Tamil Nadu Electricity Board [TNEB] Complaints & Reviews

Hi,

This is regarding my bill payment with TNEB - Feb 2022 bill. My bill amount was Rs.2374/.
I have made a payment using tangedco mobile app using icici gateway via gpay on 1st March 2022. Even the transaction got failed but amount has been debited from my account.

however, I have waited for 7 days... and then nothing seems to have happened.

I have meanwhile consulted the local EB office (Kovilpathagai, Avadi) and they said they have not received the payment, and they cant help on this issue and asked to consult the bank.

Also, raised a dispute in GPay / ICICI bank, they are clearly saying that this amount has been settled to TNEB

But I have also paid the amount using 2374/- on Mar 9, 2022 again and it was successful.

I'm raising this request to shift the current pole as in the year 1991 they have placed an current pole infront of my shop and again on 19th April 2022 they have placed an another current pole next to it so we are finding so difficulty and we have children's too if we get any injured by this then the tneb government will be responsible and the distance between 2 pole is less then 7 feet so please kindly do the needful... I'm requesting for change it immediately as I have children's

We are having 3 phase connection in our home, but mostly one phase getting off and only 2 phase, so lift is not working. Due to this incidents happening in lifts

The low voltage is causing so many problems in the village named chinnabelagondapalli 635110 which comes under hosur taluk krishnagiri district ..we are facing this issue from the past 2 years..we kept complaining in tneb office but no one responded…the voltage is so low in summer it wont even reach 150 volts ..the refrigerator and washing machine and other appliances wont even run

Iam Fredric vivian from kottur (thiruvarur district)between thiruthuraipoondi and Mannargudi road, I send you this mail because iam facing some issues ...i have applied for a new connection on 13/04/2022 and one person named sathyaseelan(CA) came to visit the site and he want me to pay for the new connection amount 2808rs and i have also given that money on 15/04/2022 ... After that I have contacted him daily till today but he doesn't give any proper response to me and i have also visit the EB office Kottur ... But not proper response from the person (Sathyaseelan) today i have recieved a msg that my amount for new connection due is pending... Still he haven't pay that money and doesn't give proper response ... Please take any action to that person and please make sure that they have to provide a new connection ... For the past 13 days I feel very terrible with the TNEB service ... Please take any action and provide a service as soon as possible sir and my only hope is you please take this seriously ... Thank you

My tenant tried to reset password and we got an deactivation email and now consumer no is showing invalid

Every day power cut in this area . Every day 4 and 5 times . The people of the me area are very distressed

See for the past two weeks there is a power cut every hour, we have new born babies at home, who are suffering very much. We don't have enough money to have a UPS this happens only at our street for every 1 hour there is Power cut and it resumes after an hour. This is been a routine for past 2 weeks. Please kindly take a necessary action. This happens only in AMARJYOTHI nagar, Makanampati Pollachi- 642001. Rest all places in pollachi have proper electricity

Daily power cut in my area (Mullipadi Dindigul) or more than 3 hours in day time. In night time also power cut the for more than 2 hours. Unable to manage because of very hot climate. Unable to sleep at night time. Don't know the reason for this. Please look into the issue. I don't know whether this online complaint will help to resolve this issue. Please understand our situation. I hope DMK govt will resolve this issue very soon.

I'm living in Urapakkam for the past 20 years. Nowadays we're facing regular current failure.Multiple times we tried to reach the landline no, whenever current failure no says currently busy. Although we spoke with AE, he's saying that he doesn't know my area..But he's is the AE for Urapakkam..If we visit EB office no one will be there... If we're missed to make payment they'll charge additional penalty...who cares these kind of issues..Public has to suffer for Management failure...

Power once gone never returns before 4 hours as a minimum
There is no response to any calls made to the customer care.

We are faced electricity issue from last night. Power cut happened on yesterday night. Still no power

This is Palanisamy A, working as a PG Teacher in government school. I m staying at Murarbad, Sankarapuram, Kallakkurichi.
In my area frequently Power cut most of the days. This area comes under Alaththur EB office. Especially past three days there is no limit for power cut. More than 5 hours power cut, day time as well as night. Now (12.12a.m) also power cut here. How the people can sleep during this summer. Without reason why disconnecting power like this. We have a one year baby too. How to manage without power. We are facing the same issue regularly. Morning also power while getting ready to school or college or office. This area people are suffering a lot because of power cut. I would like to raise complaint regarding this. Kindly look into this and do the needful. Thank you.

We live in 12th extension, kuberan nagar Maddipakkam and have been facing power fluctuations for several months. Despite several complaints made by our association the problem still remains unresolved.

Who are we to seek help from them??
