I recharged with the 3g plan for Rs.250 with Rs.222.5 TT & 1gb 3G data & unlimited 2g on June 20th. It's over a week now and I have tried calling the customer care on 121 for almost 120times and no body has responded yet on this. I luckily had a chance to speak to may be like 13 people and all they said was send "HVC" message to 52270 & internet would be activated in 2hrs and till date it hasn't been.
So I need to have this issue resolved soon.

    Tata Docomo via Networth Consultant have sold Walky device to me, and promised 8 digit walky number to me.
    But Tata Docomo does not provide 8 digit walky service in my area i.e installation address and billing address of device. Now they are not doing refund for my device. Effectively I paid 1700 Rs for device, which does not work in my area. I never made any call , nor received any call on it.

    I see an organized racket by company here. Intentionally selling of device has been outsourced to other consultants, rather than directly by Tata Docomo, so that they escape from doing refund for devices.

    Hello Sunitha,

    I had got a connection for 8 digit number on 23 May,[protected]. I was promised a 8 digit number at my billing address, which is in Bangalore - 560100.
    However after a month of visits at Tata Docomo customer care office and multiple calls. I came to know that 8 digit number is not available in Bangalore 560100 area.
    Now I want my money back, I am not interested in 10 digit number, I want only a 8 digit walky number.

    A person named Suresh had collected cheque 380763 for Rs.1700 dated 23 may, in name of "Networth Consultants", mobile [protected]. (which they are not picking now).

    Now we have two options .

    i) Refund my money , and take back device as it does not work in my area.

    ii) You do not refund money ,
    a) Citing different reasons,
    b) Or simply ask to visit customer care, for which you already know nothing with happen.
    c) Do not respond to mail.


    If you choose option 2 for any reasons a),b) or c), then I believe it is organized racket. To begin with I made a call to TataDocomo Customer care requesting for this Walky 8 digit number. Now I received call from Networth Consultant, saying that he will visit my premises for giving connection. This obviously establishes nexus between Tata Docomo and Networth Consultant. Instead of providing service directly you are outsourcing it to another consultant company and collecting money from them indirectly, so as to escape when consumer disconnects phone.

    I would do a consumer court case & subsequently a criminal case to establish organized racket, and file case for refund for money along with harassments and recover advocates fees too. Option ii) is undesirable, but I would be forced to do this if I do not receive my money back.

    I have all details of Tata-Docomo office visits & interaction with representative , its head. All phone-call details with TataDocomo & Networth Consultant etc which would be needed for court case. Nonetheless this is a different case, as Tata does not provide service in this are and yet sold device to me.

    I expect email reply at the earliest and hope to settle it in an amicable manner.

    How can Tata Docomo sell device to me when they DO NOT have service in this area ? And now refusing to refund for device ?????

    I am not seeing any resolution to my problem. Please see proofs below.

    1) Tata Docomo Service not available in my area, have put response mail from Tata to corroborate by point.

    2) Now Tata wants to see acknowledgement receipt. But their representative keeps saying that they have not received attachment. Have sent to 5 times, with mails to [protected]@tatadocomo.com & [protected]@tatadocomo.com .

    Tata & entire world can see acknowledgment receipt here. And please explain to Tata's why they are not able to see Acknowledgement receipt.
    Had sent it as attachment obviously, but seems Tata server blocks attachment, so have sent it as link and still CC representative keeps complaining that they have not received attachment. Seems all a plot to harass customer from returning money.

        Since long I have already registered for DND with IDEA, still i have receiving messages from TA-MDeals. I have talked with customer care too. But they don't response for the same.

        Idea — non delivery of messages FROM tata docomo

        Am Harshavardhana who's a long-standing customer to idea but recently a friend in mumbai bought a docomo connection and wasn't able to message ONLY to me. she was able to message to people with idea in different states but not to me..this is really annoying as we'r not able to text each other..kindly help..r we required to change our message settings?

          I HAD PAID A SUM OF RS,135 TOWARDS RECHARGE TARRIFF AND RS.35 FOR SMS BOOSTER ON 26.06.2013 FOR NO [protected], BUT TILL 1400 HOURS ON 27.06.13 THE SERVICE FOR THE ABOVE AMOUNT HAs not been activated . EVEN AFTER CONTACT AND MADE COMPLAINT IN CUSTOMER CARE THERE IS NO RESPONSE. NOW WHEN I TRIED TO CONTACT THE CUSTOMER CARE AGAIN MY CALL IS BEING IGNORED.

          Hello,
          I have done special recharged of Rs 501 which includes Free 96000 sec (1600 min) for Local/National calls. 200 Local / National SMS Daily. 4 GB Data. Validity - 60 days through a local shop on 02/04/2012.
          Immediately i received the confirmation mesage from the Tata Docomo intimating me that the recharge is successful with the transaction id [protected].
          But still the message pack of 200 sms per day has not yet been activated and my balance is reducing by Rs 1.50 for every sms i send.
          I tried calling the customer care for over two days, but its coming busy since then. I am fed up with this service

            Docomo — Phone number not activated

            Hi,

            I took a new docomo number in the first week of August (Hyderabad). After numerous attempts, the number has not been activated and I'm still struggling calling the people I had spoken to while taking the connection.

            All my documentation is in place and I also have the sim card. However, I am not able to get it activated.

            The concerned people I spoke to are Mr. Hitesh and Mr. Gouri Shankar do not receive calls.

            I'd appreciate help!

            Tata Docomo — E-RECHARGE ACTIVATION

            TATA DOCOMO IS A FRAUD COMPANY I EVER SEEN.
            TILL DATE I HAVE FACED THREE PROBLEMS WITH this tata docomo

            1. they are activating on their own any kind of service without asking the customer. like morning saibaba Aarti
            2. they are not providing correct info about recharge (to reduce call rate) i.e. if Rs. 56/- has recharged on your mobile, then Rs. 27/- is not valid.
            3. though e recharge is done, it is not shown on their own network/system. one exec. is telling about activation done & other is vice versa.

            THIS IS A TOTALLY FRAUD COMPANY, COLLECTING MONEY FROM INDIA & GIVING TO JAPAN.

              I have done 250 normal recharge of tats docomo after 5 days they reduse my 61 rs. balance I am contect custmer care they refund my 30 balance then they says your 31 rs charge for downloading but in my file manger nothing is downloading data it not retun my taiktime .
              sir after 5 days they was reduse my 49 rs. talktime then contact with custmer care they give same reason of downloading .then after 1 day it was reduse my 13 rs. talktime and give same reson in between 3 to 5 days custmere care not attende my call and block my no

                1st, 2nd and 3rd deduction were made on 5th, 13th and 26th June respectively, each amounting to Rs. 30. and now they are not ready to listen anything from my side. some of them were suggesting to me that, you just do as your wish we will not refund your money back. the services they are telling me that i have activated them but exactly was not activated from my side and completely useless and surely i couldn't understand that what are the uses of those activated services?

                  I had ported my mobile number from Idea cellular to Tata Docomo as I found Docomo cheap and better than Idea.
                  But it was my biggest mistake or the worst thought I had. Docomo rate plans are fine but the internet service in Chandigarh region is worst or I must say no service at all. They offer 2GB data but you can hardly use few MBs. The internet never works, is always disconnected.
                  Had a lot of voice and e-mail conversations with few senior officials of company, but 0% improvement. They always give fault in your mobile.
                  Idea or others are way better and stable network than DOCOMO.
                  Free Advice: Don't go for DOCOMO for internet, you will cry definitely.

                  It has no good points in any field i.e. customer care, network strength, clarity in voice, number of outlets etc.

                    I raised a porting request for my mobile number that is with Tata Docomo. The porting code was pending with Tata Docomo for over 10 working days and then when I called, they asked me to pay unbilled amount of Rs.181. I have a deposit of Rs.900, still I paid.

                    Next morning I call and they say porting code is closed because someone called the customer and customer agreed to continue with the service.

                    This is absurd. Between night 11pm and morning 9am no one called me and I never gave a consent to continue with this service.

                    TRAI should put some check on these guys as these people make suffer so that we are forced to use their service.

                    Kindly look into it. My porting code is TX654951.

                    The issue is NOT resolved. First of all the question is who closed the porting request.
                    As per TRAI, no service provider can close/terminate a porting request.

                      Please let me know IS THIS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE?

                        immediately i call your representative without using single kb but he said that your 95 rs service is deactivated so you will not able use that data plan.
                        Sir 95 rs is not small amount at least for me. so please give me that data plan back or give me the refund in my account so please kindly register my complaint and give refund as early as possible thank you

                          I am using TATA Docomo GSM number from long time. My number is [protected].
                          The TATA was activated call me tune without our confirmation and deducted the amount from my prepaid a/c. TATA is not ready to refund even we have de-activated the service.

                          “As per TATA, It is customer duty to lookout and de-activate the service if TATA activate any service without customers confirmation” That is what I come to know by talking with TATA customer care centre.

                          TATA can activate any service to customer without any conformation and can deduct the amount which is really against the telecom policy.

                              I am unable to get the Tatadocomo Photon connection cancelled from a month. Everytime I call them they keep diverting the question and ask me to transfer it to someone..and then they disconnect. I am not even sure if they have registered a complaint. My bill amount has gone more than 2000 with 0 usage.

                                I am facing a big problem with my GPRS connection. I need to reset my internet buttona number of times in order to get connected with GPRS. The problem does not stops here ,even after getting connected to GPRS it would get disconnected after few minutes.Then i have to repeat the same process -dialing….dialing…dialing ….after 15 or 20 clicks some times it would get connected to GPRS. I contacted costumer care a number of times regarding this.They reply me your problem will be resolved soon… Nothing solved my problem till now . I have been facing this problem for last 4 months and still continuing…
                                I asked my friends who are using DoCoMo all are facing same issue and know one to help us

However we do understand and regret the fact, that you have not had a favorable experience with the said product.

                                  Sir, In Chhattisgarh , All the tata docomo prepaid customers are facing internet connectivity problem .Regarding mobile no. [protected] Tata docomo-prepaid
                                  When we want to establish internet connection , we are getting a problem, the browser does not connect in one time , we need 4-10 times retry to establish a connection, and the problem is happening in all mobile and PC too.

                                        I bought a tata docomo recharge coupon of Rs 20 from a shop on 20th september 2011.As tried to do the recharge from the coupon to my surprise it showed that the coupon has been used earlier.Although i my self scratched it used it for the first time.But it still showed that it has been used earlier.After this i went to the shopkeeper and told the problem then he contacted tata docomo representatives through the help line..To my shock they told that this coupon has been used by my number.But when i checked my balance there was'nt any increment.And now the shopkeeper also saw a chance to get out of this matter and now its between you and the company.Though i still tried to contact the customer care and they said they are sorry now cant do any thing regarding this.This obviously was not the answer i was expecting.It utterly irresponsible and unaccountable from the company's part.And now no one will pay me the amount which i have robbed of from tata docomo.Because my definitely did not went for any of my purpose.It was looted and no reason what so ever being given for that.Even though Rs 20 is very small amount in terms of loss but its larger in terms of trust for a customer.My complaint is how come they can operate like this irresponsibly and strict action must be taken atleast for the sake of transparency and accountability in this country.

                                        I continously calling last 2 hrs but no one customer care executive of tata docomo attaining my call, tata docomo service deduct my balance and now they do not attain my call now i want to change my service provder please no one use this service my mobile no. is [protected]

                                        on 1st May, i was deducted 60 rupees from my mobile .. reason not clear... evening i made call to customer care but not connected after that next day morning i made a call to customer care . one executive told that there was some problem in out system,we cant help you regarding this inquiry call back after 3hrs..i called to customer care but not connected whole day but i tried 20to 25 time but no use . see how reckless they are.. even not responding to me.. so what i have to do.. please give a suggestion.. and give me refund of my balance of 60 Rs. earliest... Unhappy with this services completely...
