Hi,
I am Talwalkars Solapur Gym member since feb-2020 and I hardly completed 2 months before lockdown. The gym has been sealed, they didn't notified whether they are going to resolve issue and reopen or going to refund. Also all of their contacts are not working. I wanted to know whether they are going to reopen or refund.

We had paid for a year membership December, 2019, in Bodakdev Talwalkars, Ahmedabad, gujarat. The gym was sealed from February for not able to pay the rent of the place. We have been trying to get in touch to get our money back. Noone has responded, the phones are not recieved. Kindly look into the matter and revert with a solution as soon as possible.

I am writing this letter with such a big disappointment caused to us from your Gym.
As Talwalkar is a big and name sake Gym and has many branches across the country. So people trust and get membership with the same trust. But it is very shameful and a disappointment to say that the trust has broken.. as I was the member in your gym.
My name is Gulista Shaikh, I took a membership in your gym on 2nd Jan, 2020 with the same trust, unfortunately did only for 2 months and since March, 2020 Covid affected our country and everything was shut, however now things has just became normal for all and I got a call from your gym that it has been reopened, but the condition was so pathetic, they directly said that you need to pay 7000 for 3 months and than u can get extension of 1 month extra which u have lost during Covid, I was so disappointed.
In other gyms everyone is getting a extension without paying anything and here in this big brand name sake Gym they are just fooling people by asking for more money and giving only 1 month extension.
I as a member is ashamed and disappointed to join here, simply regret.
Will ask the head to take a firm decision, so that people could trust and invest money accordingly, and not to fool people with such things.
I need a proper solution for this, else i will go to the higher level and will go on social media as well, it is not the matter of money, but a matter of trust and sentiments of people.

Paid for a full annual membership in last week of December 2019 at the mira road shanti park branch.after that, was told that the gym is shut for renovations.tried resolving issue but to no avail.

Hello team, I would like to bring to your notice that, one of your branches situated in Solapur Maharashtra, has been sealed in lockdown, inspite of the whole membership paid, the gym has fraud the customers by not returning the gym fees, i want your team to seriously look into it. Because i paid the the whole year membership and didn't utilize since lockdown.

Good afternoon.My name is Dhrumi Patel nd I joined your gym in july 2019 at the maninagar branch(Ahmedabad)but after joining 1 month gym was closed for some reconstruction or other issues they said it will be opened after some days we'll be in touch we will also inform you nd then 1 month 2 month 3 months left they didnt respond any of my calls my messages I went there at the gym but no one was there I tried to connect with my nutritionist who worked there but she didnt rly me I tried many times nd now it has been 1 year nd 4 months and that gym is permanently closed.I didnt get my money back so I m requesting you to plz pay attention to my problem nd give my money back.

I m expecting to get my money back for that unused gym bcz I joined your gym just bcz of your brand image nd I was sure that your gym facilities nd services will be the best nd now see what happend with me still I am looking for your positive response and as a customer I m hoping that after suffering so long at last you'll solve my problem.

I, Mr. Sunil Udawant & my wife have joint the talwalkar jim and the source of fees was EMI process by bajaj fainance but the jim was closed due to lockdown and now the jim has permanently closed so we want or fees return. And further EMI should be stoped.

Im omkar i joined talwalkars sangli branch with 1 year membership, and hardly after 2 months the lockdown was declared, and now its the situation that gym is closed, no one is responding not manager, staff member no one, even tried calling on your customer care phone no. But it didn't connect, so i want my refund, even i sent a complaint once before but no response, so help me with this, is still no one responds then i have to take some legal action against this in consumer court..

I am an Army Officer and I had enrolled along with my son in Talwalkar Gym in Kolkata( BE-72, Sector-1, Near Swimming pool, Salt Lake, PIN: 700091). The details are as follows:
1) Self: Brig Dr P S Moulick ( Date of Activation:17 Feb 2020. Validity upto:17 Jun2020). Amount paid Rs 8500. Facilities of gym utilised before lockdown on 25 Mar 2020:37 days. Refund amount:Rs 5879.
2) Son: Siddharth Moulick( Date of Activation: 11 Mar 2020. Validity upto: 10 Jul 2020. Amount paid Rs 9100. Facilities of gym utilised before lockdown on 25 Mar 2020: 14 days.Refund amount Rs 8038.
Total amount for refund to customer: Rs 13917.
Since past 9 months the gym is closed and no intimation has been given to the consumer as when it will open and also about the refund. If the gym is not opening then money should be refunded at the earliest.

transaction using my Citibank credit card
Rs. 9, 000.00 spent on card 6871 on 25-JAN-20 at TALWALKARS B.V.F. LT. Limit

So far the centre at Alwarpet is not opened and no refund was provided,

Can you let me know what is your plan now ?

I got my annual package, few months before the lockdown. Along with my personal trainer. Suddenly they said it has been shutdown. I need my money back

I enrolled for a year In the gym on jan 2020, but due to covid, the gym had to shut down, but after August we did not get any notification regarding the refund or anything, then i asked some people and i got to know that the gym has completely closed.i am enraged.they should atleast inform the people.i have also enrolled my mom, so we lost 25, 000 rupees.i went to the t.nagar branch, Chennai-600017

I joined talwalkers gym firstly for monthly membership then i took 12 plus 1 membership at 10000 rupees in month of january and then in 5 6 days i left due to personal reasons and then i told the manager and he said he will but then he said accountant is not ther or any other reasons then lockdown occured and now he is saying that it is not refundable.
And he also didnt gave me the receipt also.

Hey I paid a sum.of 22000 in March and the gym is closed even now.
I want a refund and also some response from the team.

Dear Concern, My name is Naga Kiran Manne I am client for Talwalkars, Vijayawada branch (Membership Id: 804760). I paid 2 years membership on 28th Feb 2019 (01st March 2019 to 28th Feb 2021) Invoice No: #AP/04/1819/2742. From March 2020 this branch is not opening and no one is responding. So please refund my amount or open the gym.

Membership paid in cash Rs 2500/- on 31/12/19 for 1 year but fitness centre closed in Feb 2020, still not opened.

Joined Power World fitness center on 30/12/2019 maintained by Talwalkars Fitness Solutions, vide 1 year Membership Application number 90089/5851 dtd 30/12/2019 and paid in cash Rs 2500/- for 12 months, but the center could give service for only one month and then it was closed, continuously following for refund but still not received.

My name is Elifeo Dcosta.
I had renewed my membership on Jan 14. And used it for just 2 months and the lockdown started in March.
After that the Talwalkars Chembur gym has not open in Chembur. Even when other gym has opened.
I have even tried calling them but they haven't received my call or responded on social media.
I don't think they are gonna open as I see news of it getting shut down.
I want a refund for the months that I have not used.
If I have to do a police complaint for the refunds kindly let me know.
I am sending the screen shot of my bill.
I require a response at the earliest
