyani and vanjaram fish fry at Anjappar hotel, in swiggy app. Order date:15aug18, 12.25pm. delivered 1 meals at 2pm. Awaited for 10mins to reach customer care and they tells, the items were over at hotel and shalu refund 230rs only. Awaited for 1.5hrs in hunger (the delivery time projected was 40mins). Received the wrong item, even then swiggy not giving full refund. How to get the penalty from them for my waiting, stress and finally no food. Please do the needful.

                              Its going to be 1 hour no delivery executive hasbeen assigned to my order. I am a regular customer of swiggy. If this is the way you all treat with customers, then its far better to stop using swiggy.
                              I started chat, but no one reposnded to my query.
                              I called to that no. Mentioned in the order screen, no one recieved my call.
                              This is worthless.

                                  I have ordered food on 14 aug through swiggy, i have mentioned my address and landmark clearly but location was showing wrong is that my fault, i have advised delivery boy to locate my address but he denied to deliver my food after my order picked up from restaurant and he was near to my location just half km far. But he was dening to deliver at my home, where i have given my address and landmark clearly. After one hour of discussion they have delivered my ordered such a worst service. I have ordered because i was hungry but they ordered my food after one hour of worst argument and discussion with me. And he said he will cancel my order.

                                  V did not receive meal for 4 non veg, all food was vegetarian, the restaurant has billed my debit card for 2116, expensive, but all we received was veg. I want my difference in amount returned, . Call me and clarify.

                                    This is regarding the above order number placed through the swiggy app on 09/08/2018. The order was placed at approximately 8:30 pm. After which it starting raining heavily from 9PM on wards. I expected a delay and went ahead and called Domio's Pizza (Masabt tank) for an update around 10pm. The swiggy app mentioned that i should call them directly for any further queries. They did not answer the phone the first three times, and then proceeded to answer the phone and just put the receiver aside without saying anything. I started a chat with swiggy about no update on the order and have spoken to 6/7 different chat representatives till date, who still could not get in touch with Domio's Pizza. Meanwhile, around 10:15PM i got numerous mails from swiggy saying my order has been delivered. Which it was evidently not. This time i called swiggy, and the representative tried calling the restaurant himself. There was no answer again. He told me to call him the next day during the working hours of the restaurant. The delivery guy from Domino's called at 11:15pm asking for my address to deliver the food. I told him to cancel the order as there was no update given by the restaurant or swiggy. Next day i called swiggy and they tried calling Domino's about the refund. Still no answer. I was told to call again after 5pm. I called again and got through to Domino's. They wanted to deliver the same order the next day. I refused and asked for a refund instead. They insisted that they cannot refund the money as it was paid through swiggy. They also asked for a PAYTM account that they can transfer the money to but i do not use PAYTM. So then he asked me to message my bank account details to a third party number so they can do an online transfer. I have been in touch with said number (+91 [protected]) everyday since asking about the trasnsfer and they keep delaying and avoiding it. It has not been done till date. I even wrote a strongly worded mail to swiggy but no reply from them as they have abandoned any responsibility for this incident. No form of security and follow up by swiggy. Domino's should not be allowed to operate on online platforms if these franchised branches cheat people like this.

                                      We had ordered food from burgerwala located in mahipalpur vasant kunj delhi the food was uncooked unheigenic not eatable the chicken was almost raw smelling. Whn cld on shop and asked for the replacement or refund the shop owner completely refused on either way on top of it he was abusing language u can cal food inspector. Whn cld to coustmer care executive of swiggy the fone got disconnected in the middle of the conversation they disconnected we had tried several times the tlk to them and left msgs also but thr is no reply yet. This app is really disappointing they are concerned about the health of people just to run thr online business they have added anyone who is delivering food without heigene concern. I would say please check the shop before ordering neither the food shop persons nor the swiggy app concerned about the health of people nor there hard earned money wasted on such bad quality food

                                        The food came about 2 hours late and the person delivering the food called me up, made excuses and told me to call and ask for another delivery guy. The bags were torn and everything was wet and soggy and practically inedible. I talked to customer care 3 and was promised compensation which i have not received. I told the delivery guy to stay so i can talk to him but he gave the food at the gate and basically ran away. This took place on 8th of august and the order number was #[protected]. Swiggy truly knows how to drive customers away! I can't upload the pictures as the file size is too large but i do have them...

                                        I have placed a order on Swiggy on 30th July and the order failed and money got debited and when I asked for the refund they are saying the order didn't get placed they are unable to see it in their system. I have been eating my time every days following up them to get my refund but no response.
