    For one month[protected] to[protected] we have repeated voltage fluctuation at all hours of the day.
    TNEB office is not responding to calls.
    When I call lineman on mobile number, he claims that "Neenge mattum call panren madam vere yaarume call panle" (Only you are calling madam noone else is calling). I am unsure what this implies.
    If my understanding is correct, even if one person complains, the issue is supposed to be attended.

    After lot of convincing about the genuineness of the complaint he comes, attends it and leaves. The problem starts again within a few hours.

    We are unable to do studies, remote work or household chores peacefully because of the unpredictable nature of this fluctuation.

    Please investigate thoroughly, and take necessary measures to solve this issue.

    Also sensitize your staff on receiving complaints. Please give consumers the benefit of the doubt on complaints!

        Residing @ Choolaimedu, Chennai -600094. No response from AE EB choolaimedu, or [protected] or [protected] on powercut complaints.

        This was not the response when we had 1912 for complaints.

        Overall administration has to be revamped for better service.Many have this opinion. Very poor service at the ground level.

        I am also writing to the CM cell on this.

            I am residing in thirunagar 2nd cross street, ponmalaipatti, Trichy. In the past three years we have witnessed power cut for more than 100 times in our area. In each and every time the response of the local TNEP staff were very poor due to which the power cut lasted for more than 5 to 6 hrs. Had they attended in time, it would have been resumed within 30 to 45 minutes. Due to their carelessness the local people are suffering a lot. Today also there is a power cut from 8pm. Time is now 11 pm. Till now no action has been taken by TNEP staff. Usually if the power goes after 8pm in this area is resumed only around 4am. We don't know why they are taking this much of time. We are facing this problem almost twice in week. Due to their carelessness residents of this area spending the whole night sleepless.

              Hi,

              This is Paul Jagadish from yeswanth nagar 2nd street, Madambakkam (falls under selaiyur EB). There is a power fluction in my place for the past few days. Whenever I call CS team, I am getting same reply "technician is on the way to address the issue". We cant work/sleep peacefully because of this power issue. Please do the needful ASAP.

                Consumer No:[protected]

                The usual duration for every meter reading was supposed to be 2 months/60 days, Even a single day delay duration might result in a big difference in the amount to be paid especially during the summer season.

                Last Meter Reading date: 06/04/22, Unit : 18740

                Current Month Reading date: 11/06/22, Unit : 19640

                [protected] = 900, Total Bill Value: 4420 Rs

                Instead of eight weeks, the total duration is 9 weeks now,
                Considering a weekly average = 900 / 9 weeks = 100 unit per week

                So removing the additional 1 week - the meter reading would have costed 3710 Rs for 800 units. [Approximately 700 Rs extra]

                The worst case scenario is for those to whom the reading had crossed above 500 units during this last weeks in our apartment/community.

                Ex: 510 units cost = 1840 Rs, whereas 450 unit might have costed only 950 Rs, nearly double the bill rate just because the EB reading was taken a week delayed, and whose fault is that. Why people should pay for the official mistake?

                  Hello sir
                  This is Shankar and I reside in LIC nagar 2nd Street, Madipakkam . There has been power issues in this area since summer started. It's understandable that it can be low voltage in summer because of the heavy loads but even till date we don't have full supply. Everyday it's low voltage only and AC's are never working . We are not able to sleep during nights. This has to be looked into with priority and resolved as all our appliances are getting damaged frequently .

                      In pallavaram, Malangananthapuram zone EB readings are not at all noted and updated by the correspondent officers. Though government is saying that we can easily pay the bill online, Because of these kind of irresponsible agents/workers the eb bill is not being updated in online properly.
                      The readings were noted after the deadline, because of this more than 500 units were taken into account, which leads us to lose the government subsidies on eb bill, So instead of paying around Rs.700, i had to pay Rs.2300, which is totally devastating for us. Even when i go and ask the EB office, the response was not proper. There's one respectable physically challenged women who couldn't speak had been put in the position, she's not able to handle public and couldn't clarify the doubts of consumers.

                      I kindly request you to immediately take action for this concern.

                          Goodmorning Sir, I have a complaint regarding bill date May 31, ID no: [protected]

                          Our flat is vacant for last 1 year . And April 2022 bill was ZERO.
                          But June EB bill shows consumed unit is[protected] and the amount is Rs. 26794 very high. Billcopy attached.
                          However current reading on the samemeter shows 24230 only (Snapshot attached). So the consumed unit is 70 only.
                          A complaint report on EB at 24x7 customer care cell called Minnagam ([protected]) on July 7. Complaint number is 894598. Very little progress found after daily follow ups with TNEB. Please help ...Thank You

                          Hi, Received a call today from TNEB and an email with correct/updated bill today.(June14, 2022). Thank you so much for following up and resolution in 48 hours. Please note that incorrect bill amount was Rs 26794 and the new bill corrected amount is Rs 0 (Zero). Not sure, why TNEB was not fixing this huge amount after repeated reminders on 4 days.

                            I am S.LAKSHMISARAS owner of a flat at 29, Solaiappa Street, Santhome, Mylapore, Chennai - 600004. My name appear correctly in the property tax receipt issued by Chennai Corporation. A copy of the receipt is attached herewith.

                            But in TNEB Consumer Records for the above flat, my name appear only as " Lakshmi" . It should be " S.LAKSHMISARAS". A copy of the wrong TNEB record is also attached herewith.

                            Kindly effect the name correction in TNEB consumer records on the strength of the property tax receipt (attached) so that in the next billing cycle onward my full name appear in the receipts.

                                Dear Team,
                                We live in Theethampalayam Area and for the past 3 months, the voltage has been very low and we were never able to switch on fan, washing machine, bore well motor and Air conditioner it can repaired .The heat has been so intense and most of the nights we are not able to sleep, so, please resolve this problem.

                                      Power cut is done for every two hours in a day.When I called the concerned EB office in my locality(Walajapet) the person who answered my call was so reckless to say “there will be power cut for every two hours and if you want to ask anything you can contact our superior officers”. And then he abruptly disconnected my call.My COnsumer no is[protected].
