Yesterday around 11:00 pm i checked my mobile and noticed that my balance had been deducted. A message said amount deducted for session charges (i.e. usage of internet). I called the customer care immediately who after doing a background check claimed that i had used the internet between 7:00 - 7:30 pm. This is a blatant lie because i had turned off my internet the very day i purchased my mobile. I tried to reason out with the customer care executive saying i was in the train at that point of time and i don't use the internet from my mobile. But he simply refused to register my complaint. Once again the company has resorted to extremely cheap means for deducting balance.

    WALKY TALKY NOT WORKING

    I ARUN SINGH I HAD TAKEN DOCOMO WALKY TALKY I had taken the some dealers contact numbers through google, many of them call me and i had taken 1 walky talky model : FP2255 PESN : CE0168 MONTH & YEAR OF MANUFACTURE :11/2013 I TOOK ON 12 DEC 2013, IT HAD WORKED ON 13 DEC, AND FROM 14 DEC 13, CHARGING WONT BE COMING TO AN WACKY TALKY.SO ONE DOCOMO TECHNICIAN HAD CAME AND STATED THAT, THE PROBLEM IN A WALKY TALKY SET, SO BETTER CHANGE...

    Hi, Whenever I try to make a call from my mobile it says 'Sorry this facility is not available on your phone'. I'm not even able to call cust care (121). This is really annoying and all my balance/money is just getting wasted because of your stupid network Tata Docomo. Rectify the problem immediately Also I'm unable to register a complaint in your website 'http://www.tatadocomo.com/register-your-complaint.aspx'. After entering all the details the page gets refreshed and the complaint is not taken. And the internet works for max 1 hour a day, rest of the time internet doesn't work at all.     Got a call from Tata Docomo Cust Care and confirmed that their internet works only for 30-40 mins and after that we have to keep on trying to connect for internet. Anyway I'm changing the network as I wasn't happy with Tata Docomo

      Dear sir/s, i hv been using tata docomo gsm for last 6 month & every month i do recharge 189 special std plan for ie for 15 days only. On dated 18/12/13 i did some 189 recharge plan but instead STD calls i received unlimited local calls plan which i dont reqired. I tried to call ur customer care cell no. for getting exact feed back but due to ur third class service i coulnot contact. i want my rs. 189 cash bk Or do my std plan.

        Hi, I was trying to activate the number [protected] from last 30th Nov and still it is not been active. As I wasnt using for few days number was barred. I tried to replace a sim on 30th Nov and from then on it is not active. When I try to reach it says the number is temporarily out of service. I had called the customer care more than 10 times and the response is wait for 4 hours, wait for 48 hours, wait for 1 hour, wait for 24 hours. I was requested to go to the showroom to activate it I did that too few times still not done. I still do not know how can I help you so that you can activate my number. I am really upset with the way I get responses from the customer care and the way they talk. I do not know if this is the right mail id I am supposed to send the request.           This is regarding my Tata Docomo connection (A/C No.[protected]; Del No. - [protected]) I have received a legal notice for non-payment. But I have a few complaints regarding their services which has been abysmally lacking in transparency. I have laid down the exact nature of my complaints below. I must briefly mention here that I stopped payment because they were lacking in responding to my queries regarding excess billing. I have so far not received any satisfactory explanation regarding the same. I would urge the readers of this forum to suggest me with a method of responding to this situation for which I am thanking them in advance. This is the mail I wrote to them, and which is reflective of the given situation: I have some clarifications regarding the billing against which I've already tried to register my complaints with your company. And which I plan to take up with the consumer forum - whose attention needs to be brought to the given situation. 1. When I subscribed to your post paid connection(Tariff Plan - Dell Photon Plus Mega 6GB Unlimited Plan) in the month of February 2013, I was told that I would have to pay Rs.877/- every month. But the bills that were sent to me were of the amount Rs.946/- 2. I kept paying the aforementioned amount for the months of February, March, April, May, June, July except until the month of August - for which the bill I received was of the amount of Rs. 1030/- . I wanted to find out why this excess amount has been charged despite the already inflated amount that was being charged previously (which I have been paying, ignoring the excess amount I was being charged) but to no avail, as your company complaint registration procedure seems to be hand in glove with a conspiratorial system. To this, I may add, it is essentially corrupt and abysmally lacking in transparency. It has repeatedly rejected any attempt on my part to register my complaints. If you do value your customers' time (regardless of whether or not you value yours) this issue should be high on your priority list. Please note that due to non availability of any cooperation in this regard and on not having received an iota of satisfactory explanation regarding the same I chose not to pay the aforementioned bill for the month of August. 3. As per your company service disconnection policy due to non payment of bills - my service was thereby terminated from your end. 4. However the matter became all the more intriguing and your company's unscrupulous procedure came to light when bills kept getting generated for those months following from August - when my services from your company end were withdrawn. I am clueless as to how can I be charged for not having used your services and when my non usage is precisely because you had withdrawn the services. 5. I must also bring to your notice that I am constantly traveling due to the nature of my work, so my availability depends on my work schedule. I did receive a certain call from someone in your company to whom I gave a specific time to come to my residence so that I could clarify with him about my situation following which I was to clear my dues. But this person from your company didn't get back to me on the specified time, to which he called me later to find another convenient time. Please note the utter callousness and unprofessional nature of the dealings of your company representatives. 6. I received yet another call from one of your customer service executives with whom I tried to place my complaints but instead had an unpleasant experience as she was abusive toward me on the phone, to which I took great exception. She also failed to clarify my queries. 7. As you must have already realized that my interest and faith in continuing patronage to your services has diminished to the point where I want to discontinue my connection with immediate effect.           Sorry, Tata DOCOMO, your call didn't help clarify the situation but in fact has brought to light the kind of scam you are running.

          Firstly, I must clarify that since I didn't pay the excess bill sent to me on the month of August - as per your company policy you withdrew connection from middle of September - to the effect that I could not use the dongle to log on the Internet.
          But, despite this withdrawal you kept generating bills for the following months i.e. September & October.
          Please note that you officially sent a "Service Restriction Intimation" dated 11th, November 2013. But how about the two month(September, October) of non-usage of service due to withdrawal of service from your end???!!! HOW CAN I BE BILLED FOR THE MONTHS I HAVE NOT USED YOUR SERVICES?
          I COULD NOT HAVE USED THE SERVICES AS YOU HAD ALREADY WITHDRAWN CONNECTIVITY!

          Secondly, I must bring to notice of concerned authorities that when I subscribed to the plan I was told that I'd have to foot a monthly rental of Rs.850 only. I purchased the dongle with Rs.850 for the 6GB data plan, and was told that from the following month onward I will be receiving the same amount in the form of a bill. But, I have since been receiving (till the month of JUNE) Rs. 946. as they have been adding a service tax, WHICH WAS NOT MENTIONED TO ME EARLIER WHEN THE PRODUCT GOT SOLD.
          And, AND HOW IS IT POSSIBLE WHEN THEY SOLD THE DONGLE FOR RS.850, IT WAS INCLUSIVE OF ALL TAXES?? AND WHEN I WAS CLEARLY TOLD IT WAS A Rs.850.00 MONTHLY RENTAL PLAN!

          PLEASE CLARIFY THE HIDDEN COSTS INVOLVED WHEN SELLING YOUR PRODUCTS IN THE MARKET!!

          THERE HAS BEEN ZERO TRANSPARENCY IN THIS DEALING.

          Thirdly, please note that I refuse to pay for the months I have not used your services. Please send me a rectified bill immediately!

            thanks to http://www.consumercomplaints.in/ you are doing a great job.today i had got a call from tata docomo side in the evening, he seems me very educated and gentle person, by the way he was talking and providing information about the problem, he told me that there is some booster problem in the area where i am living, they are going to fix an extra booster to rectify network problem in my area, i feel so special, as i listen to this, but look at the other side of coin, i am not the only user in phase-2, mohali, punjab, who is facing this problem, i think same answer will be delivered to all of them also, so i asked them IF YOU PEOPLE ARE NOT GIVING ME THE FULL SERVICES THEN WHY I SHOULD PAY YOU FULL AMOUNT FOR THE SERVICES, and this time person, asked me to send a request on [protected]@tatadocomo.com...
            (Strange, like full fee concession, like i am not economically sound to pay full expenses so, kindly, give me full or at least half fee concession...)
            i refused and told him that i am on this website because i was not entertained initially by docomo persons when i contacted on given email id...
            so, he hung up the call with attitude with no answer...
            then on14th dec. night my internet was not working since evening, so i called 198 in frustration, to again record the problem, but the man says Sir, network at your place is very o.k.. i asked him did you know where i reside, or what is going on, he again hit a straight shot" sir it is very o.k".
            then i told him that your senior official personally called me to tell me that there is network problem at your place so, we are going to fix a booster there, then he was speechless, and look the miracle shot of Sachin after 30 seconds he again go ahead with straight bat and send me out the ground by saying " network problem at your place is not persisting, and start asking me same questions as they always ask others to bother them, sir which set are you saying, kindly switch off you set like bla bla bla...
            i was given discount of 500 rs for nov. month due to non- availability of network, i told them untill then they are not rectifying the problem, they will not get full bill amount...
            i want to know TATA DOCOMO OFFICIALS if I am adjusting with the network issue, then why do not you people, ready to adjust with less amount, you give me services and get full amount, am i asking for some thing that is out of this world...

              Dear Sir/Mam, We were using Internet broadband Connection of Tata in our office of 1.5 mbps, we had taken this connection from one of the Sales rep of Tata or might be he is from a franchise of Tata, (Mr. Sarfaraz Pandlekar). We had taken a 2 mbps leased line connection as well from him, then we had taken telephone connection also of Tata itself. Once, Mr. Sarafaraz has asked us to upgrade our broadband connection 1.5 mbps to 2 mbps as there was an offer that if you will upgrade it & pay the full amount of Rs. 26, 953 /- for 12 months you will get 3 months free connection that means you have to pay for 12 months and you will get for 15 months and a Tablet as well a Laptop Bag. So we had Paid a Sum Amount of Rs. 26, 953 /- by cheque (Cheque date - 02/09/2013). then the connection got upgraded in 2 days from Tata. but still we are waiting for our offer, (Tablet & Laptop Bag). from 3 months we are calling everyday to Mr. Sarfaraz Pandlekar on +91 [protected] and he is not receiving the call, whenever he receives the call he says Tata is delaying! you will get your products soon & hang-up the call, he had given a number of Mr. Rajesh Sahu (Supervisor) +91 [protected] & this guy never speak properly, most of the time he just disconnect by listening the name of our company and most of the time transfer to someone else and ask him to say he is in meeting & sometimes don't receive the call itself. then I had contacted Tata something around 6-10 times & some says we had registered your complaint you will get the product before (xyz) date or some says you will get a call in 24 hours but no one call us, the rep of tata on last call had given the final date of 15th December 2013 but we didn't got our product yet. We are just very ashamed of asking again again for just Tablet & Laptop Bag, but as the sales rep has promised and given us an offer, So I need my products. & I had paid the full amount what he asked me to pay.                 Consumer of TATA Docomo mobile service. Network quality is poor / worst in first hand and now already changed to Airtel which is far better . Complaint Summary : I wanted a for Internet pack so decided to purchase 1 GB for INR 95 . In between got a call from Marketing team to have this service activated for me for which i agreed & Activation time was 4-5hrs followed by SMS confirmation as informed by the tele-marketer Later after 5 hrs didn't receive any SMS not activation message also same balance with no updates. I did Internet activation by Docomo menu since i used a Smart phone. Surprisingly the charges was deducted 2x (Twice) INR95 x 2 = 190 INR (Double activation) Called Customer service # and response and very poor and some times disable feature to talk to customer service hotline. Confirmed by Docomo nothing can be done . Docomo don't have feature to check if service is activated of not. They steel money from consumers & don't care to refund the amount back too.

                  I'm a customer of tata docomo 3G dongle. I went to tata docomo office in koramangala, bangalore. the people working there are very reckless and not answering properly. they have a token system and they are not following token order to serve customers. they are very rude and not even answering properly. It's not only my experience, i saw 3-4 people quarreling with the staff about their service . but still things didn't get better. from this expericence I can suggest people not to take docomo connection. I[censored] want do it at ur own peril.

                    i had recharged my mobile no [protected] on 12.12.2013 by Rs.150. today Rs.60 had been deducted from my balance for using facebook whereas i had also recharged my number by GPRS 15 to use facebook..then why this current deduction have been done ? then what i have to do to log in on facebook? i called your compain no.talk wid a person who has no basic idea about anything . he can't even clear what i shoud do now. we customers don't expect this type of care taker person from you. Its really shamefull for TATA DOCOMO. I NEED YOUR HELP ABOUT SUCH PROBLEM. thanking u.

                    Further, we also would like to inform you that the recharge of Rs.15/- data plan give the data benefit only for accessing facebook, twitter, whatsapp etc social networking website and the contents any thing browsed form web browsers will leads to normal data charges which will be debited from main balance.

                      Iam a tata docomo(my number is) network user, today (13/12/2013) i called tata docomo customer care number 121 to know about the rate cutter plans, they told some of the offers asked me to call 52222 to know the latest offers. when i called 52222, they told me the offer of 1p/2secs with recharge of 41 rupees having 30 days validity in recorded mode, when i recharged with 41 the message i got was as below

                      Hi! STV Recharge Successful .MRP Rs.41, Validity:90 days, All Local/STD calls @ 1p/sec Tranc ID: [protected]

                      after getting that message i called 121 but its not connected then i called 198 to register a complaint, the reply from the executive is very irresponsiblehe is not even concerned with my problem, and he is saying call again 52222 and listen clearly...i heard it thrice there is no problem from my side, the offer they said is quite oppisite from which i got.
                      so, please tellme how to handle these kind of cheatings and to get appropriate justice.

                          Hi, I did online recharge of rs 500 Where it was saying full talk time. After recharge through tata docomo website by selection option of full talktime, your customer care saying that i did recharge for other scheme. i have sent them screen shot also where it is showing full talktime. i did recharge under number [protected]. If you have 2 different scheme with same amount and system having confusing for that, it is not my fault. i want my money back or recharge which i did. Really this is irresponsible and dis satisfied service

I had tried two times for sim port i.e on 9-11-13 with UPC TX544656 & on 27-11-13 UPC 138454 to sim port submitted the required documents . validity of port expired. No action has been taken till now and my request has been denied without any reason. I don't want service of Tata DoCoMo . Request immediate action.

                              I have been a customer of TATA DOCOMO since 2011. I have been facing net connectivity issues since 2-3 months and no resolution is being provided till date after my repeated complaints.he told me that our company has 40 minute session on internet connectivity .you must restart your device every 40 minutes I tried to contact the customer service desk about 15-20 times but was not able to connect to the mobile service. This is really poor service by TATA DOCOMO. I have tried all methods to resolve this issue but your service department is not supporting anything. The information provided to me is not helping me in any way at all. Today was the end of my patience as i was calling customer service. There is no method to check the internet connectivity at any of your TATA DOCOMO call centers. The executive just say the restart your device in every 40 minute . The problem thus remained unresolved. If anyone can help me within the next 24-48 hrs i wont move to another service provider, else i will consider doing number portability with another service provider. DOCOMO horrible service has forced me to take this decision. If my complaint is not resolved i will approach the top management of DOCOMO (i know all he contacts) and raise this issue. Thanks...

                              Hi,
                              i have done MNP and the first recharge of Rs 250 which gave me 250 talk time + 1gb 3G data, for few days i have received the 3g speed now it is showing the 2g logo on top of mobile
                              and the speed is worst of all, my friend is also using DoCoMo 3G when I put his sim in my mobile it is showing 3G logo and when I put my sim in my friends mobile the logo and speed both are 2g, why tata is playing with the customers, they think the customers are fool or what, i have visited 2 tata DoCoMo brand shops but no resolution and also done online chatting with your customer care for 3 times but they also fail to support, please look into this or else I will go to some better provider.

                                  thanks to http://www.consumercomplaints.in - you are doing a great job.today i had got a call from tata docomo side in the evening, he seems me very educated and gentle person, by the way he was talking and providing information about the problem, he told me that there is some booster problem in the area where i am living, they are going to fix an extra booster to rectify network problem in my area, i feel so special, as i listen to this, but look at the other side of coin, i am not the only user in phase-2, mohali, punjab, who is facing this problem, i think same answer will be delivered to all of them also, so i asked them IF YOU PEOPLE ARE NOT GIVING ME THE FULL SERVICES THEN WHY I SHOULD PAY YOU FULL AMOUNT FOR THE SERVICES, and this time person, asked me to send a request on [protected]@tatadocomo.com...
                                  (Strange, like full fee concession, like i am not economically sound to pay full expenses so, kindly, give me full or at least half fee concession...)
                                  i refused and told him that i am on this website because i was not entertained initially by docomo persons when i contacted on given email id...
                                  so, he hung up the call with attitude with no answer...
                                  i was given discount of 500 rs for nov. month due to non- availability of network, i told them untill then they are not rectifying the problem, they will not get full bill amount...
                                  i want to know TATA DOCOMO OFFICIALS if I am adjusting with the network issue, then why do not you people, ready to adjust with less amount, you give me services and get full amount, am i asking for some thing that is out of this world...

Suddenly on 11-Dec-2013 i got a message stating that("your services are barred on non receipt of document"), after that I am unable to call or receive any more, I was surprised and called customer care. I was told to submit address and id proof documents. But how come without any notice the service will be disconnected just like that ? I was told that they have no information regarding this, the reply was "sorry for that", and service can not be resumed and you have to resubmit the documents. Their behavior is so rude towards the customer .

                                      sir i am a Tata Docomo GSM Prepaid customer, I've activated caller tune for a monthly rental of Rs. 36/- and song selection charge of Rs. 20/- I've activated this service for hearing my favorite songs to my callers, but now the complaint is the service provider are playing their Advertisement before my Caller Tune...
                                      I had got a Tata Docomo's connection and then activated its Caller Tune facility.
                                      The service charged me Rs.30 per month and Rs.15 for selection of song.
                                      The sole purpose of activating the service was to make my callers entertain at my cost.
                                      But the initial 10 seconds of the caller tune was occupied by Tata Docomo's promotional advertisement for its service. Where as other service providers like Vodafone, Airtel, etc have a direct approach to its caller tunes.
                                      80% of the time I receive my cal before 10 to 15 seconds.
                                      So my callers end up listening to Tata Docomo's promotional offer at my cost.
                                      Thia has led me to deactivate its service.
                                      I tried raising this issue to its customer care.
                                      Most of my friends do not activate the caller tune service because of this reason.
                                      Please do the needful if possible.
                                      This has not yet resolved.
                                      If it has been resolved, no confirmation has been given to me.

                                      Hello sir I got a couple of calls when I was driving, about caller tunes. I was answered because I don't know the phone No's. It was on 17-Jan-2013. It was charges me rupees of 35 for both calls. When I spoken to the customer agent he complaining that I was chosen the option to pay that service but I wasn't chosen. He was argued and finally accepted to pay back but he was returned only 17 rupees instead of 35 rupees. It was ridiculous.
