Hi respected,
Today morning service wire's has been burned due to short circuit.
Then i changed wires immediately and inform to eb office and line man also.. They told afternoon will come and see.. Again evening i went and asked but he replied tomorrow morning only will come and see like that..
Without power chikdrens old age persons how could sleep.

    I am a residence of svm nagar, ennore chennai-600057, for the past 1 month we are facing power cut regularly. During this summer month people suffers a lot. This power cut happening because of low quality spares, equipment's and very poor cables and transformers. We trying to lodge complaints regularly to the local eb station but they are fixing the problem temporarily but there is no permanent solution taken so far from eb side. Please involve this matter seriously to resolve it as soon as possible. We cannot allow daily power cut. If this happens continuously then residence of our village will return our eb card to our government.

      Can i know in the lock down i have received my bill which is too high. Can i know why its too high and why it was calculated total units and bill is also too high

        Dear sir,
        Location : tamilnadu, chennai, kodambakkam, pincode - 600 094.
        I am planning to purchase a 2nd hand flat and finalized all legal formalities. I observed that there was un-authorized flat built by builder and eb connection also provided to that un-authorized flat. As per cmda approved plan, this flat is not approved. What is the procedure to remove this connection? Does it affect the existing approved flats? Pls clarify.

            January month billing is 15350 and may month billing is 16710. So total billable units is 1360. But we have paid rs. 1010 (Units 460) on 7/4/2020. Current month bill amount shows rs. 5936 in which rs. 1010 paid on 7/4/2020 was not deducted from bill amount. Kindly clarify the bill amount and the actual amount to be paid this month.

                  When i check in the online my meter reading not updated from the previous value. Need to be updated. Picture shown below.
                  On 29/02/2020 reading value is 1330.
                  On 29/04/2020 how reading value remain same? It should be
                  1330 + 250 = 1580
                  I enclosed snap shot of my online portal for your perusal.
                  I hope you will amend the value.

                    I bring to your notice that we are unable to use even one 1ton ac in our house, the lights flicker and refrigerator is malfunctioning. We feel like living in a hamlet. Please do the needful to have a healthy power supply to avoid damage of equipment, avoid accidents.                       Dear sir,

                      We are from annur taluk, anbu nagar area. Last 3 days a huge power cut happend. We thought of some maintenance work in progress.

                      Now the problem is total power shut down almost 30 hours. May 28, 2020 power cut started & till now no power in my area. No response from anyone.

                      When we call eb office nobody pick the call. Few people said couple of poles damage during rain.

                      At the same time annur town, a big tree fell down and with in 4 hours issue got fixed. Why not fixed our area?

                      Not only this time. We are frequently facing this issue with eb folks eveytime.

                      Call center also does not help here.

                      Our area more than 200 families getting affected. Many people are doing working from home, many aged people impact during this time.

                      All eb official people, they are least bothering our area.

                      Can you please let us know when will get fixed??

                      We have received Power by May 29, 2020 @ 5.00PM .

                      Where as in Annur line was totally down due to a big Tree fell down on EB posts. with in 4-5 hrs it was ready.

                      However, in Anbu nagar Area, 11KV transformer was swiched off from May 28, 2020 @ 10.30AM and Power ON by May 29, 2020 @ 5PM.

                      We would like to know the real reasons for such a long shut down.

                      Is it the way to provide support to consumer?

                        For past one week from may 24 whole area is facing power cut whole night.. When we complaint to eb office they are saying they don't have enough supply to provide us.

                        They are telling to contact a. E and problem cannot be solved due to load

                                  I am amarendra prasad aged about 39 years at present residing at 34 kamaraj nagar 3rd street choolaimedu chennai 94 and i would like to lodge a complaint with respect to illegal name transfer of tneb service numbers “[protected]” & “[protected]” without me giving a "no objection letter".
                                  -
                                  The above mentioned tneb service numbers were originally under my father’s name (Late shri. C. Kadirvelu) who passed away on 24-aug-17. A year and half later on 28-aug-2019 my father’s property was partitioned at kodambakkam sro amongst 3 brothers (Legal heirs). As per the partition deed document the building falls under my allotted partition which i am going to retain it.

                                  Moreover, i am currently in possession of the house which as a ground floor with a hall, bedroom, kitchen and a bathroom and the first floor consist of 3 bedrooms, 2 kitchen and 2 bathrooms. On my father demise i have obtained the legal heir certificate from the egmore taluk office. There are 4 legal heirs inclusive of my mother.

                                  1. K. Nithyakalyani (Wife of deceased)
                                  2. K. Arun prasad (1st son of the deceased)
                                  3. K. Aravind prasad (2nd son of the deceased)
                                  4. K. Amarendra prasad (3rd son of the deceased)

                                  After the partition of my father’s property my elder brothers wanted to start the construction under their allotted partition of land for which i have not shown any objection. But they are planning to demolish the existing building which is constructed under my allotted partition. Till date they have not obtained any cmda demolition approvals neither and i have not signed any documents to give my approval for the building demolition.

                                  My elder brothers (1st and 2nd) have converted the 3-phase domestic electrical connection on 17-feb-2020 into a single phase and later to use the converted service line for their building construction purpose.

                                  I shall highly be grateful for an early action to make this name transfer void and share the details for the name transfers made for the two service numbers “[protected]” and “[protected]”.

                                  I had personally met the assistant engineer on 06-may-2020 @ 9:30 am and explained the issue and again handed over the hard copy of the complaint were he confirmed will check the dock number for the name transfer and will visit the site and will update me on the status.

                                  I have made multiple attempts to reach him with no success over mobile

                                  Prior to meeting the ae during the lockdown period i had sent my complain via register post to the assistant engineer, tangedco vigilance & the chairman. Attaching the acknowledgement received from post office

                                    In mangadu ar nagar plot no:26, 6 flats construction work ongoing which has only 4flats approval which belongs to psm nath the local eb persons gave them 3phase electricity connection for all 6flats and that building has litigation in police station and in court with local influence connections has been given please take necessary action

                                      The road side trees branches are grown and falling on the 4 power line open overhead wire and also touching the windows and balcony grills in near by building posing risk of shock and sparkling and also each line touching during
                                      Normal winds. These tree branches to be cut and pruned for safety of residents.
                                      The entire street has such trees branches felling on over head live lines
