Iam now(17th sept. 2016) travelling in setc Route no. H791 bus from chennai to ernakulam which started it's journey at 15:05 from c.m.b.t.
After 6 hours of journey the driver stopped vehicle for dinner in a hotel named 'AMMA' which is located opposite to VRS Engineering college, Arasur, after some kilometers from villupuram. Only porotta and dosa with egg curry is available. That's ok. But they charged 100 rs for 2 pieces of porotta and egg curry.!!.. Also the mineral water which labelled 25 rs as m.r.p, selling it for 30 rs.
This is too ridiculous from the driver side. He can park the bus in a decent hotel which does not exploit the travellers.
Very bad.

    All buses running between pondy to chennai, must cover the stage name 'thiruchitrambalam kootroad'.but most of the buses are not following this rules.buses are running in bypass itself.people in thiruchitrambalam are suffering daily without proper transport.so please kindly take my complaint as important&solve it for people.please give the permanent solution for this.this is not a complaint.this is our request.please.

      Good morning...!!

      Today[protected], monday) i was travelling from arani to chennai in tnstc bus no 202, i was sitting near by driver's seat, we had some problem with that bus driver as he was smoking in during the travel time continuously despite the several warning by us. Both conductor and driver was yelling and treating us very cheaply. They told us "if you ok means travel with us otherwise you can get down and come with another bus". Such arrogance is unacceptable.

      I have below furnished the bus details for your kind perusal. Kindly review and do the needful. Herewith i have enclosed my bus ticket. Even though bus number is different from (Tn23n1609) what i have mentioned below the original bus number.

        I started my journey in a govt ultra deluxe bus from chennai (perengalatur) on 14th Sept 2016, at 12:10am, it was informed to me by the bus conductor that bus will reach madurai by 7am or maximum by 8 am, and driver too told me it will take 8 hours from here.
        Bus reached trichy at 7:30 am upon asking the driver, he mannerlessly shouted and asked me to get down from the bus,
        Driver : (in full arrogance) this is a government bus and it will run like that only, if you want to continue go sit quiety or else get out, go ahead and file a complaint i[censored] can, no one can take any action on us.

        This reply shows how regulated your services are and how much it's under your control.

        Kindly take necessary actions otherwise the local public won't have any faith in government transport system.

          On 11th september 2016 i was returing from mayladuthurai to chennai. journey started by 11.00AM and stopped for lunch at hotel named saravana bhavan( so called highway resturant)around 3.00pm.
          No higene and costly and worse quality food. i am seeing this hotel from past 15 years . they decide what to serve and they dont provide what we want.
          For example: if you want to eat single parotta, they will not serve you single parotta. they serve double and charge you Rs.60/-
          another item: chicken briyani- Rs.100/- made by worse quality rice.

          This bus driver drives the vehicle(TN 68 N 0646) in opposite road to reach this hotel, because they get some special food without paying any money.

          please consider the passengers are also also humans, dont encourage these cheap quality hotels.

          just straight opposite to this hotel vasantha bhavan is located, they charge the same price and provide very good quality food.
          its a request, please stop parking your buses in these cheap quality hotels.

          26 june 2022, i was travelling to madurai to tuticorin bus stopped one hotel near melakaranthai opposite hotel ramesh. Name nellai aaryas hotel one of the worst hotel ever they cheating passengers like a pick pocket theief please don’t stop that hotel thery misbehaving passengers foods are worst quality and quantity.
          I was travelled from Bangalore to vellore. While travelling I was bought ₹15 snaks item. But they are selling that ₹15 snaks for ₹20. Not only for this if you buy what ever the product. They are collecting extra ₹5. Please take an immediate action for this
          I have daily traveled daily from saveetha engineering college to arcot. The hotel named jp hotel Food quality was very worst and snacks product rate is 5 rupee extra than the mrp.i have wasttuped to vellore deport but they don't take any disition till now.take immediate action orelse you will face a big problem.

            Dear Sir/Madam,

            i am frequent visitor from Bangalore to Tamil Nadu. When ever i am using the TNSTC i have to produce the Hard Copy of the Ticket during the journeys and even they wont send the mobile messages.

            Now days all are on the way to e-paper and reducing papers in the name of GREEN India. IRCTC also abolished to production of Hard Copy of the Ticket.

            KSRTC ( Karnataka State Transport Corporation ) also sending the tickets to the passengers mobile No's (Even Crow/Drives call the passengers before start the bus if we late) and they wont ask the hard copy of the ticket.

            Hence i reqeust TNSTC,

            While Booking the Ticket, please send the M-Ticket to the mobile no's and they should not ask the Hard Copy during journey compulsory.

                I was traveling from upilipalayam, Coimbatore by bus number 2E on September 10, 2016 around 7pm when I had the worst confrontation with the conductor of this bus (with number TN 38 N 1950). All I asked him for was to return the remaining change of the bus fare. He kept yelling at me for the rest of the journey at the top of his voice for no reason. All I asked him was for the change. Such arrogance is unacceptable especially towards a woman. I don't understand why he had to behave so arrogantly for asking him to return my money. I had to get down in the mid way because the harassment was way too much to handle. It's quite common for these conductors to sound harsh (which is still unacceptable) and I tried ignoring him initially. But he just wouldn't stop and he kept abuses going. It's so humiliating that had to make this complaint here. His name is Dhandapani and I want this issue to be looked into right away. There's absolutely no safe place for us anywhere. I hope with this the authorities begin to bring an end to such barbaric behaviour.

                  I booked a seat in ww.TNSTC.in website to travel from Bangalore to Mayiladuthurai on 8th September 2016. But there are no bus services provided from Bangalore on that day. After 3 hours, I took a KSRTC bus to reach Hosur and reach my home town somehow after all the struggles.

                  If TNSTC is not providing any services on that day due to problematic situation in Bangalore then they could have blocked/disabled online reservations for that day. Because like me there are many hundreds of peoples(including senior citizens) reserved TNSTC buses online and waiting in their respective boarding points for more than 3 hours.

                  I want my money to get refunded.

                    I have booked 2 tickets on 6th august 2017 form bangalore to pollachi. But due to strike that day by the corporation the bus got cancelled. There was no notifications or anything regarding this. I reached the bus stand and asked someone and they told me that the service is not available due to strike. When I asked the enquiry they told me to call the number available on the website and cancel the booking and i will get the refund. I have been trying to call that number till now but that number was not working. Today I tried another number for the billdesk and when I called someone told me to send a postal letter to some address to get the refund!!! What kind of rule is that? This is how customer service works?? I regret that I booked this service(This was my first time with TNSTC). Please refund the money.

                    Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation [TNSTC] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                    I have booked 4 tickets(2 + 2) on 25th May 2018 form Madurai to Kozhicode. But due to strike/or some other reason SERVICE got cancelled bye TNSTC. There was no notifications or anything regarding this. When I Called the Eranakulam TNSTC number, they told me to send a postal letter to Chennai address to get the refund!!! What kind of rule is this? At least they could have informed us regarding the cancellation. This is how the customer service works?? ????

                      Last day night (7/9/2016) at 11.30pm conductor was not allowed me. vehicle no tn33n2713 (temporary bus) because of veerappan chattram bus stop is near from bus stand.

                      Conductor is advice me " you go by walk its near only. i am not allow you. our department is not allow to drop the passenger at veerappan chattram bus stop. if you know want confirm with driver also.

                      Kindly confirm me whether bus stop is available for veerappan chattram in the route of erode to kavinthapadi at midnight time.

                      Note: more than times i travelled on this route and also get down at veerappan chattram bus stop.

                        To higher authority, today 9.30 p. M i started travel at tirumangalam (Madurai) in tnstc bus (Tn63 tn 1656). The conductor asked me to take ticket for virudhunagar-collectorate @rs.31/- i have been traveling in this route for the past 2 years. The ticket charge is maximum rs.20/-. Also if i asked for justice, the bus conductor (He refused to give his name) scolded me like anything, using bad words. He also dropped me in the mid way. Because of this i reached my home at 12.15 a. M (Next day). If suppose there is a lady or any kid in my situation holding rs.20/- only, what will be the fate of them? I will take this matter to vnr district collector if there is no further action. Pls identify that bloody conductor & punish this like irresponsible govt. Servant.

                          As i was travelling from tuticorin to madurai on[protected] by 5pm from tuticorin new bus stand. The bus no is - tn 72 n 1755. The bus driver was very rash in driving without considering about the passangers in the bus. He just over speed the bus and race with another on bus from tuticorin to madurai. The passangers are very scared about his driving and felt unsafe. There were lots of small kids in the bus. And i also with my baby, i feel more unsecure about the driving and my bp was very high during the travel. He used sudden break more that 10 - 15 times. And there was raining near arupukkati, at that time also he didn't reduced the speed. He just concentrated on overtaking the anpther govt. Bus to madurai, and caring about his passangers. If anything unwanted may happen then what he will do after the mishap. Pls take some serious action on the driver sir, other in future he will repeat the same and play with the life of peoples. Pls sir take some action and safe the peoples from the driver.

                            Respected sir,

                            This complaint is about buses parked in roads and not in sheds at night. It is about jeeva bus depot (Tiruppur). Jeeva bus depot is not taking necessary action against bus drivers who park bus in roads near sheds in the nights and sleep there itself. It is creating traffic jam in morning and many people cannot take their own vehicle out of the house since they are parking infront of house. Mainly tiruppur - tiruvannamalai buses are usually parked in roads. Even the security at duty on 5/09/16 (Vinayagar chathurthi) at 7.40 a. M in jeeva bus depot is not behaving in proper manner when told about this issue and did not care about this problem.. Kindly take necessary action against these issues in jeeva bus depot tiruppur. Iam going to forward this complaint to respected cm cell too.

                              While coming from padappi to Mepz(tambaram sanitorium), I boared in a inter city green color bus (TN 21 1644).

                              I gave conductor 100 rupee note, ticket fare was 11 conductor did not return change.

                              while I was in tambaram I asked for the change.

                              He was in a brawl with another passenger, he was hitting the passenger and since the passenger was weak so he could not rely. Conductor did not return his change either.

                              I asked the conductor about returning my money, I shook him then HE STARTED BEATING ME, he almost THREW ME OUT OF THE BUS.

                              I want STRICT ACTION TO BE TAKEN AGAINST THESE PEOPLE.

                                  I'm now travelling from Pondicherry to chennai thru TN01-N-7745.
                                  This so called AC bus doesn't have enough chilling of AC with dripping ac water inside bus.
                                  The bus is driven not more than 60kmph which makes us feel the bus is not in good condition.
                                  I'm just curious if the bus is not in good condition why the corporation runs the bus without servicing it.
                                  This is just annoying all the passengers.

                                    Hi team,

                                    Today i travelled porur to t. nagar by ac bus 576, in that ac is not working completly then why the bus has started without any proper checking in depot. they have been collecting proper ticket money from all the passengers. i'm so frustrated about our government ac bus. this is ridiculous.

                                    They have been charged 35 rupees for my travelling bt the ac was not all working. we cannot able to sit also... some people are using their kerchief as a fan.

                                    It is not at all good service. this issue we have already given complaints in t. nagar depot also but they are not concern about this and all.

                                      I m babu travellaing from ramanathapuram to chennai. It was coming from kilkarai. Even for a normal rain there is lot of leakage inside the bus. No one can sit comfortably due to defect in the bus. Conductor and driver are not taking responsibilities to change another bus. We adjust today. But can't evertime. Please consider my complaint and do the basic needs of passengers. Please check every bus for this type of difficulties. Thanking you.
