I have been receiving these disgusting MY DIVE-IN PLANET advertisements on my prepaid connection, probably through mobile internet. Example of such advertisements are - "Download Hot Babes Wallpaper", "Download Bikini Models", etc. I tried calling customer care numerous times, and as always they are saying we can't do anything on this. Few of them even pointing finger at me saying I have downloaded or enabled the application in my mobile, which is not the case at all and have been verified thoroughly. The mobile is least used and remains all the time with my aged mother mostly for receiving incoming calls. Even there is no setting for MY DIVE-IN PLANET in my mobile, that can be disabled. Please note that this issue is faced by many TATA Docomo CDMA(previously TATA Indicom) customers as evident from online consumer forums.
As I understand from recent changes in business and service policies, TATA Docomo is now looking out for siphoning money from its customers by following such unfair means. Because, in many of the cases, people might unintentionally press the "Yes" button on such advertisements and Rs.10 is gone immediately from his prepaid account. Also, due to such continuous messages, the mobile battery gets drained unnecessarily. Even, you people have started charging for calls to customer care representatives. At the same time, in most of the cases, the customer care representatives does not have basic knowledge and efficiency to resolve issues or they just ask the customer to visit TATA Hubs to get their query addressed.
What the hell is this? Are you guys trying to fool your customer? I can immediately throw away this TATA Docomo SIM. But, I will not do so and escalate this issue to the highest level(if required) for proper resolution. You have to look into the issue seriously. Every organization should understand that they can not take their customers for granted. TATA brand has always been among the best in terms of loyalty to business ethics. I don't understand what is the reason for sudden change in course.
