    As per our 1912
    Complaint no 835 dated 17/06/2016.
    Complaint no - 527 dated 18/06/2016
    Complaint no - 63 dated 20/06/2016

    Complaints:
    Cable fault – no power, neuteral power is there, 3 phase not working, high /low voltage problem.
    Eb person did for temporarly connection for one connection last 3 days. But still that cable fault – no power,
    Neuteral power is there, 3 phase not working, high /low voltage problem is not solved till date
    We did so many calls to main office also regarding the complaint for not having 3 phases,
    Only to our building. Rest of all area having power in our area.

    Even neutral power supply is there.

    This problem we are facing from last 4 days till date.

    Please take action immediately to solve this problem.

    At home patient are there. So please help.

      Consumer no.[protected] I am the house owner of 9 olivers road. LL holder Smt rajeswari owes me more than Rs.2 lacs after deducting her deposits and lawyers are following up the case. She is due more than 3 months electricity dues to the board. As per rules power should be cut when dues exceed one month. But staff are not cutting the power and the lady is expected to leave the premises by month end. By your not cutting the power the lady leaves any power dues I have to hold Board only responsible as the power has not been cut inspite of our requests. On earlier occassion also when the power was cut by the board the lady resorted to illegal connection and a cut at the pole itself was done by the board on our request. The lady then paid the fees. Please note any bad debts on account of power dues I have to proceed only against the board as the lade is likely to runaway.

      I am the house owner of 9 olivers road and have rent the house on lease and licence basis to one MRs. Rajeswari, She is due after adjusting her deposits more than Rs. 2 lacs and lawyers are following her up. She has not paid electricity dues for more than 3 months and still her line is not cut. Even following up with you in email the officer has not taken any action. Though your rules provide for cutting power if one month electricity dues are not paid workers down the line appear to have there own norms and fees. Our lawyer has requested to inform you that any loss I am put due to bad debts the board will have to reimburse me. The tenant is expected to go away by the end of this month. Instruct your officers to cut the line and inform me that they have cut power to the unit by calling [protected].

        Our consumption of electricity at Bharat Petroleum Company Outlet at Maraimalainagar is arround 1.8 lakhs in two months. Your meter reader is not coming by due date to note down the reading and inform us the payment due resulting delay in payment.
        Please direct the officials to ensure timely action avoiding collection of penalty from us.
        This month the meter reader called us to his office on 10 June with the reading and he noted it sitting in his office with the date of 30 May that is fabricating as he visited our location on 30th itself and noted the reading.

          Sir, I am a practicing Advocate in the High Court and am residing at No.18, Pidariyar Koil Lane, Chennai-600 001 (behind Broadway Don Bosco), The Electricity is intermittently failure in our Lane (street) for the past six months. If I call the phone No. 2526 8855, either it is ringing and ringing or evasive reply from the attender concerned. If I go to the EB office at Seven Wells, no one give a proper reply and I asked them the Complaint Book to register my complaint but there is no complaint book is available. The entire people of the street are very much suffered due to the intermittent failure of the Electricity.

                I am from Jeeva nagar first street Madipakkam, we are facing fluctuations in our area for the last 4 months, especially during night hours. I have personally complained 3 times and people in our street have complained many times, but situation has not been resolved and the people who are responsible say that it will be ready in two days but nothing happened till now. We have pregnant women and old people in my place, without any proper ventilation at night they suffer each and every day. someone should take responsibility and resolve this asap.

                  My name is Stuart I live in Kodungaiyur 3 block there as been no power in this area for the last 10 hours, from last night until now .. I have called every possible number to give a complaint but no one answers the calls ... I called [protected] more than ten times but no one picked up .. I finally went to the sembiyam office near the bsnl office only to find all of the events employees sleeping .. I informed them about the power out but until now no one is even worried to do something about the power .. I have a one month old baby who as not been able to sleep ..

                    My residence is located at thathaneri madurai. My eb service connection no:[protected] / [protected].

                    Tneb madurai has charged excess payment from me due to wrong posting of meter reading in tneb system. Due to this fault of tneb madurai, tneb has charged excess payment from me for the 600 units.In this regard, i made complaint to tneb madurai through system. The copy of complaint made to tneb and the status of complaint in tneb is enclosed herewith for your reference.In the status of complaint, tneb has stated that, the complaint is attended. But, tneb either refunded the excess amount collected from me nor informed to me to adjust the excess amount collected in future bill.

                    Keeping in view of the above, i hereby requested to intimate the following immediately on or before 20.06.2016, otherwise the under signed may claim the loss from tneb, due to the excess payment made to tneb on fault of tneb:

                    1) whether tneb is accepting the above fault or not, i. E. Wrong posting of meter reading and collection of excess payment for 600 units

                    2) if tneb accepts the above fault, when tneb going to refund the excess payment to me

                    3) what is the action has been taken, who is in charge for measurement meter reading and posting of meter reading in system

                      In My Company there is no Productivity for last 6 Months, the last bill consumption is 90 units and they charged 907 Rupees for that is basis of Rs6.35 per unit and remaining for other Charges.
                      In the Same This bill also Consumed 90 Units but the Charges was Rupees 1806 for that and also Rupees 900 for Deposit. So Totally now i need to pay 2706 Rupees for the consumption of only 90 units...[I am attached the bill copy also]

                        Tariff change from domestic to commercial

Already we submit formal application and letter to concern ae. already some body came and supervised the same. But so for that tariff not change to us. We tried to contact eb office villivakkam branch and there is no proper response from there side. Request to take necessary action and resolve the issue as soon as possible.                           The current supply was ruined us lot they disconnect the supply as they like with no reason, if you call to department they never response, this is not the first time they do like this. Is there any wrong that I would like to know the reason of power shutdown.

                          Since there is no response and no reason the power shutdown I would like to file a complaint against them I still believe this complaint may help some people near my area and Aviod then unwanted power shutdown

                            We are residing in ragevendra link road, kolathur, past few months the power fluctuation has been a annoying problem, many appliances are getting damaged. The EB over here or the head ED over here doesn't look at his problem much. They say it will be alright in the end of the evening Nthg will be changed the same problem pertains everyday.

                            It's everyone's hard earned money just because of no proper maintenance of someone else fault we are losing many things. Please take care of the problem soon.

                              Am a resident in villivakkam, once in every three days we get power cut that too in night for around 3-4 hrs. no use in calling the local eb office. they never pick the call. even i tried calling to the head office in anna salai, they give connection within 5 mins, then again it goes off worth 15mins. do they think we are fool??? think that not only people living in posh area are only human being. very worst and poor maintenance and response.

                              it will be easy if someone share me any mail id connected with cm's cell.

                                Power cut
                                We are residing in Thiruvottiyur at jeevanlal nagar, during yesterday (10.06.2016) there is no power for more than 12 hours... We have infants, paitents, and kids at home, and very horrible during this summer season and from last 12 hours no power, no power... If we call the EB ppl they are not picking up the call.. They don't even respond to us properly

                                  Very poor eb line maintenance. High voltage fluctuation. Large number of electrical and electronics items got damaged. Complained registered in local pallavaram eb office. No response. I spoke to ad also.

                                  More over zamindhar lane is so worst. We complained many times, but it couldn't rectified still. Due to heavy vechicle and school van, the road became so worst.
                                  No street name board available. And street lights are very low power and bright. I spoke to concern engineer. He told me that he will takecare.
                                  But no improvement.

                                  Kindly the respected official pls takecare of the above issue.

                                  Dear sir/madam,
                                  Its S. Makitha from Maha ladies hostel, No.17., 2nd lane, Shastri nagar, (behind of adyar telephone exchange), Adyar, Chennai. Everyday night, after 9.30 pm till 11.30 pm sometime it will take till 12 am power cut is there. We couldn't sleep in night. Next day we have to start to work by 5 am. But we couldn't wake up in early morning. Next day everything will be getting late and everywhere tension, whole day will get spoiled. Before this area I was staying in bhaktavatsalam nagar(near to ganapathy ram theater), but never this type of power failure was happened there. In that area quite rich people is residing. But compared to there in my area(Maha ladies hostel, No.17., 2nd lane, Shastri nagar, (behind of adyar telephone exchange), Adyar, Chennai) people are not that much rich. Hence frequent power cut occurs. See, one thing we too humans. Don't do like this.
