Here is my experience, on my recent trip to chennai, i went to kotturpuram eb office for name transfer. Ae incharge made me to visit the office for two consecutive days and then took rs.2200 money from me for two consecutive times. I was hoping that 2000 was something deposit and 200 was name transfer fees. On the day when we went to get the name transferrred card, got only receipt for 200 rupees and realized that 2000 was bribe. Even though i have produced all the right documents, had to pay 2000 as bribe.

Today in jayankondam there is no power supply from morning 8.00am till now 11.30pm night. How come people can carry-on their daily routine. Children are suffering unable to sleep

    Sir, power supply to my house experiencing voltage fluctuation for the last seven months-observed since early december 2016.

    For information we are using a stabiliser for refrigerator got burn two months ago. We got it repaired at a electronics shop in near by town. Due to unstable power between 1800 hours to 2130 hours the stabiliser does not feed power to refrigerator. Other than the time mention above stabiliser function normal.

    Further a table top grinder do not pull due to suspected fluctuation too.

    Kindly do needful to restore stable power supply.

      Sir,

      I applied for solar rooftop panel in feb 2017. It was duly approved and installed at my house at the above address in march 2017.

      I paid for the net meter in full in april 2017. The net meter has not been supplied despite my follow up at all levels.

      I spent rs 1.5 lakhs (One and a half lakhs) believing the promise of savings every month and also due to my interest to preserve the environment.

      After approving my application under the scheme and making me spend 1.5 lakhs of my hard earned money, tneb has not connected the system to the grid, which has resulted in financial loss as well mental agony. If there was any policy decision pending, tneb must not have approved my application. It is “promissory estoppel” which is illegal.

      The act of not supplying the net meter even after receiving full payment is deficiency of service as defined by the consumer protection act.

      I request you to supply the net meter and connect the solar system to the grid within a week, failing which, i will be constrained to approach the consumer court.

        I am manikandan, i am residing at no. 83a nethaji nagar 4th street, tondiarpet chennai.

        I have given a representation to ae in the regional eb service station on last one year before which is located in power house.

        During last two years ago the eb employees and foreman had come to my street at eb junction box and fixed a new cable line to another junction box which is nearby 50 feets approx,

        After fixing of the new cable line they had not fixed the cable line in under the earth. As an advocate i told them in simplest way to ae at eb station by giving representation to act the work expeditiously but since as of now on 15/7/17 till they have not come forward to fixed the cable line as possible. Hence in the mean time rains suddenly come and go. So your good self may direct them to fix it properly under the earth in order to avoid any dangerous things may not happened in future.

        And i also submit that the eb personnel during power cut connection they have not come properly and fix the matter for just temporarily solve the problem by screwing th wires and gives connection.in such a way the common man could do this. So that would also may be do it by them right care to the welfare of the people in a calm way.

            My eb meter no.[protected]. The house with this eb no. Is vacant. A meter reading of 590 units has been recorded by eb dept. And an amount of rs.2374/- due to be paid by me. Even as i got the alert of the meter reading, i have complained to the eb people at velachery, but they are not taking any action to cross check the details. The excess reading should be cancelled and amount minimum to be paid by me.

All the others in my flat have confirmed that their details are getting displayed correctly. Nit sure why this is happening with my number alone. We always do online payment and have not faced an issue earluer. We only received cc charge recently but not actual bill detail with units of consumption. Can you please help this getting resolved at the earliest.

                  We have installed Solar 2KV in our house. Install months the meter reading was taken correctly .Past two times the meter reading was not taken correctly the amount is coming very high. When we asked the local EB office they ask us to pay the amount first and they will look into it. But same thing is happen this time also. This time also they ask us pay the amount first. Iam sure they wont take necessary action this time also. Please look in to this mater urgently and reimburse the amount ASAP.

                    Dear sir,
                    My electricity bill for consumer no: [protected] was wrong generated.
                    The meter reading is not exceeding more than 100 units monthly, which is of free. But i have already paid rs.8957 towards the wrong bill generated.

                    When i raised this issue with the eb office (Perumbakkam), they said until the meter reading doesnot reach this wrong meter reading, i will not be charged.

                    Since, my meter reading is not crossing 100 units monthly, iam not charged, but the amount i have paid will go waste.

                    Kindly help me to get the amount reimbursed towards my account.

                      We stay in anakaputhur for past 40 years, frequently power failure happened 5 years ago they used to transformer not giving load. The same problem occurring again and daily night from 10 clock to 5 clock the power being switched off. While call them they used to say transformer problem and it will be rectified tomorrow but not repaired for the past two weeks. Kindly take nesseary action.

                        Power cut in sunguvarchatram

                        Complaining from molachur in sunguvar chatram, for the last three days we are facing power cut issui in only our street in molachur all the other streets having power. We have a little babies in our home, for a whole day we are waited for power supply but no response from your team, it is horrible to say without power how can we manage in night. Kindly take this a serios issue in our area otherwise this will be treated as more sensitive issue....

                        i had converted my EB connection from sinfle phase to 3 phase . The EB dept had promptly given the 3 phase conection, but have not coorceted their records which still reads as single phase. for this reason im unable to pay my EB bill. can the concerned EB personnel rectify this problem.                             Hopefully writing this for some good change and solution to my peoples !!
                            Sir . I'm residing in Stanley nagar, Chennai -600021. I like to register a complanit towards TNEB . My peoples frequently, no I'm sorry they are daily facing power cut problem after 10 Pm in our locality and we are following EB people's on daily basis for a permanent solution which is never happened . The prettiest thing is my house is equiped with three face and still we face the same problem . So kindly take a immediate action and give us a permanent solution for this problem . Really we are facing a hard time after 10 without power . Do consider us and take the necessary action at earliest ..

                              Even for a light rain power cut.
                              Install efficient equipment for uninterrupted power supply. As a regular payee of EB bills on time, all govt taxes (state & central), hope we deserve a comfort living. Please do not torture people with such power cuts and make fools. Thanks.

                                I am a resident of TINA PRIYA Apts, Jayaparvathi Nagar, Kolathur. Since last 2-3 months we are facing voltage problems during nights between 2200hrs and 2400hrs. A complaint on this regard submitted to puzhal electricity office over phone as well as lodged online through login but no action taken, whereas replied as rectified. Since matter has not resolved, approaching you to take necessary involvement as its too hot and A.C is not working during the above time.

Have tried all customers complaint numbers available on internet but none of the calls are getting connected. I don't where to complain for this. Due to this I am missing my alarm every day and going late for office.. More than that waking up daily at midnight in half sleep.

                                    Everynight we have no sleep bcoz of powercuts in my area roomscapes thalambur. And here power fluctuations are more and most of the time we get low power. Other streets are having power but in my roomscapes apartment there is no power. Every night we r facing the same prblm now also we have no power we r software employees we want to take rest at ni8 time bcoz of these powercuts how can we sleep.                                       The voltage is 140 V instead of 230 V. Lights and fan flicker all night which is a nuisance. I have called the sakthivel nagar EB office but no response, they told they will send an employee to attend the complaint after lunch. But, lunch is not over yet. I have also complained in person. Why is this delay to attend the customer services? Kindly do the needful.

                                      The high voltage fluctuation was due to the neutral wire that was cut in the mains. After the neutral wire was connected the voltage started to be normal. I thank you for replying back.

                                      I Am T. Visvanathan from Thalaiyarikkudikkadu village, Kadugur post, Ariyalur district.
                                      My village people all are struggling due to poor voltage suppose to be 220v forall house connection but here just only receiving 140 to 150v so here fan or lights can’t on properly and also house borewell motor too.

                                      Hello Sir, Ma'am,

                                      I am Gunaseelan from Melanallur Village which is located in Mayiladuthurai Taluk.Nagapattinam District. This is regarding very long pending issue for a decade now in getting new transformer to divide agriculture service connection in my village. There is a process in place to control three phase power availability already, In a day we generally get only 12 to 16 hours. But due to over load during every cultivation period, it is even further reducing the availability of the three phase current. Our EB office which is located in Nidur. We every time approach them with group of farmers. They will convince us stating they will add new transformer and divide the load shortly. They will also tell they yet to receive materials for the new transformers and they expect to receive shortly. As a time being fix, they used to send a line man who will visit and route powers one area in a day time and other area in night time. But again it is in his control. he will do it on his own availability. Will not properly route it. So every year we are facing this trouble and suffer badly as we are unable to maintain enough water in cultivated lands.

                                      We kindly request you to take it into the right people and fix this issue as early as possible.
