Hi I already canceled my connection on 12th Jan 2013 and paid Rs.343 as per customer care officer guidance, But still i am geting bills and got call from collection agenda and they are black-milling me. This is not a way to handle the customer, since my number is not working from in the month of december even though i paid the rent ( My Line was totally deed )

    I was using Tata Photon Internet connection since May 2012. As i don’t required Internet connection so i have raised request for connection cancellation to Tata Photon customer care with ref number[protected] on 14'th Feb 2014. For same reference number i received an email that ” Your Service Request NUMBER[protected] for your Photon number 9225xxxxxx is resolved.” So i thought connection is cancelled. But yesterday i received an email that “new bill cycle has commenced from 09-MAR-14. Your data connectivity speed has been restored to High Speed Internet”. I called back to customer care and the guy(Rubin) was saying your request was for bill plan change and not for cancellation(I had received message for that complain states that 'your request is received for cancellation'). And i have to pay rent for full month and if i raised request today it will be cancelled after 7 days and i have to pay for these 7 days as well. If i have raised request on 14′th Feb then why should i have to pay till 17′th March? I was asking same question to the customer care guy(Rubin) but he disconnected the call. Please don’t use Tata photon connection. They respect customers only when you are using their services.

    How this can be possible? I have cancelled the connection on 14'th Feb 2014 and today after one month i received bill of Rs. 385/- (my internet plan was 400/- per month) without using connection from past one month. Why i should pay this amount? Please explain.
    I received call today(14 March) from [protected] and customer care guy told me that for my request of Internet connection cancellation they called me and my number was switched off so they had decided not to cancel connection.

    But on 5'th Mar 2014 I received missed call from [protected]. This is Tata customer service number and when I called back on same day they told me they will call me back, but never called me again. And my connection is still active. What a story!

      This is to bring your notice that the response provided by your customer care people is worst.The tag line of your 'Register your complaint' says, Run into a problem with your Tata DOCOMO? We are really sorry but wait, help is at hand. Just fill in your details and issue below and you will get a prompt reply from our Customer Care team. What's more you can also track your previous issues right here!" . But when i called for an network issue, your customer care person said we cant solve the issue, if you want you can change the netwrok. Is this the response you give to the customer!!. And the cal will be cut in the middle.

      The website http://www.tatadocomo.com/ has a link to Register a complaint. When you put the mobile number it says you cant fetch the number. If your database doesnt fetch the number properly then how come we have to register a complaint.

      I have got message that your complaint number is processed Thank you. Actually the issue is not solved and I have not given any confirmation then how can you close the issue.!!


      This is not the way to treat a customer. I am really frustrated with the way how you handle the customer.

        To, Mr.Sujit Sawargaonkar Tata Docomo Customer care Pune Subject:-Complaint about the Tataphoton Prepaid - request to balance carry forward due to no network coverage. Respected Sir, There is no Network Coverage in my area (Pimple Saudagar, pune) since last 4-5 months and hence i couldn't use my prepaid card (photon plus) even after sufficient balance (15 GB, recharged in Aug'13), which was lapsed on 26th Feb 14 I have raised many tickets to your support team to carry forward my balance until you fix the network issue but didn't get any response . Ticket nos : TEST12053463 TEST12054258 TEST12086813 They closed all the tickets without resolving my issue/ concern.           I Raj Pal consumer of tata photon plus. TATA DOCOMO Photon [protected] . Started using service on 10th January, and I observed that Internet speed was very slow so I complained about it to my local tata docomo and photon customer center. And they sent an engineer/ technician on 20/1/14, complaint no[protected], he told you will get the same speed of 30-40 KBps.So I approached my local tata docomo and photon customer center and asked them I do not want to continue using the service neither I want to pay the bill because if the company cannot meet their mentioned criteria and speed then why I should pay the bills.And I have not been using internet from that date. and till date the number is working yesterday (7/3/14) I raised a complaint about this matter but my problem is not solved till date. And today 8-3-14 I have e-mailed to [protected]@tatatel.co.in to stop/ terminate the number and services.

            Customer care tells me today when I call them myself - that Call Conference facility has been cancelled for Postpaid unlimited customers since Dec 2013. Trai 2012 document states: "1.17 VAS is not a form of basic service but rather adds value to total service offering. Some of these services can stand alone from an operational perspective and not necessarily add value to basic or core services. For example, applications like e-education, e-health, e-commerce, gaming, music, video, IPTV etc. can be provided as a standalone service. However, these services if provided through the telecom network can stimulate incremental demand for core service(s) as well as add additional revenue streams for service providers. Subjectively, a value- added service today becomes a basic service when it becomes sufficiently commonplace, widely deployed and longer provides substantive differentiation. For example normal call related services like call waiting, call forwarding, conferencing, SMS, MMS have become part of the basic or core service." To lure customers to Unlimited Plans of Tata Docomo across India - Call Conference as VAS above was offered as a package with the plan. Now, when such facility has become basic or core service, this has been abruptly terminated by Tata Docomo. Poor professionalism by Tata Docomo to its postpaid customers.

              I cannot understand what they(Tata docomo people) are doing everyday 15rs without any reason.

              Whenever my phone gets network first time in a day. I receive 3 smses from ta-mdeals with content "hi! Get additional 10% off on bill of rs.500 & above for buying any product on www.Starcj.Com. Your discount code is:[protected].Coupon expires in 24hrs. Tnc apply. "

              And guess what i have lost my rs.15 without doing anything... And [protected]@tatadocomo is fab they keep on saying that u hv done this and this.. Without accepting the fact that he is been facing some serious problem and why the hell do you think that i will dial that ussd again and again.. Even after knowing that i will get charged for dialing that ussd..
              And one more thing your system is real so called "raja satya harishchandra" and we(Customers) are the biggest liers right?

              Just think about it man..
              Anyways please help me to get out of this mess

                  Hi,

                  I had requested for cancellation of my TATA docomo internet plan with account number[protected] on 2nd
                  November2012 by sending a mail on [protected]@tatatel.co.in.

                  In response to the request, TATA DOCOMO representative have mailed be on 3rd November 2013 mentioning that my line will be get barred in next 7 days. When my connection didn't got closed in next 18 days again I sent a mail on [protected]@tatatel.co.in requesting to close the connection and mentioning that if it didnt got closed I will not be liable to pay any further amount.

                  But my connection didn't got closed for the months and keep on getting the monthly bills. Now I have been
                  getting overdue bills and calls to pay around Rs. 2600 for which I have not used. I have been harassed and threatened by tata docomo customer care people to pay the outstanding.

                  On 9 November 2013, I sent all the mails related to my connection closure request on [protected]@gmail.com (Customer representattive asked me to send on this email address)

                  My connection got closed because of nonpayment. What happened to the cancellation request? They are not able to answer or don’t want to answer.

                  I think it’s a serious problem with the customer care or the process. Being such a large service provider this
                  kind of behavior is pathetic.

                  I have all emails from Tata Docomo customer care on when the cancellation is raised and acknowledged which I can provide on request.

                  Raising this in consumer court here to take required action and resolve the issue.

                      A/c number :[protected] Name: Venkitesh K G I have disconnected my account and got below email confirming the same. Even then I am getting repeated calls and messages asking me to pay the bill. I was using the connection for past 2-3 years and never ever defaulted the payment; also after Nov i never used it which can be visible for them. Even after this I am getting frequently disturbed by these folks and I spend lots of time explaining the story to each and every guy. Talking to customer care also doesn't help. Finally I am planning to pay the amount and close it for once and all; not because they are right, but to stop this nuisance. I want to take it up further and have them refund my amount which they have eaten up

                        I am using a limited Tata Photon connection, and usually i use around 1 hr a day only. But my recent day daily usage meter shows a very huge usage. Especially on 29-DEC-13 it shows an usage of '1034 Mins'. But i never used that much minute

                        I send many mails to customer care to send me the detailed usage list (that includes the date, from time, to time, etc). But till now i didnt get any proper reply on this. I started the mail track on 31 Dec 2013

                        If i really require a high usage, simply i can change my plan to unlimited (there is plan for Rs. 950 per month). But now the current month bill was raised to Rs. 4499.

                        There is definitely a software issue at their side

                          I am using a Tata Docomo postpaid connection for around 1.5 yrs. I have been harassed by Tata Docomo again and again. This is the second time their executives have lied to me. I went to Tata Docomo customer care centre at Howrah Maidan on 28 Feb, 2014. I put in a request to change the connection from postpaid to prepaid. I was made to sign a form and submit an ID proof plus a photograph. I was promised that by 7 March the transition would be complete. I have a signed receipt from the care centre personnel who had attended me. When I had requested for a receipt after filling in the form, I was told you don't need it. Upon insisting on getting the receipt and a complain number, I was given one. I called the customer care on 121 to check the status or update on the matter on March 5. I was informed that no such request has been generated. Further, the complain number I was given is not valid, the customer care personnel who attended me on 121 explained. I am asked to go to the Howrah Maidan customer care centre again. This is harassing the customer and this is not the first time Tata Docomo executives have misguided and misinformed me. PREVIOUS INCIDENT In April, 2013, I was wrongfully billed. I called their customer care to verify the bill. They kept promising they would look into the matter but did nothing. I mailed then repeatedly for almost two months. They accepted their fault but did nothing. They kept promising they would resolve the issue. Ultimately I was left with no option but to pay the wrongly generated bill which was already too high and in addition the overdues also. I gave up the number. P.S. This number was a second number I was using. However, the customer account number for my present connection and this one is the same as the billing address and name for both connection are the same.

                            As per our discussion over call, we would like to inform you that, the recharge done on[protected] for the amount of Rs. 150/- is not reflecting in your account as the recharge was not successful due to transaction failure. However, the amount will be credited back to the account within 5 to 7 working days from the date of recharge.

                            If the amount does not reflect within the specified time then you need to check with your bank as the recharge failed during the transaction.

                              Photon Max Wi-Fi Connection not activated

                              Hello, I purchased Tata Photon Max Wi-fi connection from Tata Docomo shop online. I received the device on Saturday i.e. 1st March 2014 and also submitted all the required documents to the representative who delivered the device.                               Hi, I got huge bill for the month of febrauary. PFB the details, Ph No: [protected] I have 899 unlimited plan with 1gb internet pack. On the daily basis i have checked the internet balance in Myaccount section. On Feb 18th my internet uasge is 1200MB, so i stooped using internet. On next day i got message that my credit limit is exceeded and out going calls was disconnected. Now they charged around 5562rs. And also they added some extras charges. Please check this problem and revert me back at [protected]. Please dont try to cheat the customers. Thanks, Nagarjuna

                                My Tata Walky Phone no[protected] is out of order since last 10 days. Inspite of repeated requests and reminders, no body attending my complaints. On lodging complaint to 121 they advise to switch off phone and start again. dail *228 . Contact Tata care centre. On visiting tata Care Centre, they advise to contact 121. I have tries all the means. But my Walky can not be got in order.

                                    Dear Customer Care executive, My name is Allwin K Joy, and my mobile phone number is [protected]. I have been disturbed with frequent network messages offering unwanted services. Accidentally, I pressed OK for one of the services. Money from my balance is now being deducted every day. I tried calling the customer care, but they put me on hold for 7 mins and charged me 50ps for nothing. Then tried to find out last three deductions on 121, but no use. Also tried the activation/deactivation portal, but not helpful. Please let me know if there are any services active on my account, and if yes, kindly stop the services as I am not interested in any of your VAS. If not, kindly let me know the last three deductions on my number and justify the balance. If this situation is not resolved at the earliest, I will be forced to port out this number to a better telecom service provider. Your timely action is highly solicited.                                       I had called to TATA DOCOMO for setting caller tunes to a toll free number (121), After going through the menus, i did not set any caller tunes, But they deducted 14 Rupees for Calling to a Toll free Number, Then I talked to customer care Representative They attended the call and did not respond but the call was still connected, TATA DOCOMO IS THE WORST NETWORK ALL OVER THE WORLD, THEY CHEAT EVERYONE, THEY LIVE ON OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY, INSTEAD THEY CAN BE BEGGARS, I REQUEST EVERY ONE TO THROW YOUR TATA DOCOMO SIM NOW ITSELF BECAUSE THEY WILL ALWAYS BE CHEATING
