I am receiving threatening and harassment calls from Tata Docomo to pay the bill. I have visited Tata Docomo Office in Dwarakanagar visakhpatnam in June 2012 and paid the outstanding due amount and requested to close the Data Card Connection after six months I got a call from their customer service to pay the bill. I have advised them that the outstanding has been paid and settled and the customer service said they will raise a complaint and later I again got a call from Tata Docomo customer service and they advised the dispute was under process and will be resolved by[protected] and on 11/01/2013. I again received an SMS stating the dispute will take two more days to resolve. On 16/01/13 I received a confirmation SMS stating the dispute has been resolved.

I have sent Email to Tata Docomo Legal team on 23/02/13 and didnt get any reply and now suudenly I get a call from Mr P C Gotham and Mr Vinod Kumar stating they will file cheating case if the due amount is not paid in two hours and I tried my best to tell them that I have acted responsible to settle this and Tata Docomo was least responsible to resolve the matter and today I visited the branch again and met Ms Anusha and she said she can give 30% discount and asked me to settle. Is this reasonable where I paid the total due amount and requested to close the Data Connection and due to some Irresponsible employee of Tata Docomo who didnt act responsibally. The Data Connection was also not used after the bill payment.

I am feeling Humiliated, Harassed Middle Class Common man with the ill treatment by Tata Docomo.

I am also attaching the Email which was sent on 23/02/13.

This in regards to the Demand notice received on the bill payment of Account#[protected] and Telephone/Datacard# [protected].

The above Datacard connection was requested to be closed at Dwarakanagar Visakhapatnam branch in the month of June 2012.
I have also submitted a letter requesting to close the connection and the past due amount of rs 2400.00 was also paid.
The store was under complete renovation in the time of submission of the letter.

I received a demand letter stating to pay rs 2869.00 which is unacceptable.

It is not my fault if the account is not closed in-spite of a closure request . And the data card was also not used since then.

The demand notice also states I was deliberately avoiding the bill payment which is baseless and I was in touch with your customer service regarding the same dispute#[protected] and I was also sent confirmation SMS by your customer service. Your customer service advised the dispute was under process and will be resolved by[protected] and on 11/01/2013. I again received an SMS stating the dispute will take two more days to resolve. On 16/01/13 I received a confirmation SMS stating the dispute has been resolved.

      I am raising a complaint on the public forum so that everybody will come to know what TATA DOCOMO is doing...
      I am in Pune, kalewadi having the 3G connection with the number: [protected].

      Firstly, I get sold this TATA 3G Dongle saying that monthly FEE would be 750/- and if I pay for 3 months in advance then I will get the dongle for free...
      I paid 2250/- or something for 3 months I got the dongle after 1 week(but that guy promised me that he will get the dongle in 1 day).
      I got the dongle I started using it...and after 2 months I called Customer care to raise a concern that 3 G internet is working damn slow...It frequently disconnects and the speed that I was promised for 2Mbps but what I get is 256kbps during the beginning of the plan and within 4 days, I get the speed of 10-50kbps...and frequently it goes to 0kbps and disconnects...
      Worst experience ever, this is total cheating.
      What they promise is something completely different and what they give is really worse...

      2)so what happens once I call the customer service is even funnier, they tell me that I have to pay more after the 3rd month onwards as I got the dongle under a offer and the monthly charge will increase to 850/- per month.(Nobody told me of this wonderful offer!!!)

      3)Finally a customer care agent does a trick, she turns my plan into a 750/-plan again and then tells me that it is done...internet speed never improved and nobody bothered about it.

      4)Even then I somehow continued with this worst service as I needed it internet service which I wasnt getting at all.
      I called customer service again but customer agents do not listen at all.
      they are very rude.
      I finally said quits and called customer service to cancel my TATA DOCOMO .I clearly told them to cancel the account by 19th Jan, 2014 because billing starts from 20th of every month.I didnt want to pay for another month.
      I called and mailed as well, multiple times because I knew the kind of service provided by TATA.

      but still they managed to fool me and then they said they have a procedure and it will take time.
      I really got pissed off with the customer service and each time I call them they would not have the courtesy to even listen.they would tell you what they want to tell you and would not listen and answer your questions.
      So finally i asked one of the customer care agent to bring me a supervisor as Customer care agents cannot help me.and he gives me a funny answer saying that"No supervisor is there and he is the one taking care of everything"
      I told him that he is just trying to make a fool of me...and then I can hear the conversation between his supervisor and him and they decide to put me on HOLD telling me that a supervisor will come and then they politely disconnects the call.
      I tried calling again and again for no use.

      Finally, They told me that I will get billed on day-by day basis, so no need to pay for the entire month even if it crosses 20th jan.
      I was waiting for TATA DOCOMO to get disconnected as I felt happy finally getting rid of it.

      4)About 3 to 4 people called me from customer service asking me why I was disconnecting, I told them the reasons.
      first two people said fine we will disconnect and I was happy too..

      then a lady called and started giving me offers, first she says that they will make the plan to 500/- per month for the same 5GB plan.I told her that what is the use if I dont get the service and what is the point if the customer service is even worse which will never change.
      she said that they will send an engineer and resolve the issue for which I told them that I will decide to keep it only if the engineer comes and resolves the issue.

      then she calls again and informs that they will waveoff the fee for 1month and also make the plan to 500/- per month and will be sending an engineer as well.
      I said send the engineer and then I will decide if it gets resolved or not.

      I beleive that she last called me by 6th or 7th Feb and today is 17th and nobody has come till now.
      I called up today again to the customer service and they said that they have raised a complaint and somebody will call me back.
      I asked him if anything is written in the complaint which I raised and he informs me that I resigned from disconnecting the connection and nothing else is written.so whatever was spoken or promised on the call was never recorded anywhere.I feel cheated again!!!

      I am so fedup with this service!!!

      please do not get cheated like me by the big companies and do not ever trust the word of customer service.

After some time my data session disconnects automatically, which should not be the case, until disconnect it manually it should remain connected.           My name is Vinod, number is [protected] . Recently i migrated from idea to tata docomo, i submitted all documents at tata docomo outlet on 27th Jan 2014, the sim got activated on 2nd of Feb. actually i never wanted to have a post paid connection but the shopkeeper forced me into this and finally i agreed. I got a plan of Rs.249, which includes 1000min free to local calls and 249 sms per month after free mins get over i will get call rate @ 36p/2min. I had activated internet pack by using the number *189#, in reply i got a msg that it will get activated within 24Hr. everything was going fine, but on 14th feb i got a sms regarding my billing and usage in that they had mentioned unbilled usage till 14th feb is Rs 847.21 and unbilled data usage is Rs.799 excluding rent and discounts. Though I have 1000 free min and i have activated internet pack of Rs.50 (500Mb/30days)how can they send that much amount of heavy bill???? Rs.847 in 12 days means Rs.70 /day?????? How can it be???i hardly speak approx 10min/day on phone that too local mobile. and what about the inter net usage bill Rs.799, what about the internet pack i had activated?? when i called CC guy they told me there is no such internet pack activated on my account..what the hell is happening???I had raised the complaint & ref No is[protected].after this bad experience with tata docomo surely i will disconnect. and i have friends those are using tata indicom and tatdocomo since when the company started its service.Though they have network issues but still they are using them. I suggest them to migrate to another service provider.

              I'm getting charged Rs.5/message twice whenever I restart my SONY XPERIA P or if i reinsert my DOCOMO SIM. The customer care agent has been least helpful. This has become very irritating, I have already lost around Rs.30 in two days and I want this to immediately resolved or DOCOMO can take back its SIM. I don't need to hear any excuses about the SIM or my phone. I need this problem to be resolved and I want a specific procedure for it.

                I have purchased a SIM card of no. [protected] on date 13th February 2014. Its been over 24hrs & still the SIM has not been activated. 'SIM not provisioned MM2' message is prompted again & again whenever I restart my handset. The retailer from where I bought the SIM told me to call on 59059 when the signal is available, But since there is no signal I cant call on any no. Please try to resolve this as soon as possible. if i am doing any mistake then please guide me through it.

                  Im Rajesh Kumar. D, having a tata docomo post paid connection with the number [protected].
                  Now I want to change it to prepaid due to some reasons.
                  I live in Hyderabad and firstly I went to your store located @ Chandanagar. They told me that they dont have access to this. Then I went to Kukatpally store, there i was answered that the respected person isn&#039;t available and willbe back in a week. Then I went to Vivekananda nagar store, there was also no access for this they answered.
                  Now today I went to hyder nagar store where they have access to this as said by the three other store persons.
                  There he told that there are no applications here and told me to come next week.

                  Now my problem is all the four stores can do prepaid to postpaid conversions immediately but not post to pre.
                  Do you guys think the customers are fools.
                  I want my connection to be converted to prepaid immediately.

                    I want to register this complain on public forum where all the consumer should be aware about the services of tata photon. Before they sell they committed the speed of 3.1mbps but actually I am getting the speed of 20kbps which worst ever even from 2g mobile speed. When I register the complain on customer service they suggest that I can discontinue the service if I am not satisfied, I was socked to hear this, I bought this device for 2000 Rs. And that too not returnable nor I can use it for different for other network... waste waste waste ...Please don't waste money on buying TATA photon .

                        I have Rs. 350 + taxes plan including 1GB-3G data and on wards 2G-Unlimited. but customer care told me to avoid maximum usage of data will disconnect the frequency after every 30 mins. so you must be wait for 10 mins or restart your mobile after every 30 mins. As I know if I'll restart my cell phone after every 30 mins ifs costs my phone and battery life even its not feasible for me.

                          I purchased Tata Photon Max Wifi from http://shop.tatadocomo.com on 3rd February 2014. My Order Number is EC[protected]. Firstly, they delivered the device very late on 8th February 2014 and too by calling the Customer Care repeatedly (Customer Care Number - [protected], Customer Care Executives - Neelam, Javed, Himanshu). Secondly, they said that my device will be activated within next 24 hours. Today is 13th February 2014 and still my device is not activated. I have been calling at the Customer Care daily 3-4 times and everytime either Neelam or Javed or Himanshu says it will be activated within few hours. Customer Care Executives always say they have escalated my issue to activation team - but still nothing happens. I am helpless and feels duped by this company and have decided now to take legal action against them.

                            I owe a tata docomo number for internet only on my smartphone. (I use it for calling rarely). Problem is that Internet is not continious. It breaks anytime. I do not change my location. When it works, it works good, but when it breaks, it is a headache. When we call customer care, their answer is "Switch off your phone, re-insert your sim card, then re-try". What the hell solution is this. Is this an era of Internet or Bajaj-scooters, which always need to be leaned sidewards to get started. All I need is continous internet on my phone and no silly solutions like restarting your phone.

                                    i got "executed" after paying, but no balance i got..
                                    my net banking statement shows balance deducted.
                                    and i even have sms of deducted sms...
                                    please help what to do..

                                      At about 5:44pm on 08/02/2014 a call from CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER **[protected]** a male contacted me and asked some queries regarding post paid connections. They are disturbing even my busy work time, while I am doing my job in court so I asked him how to avoid such calls, suddenly he replied, "YOU WILL DISCONNECT AND SURRENDER YOUR CONNECTIONS (DEI UN CONNECTIONA CUT PANNUDA)". After that he called me again and again more than three times and he scold me by using very filthy language. So I am preparing myself to lodge a complaint before POLICE and immidiately the two post paid TATA DOCOMO connections.

                                      Take action and accept my surrender of my two numbers i.e. [protected] and [protected].
                                      I am very much disturbed by your customer care activities. I have already informed your some other customer care officers.

                                        I WANT TO CHANGE MY POST PAID NUMBER TO PREPAID NUMBER, FOR THAT I HAVE SUBMITTED THE REQUEST ON 21st January, then they told submit the proof to show room, so that i have submitted the proof on 23rd January, the show pupil said, "your complaint number expired, so you can not submit the document right now", the same time i called to customer care again i got the complaint number then i give the new number and submitted the proof,
                                        They simply told your mobile number will be changed to prepaid on 07fEB2014 at 7.28pM. After that i called on Feb 8th morning, they said you are not picking the call on 1st of Feb14, that is why we have not changed, so you receive the call on 8th evening, please attain then your complaint will be solved, i waited up to 5.30Pm then i called you customer care officer and asked about the status, they told you have to visit the show room then only we can change your number Post pay to prepaid, Kindly guide the same.
