With high regret to write this mail Myself Chetna desai I and my husband join your gym this is to inform you that dear neeta that i can't join the talvarkar for next one and half year due to my pregnancy ( high risk pregnancy ) and due to my high risk pregnancy my husband also can't continues your GYm b'coz there is no one Elder in my home to take care of me so due to that my Husband and me have take leave in Office So I request to you that give me extend of my GYm membership for next one and half years otherwise refund my deposit and this query already discusses with your senior staff but till date not revert so i hope you understand my invest money values

I am a member of Talwarkar, Ulubari, Guwahati. The changing room of the gym seemed to be in a very bad condition. The showers doesn't work. The Air condition in the ceiling is leaking. Basic things like soap is not available. The liquid soap they provide is filled with water and the bottle is so dirty that you don't feel like touching. After so many reminders, they bought slippers to be worn inside the changing room. However these slippers are also worn by the housekeeping staff. How disgusting? After paying such hefty fees, Talwarkars can't afford these simple facilities ?

Talwalkars gym located in Vazira Naka had taken Rs 20000/- from me promising me gym membership for 3 years on a full refund basis. The Gym closed down in a few months and we were asked to carry on our work out at their I.C. Colony branch. I was not in town for a few months. I just found out that the IC gym has shut down too. Their are two companies named Talwalkars one is a genuine one and the other one is the one that has . This is their website : http://www.talwalkarsgym.co.in/. commited fraud with us.

I had taken membership at talwalkar gym at jayraj nagar borivali west. Gym got closed and members were given option of refund.or to take a membership at there IC or chikuwadi location.But as those location were inconvinent for me i opted for refund of money.I was promised by director Mr.rahul Talwalkar that i wil bee refunded with money but still i have not recived any call from gym about refund.Please help for refund of my money.

I have taken Gym membership by paying Rs. 15000/- for 2 years under fixed deposit scheme at Talwalkar's Charkop, Knadivali branch. Talwalkars have mentioned that at the end of 2 years they will pay Rs. 15000/- back as this is fixed deposit only. However in July 2015, they have suddenly closed the Gym without informing anyone. The premises is locked and no one is there to hear our complaints as well. Please help in getting the refund from Talwalkars Gym.

I and my daughter joined Talwalkars Gwalior in the month of November 2014 for 1 year.Continuously we are complaining for the loud music, I am a patient of migraine and this type of noise cause hearing impairment, hypertension, ischemic heart disease, annoyance, and sleep disturbance. Continuously I am complaining for the low music. I made many complaints on their websites also but no reply. It is a punishment for me to going to the Gym. I requested them to refund our money back if they can't do anything in this case.I am trapped there because they had taken the money for one year and not considering my health problem.

I am vimal bharatbhai patel. I am from surat (Gujarat) . I have a complaints for - talwalkars fitness solution pvt. Ltd. (L p savani road - surat branch)
Date 17 / may / 2013 talwalkars fitness (L p savani road - surat branch) offered me a membership plan 25000 / - rs deposit for 3 years and after 3 years they will give back full payment (25000 / - rs) . It was a 100% refundable deposit plan.
Date 18 / may / 2013 i submitted deposit amount (25000 / - rs) by icici bank cheque (Cheque no 076757) and joined membership for 3 years. And they given me a refundable deposit bond.
My membership will be over at 17 / may / 2016 but i am registering complaints today. Because talwalkars fitness (Surat branch) is closed from last 4 months. The reason is they didn't paid gujarat electric board's bill and electric company cuted all the power line.
I am trying to contact with owner and authorise person from last 4 months but they are not receive any call and i am so tired now.
This is a very big scandal because they have more then 1400 registered members in surat branch. Please help me. I urgently need back my refundable deposit.

I use to go to talwalkars gym in juhu with myself kavi k shah and my mom mayuri shah my mom and i had initially signed up for membership of 3 months respectively (feb march april 2014 then renewed for a year which later on started from august because i had vacations in my college from may to mid of august)for both o[censored]s and later on i opted for personal training of 50 sessions with gym trainer kunal polekar later on our 3 months membership expire and we bought yearly member ship for both o[censored]s on last year of august i.e. 2014 and is valid till 2015 in the mean while while doing the gym we had specified that we do not stay in mumbai permenatly i had come up for my studies and my mom also come along to help me with my daily work. so according to their rules the 50 sessions of personal training which i had bought up had validity of a year but they had promised us that they would not consider validity for us as i wood not be there for four months wud be going to my town for vacations later on during the month of february they told us that my validity of sessions has expired and i wood have to renew though we argued with them that time but they dint consider it later on i had to renew them for 25 sessions more in the mean while my personal trainer left the gym and i was not able to attend gym regularly due to burden of studies later on the gym manager told me that your trainer has left and we will provide you with another trainer. that time i had completed 50 sessions with mr kunal when he left so i told them that refund my money but they said strictly no we wouldn't do that then by any chance i had to take time and go to gym and merely i was able to complete only 5 session out of the 25 with the new gym trainer whom i was comfortable with to bring to notice my mom had also purchased a massage pack worth rs 10000 . now the point is my studies are over and i m travelling to uk and nominee saying in mumbai we tried contacting the manager but he never comes on phone and there is a worst salesman with such a poor attitude towards customer mr prashant and mrs ritali so i requested them to refund the remaining amount of 20 sessions or convert them to membership at my vapi talwalkars on the name of my mom or dad. i m waiting for reply soon orals m taking this case to consumer court because i m being duped by this talwalkars people

I have a membership at the Hubli (Karnataka) branch dated 4.2.2010 to 3.3 2011 which I had taken when I was trying to get pregnant and the manager had told me in case I conceive then I can either join back whenever i can or I can transfer it. I have paid the same amount at that time what they are charging now. But now when I requested for transfer they are refusing, as the staff has changed. This is totally appalling and I am very upset. Please take action

Talwalkars gym is a fraud!
Talwalkars gym located at borivalli, wazira naka, mumbai cheated us.
I paid them rs. 20, 000/- under fixed deposit scheme that is refundable.
I joined on 18th march, 2013 and they said that they would return my money in one year.
I was shocked to see that the gym shut down abruptly and nobody is responding to phone calls or emails.
I hope some action is taken.

I had bought an annual membership of Rs. 25000 in the Hyderabad branch on 1 September 2014. Reg. # 4054642. Soon after I was diagnosed with lung problem & breathing/ asthma attacks, and expressed my wish to discontinue due to health issues. I have been following up with the team at Hyderabad regarding the refund (I don't have anyone to whom I can transfer the membership to). I have also submitted all medical documents & reports to prove my case. It has been 8 MONTHS since I have been going to & fro with this, with no help or resolution to my case.

I am the member of Talwalkars Varanasi. I request u too kindly change the gym closing tym from 9.30pm to 10.00 pm. as its too early to close and sometimes we not get proper time for workout. And please take back this new rule that gym will be close on sundays. And The machines are also outdated kindly update some new machines in the gym as its been 5 years that we are using the old machines

Talwakars Gym, Akota Branch, Vadodara This branch is indeed the most inefficient branch of the Talwakars chains of gym.The staff at this place is useless.Moreover the gym has remained close since 14/5/15 in the name of maintenance without giving any proper notification to the members from which date the gym shall reopen.. None of the gym phone numbers are working, and the so called trainers cell phone aren't reachable. It would be very generous if the Talwalkar's take some action this time . Thank You

We have taken 3 membership (of family members) @ Rs.11K in month of August-2014. Immediately (1 week) after the purchase, we had to shift to other city where Talwalkar branch is not available. We have used Gyme service for only 5 sessions (work-out card attached with attendance) for 2 membership and 1 membership is totally unused (even measurement is not done). After several visits to the Talwalkar - Paldi Branch, still I am struggling with the refund process. Every time they are giving silly excuse like company policy. Finally I have done written application (attached). Hope the management can understand and proceed the application.

I am ankita shah from vadodara gujarat, I have taken membership for 1 year in FD scheme in 1st june 2013 what they said will give refund next year 1st june 2014 now in 15th july 2014 i have given application to give return my refund as per FD scheme they said we will give return in 3 months still my amount 15000 not get back and manager not answering my phone

I & 2 of my friends joined talwarkars, in the year of 2012 for 1 year at Vajira Branch (Borivali -west), but due to travelling time & office timing we were not in a position to continue .. We didn't continue for even a month & applied for refund - they said out of 16k you have paid 11 is refundable & that can only be refuded to you after 1 year of membership on end date in 3 months. It's been 1 and half year, we are continuously visiting their different branches, as now Vajira Branch is closed from last 1 year - and just like us there are 100s of peoples who's money is stuck . Talwarkars has bad reputation when it comes to refunding of money . After lot of visits, I got their general manager's number who's name is Alpa Patel ([protected]), everytime we call she didn't pick our call .. She calls back when we are at some of her branch and asking for refund to branch manager - they call general manager & she calls us. Every time we call, her only excuse is, our branch is close & we will resume work at new location - wait till that time, but when we ask her to refund our refundable amount as we are not going to continue further . She gives false promises that wait for 15 days I will refund your money for sure .. every 15 days she does same thing. There is no relation between our refund of money & opening new branches, so all those who should have got their money back should have received it on time . Else this peoples should stop this kind of frauds .. Even if I count 200 peoples money stuck at branch, 200 x 11, 000 = 22, 00, 000, 22 lac which is big amount they are not refunding from last 1 and half year . Similar is the story at all branches of talwarkars. I want consumer court should take some action on this kind of frauds & we should get refunds with interest on it properly - and should also compensate our travelling cost and time we spent for this every 15 days we have to visit their branch. We are ready for filing case against them, as just like we 3, their are many more peoples at all branches - number might be in thousands as well . My name is Dakshay Desai, & 2 of my friends are Dhaval Chotalia & Bhavik Nandani. We want consumer court to take strict action against this kind of frauds, in the favour of citizens of India .. As talwarkars holding branches across India.

Sir I, Sumit Arora (with id: 4091179) is a regular member of talwalkar gym Ambala city branch and I have a yearly membership of nutrition plan.According to your terms I will get atleast 2 sittings a month but it's been more than 6 months and they gave me only 2 sittings.neither they have a dedicated dietician who can guide me all the way. I am completely not satisfied with the service you branch is providing.Neither the staff sitting at your front desk is listening to my regular complaints. The way they talk to me and to other members is just hopeless, their behaviour is ridiculous, this way your team will not get new members for you. On my regular verbal complaints they have not taken any action, so I am writing a written complaint here.please take a strict action as early as possible. Abhishek From virar west was enroll with the talwakar virar east branch I took Talwalkar gym membership in May 2012 under Rs/- 10, 000 refundable Deposit skim and agreement was completed in MAY 2014. I notified them in writing in April 2014 that i don't want to continue membership please refund my deposit. Now almost a year and i didn't got my money back. Whenever i try to reach out to them either their phone is not reachable or they will not pick up and if i go to their office they say it’s under process and we will call you back in a week. I am following up since last JUNE no proper response. There are many members who are waiting for these checks. I am having Fix Deposit of Rs. 40000 for the period of 5 years at Talwarkar Gym, Virar(E), Maharastra, which was matured in last Feb-2014. So I asked to refund me the amount. The Gym manager said me to submit the xerox copy of the FD Receipt with a cancelled cheque and they will take 3 months of time to ECS the amount into my Bank account. So I waited and after 3 months period again they told me due to some problem, it will take another 3 months of time. After 6 months of time still now they are telling me to wait. Please help me and advise me what to do further.
