Even for small drizzling, they cut the power supply and do not respond to our queries properly if enquired. With small babies in our house, it is difficult for us to manage. Kindly do the needful asap as this issue is getting worse day by day...

    We are residing in selaiyur, chennai. We have been subject to either frequent power cut daily for 1-2 hours or low power supply, regardless of the time, which might be during midnight also.     I complained about the disconnection of service on 1 month before but there is no response from eb
    One day full night my area was sleepless and kids are sick from her the rain stoped at 11pm but 9pm to morning 9am to current will be my area was trichy ambikapuram and eb line office is ariyamangalam eb as not proper service it's very very poor
    There is no current in vasantha nagar ramnathapuram.. Please take the necessary steps

      Because of the transformer near my home we have so much of problem like transformer burning /bursting etc, and the wires from the transformer is left open in road and crossing my home openly. For which s very danger for the kids there. Today they broke my entrance just because they are passing wire near my entrance. Why so much thick wires are passed near residence that too without even hiding. This ill really create risk for others too

        Hi I had paid tneb bill payment from mobikwik on 1st of october 2019 for 2 consumer nos ie[protected] the amount is Rs:830/- transaction id: MK[protected] and[protected] the amount is Rs:470/- transaction id is: MK[protected] both amount was debited from my account but not cleared in tneb. As the last date is on 3rd october i had paid once again from tneb website and the amount was cleared. When i checked in tneb website the 2nd paid amount only cleared as the receipt no is PGNHDF10388363 amount 470/- payment date Thu, 3 October 2019 09:31 and PGNHDF10388463 amount 830/- payment date Thu, 3 October 2019 09:39 as i paid it through hdfc netbanking. if the mobikwik amount also credited in tneb means it will show in advance amount but the advance amount also 0. So the payment paid via mobikwik was not cleared. I had complained in Mobikwik after verifying they replied as payment has been settled from there side and asked to verify with operator (ie in tneb) i had complained in tneb they are replying as transaction successful based on bank statement. iam asking for 2 payments but they are replying as same. (FROM BANK BOTH AMOUNT ON BOTH DAYS DEBITED, IN MOBIKWIK THEY SAYS THEY HAD SETTLED THE PAYMENT, IN TNEB THE SECOND PAID PAYMENT ONLY CLEARED, WHAT HAPPEN TO PAYMENT PAID ON 1ST OCTOBER.) so please verify it and do the needful for getting back my amount. contact:+91-[protected] mail id:[protected]@gmail.com.

          Myself hariharan from porur i have received my electricity bill for this month amount of rs.4420/- last bill i have received 2220/- there is drastic increase in my electricty bill in which we dont have even ac also i am doubting that may be my eb meter is not working properly or there may be other issues... I have given complaint in eb office but there is no response do check and kindly do needful.

            I am dr kannapiran, a nri economic advisor in australia, the chairman of the management committee for the sri kannapiran temple in tisaiyanvillai and managing our family properties in that temple precinct.

            This is regarding illegal power connection inside our private property at the request of one mr. A. Perumal against whom fir (Fir no: 59/2019) has been filed by thisaiyanvilai police for trespassing and damaging the private family property. He is now on bail. There were previous criminal records on mr a perumal. He has been trying by hook or crook and got eb power connection on a temporary wall inside our property with an intention to land grapping.

            I already submitted several complaints to the ee, se, ee and ae valliyoor including the last one on 18 october 2019. I also send all the complaints copy to je karthick tisaiyanvillai and talked to him over phone not to entertain any power connection by a. Perumal or by any illegal landgrapper like him. The ee valliyoor eng rajan raj in his letter a. No: 1194/19 dt 20/7/2019 (Copy attached) that there is no application entertained or connection considered.

            My complaints are:

            A. Tneb je karthick tisaiyanvillai and his staff tress passed into our properties without our permission or any notice to us as the property owner. We reserve the right to file a criminal case of tress passing by eb je and his staff into our property.

            B. Tneb has also installed an eb meter in our sur no: 240 on the wall of our father cemetry (Cemetery wall - photos attached) and given power connection (Service no:[protected] inside our property without our knowledge and in spite of our repeated complaints. Previously the je karthick verified all our documents and promised to us he will never give power connection to our property without a request from us. I also learnt je karthick is in the practice of giving illegal connection.

            C. The jm court valliyoor (Cases no: 6/90 and 4/91 of 28.10.1991 in the high court of madras (C. R. P. 2730/1993),) and passed a judgement that sri kannapiran temple/ramanujakoodam is a private family temple and owned independently by the family of late chinna arjuna yadavar alone. This information we already emailed to you and all your offices including je karthick

            Remedies sought without prejudice to criminal and civil suits:

            A. Within 3 days of this notice to arrange to disconnect the power connection and remove the power line crossing our private properties and remove the eb meter board etc.

            B. To take disciplinary action against je karthick for tress passing and illegally given power connection and for having damaged the cemetry wall and insulted the soul of our late father sri chinna arjuna yadavar.

            C. An undertaking in writing by the eb that they will not interfere with the peaceful possession of properties without encouraging any land grapper through eb connection.

            I look forward to hearing from you before we proceed with other legal remedies.

              My eb no:[protected]
              I have purchased a property in second-hand during may 2018. I was advised by
              He previous owner that this was vacant post dec 17. There was a faulty neutral which was duly changed. While he has comlained earlier about charge levy during apr 2018 that the house was vacant, tneb has denied for admisson of anything and levied him some charge in apr 2018.

              Now after 1 year i am shocked to see my bill with an arrear charge of rs. 15864. I am told this is average levy for dec17 to feb 18, while this should be levied : a. Not to me and to previous owner at the time of change in ownership
              B. While there is no unit consumption the levy itself is adhoc considering that this remained vacant at that point in time
              C. Upon raising complain in tneb portal this was closed without actually doing anything

              The poll infront of my house is damaged heavely it can fall any time please the TNEB please look in to it and repair it . It has already been a month .
              We are residing in No-38, Boulevard Villa, Thirutheri, Singaperumal Koil, Chennai-603204.

              The power supply has gone from yesterday 14th October, 2019 till now for 2 streets in our villa. The phase has gone in transformer, due to which there are no power supply.

              Kindly, take necessary actions as people are suffering water problem.
              We are residents of casa grand elan community.

              We house numbers C 27 to C 34 has no power supply in 2 phases for more than 15 days.

              EB persons keeping on giving excuses.

              No refrigerator/ No Washing machine .

              No way to keep milk for small babies.

              Understand the pain of consumers and fix it soon

                      Sub: Complaint on wrong bill amount for the month of August-September 2019. No action taken on my complaint, I directly met Madipakkam AE on 14-Oct-19 and submitted the attached complaint copy.

                      Ref: Electricity connection consumer no.[protected]

                      I am currently residing at 17/1 Bajanai Kovil Street, Madipakkam, ch-91, which is having electricity connection bearing consumer no.[protected], Saturday (12-Oct), I was shocked to receive the current electricity bill (520 Units) for an amount of (Rupees 1912). My monthly electricity bill amounts generally range between Rs 170 to Rs 220. The bill for this month October 19 is almost 10 times, of my regular bills.

                      I investigated the matter from my side to find out the error and I noticed that the meter reading unit for the current bill is showing more units the current meter reading which is impossible.

                      Units as per last billing: 200 Units (Reading no.: 10870) - Please note that the previous month reading was measured by my father (69 age) due to no reading taken from the EB department. This has happened to my entire home in my street.

                      Current meter reading units: 520 (Reading no. : 11390)

                      Average unit for the month of Oct-2018 to July-2019: 180 to 250 Units.

                      I am not in position is to pay Rs 1912, this is a very high amount in my monthly planning budget. The due date of the current billing is 30-Oct-19. Kindly consider my request and do the needful.

                        We reside in porur, kolapakkam. There is newly constructed flat near our house. The eb line to their house passes through our house. The eb line which is supposed to go underground lies above the ground level and is not safe. The pvc pipe surrounding the cable was already burned a little. Even after multiple complaints the flat members nor the local eb office does not take any action. The flat members bribe the local office people to avoid working on it. Please take immediate action as this line is not safe especially during the rainy seasons

                          He is the complaint about the person "name parthasarathy", he is assigned person for bharathidasan nagar second street, ramanathapuram, coimbatore - 641045.

                          Including shutdown day, he is interrupting the connection from transformer in all weekdays, and often he does, he is not following the protocol. He switch off according to his own wish.

                            I reside in naduveerapattu, chennai 600069, its usual they do maintenance shut down and we are okay with it! But our street avvayaar street, ramji nagar, naduveerapattu, chennai 69, usually the power cut lasts the entire night! There are infants in the houses and we residential members lose our sleep the entire night! We try calling the office they never pick the call, may be because it is the night time that this usually happens! According to consumer rights protection act and article 14 we have been deprived of our basic rights! If this is not addressed i will make sure i will elevate the problem to the higher authorities or judiciary! I am awaiting a good response from thy office!

                              I am from perambur, cooks road area, as there is cable fault in around my houses 20 families are suffering in often powerful. So, we requested the event to fix our issue by providing mini pillar, the board said no mini pillar stock, they gave a contact number to buy mini pillarfor around rs.10300 then we build the pillar in a place with prior permission from the house, now the board still delay to give the connection, kindly help us to solve the issue.

                                Hello sir,
                                I am residing at nanmangalam, vellakal chennai 600129. There is an unplanned power cut in our area since from morning 10 am. When i try to call them first they did not even pick my call and respond me properly. Always i could here a voice that line is busy.

                                I would request you please arrange some person who should take up the call from the public if there are any power issues in their area. We are not asking to solve this issue permanently. Atleast we need them to respond back to our query on time.

                                  Eb meter reading person invoked that one of our meter is not functioning and put the highest average value for the consequent respective months and i have paid that amount last month that is september and raised a complaint to the ae and he directed to another person, who said that within october 16th that meter will be repaired and will be getting correct amount, but so far no action has been taken and the meter has not be repaired so far. Hence i request you to consider this issue as a serious concern and solve my problem. My cell number[protected].

                                    I'm from perambur agaram.in our area daily power cut for more than one hour during night time. Because of that, we are getting irritate and also getting spoil of going office and also kids suffering to go school on time by next day.

                                      I am stayed anumanthapurm village. My area electric current all time low voltage. My electronic item repair for low voltage reason. 8 street one transform is supply in current that is low voltage problem. All home electronic item not working.

                                      My home fans not working in night time. My area people struggle low voltage problem in night time.
