I submit to state that the electricity overhead power lines were laid in all streets of tansi nagar, velachery about 20 years back and they become very old due to wear and tear. They are being affected frequestnly due to heavy reains in the area with danger to general public and residents. At tansi nagar area several thousands of people are residing and several hundreds of students are using the tansi nagar area to attend the classes at saint antony, bethel and dav public schools which are situated here.
Further vehicle population is increased at tansi nagar area due to above schools. Considering the above we request concerned tneb officials to convert the old overhead power lines in to underground at our area to avoid accidents during rainy seasons.

    Sir,

    My consumer number is [protected].
    Yesterday (18.12.2019) they have taken eb reading and our used unit is 510 and charged rs. 1846/-. Not only this they have charged rs. 8, 049/- as cc arrears.
    In bill if we check they have mentioned it as online discrepancy.

    Eventhough we pay the amount promptly no idea why they have charged this arrears amount.

    Uncessarily harrasing common people by charging this much excess amount. As arrears.
    Trying to contact the eb persons but no response from their end. Our sd available (Rs.) 10718
    Kindly take necessary action and solve our issues.

      Dear sir,
      I am residing at no 2/288e pandiyan street paramakudi ramanathapuram district, opposit subregistrar office near jeevan hospital
      Now eb post is located in the corner of plot mr. Balakrishnan without disturbing anyone. Due to self convenience and twowheeleer parking for plot owner they planned to shift from original place to,
      3feet to left side and 3 feet to front (Road)
      This will affect public transportation and give safety issues. It will disturb 4 wheeler and other emergency vehicles. Constructing road or drainage work will be very difficult.
      Above all it gives life threatening to our family and safety issues.
      The pole is newly replaced and no disturbances to any one.
      As you know very well forwarding non disturbance pole for a silly reason and selfish reason for a single person which will affect public and other neighbor that to in the road is not acceptable.
      They already dig hole for shifting pole. Already spoken to foreman, ae in this regard.
      I request you to kindly intervene in this issue and stop further process and ensure safety for all

        I got a bill amount email on nov 22, 2019 as rs. 0 (Bill date:[protected]. I have waited for a few days and amount not corrected so 10 days before i went to eb office directly and they said that is their mistake (Wrongly entered previous month reading so the system automatically calculated used units as 0, so the bill amount is rs. 0) and i'm ready to pay the bill at spot but they advised me to do online once the bill was uploaded. From that time i have been checking the web portal but the bill not updated so i thought `ok they will adjust it next month` but today i got an email with the correct amount but the bill date is same as (Bill date:[protected] and if i go to pay it online cc arrear rcfees rs. 100 automatically adds up.

        How can it be my mistake? Why do i need to pay extra without my mistake? Please resolve this.

          We have improper current flow for the past 2 days. Written a complaint at eb office on thursday i. E, 12.12.19. They gave one contact number for this complaint. I don't know his name. We are calling him 2days he is saying i will come i will come, but not coming. Totally dissatisfied with eb helpline. Worst service. Eb number 2551 name sundar.             Dear team,

            We are living in no:425 classic apartment all of sudden the common eb-bill was raised from rs 2500 - rs 12604. Immediately we checked with the local eb office simply it was said they missed the reading for 6-7 months only approximate bill was passed for 6-7 months.
            This was happened due to human negligence of tneb staff.
            Impact what we faced:
            People in the apartment not accepted to pay, after so many meetings & explanation finally we settled that amount.
            My humble request to kindly ensure these kind of issue should not repeated in future. Unnecessary stress due to simple human error of tneb staff.

              My E. Meter reading as on 30/09/[protected] .after that no EB person was came and took reading in my home

              I have noticed only after I received huge amount of 10162 rupees, I was shocked and I had made a complaint on this directly visited to EB office Incharge /AE, at Puzhal but no proper response.

              They said you have used electricity so you have to pay this amount like that they said but I couldn't pay such a huge amount.. even I said I never used electricity such a unit 1700 like that
              They can check my history of billing Last 3 years too, still they are not respond my complaint


              I couldn't pay this huge amount 10162

              and please do the needful

              They said they will disconnect my eb connection on 17/12/19

              Kindly take necessary action on this

                Tneb brought one big cable spool with cable for use in trasformer errection in our flat.But even after completion of works the empty spool is not removed which poses hinderence and place for piling up of garbage.
                I am extreamly distrubed low voltage supply in my hose, if i make call to TNEB my area line / office is not responded.

                  From people of kannappasamy nagar, kavangarai, puzhal chennai 66, the eb poles are much older, and completely damaged and eb lines are crossing on the compound walls of houses, mainly in 15 th street, the complaint has been informed many times, bit no serious action has been taken or poles had been changed/repaired, expecting the eb department to take the action.

                    Bill generated without taking meter reading for last 3 bills i. E. Meter reading as on 16.11.2019 was 4031, while the bill reading as on 30.08.2019 was 4060 and as on 31.10.2019 was 4440. I had made a complaint on this to ae, at hosur, but no response. Kindly take necessary action on this and do refund the money which i had paid for excess bill.
                    With reference to the above complaint, ie-shobana (Mobile no. [protected]) had inspected the meter on 22.11.2019 and noticed that the bill generated without taking meter reading. And also ae closed the online complaint without proper response.
                    Please let me know the action taken on this and refund status of the money which i had paid for excess bill or penalty on the same at the earliest.

                      They didn't give proper solution for my resident power cut. 1 day completed no power here. I calls more than 20 times. No response from their end. More time that costumer care number was in switch OFF mode. And one more thing they taken drinks while they are in duty. Shame on this. That is not a matter but they treat us like a dog. Think, how we stay without power.

                          Even the transformer in this street is not maintained.
                          Kindly look into thia issue..
                          As i keep reading that tneb has planned to change rural overhead lines to underground.. But this is a city and water lodges here. For god sake before the wire cut down and make this street famous in news. Kindly look into the issue and take necessary actions

                              I am receiving sms about bill payment to sc. No: [protected] to my phone [protected].

                              I no longer live in india, and am an nri. I wanted to know who is using my phone number, as everytime i receive this msg, i am irritated, and airtel international roaming charges me rs. 25, for no fault of mine.

                              I have already reported this issue in october, yet i dont see it resolved.

                              I live near sriram shankari apartments, annai menakshi nagar, thangapapuram, Guduvanchery. Every time there is a small amount of rain, they cut the current. Very hard for a family with a new born. Obviously they don't care. Hope they face some trouble when they are in need. Nasama ponga da.
                              We are building a new house, size of the site is too less so we are not able to build a house not close to Electric post. So we want the electric post to move little front as it is a very big street road. Electric post looks dangerous from balcony

                                    I'm from ambalakalai near mancode, a village in vilavancode taluk of kanyakumari district. Our eb office is located at kullithurai near marthandam. There has been frequent power cuts in our area for years. Now its started to happen in the middle of the night!!!. Its never been properly rectified. Even though our area is decently populated, the absence of any highly politically influential people made it more difficult to get help in proper time during emergency situations... Why am i saying this? Because that's how tamilnadu electricity board treats its consumers - ur place should have more rich and politically influential people or the electricity guy should live in ur area to get help in time. Our area has lots of students, working and older people. I can't remember a single examination period (School and college years) without power failure. When complaining, it mostly takes lot of time to fix the issue. Recently when tried to complain about power failure to the office, they openly said that the line man is nowhere to be found and he has kept his phone switched off... Seriously... What kind of response is that??? Why are these people getting paid? Most of the time no one answers the call and when they do they give ridiculous reasons. When confronting our area lineman (Who lives in kullithurai) about issues regarding tree branches growing over the powerlines in a particular place, he said that he will rectify it after the branch falls over the power lines and once during power failure he said that he is tired and will rectify the problem the next day and we had to deal with an entire night without power!!!... Tired? Really? During work time? Some of the areas have lower hanging power lines that makes it dificult for taller vehicles like trucks to be driven through the road. When during scheduled power cuts usually during saturdays (This is how the electricity board in villages rectify problems... By cutting power on a day for 8hrs between 9:00am to 6:00pm), which when they should rectify issues. Even those days the power comes back after 7:00pm. We tried to complain to the eb office, no actions seemed to be taken. The only thing they are good for is to get the bill amount. Even now i am sending this message during a midnight power failure.

                                    The power had became more unstable and fails continuously in the morning. In the evening they make it seems like the problem has been rectified by not cutting power for sometime and at midnight, the power is gone again. This routine nature leads me to believe that they are doing it themselves

                                      Hello concern incharge...! This is an student from pozhichalur locality... There is frequent power cut in my area for the past 2weeks... This does make us to suffer during our exam preparation times... And the worst part is that the eb office's response is also very very poor for this issue...! So kindly do take some action to overcome this issue in my area!

                                      Hello. Im a working women from pozhichalur location. June 21, 2022 at night the power supply not given. I have a 11 month old son he is not sleep well. So, kindly take some action for this. Its is very difficulty survive.

                                        This is to inform you that for this meter connection[protected] there was no consumption from april 2019 to september 2019 since the occupant was away to us. At the time of taking reading on 5.9.19 the meter reading shown as 8310 units and the charges was nil only (Meter reading 8310 units). But on 22.11.2019, again a reading was noted in the card as 8780 units that seems to be alright as the power is consumed now. However, on this day i was called by alwarthirunagar eb office and was informed that the fuse was removed due to non-remittance of eb charges but was switched on the switch without the payment and they considered it as “theft “and i was forced to pay an amount of rs. 6940/- as fine. But their statement is not correct, because the fuse was neither removed nor re fixed after payment and this was confirmed by them also but they could not give a clarity on this issue. Therefore, i request you to investigate the matter and give a fair decision because the statement of “theft” has mentally harmed us. Because this is not real. For your information, i state here that individual carrier is provided for each meter.
