I recharged my pre-paid docomo phone, [protected], registered in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, on the 17th of November 2009, with Rs.99 special recharge. I got a confirmation message from TATA DOCOMO stating that the recharge was successful. The transaction ID for the same is[protected]. The scheme available, as per told to me by my retailer, was that I'll be getting 909 national SMSes free, for period of 99 days. But even after 24hours of recharging, the scheme was not activated. I had subscribed to this scheme before also, and was quite happy with it. I called up 121, the customer care helpline, on the 18th of November and spoke with a customer care executive, to no avail. They informed me that the scheme was stopped since the 1st of November 2009. Please note, that if the scheme was stopped, how did I get a successful recharge SMS from TATA DOCOMO? I did not get any talk-time, nor was the scheme activated. Where have my Rs.99 gone then?

in the morning I received an sms on my docomo that we can recharge docomo online
without any extra fees or payment gateway. yaa its true www.babuchak.com is
marvellous. It also provides daily prizes to be won worth Rs.30, 000 daily just
to recharge our mobiles.

we want such sites like www.babuchak.com

& it also has a very good scheme to win mobile phones at rs.10 only.

Now in the market there are 2 players to recharge tata-docomo online

1. www.babuchak.com (Free of cost)

2. www.ezrecharge.in (takes Rs.6 for recharging Rs.100 & takes Rs.18 extra if you recharge your cell in night)

I think www.babuchak.com is the right choice without any extra fees & it also has a 24hrs call-center

    I have a problem with my new Tata Docomo Prepaid mobile services. My friends & family members have reported me several times that they have tried to call my number but it says network busy or not reachable. The same problem occurs for another Tata Docomo number as well.
    Sometimes even while calling from Tata Docomo to Tata Docomo sucks! Get Network error even though it shows full signal strength.
    Please try to figure out these kind of issues sooner else we will have to throw ur sim cards in garbage and walk away.

      TATA DOCOMO is nothing but waste service provider. I suggest the service provider to stop spending money on their advertisements, as no one is interested and no body have patience to bare all these non-sense. When you call some one from TATA DOCOMO, its better if it atleast says network busy or number is unavailable, but it directly says number does not exist. I just did one thing, i took out the sim card from my mobile and threw under the tires of 10wheels lorry. I am happy now...for being first person who threw sim card under the tires of heavy vehicle.

      I am a Docomo user; the coverage in Kolkata is really bad. I called the Call center, the agent was finding it difficult but insisted on continuing a conversation i English; anywy, he told me a new tower is coming up in Salt Lake to be comissioned by 20 Nov. I do not know if the tower has come up, but the signal remains very poor.
      Wake up, Do Co Mo, the ads are nice, but we are not intersted. We want service.

        It is really waste to change to Tata docomo.. always network busy...
        Day before yestarday I was in Train and called since from you morning to my family, because mother is not feeling good... TATA DOCOMO = NETWORK BUSY is appeared in every call will get frustrate by seeing that network busy ... Finally I asked another person which is AIRTEL and in single attempt I'm able to make call..
        What Kind of service this people are providing DON'T KNOW if we call CUSTOMER CARE they are saying the NETWORK problem. Understand 1 thing you are not giving the ROCKET SCIENCE to US.
        really one thing is sure that only 1 equation is fit for DOCOMO i.e NETWORK BUSY =TATA DOCOMO

        I totally agree with your views. I have also encounetered the same problem, every time i call (specially to reliance network) it is showing network busy. Tata Docomo is the biggest flop service provider.
        and if you call customer care they are saying unpredicatable answer and just like that you asked the magic tricks to them ...
        I have to give 1 suggestion ..
        Who are coming towards the DOCOMO don't come till they improve there service else you will cry ...

        Today I got the confirmation from Customer Care that this problem is last lasting... it seems Never ending stroy of fevicol ... nahi zodana...nahi zodana...nahi zodana... TATA DOCOMO NETWORK BUSY nahi zodana.

        Waste to money and time on the DOCOMO ...No quality at all...

          Dear Sir,
          I would like to bring in your kind notice as per under mentioned to take strong disciplinary action against Your Mr. Amit pandey, Area manager ( Tata Docomo) posted at your Nagpur office.
          That I, K. K. Kesarwani , a central Government’s employee, working under Government of India, Ministry of Commerce & Industries , Petroleum & Explosives safety Organisation ( Department of Explosives) Nagpur., presently residing in a Central Government residential Colony allotted by the Government of India, at Type II, Qtr. No. 87, Bunglow no. 17, CPWD Colony, North Telankhedi Road, Civil Lines, Nagpur – 440001 (MH).

          That I got a new prepaid connection of Tata Docomo on 09/09/2009 ( Mobile Number : [protected] ) from your retailer M/S. Vidyarthi Pustak Bhandar, Behind Veterinary College, Seminary Hills, Nagpur (MH) and submitted all the required documents of residence proof as well photo Identity proof (copy enclosed) as asked by the said retailer, with my duly filed application for new Tata Docomo connection.
          I got my prepaid connection activated next day from the date of my application, but I am very sorry to write to you that suddenly just after 2 – 3 days from the date of activation of my connection, outgoing services of my mobile No. [protected] has been barred from your end without giving any intimation to me as well without hearing my version.
          When I contacted to retailer for asking about reason for getting barred of my outgoing calls, he said that company has rejected all the documents submitted by me in support of Photo Identity and residence proof.
          When I asked the said retailer that I want to talk with any senior responsible person of Tata Docomo company to know the ground of rejection of my documents, he gave me few numbers of Mr. Amit Mandogade and Mr. Pranav of M/s. Shantikunj Agency ( Agency Code No. is [protected]) beside number of Mr. Amit Pandey ( Area Manager) of Tata Docomo.
          I have called number of times to Mr. Amit Mandogade and Mr. Pranav of M/s. Shantikunj Agency ( Agency Code No. is [protected]) on mobile number [protected] and have made so many request them to resume out going services of my mobile, but they did not take any action against my request.
          At last I tried to call Mr. Amit Pandey ( Area Manager) of Tata Docomo on his mobile number [protected], most of time his mobile was switch off, but once when he received my call and when I described my problem before him, he started shouting on me that “ how dare you to call me” and “who the bloody gave you my number tell me his name I will terminate his agency.” Beside this he said so many other things, as wordings used by Mr. Amit Pandy can’t be written here.

          As concerned to documents related to my photo ID and residence proof , I have under mentioned documents with me.
          1. Driving License issued by the “Kanpur RTO Department.”
          2. Voter ID Card issued by Election Commission
          3. Bank Pass Book
          4. Photo ID card issued by the Central Government’s Department
          5. Electricity Bill
          6. PAN CARD
          7. Residential Quarter allotment letter in CPWD Colony issued by Government of India
          8. Address Verification letter issued by the Central Government’s Department.

          But Mr. Amit Pandey refused to accept any of the document out of above mentioned and said that he will not accept any document other than Driving License issued by the “Nagpur RTO Department only.”
          I really could not understand the reason why he started abusing to me.
          I would like to know whether company has recruited Mr. Amit Pandey to hear and to resolve problems of subscribers/customers or to insult of society’s sincere and responsible persons like me.
          This is to inform you that abusing me by your Mr. Amit Pandey comes under the definition of “defamation”
          Now I don’t have any interest to get restoration of your Tata Docomo services on my mobile No. [protected].

          You are requested to take a strong disciplinary action against Mr. Amit pandey and to ask him to express his written apologies to me for his behavior within seven days else, I will have no option but to file a defamation suit before the law of court against Mr. Amit Pandey as well against Tata Docomo Company.

          I bought a new connection of docomo on 23rd, oct, but after a month on 29 dec, my all out going calls were barred i hav given all my documents again but still no result .i firstly want resolve my problem quickly, and please give the contact no of head office in kanpur so that i can contact that my id proof are still submitted or not .please contact me on both e-mail, and phone as given ...[protected] i was told to me tha with in 3 days it will be done but no response .

            Iam also facing network problem with TATA DOCOMO. there is a lot of network problem with TATA DOCOMO. I talk to customer care representative he assure me to rectify the same within 2 week but still the problem is not solved even when i search manually i did not get aircel in the list they said they have congestion free network but in reality they have no network. iam living in Gramam near mavelikara (pin 689645) Alappuzha Dis
            i am using tata docomo since 2 years, about 4 months back they unknowingly added live aarti on my mobile, i have called on155223 &also send sms for discontinuation which they promptly agreed by sending me reply sms, but till the date company is deducting 11 rs.every week by sending me sms after repeatedly calling for denial of service.---can anybody from co. help me? my no. is [protected].

              Dear Sir,

              I have taken a prepaid TATA DOCOMO connection (mobile no. [protected]) in the month of october 2009 (approx 03/10/2009). I have filled up the form on same day & submitted my docs (one colour photo & one voter ID card as ID + Address proof) on the same day. I have recharged the number with Rs.50/- also.

              But without any notice, message, intimation, information TATA DOCOMO has disconnected my line. This is not at all accepted. I am facing lots of problem for this. who will take responsibility for my problem. It is not a matter for a simple number, it is the matter o[censored]nfair process of disconnection of line. what about of my Rs.95/- (sim card Rs.45/- + charging Rs.50/-)

              I want back my money & docs. I future if any one do some thing wrong with my docs then TATA DOCOMO will be responsible for this.

              I have taken the connection from jay jagannath enterprise & distributor name is some thing like "Square"

                UNIMAGINABLY, BREATHTAKINGLY INCOMPETENT SERVICE!!! UNIMAGINABLY, BREATHTAKINGLY INCOMPETENT COMPANY!!!

                Now I see other similar complaints in this forum about outgoing calls being barred-- don't ever get a mobile from tata docomo!

                Service starts, then calls are barred. I submit additional documentation to retailer. Service restarts, then calls are barred again. Tata docomo says documents have not been received. Retailer says they have been sent. I have just about given up, then service restarts again, operates for a few more days, then calls are barred again. Tata docomo says documents have not been received!!

                What does customer service say? Someone will call you back-- and never does. It is not our responsibility, it is the retailer-- aren't you the service provider that agreed to provide service, that said you'd call back, etc? Customer service reps have an astounding ability to parrot back canned phrases, but apparently no pressure from their employer to actually solve any problems.

                What does the law say? Can a company legally accept money for a service and then fail outright to provide it? And have no mechanism for a speedy refund? This sounds like a class-action lawsuit waiting to happen.

                What does business sense say? Wouldn't they rather carry revenue-generating outgoing calls rather than just non-revenue-generating incoming ones? OK, I don't mind parking this sim card in a mobile phone to receive calls and using other more reliable services for outgoing ones.

                Tata Docomo — OUTGOING CALL SERVICE BARRED AS COMPANY DID NOT RECEIVE DOCUMENTS

                DEAR SIR/MADAM,

                I purchased a TATA DOCOMO SIM from Goregaon East Mumbai and submitted all the documents like Voter's card photo and lease and lisence copy and electricity bill to the retailer.
                The retailer says he has submitted the docs to the company guy who visits his shop to collect docs but company has not received it.There is no co operation from neither the retailer or the customer service team of TATA DOCOMO to get my service restored.
                Even i am facing lot many difficulties.

                You can always contact the nodal officer, and inform them your problem.
                you can reach a Nodal officer at

                Even then if they dont response. Pull them in Consumer Court directly. Its the only way to get the compensation OR services from them.
                itz the most worst network service ever seen...i bought two sim cards nd both sims blocked witout even an confirmation call...!!!the reason is same as the above ones...please see into this matter!!!

                  TATA — top up card

                  I purchased one Top up card at bangalore and was not able to key in the 14 digit PIN.
                  The SR no is[protected] and my cell no is [protected] .Pl arg to charge the currency for Rs 100/-already paid and the scratched PIN was unreadable

                  Recently I bought two top-up cards worth Rs 50 each. While scratching (like regular) I lost some number from both cards. Is there any solution to this or just I have to suffer the loss of 100 bucks.

                  I am Dipankar Roy, My Mobile No. is [protected], As sms by Tata prepaid customer care i recharged with Rs. 151/- and told me there my call charge will be come down Re. 1 /- per 10 Min call in west Bengal and Re 3 /- / 10 min STD call . After 5 days is over i lodge complain on PCR06090217 DT.[protected] . They replyed that they will be resolved within 60 hrs. But till today They have not done anything from there side. They had locked my mobile for not to talk with customer care. I time to time applied for rectify my problem. They telling " Sorry" this technical fault. It can possible to given miss statement to the customer for getting money. This king of "Chitting". So many people is suffering like this attitude of this company. Out of 100 ,1% complain is lodge. Now it is clear to the company to make money easy.

                  Tata Docomo — not giving recharge balance

                  i have got massage from tata docomo company on 23 aug , 2011 that on recharge of rs 50 , i will get rs 40 instant & remaining rs 15 in next 3 (three) days. so i do recharge of that & i get rs 40 but after so many times calling to customer care of tata docomo i am not setishfide by them.
                  my cell phone no is 0-[protected] & transaction id of that recharge is - [protected].
                  please help me.

                  Tata Docomo — Balance Disappearance

                  Dear sir,

                  On Tuesday, 10th April’12 at about 6 pm I found the balance of Rs.64/- in my Mobile Phone no.[protected], but to my utter surprise at about 8:30 pm all the balance of Rs.64/- disappeared even though I did not make any call. However, on my complaint at customer care, only Rs.30/- was returned back but for the balance of next part of 34/- you assured to resolve by 11th April’12 11:00 am and my reference no. was given GBL-[protected]. On my making calls nothing has been done except fake assurances.

                  Please look into the matter seriously and return the balance of Rs.34/- immediately without delay.

                    I Buy a tata Docomo Sim since when it started in the HYD., but after 5 are over then it started problem, my cell(instrument (Nokia) stuck., and appears a message like this " updating sim'
                    or Stuck off or Swicth off or no signal.,

                    I can't get the right information in the right time through Custmer care.,
                    4 days back i meet DIVE IN show room near Nagarjuna Circle., They told you must change the sim instead of old with same number, and charges 75/- for sim change,

                    I dont want to pay.. Why because It is not my problem, May be (Manfacture problem or opertor problem) or system error.

                    Why should I pay please concerned my request and replaced new sim without charges

                    However, the SIM works correctly with Samsung Star S5233.

                      For a month my tata docomo connection([protected]) worked fine, after diwali when I came back to mumbai, I discovered that outgoing calls were barred on my number. After I inquired from my vendor The Mobile Store, Powai, I was told that my papers were rejected but reasons not known. I launched one complaint on tata docomo webiste() after their person called once my complaint was closed giving me the assurance that connection would restart in 72 Hrs. I re-sumbitted my papers to my vendor. This time docomo lady asked me to fill one outstation form as well which I did on 31/10/09 still outgoing didn't start. I registered one more call on their website(). Everytime I followed up from either mobile store or tatadocomo, I was given false assurances. Till date my connection has not been restored. Today for the third time I was told by docomo that my papers have again been rejected. The lady and person of customer care person of tata docomo have accepted that their backend people are rejecting the papers for no reasons. I have given Bank's allotement letter as residential proof and driving license of Jaipur RTO but they have a problem with the driving license saying tht it is an outstation proof whereas driving license is valid all over india. In that past, I have taken sim card based on same proofs. I'm fed up of tata docomo's behaviour. I have already criculated this number that''s why I don't want to change it. CAN ANYBODY HELP

                          respected sir i hve a connection of tatadocomo which i purchased the sim from my local retailer whoes shop name is farukhabad at the time of selling of docomo sim the above shopkiper demand me for a photograph and photo copy voter identity card . i have submit the above on the time sim purchasing but after two day i mean on 01/11/2009 i revived a sms from docomo that i[censored] not the submit the papers ur sim fuction will stop , after this i say to the above retailler ,he say i have send ur total docoment. and the service provider send same sms after each 24 hours.and today at 5p.m the out going call from sim is stoped . when i talk about above with customer care, they not respond directly and give me the dear help line number but the above retailler not conversed on that number and missbehaved with me. so my complain is that the peron who is responsible for this happenning. should compensaid me ,

                            One Customer Care officer of Tata DOCOMO says that I have used GPRS, another says that uses of Dive in.Sr,Supervisor Amarjeet says that we have push some button on their call.Parvinder says SMS sent to 522222.Nodal Officer says that Documentary prove will be sent by listen.but no one is agree to lodge
                            my complaint regarding this When No one has used My Cell Phone or Sim Card how this type of blunder mistake happen. My humble request to authorities that kindly make an inquiry in this matter.I needed thorough inquiry in this matter.

                            Tata Docomo — unauthorized debit of balance amount

                            My tata docoma mobile No.[protected]. I recharged my mobile with Rs.60/- on a full TT offer on 16.11.2010. On 17.11.2010 Rs.30/- automatically deducted from my balance amount. On lodging complaint against this with customer care executive, the amount was refunded to me on 19.11.2010. Thereafter after 2-3 days again Rs.30/- deducted from my balance. I have lodged complaints twice but the amount yet to be refunded. This type of money gaining drills of mobile service providers be stopped. It will create not only bad impression of the company but also unnecessary disturbance to customers, like me, those who are using mobiles only for making calls. Request refund the amount immediately.

                            Tata Docomo — UNAUTHORISED DEBIT IN BALANCE

                            On 29/04/2011 Rs 10/- were deducted from my preapaid balance by saying that some Yuvi pack was activated while I have not actrivated any pack.On 30/04/2011 again rs. 3 were deducted for some game pack.Customer care is not able to trace the issue and sayong that I have activated some game pack by Internet while I have not login in last 15 months.Also they are not resetting my internet password so that I can login and deactivate the service

                                I am using prepaid sim since three months and the people of Tata Docomo says that MISS CALL ALERT is pre-activated service, then why I didnt got a single miss call alert as many times my mobile is switched off or there is no signal and many people told me that me that my mobile is always out of reach.

                                The Tata Docomo no.[protected] harassed me by sending miss call frequently to my Airtel No. 91-[protected] on 04/11/2009. I need this owner of the mobile no. should be punished as per law.
                                in the morning I received an sms on my docomo that we can recharge docomo online
                                without any extra fees or payment gateway. yaa its true www.babuchak.com is
                                marvellous. It also provides daily prizes to be won worth Rs.30, 000 daily just
                                to recharge our mobiles.

                                we want such sites like www.babuchak.com

                                & it also has a very good scheme to win mobile phones at rs.10 only.

                                Now in the market there are 2 players to recharge tata-docomo online

                                2. www.ezrecharge.in (takes Rs.6 for recharging Rs.100 & takes Rs.18 extra if you recharge your cell in night)

                                  I am haarish working in TATA group of Companies, Chennai. I have applied for a postpaid connection from TATA DOCOMO on Monday(26thOct2009) from the stall put up inside the office premises and I have been told that i will be receiving the sim card by next day. But till now i have received any calls regarding the process or confirmation of number for my connection. When i tried contacting the sales person to whom i applied, he says it will take time as rules have been changed. Being a new competitor to the market you take this much days to process a new connection. But, the AIRTEL,AIRCEL people are giving the sim activated the next second we finish the formalities. Provide me the activated sim by today else handover the documents i have given to me. Being a TATA Employee am facing this problem. What is the state of others? I think i should better tell my friends not to take this connection.
                                  Even after mailing the manager fo rthe concerned area no steps have been taken.

                                  Am ajojoseph my tatadocomo number is [protected].i applied to transfer my prepaid number to post paid service on march-2012. And paid rs: 400. (Application no: [protected]). And I got new sim card also. But I didn’t receive any messages or calls from customer care executives. My new sim card is not working. Five times I called to customer care and one time I send mail also. But I didn’t get any responds. So please do needful

                                    I've been using the service since the service is launched and it was really impressive. Things were suddenly changed before 2-3 weeks back. I was on roaming and Idea was providing the service on roam. Surprisingly I didn't receive even a single call on roaming. When I came back to Bangalore, I was not able to complete the calls. Some disturbance occurs and the calls were dropping in the middle. I contacted CS. They were not giving the exact picture of the issue. Instead, they have been informing me that "Sir your issue will be resolving in next 24/36/48 hours" Finally I requested escalation and one of the agents contacted me and informed "next 48 hours". I really requested the agent to be honest and tell the truth. THE AGENT WAS DISHONEST. I called them up today and requested the escalation matrix.... No Use ... They were hesitant to give the info.... I have decided to switch the connection...

                                    The same thing happened with me.the agents are not honest.they are just misgiding the customers.
                                    As i have requested him to transfer the call to his manager he was just keep me on hold for past 20 minutes. Do we call this as a customer service. Is this a TATA tradition.
                                    The Network issue seems sorted out, not completely. But I haven't tried to call the customer care department as everyone is trained to lie. They don't give exact information. I feel it like a TATA Tradition. 2 weeks back, my room mate got a legal notice to pay a sum of 500 rupees for his disconnected internet connection. He fed up with the connection [Wi-max] and disconnected. During the service period, they failed to provide the assured service and now, after disconnection, they come back. As we are working, we don't have time to run behind the police and judiciary. It is always better to obey them, when we stay away from home. Ha Ha...

                                      Hi,

                                      The worst GSM service in India is TATA DOCOMO. With this network we are not able to call[protected]. After repeated complaints also they don't solve problems. When called to customer care they just raise complaints & say we would call you back soon. Till date no one from the company has called.
