Updated by Siddhartha Hajra Sorry, Tata DOCOMO, your call didn't help clarify the situation but in fact has brought to light the kind of scam you are running.
Firstly, I must clarify that since I didn't pay the excess bill sent to me on the month of August - as per your company policy you withdrew connection from middle of September - to the effect that I could not use the dongle to log on the Internet.
But, despite this withdrawal you kept generating bills for the following months i.e. September & October.
Please note that you officially sent a "Service Restriction Intimation" dated 11th, November 2013. But how about the two month(September, October) of non-usage of service due to withdrawal of service from your end???!!! HOW CAN I BE BILLED FOR THE MONTHS I HAVE NOT USED YOUR SERVICES?
I COULD NOT HAVE USED THE SERVICES AS YOU HAD ALREADY WITHDRAWN CONNECTIVITY!
Secondly, I must bring to notice of concerned authorities that when I subscribed to the plan I was told that I'd have to foot a monthly rental of Rs.850 only. I purchased the dongle with Rs.850 for the 6GB data plan, and was told that from the following month onward I will be receiving the same amount in the form of a bill. But, I have since been receiving (till the month of JUNE) Rs. 946. as they have been adding a service tax, WHICH WAS NOT MENTIONED TO ME EARLIER WHEN THE PRODUCT GOT SOLD.
And, AND HOW IS IT POSSIBLE WHEN THEY SOLD THE DONGLE FOR RS.850, IT WAS INCLUSIVE OF ALL TAXES?? AND WHEN I WAS CLEARLY TOLD IT WAS A Rs.850.00 MONTHLY RENTAL PLAN!
PLEASE CLARIFY THE HIDDEN COSTS INVOLVED WHEN SELLING YOUR PRODUCTS IN THE MARKET!!
THERE HAS BEEN ZERO TRANSPARENCY IN THIS DEALING.
Thirdly, please note that I refuse to pay for the months I have not used your services. Please send me a rectified bill immediately!
